This time srilanka lost the match. The major problem for this is the lack of experienced players. Also if the match has took place in home ground they would have performed better than now. Also weather condition is highly a positive thing for the English countries than the Asian countries. Yes Sri Lanka players are not experienced and new players are not fit to test matches they are young blood so they need some experience players guidance. They got good bowling line up but batting is very disaster no one performing because of this no single player selected in this season of IPL. Lets see in second test match at least they fight back. Yes they need some experience players now but all experience players are retired last year only i think Sangakara had chance to play few more years what you say guys because when he got retired he was in tremandous form but now no chance to come back so better juniors take training from experience players or else this flop show will continue and Sri Lanka team will go down in the ranking list. I don't what is the reason for not selecting SL players for IPL but surely SL is not doing that great since last one year.
