1941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: November 01, 2015, 12:30:16 PM
only the problem i have bitcoin is that sometime it gets confirmation late. I know its not a fault of miners too but its annoying to sit back and wait for the confirmation to come.

The confirmation can take even longer than 1 hour sometimes.
When there are some stress test or simple attacks, it may take up to 2 days.
By this the funds are sent back to the sender and you should make again the tranasctions.
1942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: November 01, 2015, 12:29:13 PM
Maybe they want to use bitcoin but to get/earn it is hard.
For example buying in exchange they require lots of personal information and lots of verifications.
And i think that they are a bit afraid to submit government documents through these websites.
For my country, the exchange only require the back and front of my identity card. It differs from country to country though. If you use an ATM, the process will be much more straightforward and fast. Identity theft is a problem hence, the exchanges need to build trust or have a exchange with excellent security.

The security is never 100% because every day hackers hack something somewhere.
Well i have seen bitcoin ATM only in youtube and never in my country.
Do they require identity verification like most of online exchages.
1943  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: November 01, 2015, 12:25:58 PM
I prefer to have both. Bitcoin for investment because bitcoin price is currently going up. And bank accounts for my everyday normal needs. Though I will not keep my money sleeping in the bank because I will loose it in inflation. I just maintain enough money to cover emergency needs.
you can try bitcoin for everyday purposes, now there is a bitcoin debit card,
I have not tried it, but it sounds interesting
Bitcoin debit card allows users to load it into the service for the user to use. I don't particularly like this idea though. By loading it, you are giving your Bitcoins to the service which isn't secure. They can run away or the debit card service can stop supporting them due to their local regulations.

Well this is the only way to use these bitcoin debit cards.
Some services allows you to not convert immediately the bitcoin into fiat to use after.
But simple you leave bitcoin as it is and then if you withdraw from ATM at that moment the exchange rate is taken.
1944  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: November 01, 2015, 12:08:48 PM
Just want to say thanks for the latest giveaway (I got the prize $17 and withdraw it into bitcoin without any problem Smiley
One more thing, I have received the debit card:

So wish the best luck on your project

That it great panjul07, good to share with us your feedback.
Unfortunately I wasn't lucky at their giveaway last month.
Seems that the card is 3 years valid, have you tried to withdraw from ATM?
1945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ransomware, the best thing that has happened to Bitcoin on: November 01, 2015, 12:06:33 PM
Ransomware will make people passionately hate bitcoin and forever associate it with crime. OP needs to explain themselves.

By this bitcoin is becoming popular and famous in the black way. [not good]
Since its advertised by thiefs, hackers this is bad for bitcoin.
The hacker couldn't accept paypal because we know the chargebacks and what information needs paypal.
1946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will the world look like in 10 years if Bitcoin succeeds? on: November 01, 2015, 10:35:53 AM
People will donate on twitch using bitcoins.
People will get their weekly grocery and marketing using bitcoins.
And something like these.
I don't think even in good situation it could hit around $10.000.

People will be more selfish, i doubt they will give donation.
Because the price will also being increased by that time.
If after 10years bitcoin succeeds the price will not be stucked there but will be continue increasing more.
1947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $350 during november? on: November 01, 2015, 10:34:44 AM
I see china market want make bitcoin price touch 350 but west market looks harder to hit 350 And now price goes down, i hope we strong in range 300

That's why the price on Chinese exchanges have no value for me. I solely follow the price of Bitstamp and Bitfinex. The $300 price level looks strong enough to prepare itself for another short rally, probably to $350.

I would not consider bitcoin price strong if it is for less than a month.
It has been only 3-4 days that the price is increased to $300+
About chinese exchanges they have good value because they 'manipulate' with the price.
1948  Economy / Economics / Re: Google Ad Revenue on: November 01, 2015, 10:33:14 AM
Youtube is the best way to get the adsense account very easy. Surely they will accept you as long as you have original videos in your channel.

Youtube is easy to get google adsense account.

Yes that is true. Adsense account to get youtube is best compared to blogs because you need a quality posts in blogs to accept.

Yey, as long as your video is original then adsense will approve your account and you start earning money but one try to get adsense account from blogs then they need a quality posts.

Do you think guys that it is better to apply through website,
Rather than applying with youtube channels?
I know that using youtube is easier but the benefits are limited

After getting your account approved from youtube then you can also request for the your website to approve then it will be easy to get accepted your site.

Seems as an easy task but in practice it seems hard.
I am thinking to create some videos(need maybe any idea for this)
And making a website to put these videos there in a wordpress theme, is this a good idea to be accepted by Adsense?
1949  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next target: 260-270 on: November 01, 2015, 10:31:25 AM
Op should change to topic name in price range 300-320$
more is this for current price range

Well the price just hit 320 dollars,
And i think that the topic should be renamed to $320 - $340
But even 300-320 would be good as there is lots of ups and downs, even though it is weekend.
1950  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: November 01, 2015, 10:30:22 AM
About tree fitty.

Actually, I'd say ~200 would be good.

If we assume the price in 20 years increases by 250% then you should be fine for a while.

It's all about if bitcoin will be still usable and popular in 20 years from now.
With 200BTC you can make good money in future
But i don't think that you can retire with this amount maybe 500BTC+ at least.

