What is the max Jackpot now?
pot is over 25 million coins worth over $1,600 usd right now ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) and i am trying to help keep up with the Coinwarz voting www.coinwarz.com/votingCan somebody tell me if I can win a jackpot because I am only staking and not mining?? People who are only staking do they have a chance of winning Jackpot?? No, you can not win jackpot with staking, b'cos POW(mining) has superblocks not POS(staking). So if you would like to get some, you're welcome to mine JPC in one of several great pools. I tried to mine but my program does not run. Need some help. I have windows and 4 cards on computer- R9 280x. Can somebody guide me and post file which I need to run?? I only run X11 and X13 on dedicated pool by just changing the 4 digit port# My windows batch file which is running in X11 sgminer looks like this:X11(coin is liberex coin)(Afriend helped me set this up and now he is busy and a medical student so no time. Somebody else can guide me what to do to mine JPC. Mining at dedicated some new coins does not even cover my electricity bills!! setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 sgminer.exe -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:8054 -u abbas1.AB2 -p x -I 13 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-memclock 1600 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-fan 75 --temp-cutoff 90 JPC wont cover your power bills either. I have 4@ 290X cards, getting 19MH at 970watts. Power bill is .10KWH, or about $2.40 a day. I get 25000 or so JPC per day. At 13 satoshi per JPC, that is $1.95 a day earned. You're best bet is to just mine X11. At close to 4000Khash/s scrypt you will only make like $5-6/day. But at least it will cover your power bill.

Good to see many of the regulars still hanging around
I sold half of my coins at around 11 Satoshi's and bought it back a few days ago.
This coin is finally seeing some buyers. Many HUGE buyers in the 8-11 Satoshi range on Mintpal.
Hopefully this coin will be picked up and not forgotten.

I am surprised everybody here thinks BTC will be worth $5,000 in 5 years?
My prediction is that it might be worth around $1,000 IF IT survives and $0 if it crashes due to some hack or theft. Its a very risky commodity.

When you guys trade BTC you need to take into account all the major markets such as BitFinex, BitStamp, OKCoin and BTCChina.
Problem is that the USD/CNY exchange rate differs and its hard to find a perfect long/short on all the different bitcoin markets.
BTCChina is by far the largest and should get the most importance.

Looks like the big wall around 575 was removed. About 1000 lots were removed.

Yes the GPUs are free also.

Is there anyway to do a "stop-loss" when I sold my BTC on the "EXCHANGE" not "MARGIN TRADE".
Basically when it goes above a certain price, I want to do a market buy.
I did "EXCHANGE" because I don't need the extra leverage.

Hey is there anyway to get BTCChina charts to show up on BitcoinWisdom?

Let us see if 590 will be resistance. The support that has built up is obviously nonsense (duh). Good luck folks!
Yes it was good support but when it broke it became start resistance. Went short here.

At work we have a large space and electricity is factured into the lease and it has A/C included.
What would be the best and most profitable coin to mine with GPUs. It seems everybody is mining X11 since it uses less power.
So is ScryptN, Keccak, XMR, XPM, ?

Hello
I just joined. I have a few questions.
I want to short BTC/USD.
So deposited BTC into my account and when I tried selling it on the "EXCHANGE" column, it gave me an error.
When I sold it on the "MARGIN", it actually worked.
But I am wondering why isn't it letting me use the "EXCHANGE" option since I own the BTC and want to sell it and get USD. Then buy the BTC back with my USD and have BTC again.
You have three different wallets: trading, exchange, and deposit. To sell for USD, you must move the coins to the exchange wallet. Click "Manage Wallets" button on lower right-hand column. By default, coin deposits go into the trading wallet. I understand. Got it. It works. Thanks for your help!

Honestly DRK is the only one that has the slight chance of succeding But the block reward will have to be halved because there is too much multipool dumping and its causing the price to crash.
|
|
|
Yes I would support it. Nothing out there is profitable on X11 to mine. Even DRK is going down in value.

I am surprised it went back down. There was so much demand at the 17-18 satosi area. Many buyers were on Mintpal

GRRR. Haven't checked the website and didn't know mining was disabled for X13.
My miners almost did nothing for 24 hours.

Basically its in a wedge. Last time it was in a triangle it broke out and almost hit $700 about 2 months ago.
It will either break up or break down sometime this week or next....
See chart below
<snip>
I've never seen the most arbitrary lines drawn on a graph in my life, until now. That's pretty pathetic dude. LOL! If you don't understand what a wedge is, maybe you shouldn't be trading. Pretty common pattern.
