No I don't wait all the time for my stop loss to hit. I do admit that I have made a wrong entering order when I see it and in those cases, I don't wait for the market to eat up my money because I want to wait for stop loss to be professional. For example when the price dropped to $30,000 last two months, the investors who sold at ATH had the opportunity to rebuy more from the profit they made already and now the price has climbed above $50000 which is a clear $20,000 difference in profit and good kind of return. I think the fear or panic of holders who don't sell is simply because they don't know if they sell if price will go up more, I do have this fear on my own aspect too.. On the whole it is a risk that can profit us if we are lucky.

This can be a good reason for OP to avoid futures market for now while you can put your hands on spot and later try futures because you need adequate emotional balance to be able to cope with such go avoid heart attack when price drop largely. Hodling on to your coins and expecting to dump when price appreciate is better. The bottom has actually disappeared from my view and now price is selling above $50,700 with more bull run on sight. The hourly chart has been defeated and price action still building up. Op you didn't really mention if capital was the challenge or learning how to do the trading. IMO learning how to do the trading is far more important than capital.
