Giveaways ARE absolutely allowed here in the Games and Rounds section, just not in the altcoin section. There is no logical reason for closing this thread and not paying the people who've already responded to this thread other than the fact that you never meant to in the first place. If in fact this is a misunderstanding on your part, then just resume the thread and pay everyone. Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.
Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.
Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.

A monetary system is the opposite of sharing. Money constricts humanity's progress and is the cause of all that is wrong today.
Money enslaves us, only once we share will we find true freedom, only once we share will we find true peace, for to attain true freedom and inner peace, we must realize we are all one.
Because you act like you are above us and assume that no-one here understands the concept of sharing and co-operation, or even what a monetary system is for that matter. Granted most of the posts in this thread expressed a belief in the need of either a monetary or barter system, but once more if you actually read every post you would see that there is a few of us here who feel differently. |

Gotham got released this week and looks promising... Especially if you are a batman fan..
Actually, except for maybe a hint of him in the series finale, I'm sure we won't ever see Batman. I believe the focus of the series is not on Batman or even Bruce Wayne, but on the city of Gotham itself. It is an origins tale of all it's characters, long before the emergence of Batman, with Gordon seemingly being the central character. Yet, I have a feeling Bruce and the cat girl are going to become friends and even likely end up having a romantic relationship together. Why else would they have shown her bearing witness to his parents being killed? |

I was shocked too when I read that, but after doing some research I learned cousin marriages account for more than half of all marriages in the Middle East and 10% worldwide. Also, genetic defects attributed to cousin marriages aren't as high as you'd think. |

There are no man made laws regarding time travel, but if there were, are you implying that legally one could not even go back in time to view Halley's Comet or attend a Beatles concert? correct. waste of resources. lets stop Ted Bundy instead Solar power is only wasted if you don't use it.  |

This picture is a few months old and doesn't do me justice. My left arm is more tanned and I've lost 10 lbs over the summer. I look much better now.   WOW.... spending too much time in BTT  It is just me....or did floman's, "WOW...." make anyone laugh hysterically once they pictured the facial expression that was on his face upon giving that comment? With the assumption that his "WOW...." was genuine based of the factor that he is a newbie on this forum and one can only assume, gullible. I don't get it. Why would you think he is gullible? My setup ROCKS, man! I don't just think outside the box, I tear it up! Do you really think I would drag my computer desk beside my bed just for the sake of taking this photo? That's just absurd. |
