Basically Arsenal have been good in the game, by being able to win in ball possession and being able to take the lead with a 0-1 score at half time. In fact, until the second half it seemed that Everton only relied on a counter-attack which should have been well blocked by Arsenal. But in fact Everton can still turn things around and win the game, even though I chose Arsenal to win but basically I'm not sure about that. Well, congratulations to Everton for getting their fifth win this season.

Scoring has been problem for Arsenal and if Arsenal would have scored some more goals then the game would have gone Arsenal way. Also Everton played great in second half, they were pressing very well and that paid off for them. Good for Everton as they were without a win in 8 games and hope that brings in some relief for Benitez situation at Everton.

Honestly there were some chances which should have been scored but all missed. Nketiah one was close and Aubameyang also had a good chance to level in the extras but still I would say Arsenal played good.

What a performance from Tottenham Hotspur today, Antonio Conte is a magician, I can see so many improvements in the spurs team,Ben Davies improvement and Eric Dier sudden defensive leadership skills and performance show that that the coach has improved the team defensive problem,he has not even been there for a month.

Norwich were already on a bad form and I think Spurs shouldn't be all happy about it. Yes, its an easy 3 points but there are lot tougher opponents than Norwich to face in the race and they need to focus on that. Norwich is not a real test, matches against teams like Liverpool, City or Chelsea at current state is a real test for Conte and his men.

Spurs have game on 16 Dec against Leicester and 19 Dec with Liverpool and that would be a real test. Quick games, not much break and two heavy teams. It's a test for both the manager and players.

[..] and in today's match Ronaldo did not score.

Good point, he was not his usual self performance-wise when I saw the match but still he was very committed. Even he is not his usual self, its great to see him contributing in a way or another and that is a key thing that you get an experienced player. Their guidance improves other players characters and confidence as well.

Now off to last match of this gameweek- Aston Villa vs Leicester, tough match as both teams are on a road to recovery after sloppy performances. It would be a thrilling contest to conclude this PL gameweek.

Aston Villa and Scotland midfielder John McGinn, 27, has been identified by Manchester United as a replacement for France midfielder Paul Pogba, 28. Does that mean Manchester United have already given up on Pogba?

That would be an excellent transfer for United in my opinion and honestly I have been thinking about this for a while. McGinn can play as defensive midfielder and honestly he is very good at it. He deserves to be in better team and if this report is true then it is great opportunity to show his shine in a team with fame. It will be golden for both team and the player here. Regarding Pogba, I think he still has some moves but right now United is full with players and its hard for some players to keep their place so I think its better to offload him.
1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 05, 2021, 03:41:30 PM
There we go!! 1st Goal for Manchester United and it has come off from an unlikely goalscorer- Fred whom I don't like very much but I must say that it was a fabulous goal from him. Greenwood teed him a perfect and it was just all about the placement and what a goal giving Guaita no chance to save that. It's impressive to see Crystal Palace holding them till now as well and good sign from United to hold Crystal Palace as well. Still match not finished yet, anything can happen still.
1966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 05, 2021, 01:23:15 PM
I am not a United fan but today I am very curious and excited to see what tactics and strategy Ralf Rangnick today in his sleeves. Its his first match and would surely look out for making a remarkable impression before United fans but also they are up against Crystal Palace who are in good form. They have Zaha, Benteke, Gallagher who could become a problem for United defence so its gonna be tough task for them as well.

DIVOCK ORIGI! I broke my chair  Cheesy Our hero of Champions League, and hero against Everton, now hero against Wolves. Don't listen to whatever the people tell you Origi about leaving. Will you ever hear your name chanted like tonight?

But damn. Jota. I wanted him to score and he should have after robbing the ball off a clumsy misunderstanding with Wolves keeper but heh, he shot right at the middle where 2 bodies prayed on the goal line...

Well Klopp doesn't considers him as Liverpool legend for nothing does he. Wolves really played well and showed a great defensive display in my opinion. They didn't made any attack but still they put up lot of pressure on Liverpool holding them scoreless for almost the whole game until Divock Origi came in for the rescue. What a crucial goal- that goal led to 3 points and now Liverpool has just climbed above Chelsea on the table and stands 1st now. City has the chance to get to level on points but still Liverpool has the goal difference so they will stand 1st unless City settles the differences winning by 12 goals which is unreal.  Grin
1968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 04, 2021, 04:30:46 PM
I don't understand why Liverpool are playing so badly!? They have a great opportunity to move up to the top of the standings thanks to losing Chelsea! And they can't score for an hour! Wolves are not the team Liverpool should be playing badly against! They should be beating Wolves!

