1961  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it time to sell? on: June 18, 2016, 05:07:46 AM
It really depends on your personal situation currently. If you need some emergency cash for your family, then sure, go ahead. No one is stopping you from liquidating your coins for fiat.

But if you were a trader, then I would sell later than now.
1962  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: June 18, 2016, 05:06:53 AM
I think so, yes. I think bitcoin is going to be a great currency of the future, and fiat is going to get replaced by bitcoin sooner or later. The world economy is already in trouble.

So buy bitcoin as a safe asset to store your wealth in for the future.
1963  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: June 18, 2016, 05:06:06 AM
I guess a good generalisation about women is that they really love to shop. So why not give them some free bitcoins so they can shop online or in real life with those BTC? They'll be pretty interested.

Although it's hard to explain what BTC is to anyone...
1964  Economy / Speculation / Re: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT SELL YOUR BITCOIN on: June 18, 2016, 05:05:15 AM
Even if they will sell this will differ the rise for few days but will not prevent it, bitcoin price will continue to rise until the halving at least in my opinion then after that every single move should be counted  Wink

Yeah, I think the bull market will be so strong in the coming days that we might even see the bitcoin price peak at $800, or even more than that. The bears will lose out on money Tongue

So yeah, hold till the halving at least.
1965  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Storing coins on: June 15, 2016, 09:44:43 AM
Which one is the safest way to store bitcoins? I often hear that becomes thefts. I guess some of them are not heard even.

If you're only looking for the safest way, then cold storage solutions such as paper wallets, hardware wallets etc. are the best. Simply because an online attacker cannot take the coins from you.

But if you're looking for a convenient way, I suggest blockchain.info which is probably the most secure of the online ones.
1966  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prepare for huge panic. on: June 15, 2016, 09:43:55 AM
As the Chinese are preparing to sell, it will trigger a chain reaction of panic selling.
The Australian auction will cause the initial massive dump and we could even drop under $200 if the market is as weak as i suspect it is.
There may still he a little profit to make here but be careful, these will be bloody streets soon.

Hahaha and you were saying that all day long Roll Eyes And we the bulls just held onto our coins and look what happened to the bitcoin price? It was already over $700 when people said it was never going to.

Buy some bitcoins, I suggest you friend.
1967  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: please give your best advice for newbie? on: June 15, 2016, 09:42:48 AM
Just buy some and stop messing around. Had you done that a year ago you would have paid about $250. There is no free lunch here. If you beleive in BTC then use it and don't look back.

I couldn't agree more. Just buy some when the price is low and hold it till it's high. And sell it only when necessary. The best investment you can make is in bitcoin itself. It's the biggest and earliest cryptocurrency.

If you bought when it was only $100... You could have profited a ton, man.
1968  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Apart from earning BTC, What is BTC upto? on: June 15, 2016, 09:42:04 AM
Hi Experts,

I really love BTC and its benefits. I would like to know, why and for what the BTC was brought to the screen. What is it really up to? and the goal of creating this?

Well, it's really all about decentralization and anonymity. People like to have a trustless payment processor that is irreversible by nature. Also people don't want to be under government control all the time.

Guess that's why bitcoin is so popular now Cheesy
1969  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best trusted website to earn btc? on: June 15, 2016, 09:41:28 AM
Well, try bitcoinget.com or coinbucks. They are two survey/task sites that pay you in bitcoins for completing surveys and tasks basically. I have been paid from bitcoinget before and they are quite well funded.

Freebitco.in is probably the best faucet around.
1970  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn money in this forum? on: June 15, 2016, 09:40:44 AM
You can earn money in 3 ways (because that's i know so far). First, You can earn money in this forum by joining some signature campaign and it depends on your rank, remember higher rank higher payment to get. Second, offering your skills. You can offer your skills to other users to get more bitcoins. Third, selling digital goods, digital goods is like online account on other sites and other stuff that we may considered as digital.

Well, I doubt that a signature campaign would be a very good idea for a newbie that had just got started with bitcoin that has a new account and no experience with bitcoin whatsoever.