That's insane. With 500 BTC you will be a massive whale. 20 years is a long, long, long time for technology. Hell 5 is. The supply is limited, 500 BTC is a lot in a 21 million (-all the bitcoin that got lost) if the demand keeps growing.

Anything around 30 BTC should make you very wealthy in the next decade. Just do the math. Only by having 1 BTC you are already a part of a very small % of the population. Once demand kicks in the price will go to mars.. simple supply and demand.

That is true that the supply isn't maybe enough for the future.
That's the point of the price of bitcoin to be increased when there aren't much in the market.
Maybe 500BTC are a lot for now but it will be very large in the future if the price rise.
1951  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: November 01, 2015, 10:27:49 AM
yes ship to my country!! I will order after make some bitcoin

The service is not free, at least you should pay something.
The price of the bitcoin debit card is $17 Delivery via Royal Mail
And if you need it fasted the price is around $50 dollars with tracking information.
1952  Economy / Economics / Re: US Dollar collapse in 2015? (2) on: November 01, 2015, 10:23:19 AM
I don't think that dollar will collapse because it's the first most popular currency in the world.
I think that every year the value of 1 USD is deducted by 0.2%.
Which means that whatever you bought today with 1$ after few years you have to pay more for that.

Not in 2015, but it WILL collapse. The trends are set in stone now, there's no way this train cannot be saved from crashing against a huge wall of debt. The debt grows, while purchasing power of the individual shrinks. This is textbook recipe for an inevitable disaster. I hope that people has been stacking up their Bitcoin and metals game. Anything else just isn't safe.

If it will collapse then when do you think it will?
I think at least not in our generation, maybe after we die or maybe after 100 years.
But basically i don't think it will disappear, as cash will stay together as human will exists.
1953  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: November 01, 2015, 10:21:24 AM
OP is pretending to be millionaire by 100BTC which is pretty hard.
At least the price of bitcoin should be around 10,000 USD.
I think that by 2020 that is not going to happen, maybe after 30years.

If this thing really takes off, $10,000 is nothing in my opinion. You might be a millionaire even with 10 bitcoins. Yes I said it!

Even Satoshi has said that this thing will be either huge after some time or it will just dissappear. I honestly believe this will be a case, one of these two!

Satoshi the master of bitcoin Tongue, yes i read that sentence.
But 10BTC is really low now comparing with 1 million dollars.
Well saying the truth i hope too, maybe even with a single bitcoin.
1954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ransomware, the best thing that has happened to Bitcoin on: November 01, 2015, 09:56:21 AM

1955  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: November 01, 2015, 09:51:06 AM
I would if I get an incentive like the Core devs who are working on bitcoin. Similarly if the job pays better than my day job, there's no reason not to leave my current job for a better one.

Well if the core devs would have the salary in fiat that would make non sense Tongue
At least the bitcoin payments should start from them hehe, i think that even if the salary is same.
It would be better in bitcoin as its price can be increased and transaction fee are zero comparing when you get the salary through banks.
1956  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: November 01, 2015, 09:37:04 AM
yes I earn 0.028BTC from a signature campaign of weekly payments. This is smaller than the previous week Undecided

When the payday is coming i am really happy.
I also earned today, hope the payment will be processed asap.
Your payment is processed automatically comparing to mine which is manually.

1958  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do Newbies (or Anyone) Enjoy Paid Bitcoin Tasks? on: November 01, 2015, 09:34:02 AM
When i first about bitcoin it was through freebitcoin faucet.
So i was really enjoying the paid task (which was mostly captchas)
And i think that yes most of newbies enjoy tasks especially paid ones.
1959  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: November 01, 2015, 09:32:56 AM
If you are patient to wait until you retire then i would think you are the most patient person in the world.
Simply it takes too much time and at the moment you should forget that you invested in bitcoin.
The profit could be good if the bitcoin price will be increased by 1000% at least.

We should forget our investment in bitcoin and wait for 20 years. The price could be $250k or 1 million if there is no major disaster happening to bitcoin.

I really doubt that, if bitcoin is still alive it can succeed.
And maybe the price will increase too much but not to 250k or 1 million.
But whatever you invest now and are looking for long-term you should forget for at least 5 years Smiley
1960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: November 01, 2015, 09:27:14 AM
I have to be honest.  Bitcoin isn't even close to what "real" money means to me.  Bitcoin is so much more than money....it's a movement....it's a community....`it's an inspiring innovation that has the potential to equal out the shortcomings "real" money has provided us.

Pointing out my opinion above, I do spend my bitcoin differently than I spend my USD.  My USD pays for my houses and cars and taxes and bills and pizzas and beers.  But, I splash my bitcoin into worthy projects that might make a difference in other's lives, or invest in ideas that have the potential to generate innovative solutions to contemporary problems.  So, I do invest my bitcoin into some risky projects because I believe that Bitcoin has the unique ability to promote change in areas not possible with government regulated currency.

When you say more than money i would add that bitcoin is a platform.
It works totally different from the 'real money' which is controlled by institutions.
Personally since bitcoin is easy to be converted to fiat i still consider is as a good real money.
