1961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a good idea? on: May 25, 2018, 03:02:50 PM
I don't think your title and content match, I think you're talking about is "investing to BTCitcoin a good idea?", all I can say is DO NOT carelessly invest to anything just because someone told you so or some article saying BTCitcoin 100% moon, but invest at your own risk. Invest only to BTCitcoin if you know how to explain what BTCitcoin really is.
I got lost too with the topic. Even asking that question if bitcoin is a good idea or not now is late at this time. Don't you believe so too? There is nothing much we or anyone can do now to stop what bitcoin is or doing right now. I know there are many who are not happy with bitcoin but they can't kill bitcoin.
1962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dear ICO Teams, Stop Offering High Presale Bonuses on: May 25, 2018, 05:54:19 AM
Nearly every single ICO is dumping at 10x lower than ICO price recently, apart from Credits which is the on exception I can think of. This is due to presale investors dumping their tokens. The practice of giving such favourable returns to presale investors will eventually lead to retail consumers no longer participating in ICOs, since they will always get dumped on. This practice needs to end.
Thank you for pointing this out. You are very correct and this is now a big issue for those participating in icos. There is easy dumping now than it was last year. Those who have the bonus quickly sell even at a loss to the entry price at ICO. May be in general the free bonuses is not a good idea. Even the stakes acquired at bounties also contribute to this price fall.
1963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit? on: May 25, 2018, 04:56:58 AM
You are quoting a Central bank Governor as if he is a person that really cares about people, not about his bank only. Of course, crypto brings risk. And the highest risk it brings to banks and all the government sector, that is what he is worried about.
There is nothing that is wrong quoting a man for something relevant he has said to your discussion. What the central bank governor said is correct. Crypto is a high risk investment and most times it does not end well for who invest in it. You gat to be very careful with it.
1964  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We had big three buying oportunities in last 6 months ! on: May 24, 2018, 06:26:20 PM
1. First one was 6th February. (BTC around $5800 and market cap around 280b)
2.Second one was around April first week. (BTC around $6500 andmarket cap around 255b)
3. Third one "now". I think this is another opportunity who missed last two. I think we can see the price around ($6800 to $7100, just my opinion)

Good news that, we are making lower high each of these stages. One day chart shows we do not have much momentum to deep much lower.

This is best time to buy bitcoin, who had lost the chance earlier. If you have bitcoin, you have to hold it .If you want money in any emergency cases ,you can sell bitcoin.Because it is just a money and not other than that.We can earn that anytime. But if your wealth had lost, everything is lost.
You can not for sure say it is the best time to buy in. The market can still fall below what it is now except a good news comes that can make things look well for bitcoin. But to say the truth like someone stated above, this is not a bad time to buy. This also should not be only about bitcoin. We can also focus on buying the other coins too.
1965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trade safely without any loss on: May 24, 2018, 01:30:20 PM
Trading safely is key but without any losses is  a myht only if you choose to buy then ignore that is the only way to trade without loss. Safety is key and it's basic from the exchange site you choose to trade, to the type of coins you want to trade, down to how you withdraw but the greatest security anyone can engage in is to ensure not to put all of your resources on an online exchange the moment you have done that , you have compromised on any level of security.
It is great myth to believe there is a way to trade without making losses. No trader can do that. Every traders takes some loss from time to time. No one here even the legendary members can claim that. The only difference between traders is that some make more good trades than bad trades. Mistakes of analysis is there for everyone to make. No perfect trader.
1966  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can reduce the risk of your portfolio on: May 24, 2018, 10:55:26 AM

This is where bitcoin comes in.

Bitcoin is a new asset class with high returns, non-correlated to any other assets.
In all you talked about I agreed. But not with the bitcoin. I do not believe that bitcoin gives high returns always. What about the high risk involved. Did you also calculate that risk that not so many people like bitcoin because of that and the case of volatility?
1967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hello crypto! Bye bye credits? on: May 24, 2018, 09:58:02 AM
i have never considered about loan in crypto, seem like difficult and hard to process.
It is not that difficult to process. You will need to provide a collateral to be able to access the loan just like what is done in the banking sector. There is a section of this forum called Lending, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=65.0, that is into that. But the problem is that if you default in repayment on time your account will be painted red.
1968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Africa Kidnappers demands Ransom in Bitcoin to free teenager on: May 24, 2018, 09:43:40 AM
A criminal gang in South Africa who kidnapped a teenage boy on Sunday are demanding a ransom in bitcoin crytocurrency of nearly $120,000, police said.

