1941  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Mempool is congested, use ViaBTC free accelerator. on: November 18, 2023, 06:20:13 AM
Now back to my personal experience with the bitcoin transaction i made three days ago, which just got confirmation this morning, though i make use of low priority and then try to set the payment under static with 20sat/vbyte as transaction fee, then later i track it on mempool which the ETA was on several hours before confirmation, which lasted for three days, i wanted to boost the transaction using viabtc mining pool but was not going through maybe then was when the fee was still as high as over $6 not until yesterday i was able to make a success using viabtc and my transaction was added to their pool which make me experience the confirmation today, using viabtc is secured, fast and free in moments where the transaction fee is getting higher.
So that means you are saying that we can use static for the transaction and accelerate it on viabtc? If yes then it will be better for us to use but the experience of static is not good and if viabtc does not work it will take weeks to to drop. ETA is the best and follow by mempool. Yesterday when I make a transaction I paid $12.5 as a transaction fee and that was in ETA but in static it was in $0.015. But I didn't choose static because of the past experience.

The last time when the blockchain was congested I used static to make a transaction, the Miners refused to confirm my transaction so after two weeks I gat to cancel the transaction and used ETA for the transaction and paid the high. So if viabtc can accelerate static fee then that should be a good news. But I don't know how to use it.

Eloncoin was announced on dex-trade twitter

Dear lightlord, You are one of the representatives of Eloncoin in the forum here and the allegations of nutildah is not really nice so I will want you to clear the doubt of all alacrity (readiness). Though in everything we do there must be an opposition and if the ability of the company or the owner to explain things to the people and if the explanation is clear then the owner has added another feather to his shoulders. I know that you have tried your best to but nutildah dig more things every day and you are the main representative here so all explanations must come from you. just a suggestion.

We are participants and marketers for more traffic to the coin, thank for your understanding.
1943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is King on: November 17, 2023, 10:45:55 PM
There is no dispute on that, bitcoin is the father of all the cryptocurrencies in the world. When bitcoin came to the world, no cryptocurrency has not been launched and bitcoin came as number one among all and for that the younger generational coins have to respect their father or grandfather. And from there bitcoin became the king in the family of cryptocurrency ecosystem. And another thing makes bitcoin to be the king of all is the store of value. Other cryptocurrency value is depending on bitcoin. Any direction bitcoin follow is the same way all will go.

Some people are saying that it is because bitcoin came first and that is why he is the king of all well to some extend it is yes but that is not the case may be but there other elements that take it to that position.
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Altcoins Also faces Congestion? on: November 17, 2023, 10:40:32 PM
Bitcoin been the king in the crypto world is facing a very severed congestion problem and things are not working well with businesspeople that doing business with bitcoin and small-scale businesses that are accepting bitcoin for transaction so in the period there are some altcoins can use the opportunity to skyrocket their coins. And if altcoins do well in this period, then they will make a lot of money as profit because many customers of bitcoin will join the most performing altcoin (s).

Now a question arises again in the mist of the bitcoin network congestion. Since Altcoins are depending on bitcoin on any necessary upward movement, does it mean that altcoins network also congesting to produce high transaction fees? This has been in my mind for sometimes so I decided  to ask it today. Have you heard of it because I have not heard of it. Or the congestion is for all the cryptocurrencies?
1945  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status on: November 17, 2023, 10:04:20 PM
Nice to see you back again but you make thing very bad on your site. you know it very well that this forum value reputation and good work. Therefore as your casino website was compromised, you would informed the community in the early weeks of the attack but your mute about the whole issue resulted to red tagging your account and the casino. Now many questions will be asked and many doubts are here. Some will even ask how true is this your story? Because this is not the first time we have heard this kind refund stories here. 1Xbit came back with the same story but at the end they still disappeared till now.

