1941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Few Days To Christmas - How Are You Preparing? on: December 24, 2022, 10:40:56 AM
Yes, very good advice.... I apply the 80/20 strategy.. where I hoard 80% of all the coins I buy and I use 20% to buy stuff. (Food & expenses)

We have to support the retailers and shops that accept Bitcoin payments .. or they will stop accepting it. So why not use the FIAT budget for Xmas and convert it all to Bitcoin and then use that to pay for the gifts and the food. (You would have spend it on that in any way, why not pay with it in Bitcoin)  Roll Eyes
1942  Economy / Economics / Re: Car repossessions are on the rise in warning sign for the economy on: December 23, 2022, 09:21:34 PM
People should stop competing with the Jones's ..... and buy more affordable cars that are light on fuel. The global economy are being hammered..and people are suffering. I think companies are also letting people go... so they cannot continue making payments on their cars... and then repossessions are the only option.

I also had to down scale a bit to adapt to the changes in the economy, because the fuel prices killed my budget. Just sell those fuel hungry trucks and get some EV or something with a smaller engine.  Wink
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You think they might cheat at a televised poker table... on: December 23, 2022, 09:16:20 PM
After 911..... Live television was delayed... so we are not seeing the actual Live event in real-time, but a slightly delayed version of it. Some people are saying that some Lotto games are using this to cheat the lotto draws that are done.

OP, thank you for posting this.... it was a very interesting article to read... and as a side note... those boobs would have been a major distraction for me, I would miss most of those games.  Grin Grin Grin
1944  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DUCKDICE.IO DEAD SUPPORT AND UNPROFESSIONAL TEAM on: December 23, 2022, 09:09:40 PM
The thing is... the majority of the gamblers use Exchanges for their Crypto.. and exchanges does not allow you to sign addresses, because you do not have those Private keys. People should really invest in Cold storage or use services where you have the Private key to sign the addresses.. like Electrum wallet.  Wink

OP.... You have to understand that precautions & requirements are necessary to protect users funds.... as explained by the support staff in this thread.  Tongue

JUST DOUBLE THE F*CKING MONTHLY MONTH ~LFG Hahahaha.

I'm betting crazy this month, the first week got around more than 100 tickets. So, I hoping a big bonus on the "Christmast" (Monthly-month) is okay for me but if they have other bonus for date 25.

Not a problem at all.
Haha yeah, it will be a awesome idea to drop second monthly.
Come on Stake, just do it 😄
Let's see what happens tonight since only 2 days left to end of current Christmas promotions.

Well, the guys in the chat are saying that Stake US has received their second monthly... so my guess is that Stake.com will be getting it around Xmas.  Huh

Did you guys see the crazy rain & tips that #n1sonhah dropped in the English chat? I saw a $335.80 tip to 25 users!! .....and other people said that he did a $1000 to a lot of people. (He said he will drop his $5000s in the chat.... if he wins something in the Eddie giveaway tomorrow.)
1946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I found a Bitcoin restaurant in my neighborhood on: December 23, 2022, 08:54:36 PM
I have seen several shops in Nigeria that are accepting Bitcoin these days... lots of Nigerians has posted pictures on this forum. There is even a Gas station that accepts Bitcoin over there.... just cannot find the thread that someone posted.

Now.... the main goal must be to support that restaurant, because if people stop paying with bitcoin.... then they will stop accepting it as a payment option. Thank you for posting the picture..  Wink
1947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no cool games on: December 22, 2022, 06:01:49 PM
Well, casinos make money on fast bets..... a player vs player match up will reduce the bet time and they will get less profit. The normal Slots and Dice takes seconds and every second bring in money for the casino... it is only the feature that takes a little longer.  Tongue

I will also like Player vs Player games... but it should be something that can be played very quickly.... like Crash. I like games where you shoot rockets .... so a North Korea vs USA nuclear shootout will work perfectly for me.  Grin Grin Grin
1948  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Slotella.com Gone Silent - Only accepting deps, no withdrawals to many user on: December 22, 2022, 06:30:55 AM
It basically only takes one big hit to bankrupt the smaller casinos, because they do not have enough money to pay out large wins. Then they start a new casino with the same code, but they change it slightly to confuse people. They hope the new casino will do better, so they find excuses to block people's withdrawals on the old casino.

