1961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 01, 2023, 11:02:22 PM

PSG just lost their match. I lost a bet. It was the last game. I did not watch the match. I'm so angry right now. I never expected this from them. They struggled to win in their last game and they lost the one. The worst they could have gotten today was a draw or so I  taught.
But we move. They'll still win their league anyway.
1962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 01, 2023, 04:11:03 PM
Taking a 7-point lead over their nearest rivals in the Premier League before the end of 2022, Arsenal sign off from 2022 in style. This game involves spirit and momentum, which Arsenal shows is a team sport. I see Arsenal smelling the league title, they are on top of their game. Man City, however, cannot be ruled out.

The league at this point is Arsenal's to lose. 16 games left in the league and they're seven points clear. It's going to be hard as hell for them but I believe they can do it. Man City is going to be Man City and keep on putting the pressure on Arsenal but I believe they can do it. They have to keep fighting like their life depends on it. They are about to make history and we all know that does not comes cheap. This is a team that has not won a league title since 2002. That's 21 years man. Saka has never seen Arsenal win the EPL. I'd like to see them win this though, the last time they were this close was when they lost it to Leicester City, I hope they don't lose it to Manchester City this time around.
1963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current Topic: Players in January Market. on: January 01, 2023, 03:36:07 PM

I think it would be a good move for Franck Kessie to join Tottenham. His abilities are being wasted at Barcelona. He's a very good CM that thrives in the double-pivot system. He's the kind of player Conte likes (physical and technical). When people talk about African players they focus mainly on the physicality of the player which should not be so, especially with Kessie. He's more technical than he is physical. I watched him a lot when he was in Milan and he's a very good midfielder. He can help dictate the game. He knows how to win the ball back and has the technicality needed to deal with the ball when he wins it back. Tottenham would be a good move for him since he not getting any playing time in a Barca anyway.
1964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: January 01, 2023, 03:24:04 PM
I also have another question.... how do you imagine that Argentina, current champions, will perform in the next World Cup without Lionel Messi and Ángel di María?
I think Argentina need to be concerned early on about how they are going to deal with this deficit in their attacking team.

Argentina has excellent young players that can continue from where this team left off. Alvarez, Lo Celso, Romerio, E. Fenandez, Nico Gonzalez, Taglafico, Molina, Montiel, R. De Paul, Lisandro Martinez, Ganacho, Mac Allister are all young players that are very good. They don't need to have a player as good as Messi or Di Maria to win, they only need to play as a team, the same way they played in the Copa America and World cup. For now, Messi is still around and he'll still continue to help them but I doubt he'll be available for the world cup in 2026. I don't know if they have a good goalkeeper like Martinez though but they have less than four years to find one because Martinez won't be what he is today by 2026.
1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 01, 2023, 12:57:19 PM
Barca's defeat made Madrid's chances of taking his throne even greater. Barca appeared quite disappointed because they did not win. and just like you, I also lost my bet.
but quick goals in the first half could not be maintained by Barca. even with the incidents of 2 red cards that had to come out in this fight. looks like a very hard match.
Espanyol with few chances, but they really can hold Barca off. quite a good point for Espanyol.

It's a derby match so that was quite expected even though Barca was disappointing. What Barca lack the most is what Madrid has in abundance and that's how to win games. Madrid doesn't need to play very well to win a match. they just need to bury the chances they get. Barca on the other hand hardly wins matches they don't play well in and they always struggle against a very disciplined defensive team.
Hopefully, Barca can bounce back from that draw and go on to win their games, because they need to if they want to win the league. Madrid has a better chance of winning the league than the champions league so they'll fight to the end for the league title too. It's going to be really interesting to see.
1966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 31, 2022, 06:13:31 PM
I understand why they think Napoli's performance has dropped after competition break that's because Napoli lost the last 2 friendly matches
In fact, the defeat cannot be used as the basis for their performance in the next match because friendly matches are not important matches so sometimes they don't use strategy and the main players.