But all in all that is not the main issue here again. The main thing now for you to clear your debt and from the story and others have asked. From where will you make the refund when all the funds were stolen?
1946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there fewer women Than men involved in Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2023, 09:38:08 PM
One of the reasons which I can recognized or remember is that women are not taking risk like men. They have soft heart and at the early age of bitcoin and everyone was afraid to use it women were like children that scared to involved themselves in the bitcoin investment. And men who are facing all the challenges to feed their families daily bases were not afraid to invest and see the outcome of it and outcome is a successful one.

But in the contrary, there are many women who are involved in bitcoin. When I came to the city, I saw women investing and trading with bitcoin. Women are there but the different is the thinkings.
1947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: November 17, 2023, 05:46:45 PM
Look at the interface of the desktop version of the wallet.
Mate, this is mega.nz website. It's not Eloncoin wallet.
Okay but I got to this place through the process of downloading the desktop wallet so I was thinking that this is their desktop version of the wallet. I didn't do once but in several time and all the same and that was why I came her to lay the complain. It was from the ElonCoin core site that I got this. There different versions there. Mobile version and desktop and other OS and windows and and I clicked on the Windows version and this is what I got. But the mobile version was easy for me to install and I navigate around the wallet. Both the password and the seed phrase were gotten easily and the address was simple to get.

I will recheck it again. Thanks
1948  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Where you been dey when your mate they mine bitcoin? on: November 17, 2023, 04:36:31 PM
Bitcoin na new thing to me and it was when I came to the city dat I even understand it very well though I heard it in the rural community but the uses was not as strong in the city area. And when bitcoin came, not everyone accept at the first sight so everyone no go dey equal for the industry.

So if I go say or answer your question I go say I been dey village dey fish and do farming work. Because dat one nai be the necessary labour for human life to survive. Until I came out. Wen my mate tell me bitcoin sef I no gree invest because the thing been dey one kind but later when I come understand the thing nai I come join am.
1949  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Why E de important to avoid to de tell people about crypto way you get on: November 17, 2023, 04:11:24 PM
Me I believe the phrase that let your wealth speak for you and not your mouth. As for me e no too good because people don wicked well well. Though wen dem see from you body dem go still dey envy but dat won e good. And only those wey understand cryptocurrency go fit do you something but for those people wey no sabi anything about cryptocurrency even you tell them nothing happened so e no bad to tell them and through there dey can be converted to join the investment league.

One thing we no know here be say even from newbies to legendary when we tell bitcoin to everyone and dem accept it then purpose of bitcoin will be realised because through there people can use it to buy things and uses of bitcoin will be very sweet and interesting. And since Nigeria government stop the transaction of bitcoin through the commercial banks, it is not wise to broadcast you holding of bitcoin because even the police and efcc are looking for ways to arrest people and collect Money. So let you wealth speak for you.
1950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. on: November 17, 2023, 03:35:05 PM
Bitcoin could be used as get rich quick if you trade it in futures, I think many people use this when they believe in Bitcoin and at the same time they want to take a big risk. Since most of them hold their coins in CEX, they don't feel if Bitcoin fee is high and should carefully to send it.

It's not about discussing holding Bitcoin must in non custodial wallet or don't trade in futures, but the CEX give such feature and that make people use Bitcoin like that.

I believed op is talking about the newcomers and those who are judging bitcoin from afar. And as the op said those who not really understand and known bitcoin will think that bitcoin is a get quick rich scheme but when you come close to our and understand the investment process then you will come realize that bitcoin is not something one invest and get rich within 1-4 months. And also not everyone in the world understand that bitcoin is a Currency that can be used to buy things. And many at of them don't even know that it can be used for investment for a long period and have profit at the end.

What you said is also correct, those who are not using non custodial wallet or DEX will not know the tx fee increase because if they need cash they will just sell it in the exchange so they will not feel the tx fee. But the people who is sending to them must pay that high fee. And also those who have been in the system can make money every day from the system by trading. And trading pays instant and if the trader is very person is very good in trading then he will make millions within a short period of time.
1951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How high can the transaction fees become? on: November 17, 2023, 12:29:18 PM
Guys I was shocked by seen the transaction fee today. I was checking the transaction fee today to know if it has come down to the way which I can withdraw or make a transfer but for my surprise. The transaction fee was $21.8 and the amount I was transferring was 0.012 so I stopped the transaction. And as it is now the transaction fee is also unpredictable and nobody knows when this will be over. Though the high fee season will be over but not now. Last week the fee was going down but this week now the fee is something else.

