1941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: May 22, 2016, 09:11:31 AM
If I'm rich there's no need for me to gamble anymore I'd rather spend some of my money to satisfy my needs, it's a win win situation.
Actually, research of gambling habits of people show that people in most cases are aware that it is very hard to get rich from gambling.
They treat gambling as adrenaline infusing experience and stress reliever rather than money making job.
1942  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastBitRoulette.com - WIN 3x BTC with provably fair on: May 22, 2016, 09:07:39 AM
Op, your site is not even using https protocol which is industry standard of almost every serious gambling services.
Are you gonna upgrade it? Because for now lack of it is a serious deterrent for me.
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Bitcoin? on: May 21, 2016, 11:54:43 AM
Let's be hones here. Bitcoin is the reason I started gambling. I am not a fan of real life casinos, because they are created purely to throw your off balance.
And I don't like to give FIAT powered casinos my personal information either. So playing with cryptocurrency is the only real way for me to gamble.
1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: May 21, 2016, 11:48:58 AM
I am considered gambling  as a fun activity as it gives me a moment to relax from the problems and stress my day job has bring to me. FYI, I am not a real gamblers, I just play for fun and nothing else. I only bet with a small amount, an amount that I won't divulge but this amount guarantees a little thrill to me everytime I gamble. I do bet in sports, any association (Basketball and Soccer).
From what you told us I can assume that you have no gambling problems.
Although using gambling as your only stress reviler could potentially lead to compulsive gambling,
because it will calm you and ease your nerves you would eventually want to do it more and more.
1945  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving has already Begun, Yes or No? on: May 21, 2016, 11:38:00 AM
Price is going down slowly now so how can it have already begun?
Unless that is intention for the effect of halving on bitcoin in the first place  Undecided
This is not the first bitcoin halving. And the first time it was almost the same. There wasn't any price spike, or sudden price rise.
Bitcoin price wasn't even going up right after the first halving, it took couple months for market to correct the price.
1946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How halving will affect big mining companies? on: May 21, 2016, 11:33:49 AM
the miners will mine Ether and others....Bitcoin will lose part of the miners in few months.
I don't think that any serious bitcoin mining company, or owner of large amount of ASICS will stop just because halving.
It is much more profitable to still run their rigs than stopping and seek money elsewhere. People are overrating halving effect.
1947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: May 21, 2016, 11:26:52 AM
People are just greedy, greedy for money and they are all looking for a way to get rich quick. Some people believe gambling is the way to go, just because they won 1 time big they will keep trying to win again and again. Gambling biggest problem is that it is addictive. You cant control yourself from it once you start it. I am writing the Book on Gambling Habbits. Hopefully it will be in market next month. Smiley
If you are such expert in this field then what do you think of this thread? It is helpful and information are correct?

1948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: May 21, 2016, 11:22:01 AM
Why not divide it. Keep the .5btc on your wallet and take a risk on .5btc on other ways on how to grow your bitcoin like gambling, trading, etc.
Let's face it. Gambling is not an investment, nor the optimal way of trying to earn money.
You don't want to gamble all your money, and while investing  is also risky losses can be diminished in the process with gambling your loss is definite.
1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: May 21, 2016, 11:10:59 AM
i have deposited 0.1btc some months ago and i have started playing with the lowest bet i can i played it for 1-2hour and i made upto 0.195btc and just 1% of greed and i lost all the coins that thimg made me cry
It is common problem of gamblers - then don't usually make the same mistake once or twice. They do it multiple times usually.
And you are the only one blame for your loss you were exited and think you could win indefinitely.
1950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 20, 2016, 07:35:24 AM
People become rage because they lose while gambling, and when they lose they will do anything to get back there losses by doing indiscipline way of gambling. They will chase their loses until they knew it that their hard earned money is gone.
Because people are not logical creatures and emotions by definition are not rational. Most people lack perspective and are locked inside their own mind - or maybe they don't care?
Either way, almost every gambling problem could be averted with little bit of time spent on investigating how gambling works and why people gamble.
1951  Local / 中文 (Chinese) / Re: Fun-casino - first decentralized Bitcoin casino. on: May 20, 2016, 07:21:55 AM
I am beginning to believe less and less in these bitcoin casinos and their bonus promises.

Hello,

Why? Have you tried FUN-CASINO bonuses? Huh
Well he was quire right. With requirements like this:

"Minimum wagering requirements for the bonus on your first deposit - the amount that exceeds 50 times the bonus amount.
This means that you have to wager at least this amount in order to be eligible to take any of your winnings. Failure to do so, all winnings will not be valid."

It is almost impossible to earn anything from Fun-Casino bonus.
1952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: May 20, 2016, 07:13:49 AM
There are many reasons for gambling. Not everyone gamble to 'get rich' in fact most people have other problems and excessive gambling is their 'cure' for these problems.