For unknown reason I believe Napoli would win the league. I know it's going to be a challenging battle because they'll face a very strong fight from Milan, Inter, Juve and Lazio. They're right points clear of Milan who are second. I can't judge them with the friendly games. Losing 2 friendly matches doesn't mean they've lost form. I do believe they'll miss Fabian Ruiz but I also believe they can manage without him. They've bottled the league before, I don't think it'll happen again this season.

I personally could never imagine a legend like Cristiano Ronaldo leaving a club in Europe to play in Asia. But anyway, I want Cristiano Ronaldo to end his career in a great way.

Ronaldo should have never gone to United. It was a very bad career move. He should have remained at Juventus. If he was ever to leave Juve, then it should have be City. He should have pushed for the City moved and not followed his emotions. Take a pay cut and play for City. In City he would have scored goals, and even if he was to leave, his value wouldn't have dropped the way it is now. I wonder where he'll go after the 2 years contract he just signed, maybe he'll retire. I'll secure the money and retire after 2 year if I were him. He has nothing to prove to anybody.
1968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 31, 2022, 02:13:16 PM
In fact, I'd rather say Real Madrid didn't put in the performance we expected for 80 minutes, and they only managed to score after the referee sent off 1 Valladolid player for a red card and gave Madrid a penalty. Without the penalty, I don't think Real Madrid would have won even though they had some good chances. To be honest, the penalty ruined Valladolid's game and the defense went awry so Valladolid conceded a second goal again.

But it's okay, Real Madrid won that match in the end. I appreciate Valladolid's resistance during the match even though they had to bow before their own fans at home. Congratulations Real Madrid, top of the standings for them at the moment.

Madrid are always like that. They just know how to win games. They hardly play exceptional football. Most of their wins in la Liga this season has come towards the end of the match. They are always lucky to get penalties during this period. I can't point out a single match where Madrid has plated exceptionally well from beginning to end of that match.
This strategy works for them and they won't abandon it anytime soon, especially under Ancelotti.
1969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 31, 2022, 02:04:45 PM
I knew this Man Utd vs Wolves match would be tough one. Early kick off are usually this way. The match might probably end in a draw or one team might win 1-0. I really hope United don't lose though. They should get at least a draw. Man Utd can win the game anyway and I hope they win
1970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 31, 2022, 11:48:35 AM

Bayern Munich had to lose Manuel Neuer in the match against PSG, but that doesn't mean their strength will weaken, because they still have the option of using Sven Ulreich and Johannes Schenk. Even though these two goalkeepers don't have the same qualities as Manuel Neuer, in my opinion they can be used as backup options, because they are also worthy of replacing the role of Manuel Neuer who is predicted to be out for a long time due to injury.

Bayern are at a disadvantage without Neuer. He's not only a good keeper but he's also a leader. With him at the back of the Bayern defenders they have confidence. No disrespect to the back up goal keepers but for Bayern to win they really need to step. Neuer is the kind of keeper that can decide games for you. And the trio of Neymer, Mbappe and Messi are all in a very good form. I think PSG will win Bayern and qualify cause not only do they have the better attack (on paper) but they also have a very good midfield now. The addition of Fabian Ruiz to the PSG midfield makes them a very good team together with Verratti.

1972  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mistakes Successful People Never Make Twice on: December 29, 2022, 07:14:47 PM
We succeed not only because we correct our mistakes in the past, it just happens that we did things that would open our minds and lead us to the right path.
Honestly, there is no way to become perfect, even though we think about it several times and it is because we are born with that structure. We don't need to be afraid of committing mistakes but rather consider this as a way to become mature when it comes to decision-making. If we commit mistakes today, definitely we commit the same mistakes again. We can avoid them somehow unless we memorize them all.

4. MISTAKES BRING YOU BACK TO REALITY

Sometimes, too much success might tempt you to feel invincible, proud and even unrealistic. Making mistakes will always bring you that humble feeling that will make you realise that you are just human at the end of the day.

Being afraid to make mistakes make one afraid to try new ideas and new things. Successful people are always optimistic but when the reverse becomes the case, they take responsibility, take the blame and forge ahead.
Successful people don't dwell on the past and they are never afraid of the worse.
Too much success doesn't necessarily make one feel invincible, rather it makes one's confidence level to be very high about little forces of distractions.