http://www.africanews.com/2018/05/23/south-africa-kidnappers-demand-ransom-in-bitcoin-to-free-teenager
How will such news affect critics view of bitcoins?
This is not the first time we have read about this kind of happening online. Sometime last year it was about a Spanish who was also held to ransom and bitcoin demanded. This is a dangerous development and it will continue to give bitcoin a bad name.
1969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos mining vs. bounty campaigns on: May 23, 2018, 10:46:13 PM
In bounty campaigns you only spend time doing the task and then get paid at the end but in mining you get to spend time and money mining. At the end not everybody can afford the mining expenses. I think campaigns are better than mining when you consider the reward vs stress and expenses ratio.
1970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Again, Bitcoin described as a Bubble. on: May 23, 2018, 07:54:59 PM
Bitcoin always becomes a bubble whenever the prices drives down but becomes the rave of the moment or makes the world go 'crazy' because of addiction to it. It is either here or there. People will not stop spreading lies about bitcoin. Whatever they gain attempting to kill bitcoin is left for them.
1971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong hands VS Weak hands, who will win? on: May 23, 2018, 04:49:20 PM
The strong hand should win but not all the time. The market need the weak hands to circulate well. Whstbis a business when you can't buy and sell? The holders do not do much for any business or coin to stabilize it. Strong hands are good and weak hands are also good. It is for the traders to watch and know what to do with the situation.
1972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is going on in the market? on: May 23, 2018, 04:11:29 PM
There is nothing wrong going on in the market right now. What we see is a manifestation of the instability and volatility of the cryptocurrency market. Who knows, there can be a time when the market will be less volatile and then we can easily forecast the future prices of these coins.
1973  Economy / Economics / Re: What if all the governments of the country united to strictly prohibit the exist on: May 23, 2018, 06:09:58 AM
What if they don't ban it where will that take you? We can stop worrying about things like this that we can't control. Let nature and the economists take control. That is the way I see this but I know all the governments can not ban bitcoin. This is not possible.
1974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I go for? on: May 23, 2018, 04:40:24 AM
I want to invest  $500 in crypto market. I have studied a little bit about the market. As I am not experienced in this sector, I am a little bit confused where should I invest?
I know my capital is too little.
Would it be wise to invest in Alt coins?
Or should I go for the ICOs?
No, $500 is not a small amount to start with trading or investing. I have heard of traders who started with less but came up big. ICOs are risky and mostly scammers. Don't start there unless you want to loose your money. Check the top 50 coins from the coinmarket and make your choose. Don't go investing on bitcoin and etherum alone.
1975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook appointed David Marcus to explore Blockchain on: May 22, 2018, 09:05:22 PM
Binance's CEO Zhao Chang Peng told at Newyork seminar, every platform such as facebook, instagram etc. gonna have their own crypto currency. I believe in this way too. They gonna invent their blockchain and use their currency.
This will be great if it comes. Cryptocurrency needs all this social media sites to make some more progress. With Facebook coming onto Cryptocurrency, it will bring more awareness and  bitcoin will be more scarce to acquire and price will go to moon.
1976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solareum on CoinGecko! on: May 22, 2018, 04:26:13 PM
All this coins with their funny sounding names. There so many now all over the place. What is Solareum? But you can tell us about your coin instead of spam the forum with link and no comment at all.
1977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran And Russia Considers Using Cryptocurrency to avoid US Bank! on: May 22, 2018, 07:28:10 AM
This will be interesting to watch. And with the renewed sanctions in Iran, it is a event that will expose so many international bitterness from countries that hate the USA. Let us see what happens now.

Interesting.....

Given the potential upcoming US trade wars, I think a number of companies will be looking to move away from the dollar, and crypto seems perfectly poised to take over.
The China and USA trade war has resolved. No more war on that.
1978  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Reasons Why Many Families Are Feeling Extreme Financial Stress on: May 22, 2018, 06:08:00 AM
I think the difficulty for families feeling extreme financial stress arises from the fact of families doing only one paid job. No matter the pay package it is going to be difficult for a family to survive. Also, the size of a family is also a factor for this. A family of 2 will survive better on $500 than a family of 5.
1979  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: May 21, 2018, 07:40:39 PM
For my country, the economy is not all that good and if I’m giving a chance to leave the country for good, man I will do it without looking back, cause the country’s economy is not in a way I like it. There are not enough jobs and there are not enough opportunities, everything is limited and you can hardly get what you want. There are lots of people who work hard every day but never get what they want, only those who are rich can easily achieve anything by taking advantage of the poor ones which is really a bad thing, and a sad one too.
I can feel your pains but running is not going to be any better or solve your problems. It is not better for any country. And again the country you are running to also have their own problems. So man, you have to stay in your country and see how you can help out to better the economy.
1980  Other / Politics & Society / Re: OBAMA was the best President in the world on: May 19, 2018, 07:12:19 AM
Obama is the same guy who increased the American federal debt by $10 trillion, right? I am surprised that so many people are still having a good opinion about him. I couldn't list a single significant achievement of Obama during all the 8 years.
I was thinking the same like you too on the debt. But that does not mean he didn't do anything at all right. He brought obamacare to Americans and gave the gay community their right.
