1961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 16, 2022, 12:21:21 PM
I think it will be another drama for Dortmund because I think they will still hold Bellingham in the same way as when Haaland was in Dortmund.
They won't be in a rush to let go of their young players especially when the price isn't really to their liking.
Every season Dortmund seems to be busy with drama of potential young players lol.
Dortmund have made good transfers in the last years and these players have developed brilliant so that they could sell them for a lot more money. Look at Jadon Sancho, bought for 21 million euros and sold for 85 million. Erling Haaland the same. Bellingham will maybe be the next one. Dortmund has good coaches and they can get more out of many players. That bringt a lot of money in the last few years.
1962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Luxury resort, Palazzo Versace Dubai now accepts BTC on: September 16, 2022, 12:13:05 PM
Behind a company or a service provider there is usually a person, or several people, who make such a decision. If one of them likes cryptocurrencies and understands what Bitcoin is and can be, he naturally wants to increase his Bitcoin holdings with his service. I don't find that decision is difficult, what is more difficult is to pay taxes. I mean: The person behind the luxury resort, Palazzo Versace in Dubai, is someone who finds Bitcoin positive and this is an easier waay for Bitcoin. And maybe great guy/woman.
1963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 15, 2022, 06:11:55 AM
Manchester City nicely got themselves 3 points in match against Borussia Dortmund. Especially right after Dortmund scored their first goal in second half, match became far more competitive and enjoyable to watch. Manchester City is generally seen in top but, not seen as the #1 biggest favorite in champions league yet they are going great both league and champions league. And they prove they have very capable players like Haaland.
A game like this also shows that if you give away one of your best players, he will come back and score a goal agian you. You can't put a price for the goal, but 1 point in the champions league group can make the difference at the end. Kopenhagen and Sevilla are Teams they can beat, but who knows how it will look at the end of the 6 matches.
1964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 14, 2022, 07:44:34 PM
Manchester City is in need of the champions league trophy.
They have never won it. And in the 2021 final, it was close, but still never won. The team this year has the quality for it and Pep wanting it for so long. The way is long, I would like to see them win it. I hope they will win the game against Dortmund today. But now it is just boring.
1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 14, 2022, 10:32:11 AM
Erling Haaland is already dubbed the new Christiano Ronaldo for his pace, height and ability to score many goals, just 6 weeks into the league and Haaland has ten goals already, Manchester City spent a lot of money to acquire the signature of Haaland, It will be difficult to compete with a player like Haaland for the league's top scorer and it will be no surprise to see Haaland winning the Champions league with Manchester City.
A lot of money is right, but a lot of money does not always bring success. He's a guy who stays calm and doesn't let himself be manipulate by all the fame. And he is not from Brazilia, Italia, Spain, maybe the people from this culture could drive this situation in a poorer performance. He is from norway and most of them love their country and they are very friendly and helpful. I'm sure he learned that as a child and now he's letting himself do it. I don't think he will present himself as the best, like Ronaldo.
1966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 14, 2022, 10:16:38 AM
I haven't seen Lewandowski showing this much bad performance since the beginning of the season. Actually he was really trying but he was so bad at finishing. Especially one of his attempts was an absolute goal chance but the ball went right above the upper goal post. Pedri also had a very clear opportunity but he targeted the goal post after a great give and go. Bayern Munich were as usual. The first goal helped them start playing better and the second one came very quickly. Barcelona are still very unlucky against them but I hope they will win the game in Camp Nou.
Both Goalgetter are played not good in the game. Lewandoski and Mane didn't have a good day, they must have been stressing a lot because it was a very important game. Both of them didn't perform well. That's why other players were able to show themselves, and at FC Bayern there were many who played really good. Musiala played so nice, he didn't score a goal, but he was involved in both and won many duels.

1967  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: September 14, 2022, 10:07:30 AM

Also Seit mittlerweile knapp 3 Monaten in der Range.

1968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC dumps on high inflation report.. on: September 13, 2022, 08:39:01 PM
The fear of losing money (Bitcoin) is probably even higher than the cleverness. Many are worried about the cost of electricity and gas. The additional costs are rising and many can't afford it and are tapping into their cash reserves. Investments maybe more stopped or temporarily suspended to wait for the winter.