Wolves have improved over couple of last matches and they have been defending very well. Their goalkeeper Jose Sa is also a good goalkeeper so yeah its difficult for opponent to score but given the Liverpool form they should be at least one or two goals up by now. Chelsea upset was something I had a feeling on today as West Ham are not a team to be undermined of but yeah back to Liverpool's current game, its a golden opportunity for them to surpass Chelsea on tables. And if they don't today, then Manchester City will have this golden chance of overtaking both on the table. So crazy and entertaining Saturday we are enjoying here  Cheesy
1969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 04, 2021, 11:33:38 AM
Chelsea at the top of the table will certainly be a very difficult opponent for West Ham and always beat the big teams to be dubbed a scary team, and West Ham also has a good record when playing at home.

Well don't make the mistake of undermining West Ham. Last time those who undermined them against Liverpool game didn't went too well. They scored 3 against the team with rock-solid defenseand held side with best attacking line to 2 goals. They are today up against Chelsea who are having their list of injuries on their own so not really easy in my opinion for Chelsea here.

Alexandre Lacazette is actually a good player, I like Lacazette's style of play who has a high fighting spirit. But unfortunately Lacazette is rarely given
the opportunity to become starter by Arteta, so Lacazette is difficult to develop at Arsenal. Now Lacazette is 30 years old, and also his contract is
about to expire. So it's a good decision to sell Lacazette this season, hopefully Arsenal can bring in better strikers to replace Lacazette. Arsenal do
need good strikers, Aubameyang's form has also declined this season, so Arsenal must bring in quality strikers. Meanwhile, rumors say Arsenal are
trying to bring in Raheem Sterling from Man City, if it can be realized soon good things for Arsenal.

Yeah very good point. Arsenal's experienced strikers have lost touch and now most of the goals are scored by the young guns like Saka or Smith Rowe or someone who is not much favourite to score goals for Arsenal. Arsenal right now needs a good young striker with some potential to score for them. Arsenal recently have been contacting agents of some young strikers like Vlahovic which would have been a great signing but unfortunately it seems like they don't want him to move to Arsenal. Still there are lot of young strikers and winters transfer window is just around the corner to start so we will see what move Arsenal plays.
1971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 03, 2021, 04:43:38 PM
I am not so sure. They are in debt for in last transfer window and even now they have shown interest in players for which the teams were asking for a good amount of money and that's making me believe that they somehow can manage getting quite some few players for good sum of money.  They already have some good young players and now they need some good experienced players who can give the results they need right now.

I also show interest in Jenifer Lopez, I would really like to see her on my team (maybe my wife just doesn’t agree with this idea  Grin ) but I’m certainly realistic and I know that can’t happen. Even to overcome all technical obstacles I don't have enough money to satisfy her desires.

Hmm.. J LO huh? Nice man  Wink

But hey we are just speculating. You have interest in J Lo and you know that can't happen but we here are speculating about Barca, its transfers and their money situation but they Barca knows what they are doing and how much they have and can afford, we don't know anything for clear. We are just merely speculating based on facts and reports seen online. What I said that I have a feeling that Barca has some money and that's why they are going after players with a big price tag and the rumours have come down from some trusted one too. (I need to look for it as it was quite some time ago - so need to dig deep). Maybe I am wrong or maybe right.. we will only be able to see in winter transfers but this thing is for sure that there will be certainly some additions into the squad.

Even though they have the money I don't like the idea of buying players at high price, you know.. It is a risky one actually.. If it pays off then good but if it doesn't then it is money down the bin and for Barca in this situation I also would say best to buy some potential players. They already have some good young players and continue on buying young players on loan and buyout if they like it. I recently liked their loan signing Yusuf Demir.
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 03, 2021, 01:57:22 PM
Barcelona haven't money for any top expensive players. maybe they'll sign someone free and cheap like Aguero or Memphis and that's all. Halland, Sterling and co is just a rumour, in order to raise the price for those players.
if they had money, they would surely keep the Messi.
I guess Cavani is not too expensive, because of his age, but he is a solution only for one or a maximum of two seasons. if they want something more, they need younger players with big potential.

I am not so sure. They are in debt for in last transfer window and even now they have shown interest in players for which the teams were asking for a good amount of money and that's making me believe that they somehow can manage getting quite some few players for good sum of money.  They already have some good young players and now they need some good experienced players who can give the results they need right now.

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/edinson-cavani-wants-to-join-barcelona-next-summer-ttx6bgdzf?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1638440012

Times claims that the Manchester United CF Edinson Cavani wants to be signed by Barcelona next summer. He played in only 5 EPL matches so far and scored 1 goal. He doesn't find many opportunities in the starting eleven and there is no point for him to stay here. He's going to have six months left on his contract this January. He can be signed by Barcelona easily by a contract offer.

Interesting news and possibly could be true as well as Barcelona are actively looking for a striker and recently there were strong reports of them contacting City for Ferran Torres so yeah they are looking for a striker. And on other hand, United would be looking to offload some of their attacking options and Cavani seems likely one on the list. It would be a good transfer for Barca but let's see what United thinks of it.

Tottenham continued on their winning streak by defeating Brentford by 2-0 too last night. I was already waiting for them to win it comfortably and it wasn't surprising as a result. With Conte, they show a better performance. And the match of the night was of course Manchester United - Arsenal. Manchester United got a very deserved win by 3-2 I think. Both teams were effective and it was nice to watch a very competitive match.