Taking responsibility is also good successfully recognize people take that every time

In the end learning from every failed step is essential as it's us the best ways to learn and grow
It has never been a bad decisions to fail but successfully recognize people rise up back to try another challenge
1973  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: December 28, 2022, 11:16:12 PM
Why should one in his)her right sense spend the crypto he or she has it is best one take the chance to get more bitcoin

It will never be a wise decision to do. Spend fiat and if you have enough fiat to buy more bitcoin you can still do that for your own sanity.
It's only those relying on a single job will want to sell that coin immediately in other to sell to get paper money
1974  Economy / Economics / Re: Bear Market most money to be Made by Bears and shorts on: December 28, 2022, 11:08:22 PM
Not just during bears markets and bull market brings both money and loss

During the latest binance setback over not being genuine they made so much profit as a result of people panic selling Cryptocurrencies they have in there possession.
Profits are also made when the bull arrives those who bought low will see an increase in what they've achieved saving.

Haaland is such a beast that he continues from where he left in the Premier League. He scored the relieving goal for his team 10 minutes ago and they are 2-0 ahead now. It is his 19th goal in the league also by the way. It is unbelievable that he has reached this amount even before the end of the first half of the season. I wonder if we can see at least 40 goals from him until the end of the season. Who knows maybe it will be even more than that depending on how focused he will be in every match.

While I was making the post he scored another goal and it is 3-0 now.  Cheesy  I really have no more words to say about him. He is such a special striker that Manchester City are so lucky to have him.

Arsenal currently having some waisted efforts display

The Premier League should he handed over to Manchester City immediately

Erling Haaland has no match when it comes to scoring those goals and making those cut in runs, Grealish was part of the win also double assist.
1976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your experience with bitcoin in 2022 and your expectations come 2023. on: December 28, 2022, 10:33:06 PM
It hasn't been smoothly running for anyone this year has it?

Unfortunately if the bear continues next year then the plans remains the same stack all of those little Bitcoins and don't panic sell.
It is also extremely dangerous to use exchanges as a medium for the storage of your bitcoin, you're at the risk of loosing them now or later.

2023 it's either you buy bitcoins for your own self custody or you find the government and banks stealing trampling on your money in a means best know to themselves alone.
1977  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to avoid future losses in crypto on: December 28, 2022, 08:08:15 PM
Avoid investing with borrowed funds and nothing like having total knowledge of the project you are going into

Becoming a long term holder, before you buy your first crypto, ensure you set your mind to become a longer-term Holder
Lastly staying of exchnages will help this are the major ways people make losses in crypto.
1978  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid running into financial ruin this Christmas! on: December 27, 2022, 03:55:41 PM
It's not just wise to spend foolishly during the festival periods not just it but at all times but people tend to show off buy things that aren't worth getting.
Avoid showing off especially when with has to gifting distance friends and relatives expensive commodities.
January tends to be very long and hard mostly bills to sort and investment to make why waist em all when you have nothing coming back in return. Do not forget to spend lesser than what you earn
1979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone ever lost bitcoins before? on: December 27, 2022, 02:27:14 PM
It mustn't be Bitcoin at all times at time paper fiat currencies are lost and you can't forgive your self for being so careless.

Since it's something of value to everyone it is sure going to hurt the person it's almost as someone lossing his family friend.
I loss some though but alot of Bitcoin has also been lost to exchanges lately both long term holders and pensioners and holiday planners
That alone shouldn't sound good, have you also lost any of your bitcoin share yours
1980  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will there ever be any safe centralised exchange ? on: December 27, 2022, 02:20:00 PM
There will never be a safe centralized exchnage that's the direct answer

No matter the promises and prove they might claim to have please kindly run away
An exchange that gives power to owners to control your money steal it gets prolonged court cases and finally gets bailed for stealing? With enough evidence?
This should be a warning to those who still choose to make use of Coinbase and all others