To know what type of activity will help you 'stay away' from gambling you first need to identity why you gamble:

1. You crave for adrenaline rush and excitement?
¤Instead of gambling you could pick adrenaline pumping sport: racing, climbing, parachute jumping etc.

2. You gamble to forget about life problems?
¤The answer is: seek help with professionals, talk to your family and friends.

3. You gamble because you are bored and lonely?
¤Find something you always wanted to do, beside gambling - find other people passionate about the same thing, make friends.

4. You gamble to get rich, solve your money problem?
¤You have to know that odds are against you, gambling is not a good way to earn money.
1953  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your favorite crypto-gambling sites and why? on: May 20, 2016, 06:54:22 AM
I dont see any site that accept altcoin as their credit.. only crypto-games are accepting atlcoin such as ethereum dogecoin litecoin and other altcoin..
But you can also try the crypto dice game from yobit they are lots of altcoin that you can play at yobit dice game..
But i think fortune jack also accepting other coin like dogecoin .. also directbet accepting dogecoin and satoshibet for dogecoin dice..
I know Fortune Jack's site quite well and to clarify things, they fully accept the following altcoins: Doge, NameCoin, Dash, Clam, Reddcoin, Litecoin, Peercoin, Novacoin.
And Directbet.eu is accepting: Bicoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Dash and Ether.
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: May 20, 2016, 06:43:47 AM
So many misconceptions and peculiar comments in this thread. I would like to clarify something.

Gambling as a form of entertainment when you have absolute control of it and  can stop anytime is not wrong, nor it is sickness.

What you guys could call sickness is 'gambling addiction' called also compulsive gambling or gambling disorder.
When individual can't control the impulse to gamble and is driven by impulses even when it is hurting him or/and people around him.

1955  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your favorite crypto-gambling sites and why? on: May 20, 2016, 06:29:32 AM
Personally I don't really care about altcoin acceptance beside bitcoin as I play exclusively with bitcoin so PrimeDice is fine for me.
And would like to see internal data of some major multi cryptocurrency accepting casinos about percentage of altcoin used.
I bet it is really low compared to bitcoin.
1956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 20, 2016, 06:18:05 AM
Imagine that if they don't have De Gea , they might to fail to qualify for Europe
All Manchester United defender didn't actually do their job , they make lot of mistake and they never learn from it
Maybe they should buy a new quality strong defender

Buying new player is not the answer for their problem. I dont see anything wrong with their current defender now, they just need to learn how to defend effectively thats all. Their defender is atleast still better than chelsea's or liverpool's so I dont see why they should change it, they also got fonsu mensah whom is ready for fulll play next season
Get rid of Rooney. He is just their for nostaliga purposes for the english fans as a piece of a relic of the past if you will. Move on to the future Manchester United!
Manchester United will throw Rooney, because he has become an icon in the Manchester United team, and experience a Rooney is indispensable so that the young players can learn from him.
You mean - that Manchester Unites won't get rid of Rooney? I definitely hope so. Hes career is not over.
He is a captain of the team and he is not that old already, only 30 years old. There are plenty of older players running around.
And tuesday's 3-1 win over Bournemouth at Old Trafford was really impressive game.

I wan't to share some good advice how not to gamble:

1. If you think of serious gambling Don't gamble while drinking. It will cloud your judgement.
2. Don't gamble while under heavy emotional stress either. Emotions hard to control can make you unpredictable, therefore limit your chances of winning.
3. Don't try to gamble when your are in a pinch and desperately need money. Gambling is not the good answer to your existing money problems.
1959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 18, 2016, 08:14:44 AM
If you want to know some more about common gambling addiction myths I recommend everyone  to read this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1475232.0
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Myths and facts about gambling addiction on: May 18, 2016, 07:54:59 AM
I don't believe in everything OP said. It can be true for some people, but OP cant generalize things. Its individual thing, and tastes are different.
In this world, system everyone have some addiction. And everyone thinks that their addiction is better. Well I don't agree with that way of thinking.
Live and let other people live. As I see reality is that people who don't gamble talk more about gambling then gamblers.
Reality is that in every other case of addiction fighters against it talk more then addicts.
If people above don't like to gamble what are you looking in gambling section?
So you people have nothing better to do then to preach around the forum. Find something better to do...

Something better like finding passion and love... what ever that is I will respect your wish. Why its hard for you people to respect others?
So you don't believe that you can be addicted to gambling? Or you don't believe that symptoms and examples of compulsive gambling behavior are true?

I am not condemning anyone here.I am gambler myself and if you want to gamble, gamble all you want. I can't and I won't stop you.

I just wanted to show people who are maybe on verge of addiction to realize that there is line, and if they will cross it, life might get complicated for them.

I wrote this because I see huge amount of misconceptions about compulsive gambling behaviour in other threads. And I thought it will clear some basic lies up.