Good to see Son back in form again with contribution in both goals. First it was the cross which led to one goal and second one was a simple touch in but it is impressive to see how he gets away from defenders and delivers crosses. Also the run for the second goal to get in scoring position was impressive as well. Glad to see one of the stars coming back to form once again and now its just Kane to get back into form. Last night he would have scored but he missed a sitter.

1975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 02, 2021, 05:37:38 PM
I would never consider Brenford a weak opponent and Tottenham even though playing at home can actually be an opportunity but Brenford's game is sometimes unpredictable[...]

Yeah they are very good team. They have surprised a lot of big teams in the start but ever since Raya (their goalkeeper) got injured they are having a dip in their performance. Today now they face Spurs who themselves are having hard time scoring with Son and Kane out of form so I don't think it is very easy for Spurs given the odds provided by the bookmakers. I think both teams to score should be a good one here with a small stake.

^^ENCE vs Virtus Pro is at 10-12 so there you have one winner already and I think you are likely gonna have the second one as well.  I also today started of backing Vitality and Liquid in starting matches and made quite some profit today so a good IEM betting for me till now.  Cheesy I am likely gonna go Faze to win against BIG (becoming quite anti-BIG slowly slowly) and am interested in going on Heroic to win against Godsent as well in the last two games.
1977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 02, 2021, 04:04:45 PM
‍Probably the current chances are really unfair in relation to Arsenal
1,98 - 3,75 - 3,75
but I would refrain from betting (at least until the match starts and it will be seen how the teams are playing) here, since in reality everything is too random - if United is in a normal state, they can easily win with a large score, but if not then they may lose. I would say that most of the outcome of this match will depend on United rather than on Arsenal, but it is difficult to guess.

Ralf Rangnick is gonna watch the game from stands today and Carrick will have another match today where he will manage the team when they face Arsenal. Honestly I don't see much change from Manchester United. Even last match they were lucky with the error Jorginho made but they can't rely on luck all the time. Maguire is gonna be back and I expect Ronaldo to start today. I agree on that outcome of this match would much more depend on how United will perform but I think it will likely be gonna draw with low no. of goals say 1-1 or 0-0 as both teams lack that sharpness in attack but I have too much doubt over United's defending.
1978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 01, 2021, 08:06:47 PM
Real Madrid are preparing to make an offer to Milan midfielder Frank Cessie, according to Todofichajes. Recall that the current contract of the Ivorian with the Milan team ends in the summer of 2022, after which the player will become a free agent.

It is worth noting that Milan do not want to lose the midfielder and are trying in every possible way to keep him, but Cessie is determined to change his club registration.

In addition to Real Madrid, Frank is targeted by a number of top European clubs, so the creamy will have to make the player a lucrative offer. Cessie is estimated at 55 million euros.

https://www.readfootball.com/real-nachal-peregovory-s-samym-vostrebovannym-havbekom-italii-246105.html

That would be a good boost to midfield. Real Madrid have good number of midfield players while some are getting old and they still have some young players in line but still a good potential young player in option will be good for the future. They already have Valverde, and this season they signed Camavinga too who have contributed quite well ever since he came so quite some potential players they have already and adding Kessie to that list will certainly boost the squad.

AC Milan will definitely be determined as they already has lost lot of players this transfer window and Kessie is a very crucial player in the team and losing him will certainly affect the squad. It will be hard to find some with that potential and develop him into that level again.
1979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 01, 2021, 03:37:59 PM
The first games today are going to be Bologna vs Roma and Inter vs Spezia. There is only a 4-point gap between Roma and Bologna in the standings now. But in terms of strength, Roma are far ahead of their opponent. They are maintaining a 2-game winning streak now and they would like to increase it to 3 games today. But as it is going to be an away game, Roma could have a tough time. But they can still be victorious.

I have a feeling that it would be draw. Its Bologna home and Roma would be without Lo Pellegrini today so that puts off some firepower out of Roma's attack. Roma have a good squad without a doubt but Bologna also have some good scorers. I think it would be a close one and Bologna would be well aware of their opponents here and hence I feel likely a draw.

Everton are finding a way out in the Premier League but the new competitor is Liverpool which is even a worse situation for them. They should be ready for any kind of result as Liverpool have been showing a great performance recently. Everton made a good start to the season but suddenly they started going down very quickly. And their morale is quite down now as a result. I won't place a bet but Liverpool would most probably win.

I think it should be easy win for Liverpool. Everton are in pretty bed shape right now with injuries and also being out of form. They lost their last game against Brentford last game week and I think this time they are facing an opponent with their best form. Richarlison would be back likely but their key players in defence - Yerry Mina and Holgate are still out and I don't think current Everton defenders will be able to hold Jota, Mane and Salah today. Very likely that game will go over 2/2.5 goals here.
