icos will give more damage on cryptocurrencies market. most of them sells imagines, impossiblilities.
I have never supported ICOs from the very beginning. These are not even a little bit good at producing profits. Even after waiting for a long time, a person can hardly see any progress in his capital. Well it really depends on the project, but lately you are largely right. The time of the really good ICOs like Ethereum, NEM (actually an airdrop) or Komodo seems to be over for now. Most of last year's ICOs are in the red, so it would've been wiser to wait a couple of months and buy the tokens or coins after the ICO. But the time will change on that as well imho if the hype goes down a bit more and more serious projects appear.

Ich hab gestern eine Email bekommen, dass mein KYC nicht mehr aktuell ist. Bringt das irgendwas das nochmal zu machen? Meine PCL sind doch schon auf einem ETH wallet...

With 1,610 coins & tokens (and rising), how are you finding good or promising new coins?
It is becoming increasingly difficult, too many projects are popping up daily. In the "old time" (2 years ago) it was enough to check the ANN forum here, but now this place has become too messy and chaotic for that purpose. I sometimes check websites that compare ICOs or coins or stumble just by chance on sth that somebody mentions in the forum. Reading a lot helps

I won't say that its the stability year for altcoins. Just what happened during the Q1 bearish season that most of us loss more than a half of our profit. And now more corrections and as I've heard bearish period is hitting again. Maybe that stability that you're talking about will happened by the end of this year.
Altcoins had their run last year, it is just normal for them to correct a bit. and a bit even could mean -90% as many of them made > +1000%... The next 2 years will show whether it was the last big crypto bubble or if there will be another one... I am not sure if there will ever be a stability phase... maybe after a proper mainstream adoption, but still then crypto will be very volatile

Since it is bearish period, I'd rather buy Ethereum together with Rippl, Tron and Sonm. I like those coins being stable inspite of the Ethereum with a bit higher price now. I would wait this season if its gonna drop down to $500-$400. I have this mindset that no matter how long once I have those coins, I'm ready to hold them till I reach my target price.
I'd also stick with the largest coins if I had to invest some $ right now. It is adviseable to split your $ into ~10 chunks and invest 7 o them into Top10 Coins and the rest into smaller ones where you are convinced of their story. Of course, nobody knows how the market will develop in the future...

Maybe you could write a bit more about Mona, instead of only posting a chart... What makes this coin so special that you think it belongs to the Top100? I haven't done much research, but to my knowledge Mona is the Japanese Dogecoin (correct me if I'm wrong) and doesn't have any "2.0 features". So if it has shops and merchants supporting it maybe it can rise, but if there's some new hype in Japan then probably it will go down

Fast forward to this date, KuCoin is among the leading exchange we have on the crypro world.
Kucoin isn't bad and I like to use it, but leading exchange in what sense? According to CMC Binance has a factor of ~40 more trade volume, Okex is even a bit bigger. Kucoin currently sits on rank 43 of all exchanges! Has it ever been explained why the layout and design of Kucoin is so similar to Binance? Are they working together somehow?

You are in the wrong subforum. Please somebody move this thread to where it belongs (Is it only me or do bounty campaigns more and more become like comuper games where you have to try to achieve some sort of high score and achievements )

Well 7% change in 24hrs is not that much. Your chart even says that it gained more than 200% in April Are there any news coming for Tron? Do they have a working product yet? I am not too familiar with it, so some more information would be nice. (It is not always only about the charts )

To be honest, I'm not optimistic about the current cryptocurrency market. Because I don't think these tokens are of great value, so far, it's more like a hype.
Yea this is probably true for many tokens. Companies issue Tokens and do ICOs because its a trend, but their tokens are introduced "artificially" as in: they are not necessary to create the product or run the company. I think most of those will become worthless

this is an inappropriate time to sell coins. because the price is down. I suggest you better hold the coins you have. if you have enough capital, this is the right time to buy a good and potent coin. then resale when the coin price is high. later you will get a big profit.
The price is away from the high, but it could also go down quite a bit further. Only invest want you can afford to lose given that case! If I look at the charts I still see a huge gain in the last 12 months. The question is: How many people are still willing to sell when it goes down further

I think we should just believe in the future of the Crypto-currency. My opinion is that this market will progress with time. Accordingly, the total capitalization of the Crypto-currency will increase. So we are tuning for profit in the long run.
Yes I think so too, however we have too keep in mind that new projects are emerging on a daily basis now (after the hype of last year). An increases of the (global) crypto market cap does not mean that individual market caps increases, it could also mean that the number of tokens and coins increases.

ONION Withdrawal and Deposits Temporarily Closed for 24 Hours
Thanks for the info. This is just due to a wallet upgrade though. With all the latest wallet upgrades one has to stay up to date in order not to end up on the wrong hard-forked chain. apart from that: Onion came down by quite a bit, but the airdrop is finished and the development looks promising

What happened to Waves advance early last year? I noticed they came into a hault. Marketing is weak I guess? I haven't really tried trading in their dex but I think it is doing well. but Ethereum is at different level though. Waves must be very aggressive in development and marketing if they want to match Ethereum.
Waves just recently implemented smart contracts and the next generation (NG) protocol to increase the number of transactions. I think now they are almost ready to start a big marketing campaign which will increase the popularity, before having these 2 features it would have bee a bit too early. I am looking forward to the development in the coming months, I am very optimistic for Waves.

Thanks for introducing the project here. Personally I am still not sure whether blockchain will turn out useful in "real world" scenarios, but te-food at least seems to have a clear plan and an area were it might succeed. I wouldn't necessarily say te-food is undervalued though. I don't fully understand the need for a token in their system and why this token should have value at all. (I don't find any guarantees that this token should have substantial value in the future they only say "can be exchanged for services at the platform", but why use the token if "real" money works and is potentially easier?).

The Mt Gox news sounds to me just a pseudo justification found to explain the downwards movement. However if you look at the charts it was about time for a small correction after the bounce back from (almost) $5k to $10k. The real question now is whether the old lows will be held or if we'll go deeper....

EOS seems overpriced as they apparently don't have a working mainnet yet(?). I never looked deeper into it as it didn't sound very trustworthy from the beginning. Yet it has developed better than most other Alts in 2018, so until now I was wrong I do own some NEO and ETH and recently got some HPB (a still small competitor of EOS), let's see which crypto will make it in the end

Hi, I just joined the Sig campaign, looks like I'm the first one. I couldn't find any avatar and there doesn't seem to be any bonus for wearing it either?
