1961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge really go to the moon? on: February 20, 2023, 10:05:46 AM
There is no answer to this type of question, we are not Elon, so it is impossible to know what he is thinking and what he will do with the doge. Investing in doge is very risky, if you are looking to invest in it you can, but always be ready to face unexpected risks.

For me, doge will not die or disappear even if Elon is no longer supporting it because it already has a community that uses it before Elon talks about it. But its hype will definitely depend on Elon, if he declares to stop supporting it will return to the real value.
1962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of holding Bitcoin in time of crisis on: February 20, 2023, 09:59:23 AM
    -    Bitcoin is good for long term investment, in this matter it is already proven and tested. Now, when it comes to daily earnings Bitcoin trading is also good if your capital is at least 100$.

Because in my experience with that amount it is possible to earn 5-10$ a day in trading activity even in the market situation it can be even higher than that. In addition to the bitcoin I accumulate every week.

With 100$ capital, and you say you can make 5-10$ per day trading bitcoin, that means you earn 10% profit per day I don't believe what you are saying. You should keep in mind that bitcoin trading is very risky, and I have not seen anyone who can make a steady profit as you are imagining. If it becomes so easy to profit from bitcoin, then I believe not many people are losing money in the market. What the market is showing us, trading causes more losses than profits.
1963  Economy / Economics / Re: Can one achieve financial independence through crypto currency? on: February 19, 2023, 06:52:42 AM
I believe financial independence refers to the ability of a person to be self sufficient.  So my answer will be yes.

Yes, you are correct. Financial independence typically refers to a state in which an individual has enough financial  resources to sustain his life-style without depending on external sources of financial assistance or being employed. Investing in a certain project can be a good idea to generate wealth and achieve financial freedom. It is great to hear that your acquaintance achieve financial independence by investing in crypto currencies, I am sure he carefully evaluated the risks associated with crypto currencies investment, and managed them effectively.

In my opinion, financial independence and financial freedom mean that we have a lot of money and don't need to worry too much about money problems to spend every day and have a full life. While bitcoin is an investment and its returns are considered the highest, there is nothing wrong with someone wanting to rely on bitcoin for financial independence. I am investing in bitcoin myself and want financial independence and freedom. I believe that by just working hard to accumulate bitcoins and hold until bitcoin increases in price as expected, we will achieve success.
1964  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin inflation wilder than fiat? on: February 19, 2023, 06:44:13 AM
the fact is that no one is able to control the price of bitcoin because of its decentralized nature.
No more decentralized if there are Institutional and companies have a lot of bitcoin, like blackrock, or any company like binance who have hundred thousand of bitcoin, they will easy to control bitcoin price on the market in near future, so you have noted it!.

we know gold is very decentralized on past, but after 1 country alot of gold and hoard it, nor more decentralized, the gold price were control who have alot of gold. so are bitcoins, if owned only 1 institution, company and person, I believe bitcoin isn't more decentralized in future, they will control it like fiat, bitcoin will more have inflation like fiat.

I'm not sure if bitcoin's inflation is greater than fiat money, but bitcoin's gradual loss of decentralization is something I've been thinking about. Yes, it is like gold, once an organization or country holds the majority of bitcoins, controlling the bitcoin price is not too difficult. Just like what is happening in the market, even though no one can control the bitcoin network, the sharks who own a lot of bitcoin can still manipulate the market easily. The current bitcoin price does not depend on supply and demand, it is being manipulated by the sharks, if they want it to drop, nothing can stop.
1965  Economy / Economics / Re: does bitcoin help in your economy? on: February 19, 2023, 06:34:15 AM
there are many people investing in bitcoin, some are profitable and some are losing. and I believe bitcoin has a big advantage. The question is whether when you benefit from bitcoin, you can help your economy and your family?

Economy means money, as long as that work or investment makes you money, it will benefit you. Bitcoin too, if you make profit from bitcoin it is helping your economy better. Bitcoin is becoming more and more popular and used, which shows that it is having a positive impact on the economy of many people. And I like many people here, bitcoin helps me a lot in improving the economy. I really feel lucky to know bitcoin and don't let this chance pass, you are also a lucky one early bitcoin.
1966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite MEME COINS? on: February 18, 2023, 09:08:07 AM
I am not a fan of these meme coins as I don't see long tern growth in them or giving returns to the holders but have managed to gain some quick profits out some of them like doge and Shiba back in hype time but exist the market with little profits only because I know they will collapse soon dumping your investments in them.So best is if you can take quick profits but for long term investment purposes it's not good at all.

