mining BTCZ. Evewrything is good in the miner software. I see speed and accepted shares. but i dont see my hashsrate on the pool. i see anly my worker name. i tried a few pools. it is the same result.

Post your bat file and give us some information about your hardware, drivers, etc... most likely something is wrong in your .bat file, but without seeing more information we can't help you out.

Listen to this advice above .

I myself am using smos.

Four two card rigs of 1080ti. Around .40 btg per day.

I also suspect that the big whales/manipulators will try to do a big BTC pump before the end of the year.  If more institutional/investment money comes in as well then the pump might be more sustained, but I think that depends allot on regulations at this point.

*I hope that ICOs get regulated heavily - crypto needs to get that albatross of scams and cesspools off of our necks to ever see any kind of mainstream adoption.

I was pissed off that gpus got attacked by asics. Since millions of people could mine with a gpu it helped for broad usage .

But killing off and reducing coins and icos from 1600 to 100 or 200 would help.

I would love to have a set limit of coins per algo  two or three tops as it could force more new algos to come into exsistence.

I also am pretty much anti pos for coins

I would not allow a pure pos coin of any kind.

At best hybrid pos-pow

As much as I try to understand how a pos coin can’t work with no mining I simply see all pos only coins as impossible to truly work.

I thiink on Z77 I had max Pci e 1.1 with Celeron and hd 6870. But on Z170 all RX are runing on 3.0 and 006 ver . eitherway, 1.0 is more than enough for mining cards. For Acron, not sure, didnt pay attention.

I have 4 or 5 z170 boards from biostar  https://www.amazon.com/Biostar-RACING-Z170GT7-Intel-Motherboard/dp/B06XDKHN1S

I think  that these boards  with the nest x2g  and  acorn 215+  will be true beasts

This board may do four four card nests. 16 x 15 = 240 watts

16 x  15 = 240 hash

My board above can do

8x
8x
4x
4x

In the size 16 slots

That is like 12 1080tis which would use over 2000 watts

Costly as 16 x 330 = 5k and 520 for nests total of 5500

Could you add one more CLE-215+ in the M2 slot and make it 17x15?

Maybe will be testing slow but sure due to cost.

These 215+ are 330 each. But if each one does 15 at 15 watts on x16r.   Compared to 20 at 200 watts for the 1080ti they will do well.

The Nest X4 has a PCIe switch so it eliminates the need for the MB to support bifurcation to share the power of the acorns.

Inetresting, does the Nest X2G also do that ?

I hope so as I purchased one of them and did not buy the four card one.

Still waiting for that order to be corrected as there is an error on the squirrelsresearch website for my order.
19566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Acorn M.2 FPGA based GPU Accelerator on: July 15, 2018, 10:07:17 PM
With current low prices for the coins an Acorn can help with, all the scenarios I've looked at show that they'll pay for themselves in 12-18 months. Is that what other people are coming up with too?

Can't wait to see some real $/day improvements when they ship: so many GPU/MB combo's to try!

I am going to try to create a contest for the most clever use of a two card nest

And of a four card nest.

I may need to run it on discord and not here.
19567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BTG any good? on: July 15, 2018, 09:06:34 PM
Garbage, sell it and get a real coin like BTCP at least it offers good privacy features.

don't know about your pick  but btg  is at 28.51

  I mine .43 a day  or 12.26 usd power cost is 31 kwatts  or 3.10 that is a 9.16usd profit a day
19568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 8th Alt coin thread. Or what to do now that asics are all over the place. on: July 15, 2018, 07:34:29 PM
Hey guys, I've been out of the mining game for a while. Really, for a while.

I just checked bitmain and the antminers are at $300-$700, wtf? I'm still wondering if I was stoned but last time I remember those were >$1000? WTF happened?

asic builders flooded the market with gear  driving prices down

but  look at it like this

btc 20000 a coin   antminer s9  0.1 btc = 2000  or 1 btc

btc 6000 a coin   antminer s9 0.1 btc = 600 or 1 btc

in both case bitmain  gets 0.1 btc  sooo   sooner or later  they will attempt a pump

to go back to 20000

if I were you I would buy coins not gear.
19569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Acorn M.2 FPGA based GPU Accelerator on: July 15, 2018, 07:22:14 PM
MARVELL2 = correct on fuck risers Grin

As to what  is best to do  buy  a shit ton of these acorns or wait.  Waiting is better.

Buying 2 and a nest  at 330+330+99 = 769 + shipping  is also okay

Buying  02 of these  with or without nests  is hard to do  it is a lot of coin up front  and   a clear picture  is not here.

