1941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: negative views about Bitcoin always come! on: April 24, 2019, 03:55:30 AM
There's bad and good in everything. Ignorance is never a solution. We should be open to discussion and improve to be a better solution.
Bitcoin is not static and its nature may not be suitable for everyone. But we need to make it as acceptable as possible.
That's why we have different alts for different user groups. It's cryptocurrency we are in support of not just bitcoin.

~snip~
We can see that this years World Cup is going to be a exciting tournament with so many teams and players in top form.
I don't think many teams are in the top form except Australia, India and England. I have not followed the South African team so not have much idea about them.

There were rumors that India can not perform in English pitches but in the last few years they proved it wrong. Australia seems okay in English pitch they I do not see any concern for them too. Having Warner and Smith in the team made the Australian team stronger. I used to take side of Indian team for this world cup but after seeing the performance against Pakistan in the recent series and addition of Warner & Smith tells me that Australia may lift the cup.

Let's see.

India has won the world cup 1993 hosted by England. They are familiar with the pitch and are the most likely bet to win the world cup.
Australia is surely the favorite team being the defending champions and having a new and balanced team.
Pakistan, England and South Africa too can give a tough competition. There are no hopes for the rest.
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is Becoming a Crypto Monopoly on: April 24, 2019, 01:34:58 AM
But that's not their fault. They have been able to address users issue better than anyone else. We as users should try to decentralize our trades in different exchanges so that we would also give chances to new one and mitigate the risk of failure of Binance in the future.
There are many other newer exchanges that are trying to follow the path of binance but would require a long trial to prove themselves worthy.
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is bitcoin one of the most shady coin? on: April 23, 2019, 04:34:10 PM
It's been proved an early miner of bitcoin mined around 1 million bitcoins and there are many theories about the dominant miner being satoshi itself.
Sergio Demian Lerner had made an extensive study about early stages of bitcoin mining and many other independent research were close to his one.
Is bitcoin a large premined coin? Is hidden identity of satoshi nakamoto not just a humble act?

1945  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you disagree?? on: April 23, 2019, 04:12:42 PM
It's good to be optimistic but I should disagree with the statement. Firstly we are already past the Q1 of 2019 and still no sign of bull run and even if it had one, it would not be as spectacular as the last one because a lot of person have bought bitcoin in cheap price and would start to cashout as soon as the price rise leading to shorter bull runs.
1946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Now FREE to JOIN] IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussion on: April 23, 2019, 03:57:30 PM
That was some IPL spirit in the Delhi's game and though for a small period of time, they held the number one spot in the league.
They too have a well balanced team to progress from league to playoffs. But are not the best contended for the titles.
CSK surely is a favorite to reach the finals everytime, they have a well balanced team and SRH would be an easy victim for Chennai.
1947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: April 23, 2019, 03:53:59 PM
Why are people betting for Bran, he has nothing to do with the Iron Throne.
From the past experience, Many of the people would die on the next 3 episodes. But still I firmly believe the living would rule the seven kingdom.
But again does the Iron throne means the lord of seven kingdoms or the specific Valaryian Iron Chair in Kings landing?
1948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Now FREE to JOIN] IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussion on: April 20, 2019, 01:15:45 PM
I don't know what Uthappa was thinking when he was out there at the crease. 9 runs out of 20 would be recognized as a poor display even in 50-over matches. And this was a T20 match, with a target of 214 runs. In the end even Russell could not save the KKR. They had plenty of wickets in hand, but fell short by 10 runs. Yes... just 10 runs.

Hey Uthappa has been out of form since the last few matches and I was surprised he made it to the playing 11, I feel KKR should drop him and select someone else. While KKR batsmen played really well it was their bowlers, and their sloppy fielding which let them down in the end. I feel KKR would have win this type of match on any other day, but RCB had lot of luck going their way and ultimately they got the victory.
Luck? Seriously? Didn't you see their batting performance earlier? Kohli freaking scored a century and Ali blew the opposition away although their bowling leaves a lot to be desired. Their performance saved them(Not luck).

KKR are in a bad position currently after a string of defeats.

Even though KKR has a very strong batting line up but couldn't manage to win the match but till the end, they are fighting to win the match. RCB kept a good score for the target both the Kohli and Mooen played their part to win the match. RCB should win every match in order to qualify.

