1941  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: September 07, 2016, 01:25:43 PM
My strategy is to not be impulsive when thinking you just missed out on something.
It's good practise to do this but I wouldn't call that a real trading strategy.
My own strategy is to trade only when there is high volatility, well if I want to turn a quick profit at least, and also trade when there is news about certain coins.

That will applied for altcoin trading as they have much price volatility compare to bitcoin.

Anyways if he's strategy really help him in the long run then it's better to stick with that strategy of his at the moment.
We have our unique strategy and we should stick with that, if we are earning consistently using our own method, we should focus on that as it is good to earn consistent money in trading. The strategy that we read in the internet is just many of the strategies shared by most of the tradings or investors but not all of them are applicable to us.
1942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 07, 2016, 01:19:50 PM
Hell the really do it they really hate it because they either has less knowledge about it or have they herd some rumers about it from media or friends

Yeah probably that would be the case.  We tend to hate someone when we do not know everything about them.  When we are not familiar with things we lack of interest.  Those people might not have tried to atleast read or see the actual thing bitcoin can make.

If we are not aware about something then how can we hate that thing? People hate it because they have lost their money in it in the past by investing at the wrong place.

Yeah. They just hated bitcoin because they have bad experience in using bitcoin. They think bitcoin is just a waste of time for losing money. But they do not know that bitcoin is really a great help for every individual.
Too bad for them they will not enjoy the benefits of bitcoin and they cannot earn profit, I respect their opinion and decision of hating bitcoin because bitcoin is just for open minded people and open minded people usually get rich than those close minded people. They want to play safe then let them do what they want.
1943  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: September 07, 2016, 08:50:36 AM
Why selling everything i dont think that would be very great for the people who having bitcoins because why selling all of them if it dont need to spent all of it. Never sell everything just invest everything.
The idea of selling will only happen when you see a great price and you are guaranteed already to earn a profit, but if you are not on that situation yet you should keep your bitcoins and wait for the right timing before you sell, do not be greedy and follow always according to plan for you not to miss the opportunity.
1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: September 07, 2016, 08:44:14 AM
Just to share this,Tristan Thompson dating Khloe Kardashian
RIP 2017 Cleveland Cavaliers
Humphies, Odom, Harden, now TT.
Thanks TMZ.
http://www.people.com/people/article/amp/0,,21028230,00.html

So, can I hedge my bet on the NBA Futures then? I hope this is not true, harden did not play well last season because of the Kardashian curse, I bet cleveland fanatics will use this news as an excuse if the warriors failed to make it to the finals or lose.

I don't get it, you can get any girl out there and you go for..Khloe?
Sure, she looks better than before but honestly she's average and has been with so many of your colleagues, past and present.

As a basketball player, being with a Kardashian, especially Khloe, is such a cliché these days.

Khloe didn't date Kris Humphries. She'd set his ass up to start fights by doing things like having him walk in on her doing naked yoga w/multiple

people in the room and then act like he was in the wrong to think that it was a bullshit thing to do.
Kardashians are not good for NBA players as they will just destroyed the career of a player, I don't want to hear any news this season that TT is not doing well because of kardashian, cavaliers should remain their game and if possible improve more.
1945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 07, 2016, 08:38:27 AM
Gambling is actually not wrong if you gamble  only for fun and do not spend to much or play to much. As we all know that all too much would always be not good.
Yup I agree. Because for me gambling is bad depend of a person who play this kind of activity. If you are out of control then you should not continue playing this but if you know how to handle everything I guess it's fine for you to play.

It's hard to handle it when you're losing. Very hard, because you want to get the money you just lost back.
Yes, ambling problems are usually recursive.
The root cause of your big gambling problem must be your early small loss. When you are started to chase the small loss you might end up with very big loss in your bankroll.