I hope a lot of us can start a process to weed out the bad actors and be our own community Police to get rid of them. The more people who gets scammed, will eventually slow down adoption.  Sad

1949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which kind of situation will force you to sell? on: December 22, 2022, 06:16:47 AM
I kept bitcoins that I bought at $300+ ...and only sold some of them, when the price hit $60 000+ .....and this was done in part, due to pressure from family members. The forced me to sell, because they said I would regret not selling, if the price goes down to zero.... so I sold some coins, just to shut them up.  Roll Eyes

Also, a gun to the head .... might also be a good motivation to sell more.... but let's not go there.  Roll Eyes I have a good 80/20 strategy, where I hoard 80% of the new coins I buy... and I use 20% of that on daily expenses. (mostly food)  Wink
1950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FTX drama stressing people for no reason | How to stay neutral on: December 22, 2022, 06:03:25 AM
To simplify all of this.....

A lot of people got burnt with this whole FTX Drama and now they are "Butthurt" ...overly annoyed and out for revenge. This exact thing happened after MtGox happened. You had the butthurt crowd spewing FUD and also the Bitcoin haters (competition) jumping on the bandwagon and grabbing the opportunity to spread more FUD about Bitcoin and Crypto currencies.  Roll Eyes

This is human nature... if you get hurt, you go on the attack to defend yourself or even just out of revenge. Let's just ride it out and counter all FUD on social media with facts.   Wink
1951  Economy / Gambling / Re: casinoxy.com SCAM deposit not credited , probably not even a real casino on: December 21, 2022, 08:53:26 AM
I normally "Google" a site, before I deposit there.. using "casino name + scam" to search for other people who have reported any regularities with the site. I did this with many other search patterns ..and I only got one hit.. this thread.

So seeing that this is still a very new casino, people might not have had an opportunity to report this. Until we can verify this, please take caution ...and do not deposit large amounts. (You can help us by depositing very small amounts to confirm this accusation)  Wink
1952  Economy / Economics / Re: A fact that the general public don't know on: December 21, 2022, 08:41:33 AM
The same thing happens ..over and over again with all of these so-called "Hacks" .....  You find that a major Exchange gets hacked.. and the regulators goes in over drive, because that gives them an excuse to over regulate Crypto currencies. (They say that they are doing this to protect the public, but I think it suits their agenda to slow down Crypto adoption)

Some conspiracy theorists are saying that these hacks are government sanctioned to harm their only competition. (Until Bitcoin and Crypto currencies came on the scene, governments had the monopoly to print money out of thin air)  Angry
1953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using Bonus Buy or Not Using Bonus Buy? on: December 21, 2022, 08:35:11 AM
Many of the Slots have "scripted" Bonus buys.. like "Money Train" ... because you can basically predict what it is going to pay out. (Normally 50% of what you paid for it) ..... but others like "Wanted Dead or a Wild" are very volatile.. and can pay out `maximum` every other day.  Roll Eyes

If you want to see what the different Slots are doing with Bonus buys... just watch the big streamers... and count how many bonus buys they need to buy, before it pays out.  Tongue

LOL, this is in line with an experience of mine playing crash some months back, I just had about $50 I felt like throwing away, and decide play crash with it, game was manual and each bet was $5, even though I felt it wasnt possible since I've never seen the game go this high before, I felt crazy at the same time and set the auto cash out at 100x, after playing 5 times and loosing a total of $25, the 6th turn before moving, it got to 5x, I felt like cashing out but decided to leave it some more, it got to 10x, I began feeling anxious to cash out but still help myself back, it got to 16x and now, I become really scared that if I don't cash out now, I might loose every thing, I hurriedly cashed out at 16.8x, and the game continued until it crashed at 307.2x.
Initially when I cashed out at 16.8x, I was really happy, but after seeing how high it went before crashing, I became really upset and full or regret, hitting myself for not leaving the game hit my auto cash out set at 100x.

