OP, to be frank your introduction looks poor and I do not see anything captivating about it. Joining other counterparts, I think it would be impossible to start a review on a beta version of your project when it is not guaranteed if it truly would see the light of the day. I can not review a site or project and at the entire end nothing is implemented or effected.
Nobody would want to waste their time doing a review on project which is not yet launched.  It is more of you telling us you want our ideas to build your project but it would be better you make a launch first so that the inputs of members here would count if the case maybe because as it stands now it is assumed you are not serious to do anything and you acknowledging the reviews would be under probability. So no need to do that when the project in question is not yet launched.
1942  Economy / Economics / Re: Should you save, when you are wealthy? on: June 08, 2023, 09:18:31 PM
Wealth is not a function of savings but of investment. Investing your wealth is a class of its kind. If someone decides to save their wealth then I see no issues with it as there are lots of ways in which one can save but creation of wealth at such stance is what is expected to generate more wealth. I can attest that the wealthy people are always ready to invest if the opportunity avails itself rather than savings, they are always at the helms of affairs looking for the latest investment to get involved with so as to generate more wealth rather than saving it.
1943  Other / Meta / Re: Finally! Satoshi Nak-AI-moto told me why he handed over the forum to Theymos on: June 08, 2023, 08:12:42 PM
Very funny and stupid that a person will build an AI to answer like Satoshi. Do we look like tomboys that would be cajoled to believe such cock and bull tales.
AI things does not fit into Satoshi  bitcoin affairs although it can function in another aspect of human activities but definitely not bitcoin.

At this stage, it would be nice for one to start getting acquainted with AI of a thing so as not to be left behind because there would be a time when the world would be on AI work force. So in other not to be outdated, one needs to upgrade to that point but for bitcoin related and wanting AI to answer like Satoshi, it definitely would not happen.
OP I think they should think of another Innovation to back on or make available more sustainable features for bitcoin that would be welcomed .
1944  Economy / Reputation / Proxy3200 possible scammer on: June 08, 2023, 04:07:46 PM
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is my first time of uploading my message content for the forum to see. I have to do it for every necessary measures to be taken to forestall any ill activities of this account holder.

As  at 7th of June 2023 as clearly seen on the uploaded image, the user as also seen (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3541801) sent me a message which I suspected to be a scam. I had to run a check and discovered that he the sender profile is kind of scanty with registration date March 17, 2023, 03:48:03 AM and since then @proxy3200 has not made any post not to talk of replying any post. I do not know how many people here must have received such message. I just want to let the platform know about this so that nobody would fall for this trick by this account holder @proxy3200.

If they are looking for this services what stops them from making an official announcement on the service board for others to see rather than sending message to my dm if they do not have a sinister motive. I would advise anyone dealing with them to be extremely cautious

1945  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crashino.com Provably Fair Crash Games, Casino and Sportsbook ✌ on: June 08, 2023, 03:10:00 PM
this is one of the things gambling sites do that I hate. A lot of them fail to properly communicate with their gamblers that are experiencing some issues with their gambling site.
Not just you, I believe every user hates this with passion, and it's not an issue peculiar to gambling casinos alone, almost every company based on the internet have issue with customer service, and I think this is one of the reason why having a responsive customer care service have become one of the qualities of a good platform, and one some platform use as a means of marketing themselves.

On a normal day, a responsive customer care service is supposed to be a basic feature and a right to the customer, but unfortunately, online platforms have made it look like they are doing the customer a favor when they respond to issues fast.

They fail  to understand that their customer care service can either make or mar their product or organisation. They do not take serious their customer activities as it pertains to their business growth but they forget that every rise in a business is determined by the way they respond to their customers complaints and making sure they communicate effectively  to resolving their issues but when you decide to joke with your customer line then be prepared for a doom because that is what you have signed up for taking that part.
1946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Self custody will always win on: June 08, 2023, 02:57:46 PM
He can one day decide to go greedy, Bitcoin was created to be under no man's control or power, we should start using Bitcoin the right way.
I think the incident that happened to FTX has taught us an important lesson. the few who still keep their Bitcoins on exchanges are most likely those who trade. and so do novice investors who think an exchange like Binance is a haven for their Bitcoins.
long term investors will hold their assets in personal wallets. and I think traders should also start following it to withdraw their money once the trade is over. leaving it on the exchange becomes risky, and the trader does not need to take any greater risk.
we still have to be careful, Binance can also experience events that occur on FTX.

