1961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 49 days till the halving, time is flying now on: June 25, 2016, 12:18:05 PM
We are almost there comrades, let's hodl together and we will make it. More and more and more mainstream media is starting to report on Bitcoin being the ultimate safe haven, surpassing gold in performance. WE will be the kings of the universe if we hold long term.
1962  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: June 25, 2016, 12:14:40 PM
I don't think that we would be able to recover from such an insane crash. I mean 1 dollars? C'mon man, that's just impossible. If we get that low, it's over, but we will never get that low before a lot of people buy. We are at 680 right now and Bitcoin is showing to be a very solid hedge against economic collapse.
1963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you want to become Rich you need to Put Higher bets on: June 24, 2016, 03:52:04 PM
Is it really true that if someone want to earn big from gambling he need to make a higher bets? Yes he can also loose but if he is lucky enough he can earn big amounts too. People can not make profits with lower bet amounts like .05 etc. you need a higher amounts bets.

Well, I disagree. if you bet .05 with 0.01% winning chance on a dice site you'll have 4,950 BTC which I think is not a small win. So don't need to make your bets bigger to have the chance to win more.

You will need tons and tons of spins to ever hit that small 0.01% chance of winning. In the long run, you can end up spending more than 4,950 BTC in small quantities.

We need LUCK. Of course, I recommend making big trades, in the market you can at least try to predict stuff. Taking big risks in trades is the only way to become rich.
1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I suppose it makes sense? on: June 24, 2016, 03:10:28 PM
ETH is related for me it's pretty obvious that some whales have been involved in the BTC crash. They just profited from the bitfinex incident to use this sell off traction while pumping ETH. This makes BTC holders to psychologically see ETH as a place to be while BTC corrects. Dont fall for it.

What if it's a double bluff?

If you are here for the long term it's worth risking buying at whatever price (500, 600 or 700) it doesn't matter. In the long term you will end up with more money than you would by trying to profit from shorting BTC against USD or against other altcoins.
1965  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to sell? Or to buy? on: June 24, 2016, 03:06:19 PM
Bitcoin is sitting comfortably for hours right now at 650. I would expect a big move in the coming hours as FOMO kicks in, this always seem to happen when we get some hours of a steady price. We are coming from a place where it looks like bitcoin and gold will go up. Of course corrections can happen but bull sentiment is still strong.
1966  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: June 24, 2016, 02:47:12 PM
Ethereum has 42 million coins total supply + we dont even know what the inflation rate will be... why is people assuming that the price will reach 100 or more? We don't even know if the coin will survive the DAO fiasco.
1967  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: June 24, 2016, 02:32:21 PM
The price of bitcoin will be increase in 2017 I guess. so This is the right time to invest in BTC.
Short sighted people will never make it. They see buying now as a risk and probably still think that Bitcoin will keep correcting, when in the long term it doesn't matter if you get in at 500, 600 or 700 since in a year from now the price will be much, much higher.
1968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase has partnered with Paypal - Officially! on: June 24, 2016, 02:25:16 PM
Well this means now that the entire ebay economy could deal with Bitcoin which is a big plus, even tho ideally i would also have liked that they use Bitpay but at the end of the day it's still good news and should raise its value.

1970  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 1000$ in 2016 on: June 23, 2016, 02:11:45 PM
Once the manipulation is done and all the idiots are done panic selling we will go to 700+ pretty soon. After that the path towards 100 a coin should be smooth sailing unless more manipulation ensues.
1971  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a joke? Shorter with infinite money on Bitfinex? on: June 23, 2016, 02:10:01 PM
Brexit will be a yes anyway. Only naive fools think the powers that be would leave a no to happen, they will conveniently rig it so UK stays in europe.

Also this crash has to be someone with an agenda to stop Bitcoin's rise. Either gov related or ETH whales related.
1972  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price increase to $1000+ again soon. What will you do? on: June 23, 2016, 01:58:31 PM
Hold. When people start selling at 1000 dollars, we will see a correction and a lot of people will get left behind since trying to play the market accurately is impossible. Too much risk to not be able to buy back in time.
1973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tau-Chain and Agoras Official Thread: Generalized P2P Network on: June 23, 2016, 01:52:03 PM
So what I was talking about some pages ago happened: Bitfinex fucked up for some hours and people was scared. This is why im not investing on any coin that doesn't let me store the coins myself locally to hold them myself. Trusting exchanges or other people to hold coins for you is nonsense and very risky... unfortunately I don't see a way to securely invest in Tauchain.
1974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 23, 2016, 01:42:52 PM
Really thought picks on this one. I think unfortunately Cristiano Ronaldo will not be able to score again so I might go for a Croatia win. Spain vs Italy is a very hard one, both are top tier contenders so im not sure. I think Spain can win if they don't do mistakes at the end of the match.
1975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In gambling, Money is more important than knowledge and luck on: June 22, 2016, 01:37:08 PM
They are all equally important, there's nothing that is more important than the other. Well, in fact, I would say that luck is more important than knowledge in game. I don't believe in any tactics to win more in gambling, by gambling I mean pure gambling like rolling dices, slot machines etc.

Of course if we are talking about betting on sports for example, knowledge is as important.
1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 22, 2016, 01:29:53 PM
I think I will give Spain another win tonight. A 2-1 bet in my opinion is a safe bet, I might go for that and see what happens. Iniesta is one of the best players in the world right now. Good luck.

Damnnit, I made the bet backwards. 1-2 for Croatia, I can't believe they had so much luck to score a goal right at the end of both parts of the match. Right near 45 minute mark then right near 90 minute mark...

Anyway, looking forward for the Italy team tonight and hope I can get a win.
1977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: June 22, 2016, 01:25:10 PM
I believe this is true, it's not going to happen overnight, but it will happen

I may happen. There are other coins on the market which offer far more usability then bitcoin. So if you ask me. Will a crypto con be the future. Yes it will
Will it be Bitcoin? Not sure.

What usability, the same that made ETH a doomed coin? Get real. Usability is useless, unless the coin has a solid dev team and Core is the only solid dev team, and they are working on the biggest coin, so Bitcoin has 0 competition.

ETH will go down eventually, we are just seeing whales pumping it to dump it for BTC.
1978  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: June 22, 2016, 01:19:18 PM
Gonna use it on my sister for her medical needs.
When I read your post I was like, oh man, this might be real.

If you gave me 10 BTC I will use 5 btc capital for altcoins trading. Then I will save the others bitcoin until the price goes up.

Good thing to see that most people here that either they use the money for investment or trading. Trading is really a profitable way to earn.

Trading requires initial capital and if you have 10 btc then that is a good amount to start trading, and it will also help you in growing your coins for the future.
Most people just end up losing their BTC in their trades. It's better to just hold and keep having a regular job and keep buying Bitcoin for the long term, that's of course a slower way to get rich but a guaranteed one since Bitcoin will go to 100+ in the next decade.
1979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 22, 2016, 01:13:03 PM
The best you can do is not tell anyone about Bitcoin, don't even bother. Just keep it to yourself and keep stacking on it, and don't tell anyone. I have noticed that when I tell something to other people and it has to do with money, it always turns out bad. It's best that you stick to your own business.
1980  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of Bitcoin change more than traditional currencies? on: June 22, 2016, 01:04:06 PM
Marketcap is tiny at aroun 10 billion dollars. This is nothing and there are thousands of companies that have marketcaps way higher than this, so when you take this into a global perspective, it's tiny and this will mean that the price will grow a lot when new money enters the ecosystem. Until we are at around 100k per coin, we will not see real stability.