This is the exact opposite of what Bitcoin is supposed to do..
Has Bitcoin strayed too far from its purpose?

Example: In Turkey, inflation is +70% and the currency where accepted by the people there is dollars and euros, unfortunately not Bitcoin which should be.

1970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan with Bitcoin? on: September 12, 2022, 07:49:03 PM
My plan with Bitcoin: I would explain it to my loved ones and give it to them as a gift. I want them to continue my story until the last block is mined. I want them to be able to tell my experiences when all the coins have been created in about 2140 and they have the chance to experience it. I will not be able to do that. That is my plan and I hope you, my darling, read this many years from now and I am proud that you are doing it for me. In Love, your Daddy.
1971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 12, 2022, 02:20:24 PM
Erling Haaland, the Ronaldo & Messi replacement. Maybe each of us can imagine the new Ballon d'Or nomination and if Haaland continues and he will successful in the Premier League and Champions League, he will win this. There is only one who stands in his way and that is Lewandoski. But Haaland is over 10 years younger and hopefully he will get better from year to year. Now 6 Matches an 10 goals, ohyes.
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 12, 2022, 11:36:43 AM
It's official. Diego Costa go to Wolverhampton Wanderers. He has passed the trial training and now got a contract for one year. He is planned as a replacement for Kalajdzic. He got injured for a longer time, so Diego had to come so fast. For all a good deal. Diego Costa had no club and now he is happy to play again in the Premier League against. He will meet old friends.

1974  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 9/11 - Who do not forget. R.I.P. on: September 12, 2022, 06:28:58 AM
We must also not forget the thousands of Afghan civilians who died as a result of the US invasion of Afghanistan, which was the result of those attacks, even though bin Laden was not an Afghan citizen, and neither was the Taliban a party to the 9/11 attacks. The regime of an independent state has been overthrown and thousands of innocent people have been killed, far more than those who died on September 11th.

We should also not forget the thousands of innocent people around the world who died as a result of US military operations that claim to be chasing Al-Qaeda, which was involved in the September 11 attacks. These operations took place in many places around the world, apart from Afghanistan (Pakistan, Yemen, Iraq...).

Good that you write that and it will definitely have something to do with it. We will never know, I think, but it is wrong that something like this happened. All the people should never have gone like that, no matter in which country. From negative usually arises even more negative and small children know that. The problem may be greed?
1975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin price important? on: September 12, 2022, 06:21:15 AM
but if bitcoin is going to become more mainstream then sellers are going to need to start quoting their prices for their products in btc, not fiat. if we're always going to think of bitcoin as just representing us dollars for example then what's the point of bitcoin?
Theay can start their prices in btc, but it will always be a question of legalization. And I think "more mainstream" is not enough, they could do that right now, there are a lot of ways to do it.

why do we need to check what something is worth ? why can't bitcoin tell us what something is worth?
The understanding of this with a hardcut i don't think will happen, that would be impossible. The process will take many years and then you will develop a new sense for prices of a new currency.

one world one currency, what's wrong with that?
Nothing from mine. How do you think the dictators in those countries would respond?

what if i just stay in my own country and don't care. wouldn't it make things easier if every country just adopted bitcoin as their native currency?
It would be so much easier if people could decide more freely what they want. There are a lot of rules that make it more difficult. More we plan, more things go wrong.
1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 11, 2022, 09:32:32 AM
An improtant victory for milan and napoli today which will keep them on that first position for now with the same number of points but atalanta team has the chance to dethrone them and they will have an easy home game against cremonese.
Important victory, that's true. But Napoli and Milan will watch today how Atalanta Bergamo wins against US Cremonese and gets 3 points. This will put them on 1st place with a lead by 2 points. The odds on Bergamo to win are x1.3. In less than 60 minutes it starts. Bergamo is playing at home and has not lost in the last 5 games.
1977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin price important? on: September 11, 2022, 09:18:06 AM
alot of posts seem to be focused on the price of bitcoin.
And it will always be like that, as long as there are other currencies or things that have a value. It needs a price for everything, so that we can check what something is worth. If this only happens with Bitcoin, then the values will be show linke that 0.00123 BTC without the price in dollars or euros. Compare it with a holiday in other country, there you also compare the values in your currency and the values in the currency of the country. That means the price is interesting as long as there are dollars and euros. Look at gold, the same.