Simply by overall we can conclude gambling is wrong as gambling is not giving us a second chance to correct our small mistakes too.
Even if you lose small or big but if you cannot control yourself you will not follow your method effectively, we should have a limit in gambling and make sure we can only use it in gambling and we will not add to our bankroll when you lose your money, that will start the fire in you and will likely cause a bigger problem.
1946  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 09:51:53 AM
If i find a good job, really worth and have a good futuren on that job for full time on bitcoin, maybe i will think about that, but i need discuss it first with my family about the situation.

i think no stable income in bitcoin, and no 'realjob' at bitcoin except you join a startup linked with bitcoin technology, if you are progamer, im sure you will find good job in bitcoin company.

Yes if you are holding technical skills then you can expect higher income from bitcoins but you need to make  sure that its a permanent job and not short term projects.
That is the problem because we all want some stable income. Apparently, working online cannot deliver that to us because the employer-employee relationship is not really that strong that we can go after our employer, but if you really are going full time then you should learn how to manage your earnings, it is a big challenge buy we can do it.
1947  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 09:40:29 AM
For me it is not possible to earn a living with only Bitcoin because I am not making enough money with Bitcoin alone. I also have a normal job like most people do.
These two together is enough for me and I am making good money now.

Most of the users fall under the same scenario. In my view it's better to have a day job and consider earning through bitcoin as a additional way to earn and make living more comfortable.
That safe for us, bitcoin is good but there is no assurance that we can stay profitable in the long run, our job provides us benefits including retirement fee so we do not worry enough when we retired and receiving a consistent salary is good so we can support our needs in this world.
1948  Economy / Services / Re: [Opair] Signature Campaign - 6 Week bounty pool! on: September 06, 2016, 09:33:51 AM
Can any one please give us any update ?? Will we ever get paid ? Any possible date of payment ? What ever, we need some legit news, please.

No positive news. just waiting for payment as all. still no date on when it happened.
It is a problem when there is not define date of payment, I wish you guys are being paid but it seem they are having a problem in the main thread. If only wasserman99 will update, at least you can feel at ease.
1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: September 05, 2016, 02:45:17 PM
of course im not rich because of it and i never will be, gambling always makes you lose money
yeah, unfortunately gambling cannot make you rich ever and you will never make a lot of money in a longer run unfortunately

I agree, gambling won't make us rich. But the fact that with a single bet, it can change our whole life if we win big makes people keep gambling and others addicted to it. Many people dreams of becoming rich, they don't dream that they will get rich by working ward. They see that gambling can make them rich someday.
of course it wont, thats why i choose to not gamble usually and i think that bitcoin will never make me rich, i spend more money on trading
Trading is like gambling also, so I think if you are can succeed in trading you can partly say that you have succeed in gambling. But in gambling in general it is really hard to succeed and become rich because your skills with just be worthless when you focus it with your time and money.
1950  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 05, 2016, 02:41:37 PM
I am actually about to quit my day-job to work full time "on bitcoin". It is very exciting, however I will be soon working strictly for bitcoins with my employment. This should be a very interesting chapter in my life and I am excited to start working for a dedicated, serious bitcoin company.
Well all the best to you for this and i hope you wont regret this decision in future and earn a good amount of bitcoins as a regular incomr.
But for me i will not do this because i consider this a really risky option to be dependent only on bitcoins for full time income.

We can afford to get full time in bitcoins but the only thing that scared us is price instability of bitcoins and that makes us to think twice before getting full time into bitcoins.
We have no choice but to take risk if we will think of going full time with bitcoin, and my opinion is that people will only go full time with bitcoin when he thinks there is a good potential bitcoin will succeed in the future, so if you quit and you do not believe what bitcoin can do then you will not succeed.
1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: September 04, 2016, 08:46:47 AM
Do you gamble for fun or for profit?