If you see the last year performance of RCB then you will see same way at start they lost lot of matches and then won all matches and qualified for quarter final, so they are trying to do this year also same way. Even if they dont qualify they will try to destroy the chances of other teams to qualify by winning against them.

KKR are good team but they are not able to perform properly for last some match , but i know that in the end they will qualify for the quarterfinal surely.

No one becomes a loser by choice. And it's not a surprising thing that Virat Kohli performed well in a match. Virat Kohli is indeed a good player. But it's surprising how poor has the RCB performed under his captaincy. It's nearly impossible for RCB now to qualify for playoffs and is highly unlikely to happen.

1950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will win the smart contracts competition? on: April 08, 2019, 01:19:33 AM
Where can I find the data of which of them are having the largest number of smart contracts made and number of execution?
All I encounter everywhere are just ethereum smart contracts. It's something like 99 for ethereum and 1 for the rest of all.
1951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VK Coin? on: April 07, 2019, 01:20:42 PM
The sister techs of hollywood are just for show up. The real technology is now being led by non-sillicon valley giants.
Google was advertising for self driving cars (without a driver) while yandex already has a fleet of self driving cabs in moscow.
Similarly Facebook is just advertising while VK won it tokenizing it's ecosystem.
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICO have Advisors compulsorily? on: April 07, 2019, 01:13:44 PM
I see no use of the so called Advisors.
No one comes up with idea to collect money for a project when they know nothing about it. It's not the advisor they need but the experience and determination in carrying out the project.
The so called advisors in crypto industry are mostly self declared crypto experts who just knows how to attract attention and raise controversy.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency? on: April 07, 2019, 01:11:26 PM
The volatility is a great problem for crypto borrowing. Many P2P sites went out of business after some time when they failed to maintain their standard.
Bitbond is now the only trusted P2P bitcoin lending site which is also moving towards stable coins.
Newer platforms like Celsius and NEXO are too advocating for stable coins as it would be much more satisfying to both lenders and borrowers.
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC price and trading volume going up on: April 02, 2019, 04:38:39 PM
Litecoin is a dumped project. It's founder has abandoned it and it's upto some volunteers and miners to make it stick to that price.
With no leadership or collective support, the coin is sooner or later is going to be dead. Unlike bitcoin which has a working foundation and large community, litecoin has limited resources to survive and prosper.
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Veriblock IEO on Bittrex ended within 10 secs. on: April 02, 2019, 04:33:01 PM
Though small in amount. That was an impressive sale of IEO in just 10 seconds.
The largest credits would go for Veriblock as they were having a good buzz even before they decided to sell a part of their ICO (30%) through the ICO platform of Bittrex.
Bittrex now realised they need to be very selective on choosing which IEO to be hosted on their platform.
1956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers will go after IEO soon on: April 01, 2019, 02:07:45 PM
But the thing here is investors are not going to trust any IEO on an untrusted or new exchanges.
IEO was not started with popular exchanges like Binance, it was a borrowed idea from other exchanges.
For example Coinex had some IEO way before Binance started them but what happend to those tokens?
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc hodling or a dash masternode? on: April 01, 2019, 12:48:48 PM
There are a multiple of options. And you should choose what suites for you. But you'd not regret holding your bitcoins.
If you really want to increase the amount of bitcoin you hold, you can invest it somewhere or just lend it to get a fixed profit.
1958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Investment in ICOs decreased by 5800% on: April 01, 2019, 04:32:05 AM
As compared to the Q1 of 2018, Q1 of 2019 saw a dramatic decrease in amount of investment done on ICOs. The amount collected by ICOs has been decreased by 58 times as compared to previous year.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/report-icos-raised-118-million-in-q1-2019-over-58-times-less-than-in-q1-2018/amp

Edit - It's not just 5100% but is 5800%
1959  Other / Meta / Re: KYC is now required for Bitcointalk on: April 01, 2019, 01:19:01 AM
Theymos is really witty on choosing the topics for April fools.
This forum is based on the principals of satoshi him/herself.
And satoshi would never ask you for your personal informations.
Though if in high demand, they can implement KYC for bounty participants. I would rather provide my KYC to the forum than every projects.
1960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about this method its safe ? on: March 30, 2019, 10:28:28 AM
A cheap attempt to scam people. No one should even try to deposit a small amount for them as it would further encourage such scammer to build better looking scams. Let's spread the words about such scam and let the scammers suffer to pay for their hosting and domain.