Most traders I believe still leave their funds in exchanges all in the name of comfort and avoiding stress in moving funds to and fro. I have had that experience too but not this time anymore. I can not in my right senses make such a mistake anymore as it is very risky to even dare such.
As a long term investor, one should be enlightened as to know the reasons behind such action as it is for their own good. Some investors are just newbies as you have said and they are mostly ignorant at times and have no clues how the system works for crypto owners hence their actions of leaving crypto  on exchanges and not their custodial wallet.
1947  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some commonly used crypto acronyms and their meanings on bitcointalk for newbie. on: June 08, 2023, 02:44:29 PM
This is nice. I had no idea about it though but anyways it is all for educating newbies to know their whereabouts on this platform so as not to look odd.
You  know most of the words are abbreviated so as to bypass the long sentences made which I believe everyone here is acquainted with.  Instead of writing a long sentence or statement one can just put in an acronym which is very understanding so that everyone one who comes across his or her post should be able to note what message the op is trying to pass across. So therefore, this thread would serve a good purpose as it is rightly located on the main thread where it is supposed to be. So I believe any newbie that comes incontact with this thread would have a lot to learn from .
That's a great idea; at least, it will serve as a reminder since we have newcomers in the forum, and finding such threads may be difficult for some of them because some of the newbies are not even considering the pin threads in any sections they visited, and as a result, some of them may be curious to know the meaning of such acronyms.

You could have used the forum search at the bottom to see if similar topics have been posted previously so that you may refer to the thread when creating a reminder thread for newcomers who need to learn the meaning of these acronyms.

I get your point mate.  I think that would be nice in engaging with them when they check on the acronyms table as most of them are hidden and very difficult to locate but i think i would do some search to getting them and adding the links below for the newbies curios about learning the acronyms and meaning of the words they have come across onboard this platform. Your points are alright to go by and are highly welcomed.
1948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Self custody will always win on: June 08, 2023, 02:36:06 PM
So I was reading a new surprising news about CZ getting SUED again, this time around it's about US securities rules, I can't say it's FUD or not, but CZ replied on his Twitter account that he never he such invitation yet, how did this get to the public first? Anyways..

While I continue with my reading, I notice few people hailing CZ that he is cool and that they will always trust him no matter what, some are asking if they should remove their funds from the exchange.

As you can see, too many people still entrust their Bitcoin with a guy like CZ, don't get me wrong, I am also a fan of CZ, but I will never entrust my Bitcoin or even my money in the hands on any CEX, sorry CZ if you are reading this.

Humans will always be humans, we get emotional when we feel like, we hate and love when we want, this is how we are created, CZ doesn't care about money that much, he is very contented with what he has, I am saying this as per his interview some months ago but still, CZ is human.

He can one day decide to go greedy, Bitcoin was created to be under no man's control or power, we should start using Bitcoin the right way.

If CZ should come on air to say he has not yet received any invite from them do you not think that there is something going on? Do you not think that all these are just strategy to control the market so the whales could buy more from the panic sellers. Do not forget that  bitcoin halving is around the corner and anything can be done so as to achieve the aim of bringing the market down for them to buy more from those who would be in a hurry to sell as a result of the FUD created.

Entrusting funds to a third party is a personal decision. I believe everyone has his or her own choice on how it suits them. It has always been said that third parties are not safe to entrust funds to which means that doing such would likely make you lose your assets and fund and i believe it  is widely known about the "not your keys, not your coin" phrase so why then would anyone complain if the reverse is the case after knowing that it is not safe to entrust your funds with exchanges compared to what has happened with other big exchange as well.

1949  Other / Meta / Re: 2023 Ban appeal status on: June 08, 2023, 11:30:45 AM
This is excellent mate. Compiling the list in this format would make it easier for moderators to access and work smoothly. I like the way you arranged it, well coordinated and organized but I think this board is not the right place to have it as said by other member. Sending it to reputation board and applying for it to be pinned would make sense do it would remain at the top front page for easy access by all members and those who have appealed for review.