I'm usually do it for fun. Especially when I see an attractive giveway and if I'm enjoy , I try to deposit some amount to test out my luck.
If I'm loss, I still can control my self to not chasing the loss since I'm aware the risk of gambling
I am pretty sure you will have a good future in gambling because even with a small amount of bet you were able to control yourself. That is the most important thing regardless of your goal, may it be for fun or for money. Getting entertain and make profit is good but that is just a bonus.
1952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: September 04, 2016, 08:40:50 AM
since i had heared by many friends that investing money at gambling site instead of gamble is more profitable if admin of gambling site is honest & pay honestly.

Yeah, that is certainly true. That all the investments made in gambling is far more profitable than having to do a gambling, as the investment does not require something or need a strategy. We only provide funds to developers and afterwards they will return our money with bonuses given (profit). But we can't get an advantage in a long period of time, so we cannot expect more than a gambling investment

Maybe yes and maybe no. It depends on the situation because its a gambling you cant assure that everyday is a lucky day, you may lose if a gambler gets a win in streak or the site where you interested get hacked you may lose money in one shot too or could be also if the site you invested runs your money. So be be very careful.

If you worried that site owners might scam you then you must choose trusted sites to invest and you can find few good sites to consider in this forum. All investments come with some risks and without taking risks we can't grow our money so to reduce losses from casino investments you should diversify your money into few good casinos than in the long run you will make some good profit.

I have a feeling that you will skip on this, but can you please elaborate those few sites you are speaking? So we can have an idea about their existence.

You can check this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408.msg16127584#msg16127584

There you will get around few good sites to consider for investing. Also, you can check last one month plus performance of these sites. Hope it will help you to make some decision on which sites to consider for your initial casino investments.

Thank you so much for sharing the thread link fullypak. I am reading now and is planning to invest a little part of my coins to betking and we will see.. I am spreading wide now all of my bitcoins although the profit will be smaller but I do hope that the overall profit is good.

I've started tracking weekly performance on MoneyPot. It's not doing so bad. Was up +1.742% for the last week. Currently up 0.231% for the past 48 hours alone (so almost +2% return in 9 days).
You should be happy with that because you are in profit currently, but if you are making only a little amount investment you will not feel that amount of growth, when you are investing in an online casino you need to make sure you can put a decent amount of money to have great returns.
1953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LUCK!!! :) How does it feels? on: September 04, 2016, 08:37:14 AM
Luck, feels great if you win in streak, Luck if you lost in streak, disaster wew
haha Luck if always winning in gambling but if loose once it is disaster! haha But really it feels good if you have a luck in gambling and always wins butt if loose they can pretty quickly get back their money that losses and it is double! hahaha
No, you are lucky when you stop gambling with a profit because the reality in gambling is more gamblers are becoming a losers than winners. So therefore it can be conclude that it is hard to win in gambling and you can only win when you are lucky.
1954  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: September 04, 2016, 08:29:03 AM
I don't spend much of it, at least not in the conventional daily expenses. Instead, I'm saving most part of it in a safe wallet, since there are not too many places to spend it where I live.

theer are some online shops from where you can buy good for your real life with bitcoin, like purse and shopawl at there you can also order things from amazon and ebay etc.

You can also buy gift cards and then spend the gift cards on many shops. It is the most convenient way now.
You are only referring to online shop in big countries but how about countries in asia, we love to buy online buy we are having big trouble on the shipping pay as the amount is sometimes bigger that what we purchase online.
1955  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: September 04, 2016, 08:22:56 AM
I'm usually spend my 10% of my salary to invest on bitcoin.
Sometimes I'm also spend my bitcoin on gambling only when I'm in mood for gambling ( since it really difficult to made profit when I'm using martiangle )
That still depends on luck and proper timing because you cannot use your martingale in dice games, the actual result is independent from the previous result so you will still lose in the long run, that some convincing that you will win buy when you are in actual game you will witness cold streak.
1956  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: September 04, 2016, 08:19:15 AM
i will not sell it too.  i know bitcoin will not disappoint me it wll reach the way we never expect it bigger than before and ill be waiting for that time it gonna happen.