Op if you are not willing to make any transaction now from the cold wallet then keep the coins and you want to make a transfer then you can move them out from there and send it to Electrum and transfer them to LN and make your transfers from there.
1952  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture vs oil on: November 16, 2023, 09:31:06 PM
I think there are countries in the world that doing well without oil. And those countries are more peaceful than the countries that have oil. Oil is not developing the places which it is discovered but develop the places are far from the oil terrain. But those places have the oil survive from the negligence agriculture. So in normal sense. Agriculture is for the poor while oil is the rich.

Those who are rich are not interested in the Agriculture but interested only in the oil while the poor since they could not benefit from the oil they went to farm and survive from there. And agriculture is the best among all.
1953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Start with the little you have, you don't need millions of dollars to own BTC. on: November 16, 2023, 08:42:03 PM
You have said my physical campaign awareness on bitcoin to people. A lady met me one day and Sid someone told her that for her to own a bitcoin she has to purchase it with the minimum of $4,000 USD and immediately I have to reconciled that mentality from her and told that she can invest with any form from $5 US dollar and that should be depends on the current dollar exchange rate and after the orientation she was very happy and took my number so she can call me to start the investment.

Yes many people have that misconception that it is only big amount can be used to invest in bitcoin but that is not true. In my country of you have #4000 which is equivalent to $5. Though I don't blame them because they are ignorant of the ecosystem.
1954  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: bitcoin affecting altcoins on: November 16, 2023, 08:27:55 PM
Overtime i see that whenever there is a dip in the price of bitcoin, other altcoins tends to follow suit by also dropping in their prices and whenever there is an increase in the price of bitcoin, other coin as well increase in their value. Does it mean that other altcoins cannot be dependent on their own? Like must the activities of bitcoin affect the alternate coins at all time? I really want to understand why alternate coins like BNB, ETH, TWT, MATIC,  XRP,  LTC, DOT, ADA, SOL AVAX and so many other alternate cryptocurrencies are always affected whenever there is a change in the price of bitcoin like can't they be dependent on there own? as they are all cryptocurrencies despite the fact that bitcoin is more volatile than the rest of the cryptocurrencies.

Altcoins na follow follow. Dem dey follow bitcoin for any direction im go. Bitcoin na bi their father so im dey guide dem the road. Now dat bitcoin price going up, Ethereum is is going up to di $1900k nai make it u like to purchase m make you buy now so dat wen bitcoin reached di peak den at dat time Ethereum sef go go up.well well and you go make profit from am. Di way the ecosystem dey, na because bitcoin di altcoins dem come out so dem no go just do things on their own like that.

As for me even forum sef I never see am from altcoins even Ethereum wey I dey tok for here sef I never see im forum wey e dey like this one. And many persons no like altcoins because dey too dey disappoint person.
1955  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [ECONOMICS] Yesterday's Price Nor Be Today's Price on: November 16, 2023, 08:11:27 PM
This matter don tire me. Op you really talk di main thing. Person no fit go market with peaceful mind again because when enter Market you go first think and calculate how much you carry come market and when you price one thing as see say the price high then you come dey buy dem half half and to make sure say you buy all di necessary things in the house before di money go finished.

And di bad part be say dem no dey increase salary for di civil servants to meet up with the inflation. Lolz. In Nigeria like this we no get any poor person again because if everyone dey survive at this time then nobody is poor. The prices of things are higher than a poor so if the poor man dey buy then im no be poor man buy na rich man Al of us be.
1956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the Bear and Bull Markets for Altcoins? on: November 16, 2023, 05:36:02 PM
Some of the Altcoins are good to invest but most of us are not aware of that if they are good because there is no bull time for them. And the way I see at them they are just going along with bitcoin. So some of the Altcoins are waiting for the next bitcoin bull market. So my humble question is there no bull market for Altcoins? If yes, there is, then when is the expectation and if no why?