What can I say? Be glad you didn't lose everything. Smiley

Actually I think everyone can remember something like this about Crash. It is so frustrating when you cash out just before a long way up without crashing that I personally prefer playing Crash on Auto. I just set the target and wait until it's hit. At least you don't blame yourself on early cash out with that approach.
Haha,  Grin, I've played crash on auto several times, and each time I do, I always end up with zero balance on my account, and sometimes even, my account is zeroed out even before the set rounds of auto bets is completed.
This several experiences have made me believe that playing crash(and not just crash but any game at all) in auto bet mode is a complete waste of money because you never would win, and even if you do win, you still will end up losing it all before the set number of auto bet rounds is completed.

I like playing in Manual because in manual, I am more in control, I can decide to leave the game anytime I feel my account balance is nearing the red line.

The thing with "Auto bet" is this... if you bet small amounts... you can bet much longer to wait for that massive multiplier that falls almost every other day. If you time it correctly, you do not lose too much money ...until you hit it. (Every time I go for that, it times out before the multiplier kick in)   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

So I changed my strategy and bet one "big" bet ... on a very small multiplier and then I use the profit from that to play with many smaller bets to hit the massive multiplier.  Cheesy

1955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking: Bitcoin Lightning Network to be used in fiat transfers between EU and on: December 21, 2022, 05:40:55 AM
How is this any different from MoneyGram or Western Union? Yes, the fees might be less than other remittance services for international money transfers, but like #pooya87 said.... they are still using a centralized service to do those transfers.  Roll Eyes

What are stopping them to use their own Lightning hub and doing the transfers without any centralized service? Yes, it is convenient and easier to do, but they still rely on a centralized service. (Rule #1 : Control your own Private keys)
1956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slow down if you want to recover your losses on: December 20, 2022, 07:12:47 AM
The best advice will always be...  not to chase your losses, but your strategy is more focused on slowing down your own emotions. When players lose a lot of money, the emotions like "anger" kick in... and they want to have the last say or some kind of revenge... and that is the worst place to be in.

I also switch to something "smaller" ... to calm my emotions, when I hit a losing streak. If I can control that situation... I tend to hit something bigger to perk up my mood.  Wink

Damn! .... The new Hacksaw Game ==> Gronk's Gems is bad ass!

Now I know the volatility for Hacksaw Games are tough and the reported Volatility for Gronk's Gems is average, but I struggle my ass of to hit the features.  Tongue

Gronk’s Gems offers 96.24% RTP and Average risk level and x7500 win potential for a  Max win, but you have to work for it. The game is mobile optimized and can be played on any device.... so watch out for the Cave Troll at work, if you play there. (Not the one in the game, but the Boss looking over your shoulder)  Grin Grin Grin
1958  Economy / Speculation / [2022-12-14] BTC bear market 70% dip kills BTC ‘tourists’ as metric screams buy on: December 20, 2022, 06:40:57 AM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-bear-market-70-dip-kills-btc-tourists-as-metric-screams-buy

“Euphoria from bitcoin tourists has now been completely destroyed,” Swift commented.

He added that under such circumstances, the risk-reward (R:R) ratio for investing is at its most attractive, based on historical trends from RHODL Waves.

So to simply it..... "Buy the Dip and profit Big"  Wink
1959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just lost $4000 because of addresses starting with "bc1p" on: December 20, 2022, 06:31:01 AM
My take on this is....

A person or group of developers start a project, thinking that it is going to be the industry standard.... and then competition start to pop up... and then people fight over which project should be the industry standard.  Roll Eyes

This happened with old Video machines ...(the battle between VHS & Betamax) ==> https://legacybox.com/blogs/analog/vhs-beat-betamax
1960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very thankful for what bitcoin has done for me. on: December 20, 2022, 06:20:25 AM
The first stage of my Bitcoin journey, paid for my house and most of my debt.. so it gave me financial freedom from the "Hamster Wheel" (Debt takes your freedom... and you have to work like a slave to pay back the Banks and other financial organizations)

The next part of my journey will help for me to go on early retirement, because I hate my current work. (I am grateful for my work, but the people that I work for is very bad)  Sad

Thank you Bitcoin & every person that made a difference to my World.   Wink Wink Wink