You mean to say that you will never sell your coins? If you will never sell then how you gonna enjoy profits from it? We are here to make profits and not only to hold coins and miss the opportunity of making money.

well, you can see what he says will wait for the time it happened, I thought not to sell now and sell in the future when prices really rise very high.
That is always the idea but it is only on a certain investor if he can wait for a long time to sell his bitcoins, we are not all capable of investing all our money in the long term because we have needs to settle in a short term, I think if you are rich you can take this method as you will not worry so much of your money as you have a lot of extra money to spend on your daily expenses.
1957  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: September 02, 2016, 11:02:11 PM
Sometimes I have the opportunity to use it paying bills, loading the cellphone or sending money to other people. But it is something I rarely do, and would like to have more alternatives for it.

Same here, never paid bills with it though but used them for recharging my cellphone which is the only option i have recently as there are no places in my place too where i can buy things and pay with bitcoins, hopefully i will be able to do that one day.
Most of us just uses our earnings to pay our prepaid loan in our phones, it is not really that big so that is just the way to do it. On the other hand it is a good benefit if we can see in the future a merchants that are willing to accept bitcoin so we will not cash out our money anymore and spend directly.
1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: September 02, 2016, 10:57:17 PM
just play with the small deposits and never try to catch all your losses because you will lose more

Play with whatever you are comfortable of losing. This also goes the same with investment. Never go for more than you can swallow. As gambling is a negative expected value activity, i would suggest you to go in to gamble just to have fun and dont purely aim for winning.
You should aim for winning, since the other option is aiming for losing Wink
Jokes aside, you should probably just spend a set amount and not go over that limit and the amiunt you said should be something that you're not going to regret losing if it's all gone.

The ones who were never addicted of it would themselves not gamble with big amounts but the ones who are addicted of it would never think of limitations but they will just keep gambling having in mind that they will win something without thinking about the loses they are picking up on the other side.

In the start no one are addicted to gambling, so I will suggest everyone who want to start gambling, for fun or investment, they should have to plan their schedule for playing per day for some hours, and if they dive at that place without any planning and schedule then they will contnue to gamble without any care of time and money and will be addicted.
We do start as entertainment but when we experience loses that is the start where we cannot accept we are losing until such time we were able to bet big amount because we want to recover our loses, and then chase and chase until we reach the level of addiction where it is hard to get out.
1959  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 01, 2016, 10:42:56 PM
Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.
i am jobless and bitcoin has given me a great source of additional income. If i had a job I  still would have preffered to work for bitcoin and accumulate as many btc as possible
How can you consider your income in bitcoin as your additional income when you are jobless, I think that is your main income and by the moment you will find a job that is when you consider it, but base on your statement you would rather focus on bitcoin rather than working full time which is good.
1960  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: September 01, 2016, 10:35:02 PM
Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh

I think I have saved some bitcoins by earning online and by investing from my cash.
Your plan to save 1/4 of your paycheck is a good idea if it does not limit you to spend your other parts of you salary.
I liked to trade bitcoin for altcoins and vise versa but because of lots of dumps I have paused and I'm stucked with that amount for the moment.

Yeah even my amount is stuck in altcoin at a moment and I am in negative at a moment so I am hoping some price rise in next few days so at least it can take me to break even point.

I have invested and trader many different altcoins and saying the truth i couln't sleep well because of the stress.
And the trading consumes lots of time if we don't use any bot like c.a.t but I think saving bitcoin is better as bitcoin stays there where it is, like the clean gold.

Human minds are impossible to predict, if someone holds bitcoin he will keep on thinking to grow them, one who have invested will think when I will earn good profits from it, so its better we stay calm and take decisions actively.
And right decision is never forget to invest, holding your bitcoins is a form of investment so you need to be specific also how many bitcoins do you need to save for a specific period of time so it would be easy for you to make the right decision on the process of savings.