Lastly, I checked the list you have made op. I am surprised to see that a legend earned 1 merit which I think is a typographical error and needs to be corrected otherwise it will be misunderstood by members who are not clear about this.
1950  Economy / Economics / Re: Is risky to invest this period on: June 08, 2023, 11:12:24 AM
Everybody who started investing in Bitcoin for like 6 years ago now, will tell you that the example you gave is nothing if there is a pump in the price of Bitcoin. It is always risky to invest, one just had to take a leap and invest any amount you will be okay with for a start.

You are correct in your statement that anyone who invested in Bitcoin six years ago or earlier has seen substantial  profit , and early birds who who invested a decade ago, have reaped significant benefits from their wise investment decision. These observations indicate that it is never too late to invest in Bitcoin, but prior to making investment decision, it is advisable to understand its fundamental characteristic, historical trends and its market dynamics. Furthermore, carefully evaluate your risk tolerance level before engaging in any kind of investment.

Absolutely, you did justice to making a clearer understanding. People fail to understand the fundamentals of business they wish to get involved in which has resulted to so many regrets. Some people just delve into business because they heard or see people doing do. So it works but for some the reverse is the case.
With respect to bitcoin investment,  bitcoin is still in it's early stage and with the current price compared to the last all time high, I think it is at the favorable side of bagging more not to talk of when halving is around the corner.
I think this is a good time for investors to get onboard the bitcoin train before it is too late.
1951  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Scam de for p2p transactions? on: June 08, 2023, 10:40:02 AM
OP make I respond to the issue of scam and seeking Justice. The government of Nigeria don ban bank from doing Crypto transaction no mean say Dem ban am for Naija here but the truth be say government don comot body for Crypto so anything wey happen to anybody in the course of Crypto transaction the person dey on him own na wetin e mean be that. So anybody wey dey deal on Crypto gat be wise because e no get any legal backings here for Naija and e come be say na p2p be the only source to deal on.
If you dey engage in p2p make e be a reliable source possibly based on recommendations from a notable figure in the system as well. Another too if you know the person one on one e go better say una meet there and then do the transfer if you dey comfortable to reveal your identity to them.
1952  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The Acronyms for DT on: June 08, 2023, 10:08:53 AM
Wow I think this is a good point you made  OP.  Knowing the meaning of acronyms here matters alot as not all would be able to start writing long grammers that can be easily written in short form. I did something of that nature while reading through the beginners and help board. Mostly newbies are curious about these as they frequent this platform as it would help them understand things here
Here is the link to the topic where newbies can easily access the  acronyms and their meanings.
I think this would be of great help for all.

1953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early coins movement ? on: June 08, 2023, 09:48:22 AM
Oh Jonny walker finally opened s/he wallet. Most old wallets are being abandoned by the owners long ago. Maybe they kept it as a long term investment which finally paid off.  I think new generation investors should learn from this as it can be a good teacher or point to learn from. Atbthe early stage these investors bought or mined and kept for a longer time believing their investment to pay back after a long time and here this particular investor took profit not just profit but a good amount of money for holding a long time.
OP your points are quite alright maybe a good follow up might reveal more to the wallet activities.
1954  Economy / Speculation / Re: Opportunity to buy on: June 08, 2023, 09:23:26 AM
So I would advise you to proceed with caution in bitcoin
Aim your investment goals in the long term so you don't have to worry so much about analysis and how to enter the market, all you need to do is look at the right period as an accumulation of purchases and if currently bitcoin is in a downward trend then take some purchases

I think your point is clear. You know this is the exact area investors really need to look at as it is with bitcoin investment and possibly others as well. Some investors go into business or buy bitcoin with a mindset of holding for a short term which is not in the right way. This is as a result that they put in money for which they hope on to generate more income within a short period which goes against the normal understanding of investing with funds you could afford to loose or investing with a spare cash which would not bother you if anything happens.