Not only meme coins but even top altcoins don't deserve to be considered as a long-term investment, in the long run, bitcoin is the only option. I'm not a fan of memes or altcoins, rather I'm not a fan of anyone's, but as long as it's profitable for me, I won't ignore it. We are here to make a profit, so as long as they have the potential to give us profit, then we should invest. For me, bitcoin is long-term, and shitcoin is short-term, I don't hate anyone.
1967  Economy / Speculation / Re: why Bitcoin Dumping ? on: February 18, 2023, 08:58:27 AM
As investors of course we know that the risk of bitcoin can be dumped at any time, and the best strategy for profit is to be patient and hold, if we use spot exchanges then we can set the selling price according to our wishes and I a few days ago set a selling price of $24500 and yesterday it was fulfilled, at that time I bought at a price of $ 22k and profit of more than 10% in only 2 days, and if we want to get 10% bank interest then we have to wait 1.5 years, whereas with bitcoin only 2 days.
And this is what makes bitcoin so attractive for many traders out there, bitcoin can give profits that in other markets could take a long time to get, for example where I live banks give very little interest so it would not take 1.5 years to reach a 10% gain but several years, and when we take into account the inflation rate which is many times higher than that then we can clearly see we earned nothing and instead we lost money, but with bitcoin you can outpace inflation as long as you are a good trader or at least you can hold your coins for a long time.

You can't compare bank savings with investments, that's a lame comparison. Bitcoin is not the only investment that pays off, stocks can also give you bigger returns than a savings account in the bank. I agree that bitcoin is the best return on investment but also the riskiest one right now. And speaking of inflation with bitcoin, it has yet to act as a hedge against inflation in 2022. Its value has fallen by more than 80% and decreases every time inflation increases.
1968  Economy / Speculation / Re: Enough? on: February 18, 2023, 08:45:54 AM
Is 0.1BTC a lot and enough for long-term holding? I calculate my extra income that I use for DCA and I feel like this is the range of BTC I will end up owning on the long run, anything more will put me in a very tight position or maybe I need to upgrade my side job to earn more for investing into Bitcoin. What do you feel about this? 0.1 BTC good enough or not.
Just consider your capacity to hold OP. Because you don't need to push yourselves to invest beyond the amount that you can afford to lose and if you think that 0.1BTC is enough, then that is enough. You can increase your limit in the future when you think you can manage it and of course, when you have extra money to risk as well. Honestly, 0.1BTC is big enough for a casual investor even like me. Though we think that holding a lot of Bitcoin can make us more profitable but we also consider our position if we can make it.

Our greed never bottoms, so how much investment is enough depends on each person's finances, no one is the same. In my country, 0.1 BTC with a current value of 2k5$ is not a small amount, with that amount would be equal to the base salary of a worker for 1 year of work. Not everyone can get that money.
And you're right, more or less it doesn't matter as long as we don't exceed the amount we can't lose, and should be satisfied with what we have, sometimes excessive greed will pay the price.
1969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 18, 2023, 08:18:18 AM
Such a large win for girona team the win was no big surprise since girona team showed some decent results this season not to mention they are better than their opponent in the standing but the score was a big surprise, they managed to seal the deal on the first half by leading it 4 0, almeria team improved a lot in the second half but it was too late this win will put girona on a safe place in the middle of the table on the other hand almeria are still in danger of relegation.
As a result of the 6-2 victory, it also gives the players of the Girona team a great self-confidence.  I didn't expect this different win, but I was almost certain that Girona would win.  As I expected, they won, but they made a big show by scoring 6 goals.  It is more enjoyable to watch such matches in La Liga.

Girona's performance in this match really surprised me. I thought the match might be a draw. But Girona's players played superbly. Girona players were very aggressive from the start of the match. They scored the first goal in just 8 minutes. And at the end of the first half, they went 4-0. And after leading 4-0 it was certain that there was no chance of them losing in this match. And so in the second half, the players of Girona played completely attacking. Despite conceding two goals in the second half, Girona won the match 6–2. We will probably see the Girona team in the top 10 of the points table.

We are officially f*cked, I don't see if we can top this big deficit.

Trailing 128 runs and not much batting left in the dugout. I really hope Ashin/Axar bail out the Indian team and maybe some contribution from Bharat, if not then we are losing this one as 4th inning would be very tough.
It is really hard to score 124 runs with three wickets left. Axar Patel and Ashwin needs to withstand till the score touches 200 runs. Further the scoring could somehow reach around 220 runs. Around 50 runs trailing by the end of the innings is better to keep the hope of winning or ending the match in a draw than losing badly.

Indian batsmen are not able to stand in front of Nathan Lyon's excellent bowling. Nathan Lyon managed to pick up 5 wickets. India scored only 150 runs. They are still behind by 113 runs. Axar Patel and Aswin are good enough batsmen. But will this pair be able to collect big? I don't think so. The batsman is not able to take advantage of this pitch. I guess India will lose the remaining three wickets between 185-190. If India finishes their innings before 200 then it will be very difficult for India to win this match.
1971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 18, 2023, 07:59:50 AM
besides that Chelsea also lost in the first leg which will make their players have to try hard in the second leg later. the advantage for chelsea is that they host the second leg so the opportunity is still wide open for them.
I don't think Chelsea will have an extra advantage in home matches. Chelsea managed to get 18 points in 10 Premier League home matches. The condition of the Chelsea team is now unstable. As a result, they also failed to take advantage of home matches. Not only are Chelsea's players out of form, their overall match strategy is also poor. In such circumstances, I think it is unlikely that Chelsea will win the second leg against Dortmund by a margin of 2-0. Because the Dortmund team is not weak. They are strong and experienced enough this season. And now their performance is stable. So I would say the second leg will be a draw. And Dortmund will qualify for the next round.
I don't deny that Chelsea are bad in the Premier League, but when I saw their performance in the first leg of the Champions League when they narrowly lost to Borussia Dortmund, I gave them more confidence. I think it was a different look from the Chelsea I usually see. One thing they have to fix is to try to play as effectively as possible so they don't waste too many chances in the second leg match later. Chelsea still have high hopes and it is true that homecoming in the second leg will give them an advantage.