Ie a 2 card nest does x hash at x watts  =  I don't know

If I knew a 2 card nest did  40mh of x16r at 60 watts I would like that.

as a 1080ti  does 20mh at 200 watts

19571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cpu Threadripper Cryptocurrency Mining on: July 15, 2018, 05:56:28 PM
it is true that this belongs in the alt coin section  since  the cpu mentioned mines alt coins not bit coins.

the thread ripper 1950 earns better then most high end intels

even the ryzen 1800x at only 250 usd does okay mining  monero v7

I own a ryzen 1800x it makes   a bit of coin each day.
19572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looks like the Antminer Z9 is finally out. (3319 USD) on: July 15, 2018, 04:42:51 PM
That’s nice wait till sept to get it.

And the innosilicon a9 does 40k sols at 620 watts

That crushes the z9 50k sols at 1150 watts.

Not competitive in terms of watts per sols.

And a long wait for one
19573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Acorn M.2 FPGA based GPU Accelerator on: July 15, 2018, 03:31:17 PM
@ yankees  I have 12 1080ti's and 2 1050ti's

I don't need to fill the boards

I could do 2 nests per board and 2 1080ti's

I think I have 1 or 2 bitmain coupons that recently expired.

Only asic I’m running now is a Z9 mini.

Paid $2k in coin for it.

Makes on average $25 a day. Been online for 25 days ish.

I’m 1/4th to capital recovery.   I think the next 3/4 will take longer than 75 days as difficulty goes up.

I am mining ZEC and flipping to BTC once a week.

The reason I post this is , even with the coupons I don’t know what I would have the balls to buy more gear at the moment. I admire those of you not being gun shy.

z9  mini or maxi  is a no go for me.

but 6 s9i's for 3100  are worth it.

I am not sure if buysolar gets more power on line any time soon.  but I now have lots of spare gear  to replace any that dies.

and even if we don't expand the panels we will use more gear in the winter as both of us heat our homes  with mining gear for the winter.

I dont see btc gear ever getting much past 0.05 watts  so the s9i's will hold there own at 0.099 watts
19576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 8th Alt coin thread. Or what to do now that asics are all over the place. on: July 15, 2018, 03:42:57 AM
Yah unfortunately the z9 mini is their only item that looks lucrative.

Phil, do you think BTG is better than LUX for profitability?

Yes but I will be Mining it for months.

Sell some and hodl the rest.
19577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BTG any good? on: July 15, 2018, 12:51:34 AM
So you think that it is a good coin and worth mining?

I believe everyone should do their research and come to their own conclusions, but since you asked specifically - yes I think it's a viable option to mine. I like that the developers are proactive and trying to keep it something that is for GPU miners and it is one of the top 30 coins based on market cap, so it's not going to disappear overnight like some scam coins do.

I mine it.

I think it is worth Mining.

Thank you to the donors. of the $250 bitmain coupons

I spent 2  and gave 3 away.

I got six s9i's  all new all at very good prices.

I don't have any  cheap power left, but I will hold them nib on spec.

I paid under 3100 for six s9i's  hard to resist that price.

in the meantime mining some bitcoin-gold

it is forked so  no asic's

19579  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: GMO miner B2: 7NM mining within reach? on: July 14, 2018, 10:29:49 PM
my post on avalons hooking up to the rasp pi controller was deleted.

There was a point to it.  So I will re phrase

max avalons on a controller = 20

I have found 12 on a controller work far better then 20.

so 60%  of max = really good results.

100% of max = more errors.

No one knows  what the max will be for this new gear.

I caution buyers that what is said to be the max  by the builder  may work  or you may need to do 60% of the max daisy-chain the builder of this gear says you can do.

So if you are getting a lot of these keep in mind you may not be able to the full amount the builder say that you can do.

Since this is speculation I will speculate that  50 to 65%  of the number said to be the max by the builder  will work better with less errors then 100% of the max the builder says you can do.

Okay I got multiple  donations of $250  coupons from bitmain  today  I am going to use a few of the 5 sent to me  but  I may not use all of them.

they die in about 20 hours.

I paid zero for them. So to be fair I should not sell them for 10% each  25 usd.

So I won't do this.

let me know via pm if you want 1

of the five given to me I have been asked for 1 which I will send in about 2 hours.

I have 4 left of which  am going to use 2.

So I have 2 left to give away  maybe 1.  I may buy 3 s9's