Another thing is time of investing for instance bitcoin price is currently down compared to the last all time high. If one would be able to take advantage of this opportunity to bagging more bitcoin for a long time, it would be of good benefits not to talk of when halving is right at the corner.
1955  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does anyone still stores their crypto in any exchange on: June 08, 2023, 08:57:52 AM
Does anyone here still stores their crypto in exchanges? I think the best choice would be to move a higher value of funds to a hardware wallet while leaving a small amount that's less than 5K in an exchange.
If there was really a way to check you'll find out that some people regardless of how many times that they have been warned not to keep money in exchanges still keep money in exchanges. Some people have procrastinated moving their bitcoin to safer places where they have more control away from the exchanges and even if something were to happen to an exchange now say like binance that is currently having some legal issues some people will still be affected by it. Newbies to Cryptocurrency and people who were not into Cryptocurrency at the time when exchanges have crashed need to reminded and told too that they are not safe.

What you have said is not different from the truth mate. Most people keep procrastinating which has led to most fortunes gone down as a result of this. Many people too are just too lousy to do the needful. Some often times blame it to being busy why in the real sense they are not ready to do anything about it. Some are even having the mindset that if an exchange closes or being hacked, they would get a refund which I see as stupid.

The fall of some big notable and recognized exchanges should see e as a lesson to all in the Crypto space not to trust their funds and assets with third party exchanges because they can never tell what could happen in the next miniut.
1956  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New beginner on: June 08, 2023, 08:48:15 AM
Like we all know learning is a continuous process so I am not surprised OP asking questions here as this is the only means through which one can learn new things when one ask questions.
It is true that in every platform and even organizations, there are rules and guidelines governing them. Possibly policies that keeps them going. This is also applicable here and I believe from the posts and links provided in the previous post's but other members, OP can be able to navigate through the platform.

OP should not this; that every thread or board has its own guidelines pinned at  the top of the thread so it would be in your own best interest to make sure you read them so as to get aquatinted with the boards very well.
Do well to always attach your refference if you copied any post from anywhere so as to avoid being banned for plagiarism. For instance if you copy from the internet, you can paste the link from the source after you have made your write up.
Lastly, as a newbie here, you must have come across so acronyms which you might be familiar with and those you have no idea about. Below you can read further to learn more of it;

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5455635.msg62370045#msg62370045

I think all these put together would be of help to you in acquiring more knowledge about the platform and other activities going on here.
Once again welcome onboard.
1957  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What could make an exchange to seize users assets on: June 08, 2023, 08:05:19 AM
Most times people do not read or even research on what they are about signing up for. They just feel all is feasible at their end signing up for such and they forget that organizations have their policies and guidelines for anyone to stay with them. After signing up they fail to maintain and act in accordance with the organization policies unbeknownst to them and their assets or investment frozen, they start complaining and crying foul.

OP, maybe your friend must have act against the policy guiding coinbase and their clients together which she signed up for.
Possibly identity falsification, maybe transaction traced to any pyramid scheme involving your friend wallet address,  involving in gambling etc
These are just few reasons amongst the reasons why coinbase might likely freeze one's account. Maybe you should ask your friend because s/he is in a better position to tell you what really happened.

1959  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does anyone still stores their crypto in any exchange on: June 07, 2023, 09:10:24 PM
Hello no mate. I will never dare do such no matter how small such fund is. I only trade and after trading, I transfer all funds to my private or self custodial wallet where I have the private keys myself. So far  third party exchanges have proven to be not reliable and dependable to be able to secure funds and assets of her clients. There have been hacks and misappropriation of funds by CEOs of exchanges so far and all swept under the carpet. Just of recent, there have been a news circulating that the ftx founder been granted bail after misappropriation of funds kept under his custody. There are also other big names that are good players in the industry but today are no more, some have crumbled as a result of their recklessness with customers funds.
You see OP there are lots to say about third party exchanges here but as it is I do not think or dream or holding my funds with any third party exchanges.
I see that as an unsafe act.
1960  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Minepi real or fake? on: June 07, 2023, 08:56:43 PM
I was wondering as well when I heard about this coin called Pi although I am skeptical about it but what has it got to offer when it has not yet been launched, it is yet to be listed on exchanges, they keep using adds to generate funds for themselves through users phone, they have been on for quite some years now and still promising stories to their user base upto the point that some of their users have started complaining to withdraw if they do not launch before June comes to an end. We are still waiting and watching closely to see how things unfold itself there.