However, I think selling stuff is the best for a newbie. Because most people have possessions that they would like to sell.
1971  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: INVEST BITCOIN!!! on: June 15, 2016, 09:39:44 AM
there is no Trust in Life my Friend... Only Hope  Roll Eyes

Very true words. A very important aspect of investing is to accept your losses when necessary, invest only what you can afford to lose, and once you invest, expect the worst to happen.

It's a bit like gambling, investing with BTC.
1972  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best online wallet on: June 15, 2016, 09:39:03 AM
blockchain.info very popular, easy to use and secure Smiley

Blockchain.info is probably the one that I would trust and go with. Never trust your bitcoins with a third party that doesn't let you access your own private keys(Coinbase, Xapo, Localbitcoins).

Only use those services in the short term. Store bitcoin in the long term in cold storage wallets.
1973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Seriously] How can I explain Bitcoin to a grandma or grandpa? on: June 15, 2016, 09:37:04 AM
"Nobody can generate Bitcoin out of thin air."
But, but ... that's what miners do!

hahahahahahaha... now you have to explain mining.

Seriously whenever I attempt to explain something to my grandparents this does not end well. It usually goes into a spiral of never ending questions. Whenever there is a new idea you have to explain it.

"Decentralized anonymous virtual currency" sums it up nicely i guess.
1974  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make money on bitcointalk? on: June 15, 2016, 09:35:04 AM
I guess you can sell your service for bitcoin, there are people always actively seeking people to do tasks for bitcoins, eg sardasa. If you have some capital, then you could also consider lending as your option.

Lots of ways, you just gotta find out which one's best for yourself.
1975  Economy / Speculation / Re: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT SELL YOUR BITCOIN on: June 15, 2016, 09:33:41 AM
I agree with you that we should probably hold our coins a bit longer and at least wait till the halving comes... To be honest, the price is probably going to go through an adjustment period after the halving and then stabilize.

But seriously don't sell it now or you'll gunna regret.
1976  Economy / Speculation / Re: After halving, what will be the price of Bitcoin in your opinion? on: June 15, 2016, 09:32:32 AM
I heard that this summer there will be a Halving, where the price of Bitcoin will either go up or down.
In your opinion, the Bitcoin will increase or decrease? how much?
The Halving is a good thing or not?

I think the halving can really go both ways, because there might be a huge pump or a huge dump. The huge pump being that the blocks will halve and therefore miners will hang onto their coins instead of selling it, and the dump because of a potential bubble.

So go for whatever you believe in.
1977  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why did you come to Bitcointalk? on: June 15, 2016, 09:31:29 AM
It's a great place to learn. Personally I wandered on over to this lovely website forum full of great users because I was interested in mining Altcoins like Doge. It helped a lot and I got my own GPU rig and did it nicely and ROI'd so hey it's nice.

Yeah, this forum is one of the best places to not only learn about bitcoin, but also cryptocurrencies in general. And there is definitely a mining section here as well where you can get some advice.

I came to learn as well. And trade some BTC.
1978  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: June 15, 2016, 09:30:41 AM
Just buy it!!!  Grin

I think so. I believe that buying bitcoins with your salary is one of the smartest thing you can do. Not only can you save up your money somewhere, you can also treat it as an investment.

Just buy and hold, and sell when the price goes up.
1979  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello friends.. new guy here! on: June 15, 2016, 09:29:53 AM
Yeah and either going for cloud mining or gambling where there is chance of loosing your coins, its better to hold till the halving, as it can give you best profits.
Yep. Cloud mining companies are either scams or don't pay you your ROI back at all. All the legit ones wouldn't be giving you any profit, and all the scam ones will go scam due to ponzi structure eventually.

So holding is defintiely going to give you the best profits.
1980  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: June 15, 2016, 09:26:33 AM
I think 2017 will truly be the year for bitcoin, because I feel that halving will happen in 2016, it will cause people to know about bitcoin, and start buying bitcoin

definitely. I think that the halving will really get some people to reconsider this currency bitcoin, and will probably boost public interest in bitcoin as well. However I think this will happen from this year rather than in 2017.

Every year is the year of bitcoin. We're getting more and more users Cheesy