In the crypto market, everyone can share an increase. Usually when BTC pumps ETH also pumps Altcoins too and if there is a BTC correction they will also go down too. Meaning When we see a big trend on a higher time frame, it means that the momentum of the higher time is also transferred to the lower time frame. however due to the strong volatility and hype, buying dips is currently the most profitable trading method.
That means now that bitcoin is on the way to the top and the altcoins are following it footsteps, it is the best time to buy those altcoins that increasing in price and hit $100+ so that when bitcoin finally got the ATH then those ones too has make a reasonable prices.

Though I know it very well that not all the altcoins are following bitcoin from bumper to bumper but they are few. The rest are shitcoins. There are some coins that will appreciate well in the future. Those are coins like ElonCoin, Dogecoin and litecoin etc.
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling DEX Oni Exchange - Exclusive on: November 16, 2023, 05:24:50 PM
Op I will like to know what ONI.exchange is a Decentralized Exchange. And the why you want to sell the "DEX ONI.exchange" after you have passed through a rigorous process to develop the site. I checked the website and the site looks good. But two things come to my mind which I saw in the site. The first thing is exchange which is the core mandate of the site while the second is the casinos. There are different casino games in the site and with the casino games I saw, how do we believed that the site is DEX?

But aside that the site looks beautiful and if anyone is interested can contact the op but be careful with the business transaction.
1958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin.XXX domains for sale on: November 16, 2023, 05:11:36 PM
What are you reasons of selling the domain because you cannot just come to the forum and says you are selling this and that without a concrete reason. At least make some clear reasons so that those who interested to buy can contact you and discuss but for like this and the way I see the domain name and the way you described it, it looks like a cryptocurrency and if it is a cryptocurrency then I don't think anyone will be interested to acquire it.

I will advise you that instead of selling it why can't you develop the project and use it because you can't just develop litecoin.xxx and place it on sale. It looks suspicious.
1959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: November 16, 2023, 05:02:07 PM
@30541 (lightlord), the website does not work ?? I cannot sign up.. Nothing functinally works.

even this -> https://old.eloncoin.org/ does not work.

The site is working but the registration process is not signing up. It always required the phone number box to be valid with a correct phone number so I was also asking myself if the phone is a necessity requirement for the site and what is it for. The form just look like KYC identification form and as a cryptocurrency project which is a decentralized cryptocurrency ecosystem does not need that information.

And since I am a participant in the project I will also suggest some ways to make the project look good. To clear people doubt about the project, let it be that the domain of the project should work smoothly without any break. And everything the clients do in the websites should work without delay. If the website or the project is working smoothly, all these opposition comments will not showcase. Therefore I advise the admin of the project to look into those complains and work on them. And really they are trying because first time when they came the site was down and later it come up. Even the wallet apps and web was not working but the app is working perfectly but I have not gotten the desktop version of it.
1960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 16, 2023, 04:34:04 PM
Let's make this thread alive again, as Bitcoin has pumped to $36,000 once again and getting closer to the 3/4 of the ATH on 2021. ETH is also doing well.
As of typing this, $1900 is its current price and just a few more steps to get back to $2k and I think from there then it's going to be easy to reach the next price points of thousands like $3k on wards as we're about to enter into the bull run.

I am not a fan of Ethereum,  I don't even have the wallet in my device though I installed it in my device before but I uninstalled it back. And in the cryptocurrency ecosystem every active member will know that Ethereum is the second to bitcoin presently but we don't know if there will be a coin that will come and pass it from behind. Because cryptocurrency ecosystem is now a business platform where coins are competing seriously. All are always behind bitcoin. Bitcoin price presently is $37k and is still moving upward.

But the happiest part of it is that non can come close to the king of crypto bitcoin. For Ethereum to hit $1900, that shows it is doing well in the ecosystem. And this is the best time to invest. Why bitcoin is ahead of all the coins is because it creates avenue for people to have bitcoin without stress.