Chelsea's performance in the first leg against Dortmund was not bad. They played very well. And they were able to create many good attacks and scoring chances. But due to the mistakes of the forward players, no goal can be scored. Also the performance of Dortmund's defenders was outstanding. And if Dortmund can maintain that performance in the second leg, I don't see Chelsea winning the match. Because Chelsea's attack is weak. Although the coach can solve the internal problems of the team, he needs an experienced striker to strengthen the attack.

At the top Khwaja and Handscomb were a big tick for Australia and 263 is not a bad score so they should be happy and proud of this performance. India on the other hand must be feeling a little disappointed as they failed to wrap up Aussie's tail cheaply but it happens sometimes.
Now Indian top order needs to bat sensibly and must do the heavy lifting. Don't expect your tail to bail out every time, they can also have an off day at work.
Handscomb was preferred ahead of the other batsmen for selection, because he is a right-handed batsmen. But he justified his place in the XI. Improvement was there from Australia compared to the first test match, but still they have an uphill task with them at hand. Usman Khawaja also did his part in the fightback. The contribution from Pat Cummins was also very valuable. Now the Indian batsmen are against three of the Australian spinners. Todd Murphy is in good form, but I don't have the same opinion about Nathan Lyon. And then we have Matthew Kuhnemann making his debut.

There is no reason to think that the pitch only helps spinners. On this pitch, Mohammad Shami managed to take 4 wickets in just 14 overs. So if the Australian bowlers perform well they can control the match. But that seems unlikely. Because Indian batsmen are in very good form now. Had the Australian players managed to score more than 300, the match would have been competitive. But Australia scored only 263 runs. It was a very low collection against India. However, if the Australian bowlers managed to pick up 3/4 wickets in the first session tomorrow, the match is likely to be competitive. Or we will see the dominance of Indian batsmen in this match as in the first match.
1974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have always wanted to ask this about bitcoin on: February 17, 2023, 08:40:23 AM
Will people still use or buy bitcoin till today if all it has to offer is the decentralized characteristic only, I am trying to say that if bitcoin is stable in value from day one and has no investment ability will you still buy it?

if all it has to offer is moving money around and no volatility, will Bitcoin be your favorite still? Drop your thoughts and let's see.

I am thinking that the Volatile is what makes bitcoin a must have for almost everybody, think I am wrong?

And people won't see a reason to buy Bitcoin if there were no Volatility from day one.

I will still use bitcoin even if it becomes stable but certainly not as much as now. It can be said that, besides the need for profit, today with the loss of trust in banks, people are also starting to value privacy more, so bitcoin will still be an option even if it is not profitable.

Like others, I believe bitcoin will never become stable. Maybe as bitcoin gets bigger, its volatility will be smaller, but it will never be stable, as long as it still makes a profit, the demand for it will always increase.
1975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a crypto project reliable and trustworthy ? on: February 17, 2023, 08:28:33 AM
Bitcoin is the King of cryptocurrency and most altcoins are way less qualified in terms of credibility, fanbase, high returns with minimal risks etc. I am trying my best to analyze altcoin projects but the results are not pleasant. What makes an altcoin really trustworthy ? And why ? Please let me know your opinions.
When talking about altcoin , there are no concrete idea of how we could find a legit or trustworthy project though we are tend to believe that there are a possible big reutrns.
altcoin is a fall of risk and that is not a fact but a reality so better to check your project wisely as even those who are being promoted by big people sometimes end up not progressing to the top.
find your risk and invest only what you can afford to lose.

Those who seek assurance cab focus on coins that have been running activities for a long time. Those who have a bigger community and have dealt with the ups and downs of the market. I would say that some of the top coins can perform better and will be more reliable. It's hard to rely on new projects nowadays so focusing on old and trusted coins will be wiser.
actually XRP had been running long but eventually experienced dump because of the case filed against them , and also NEO that once being on top but now? it drops badly and the later one is Litecoin , after the selling  happened or the change of management ? we seen how bad they are acting now .
but of course it is indeed one of the best way to trust aside from bitcoin those coin long running currencies are good.

Investment is for profit, if you want safe and reliable, then choose bitcoin, no need to choose useless old altcoins. Investing in altcoins is with the expectation of earning a higher return than bitcoin, so old coins that have been dumped and are no longer of much interest to the community are better off getting rid of them. Investing in altcoins is inherently risky, so we need to get the reward worth it, I would invest in potential new projects rather than old ones.
1976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad feeling like a bomb is gonna go off on: February 17, 2023, 08:19:00 AM
Are you afraid of the collapse of stablecoins? Stable coins are also altcoins, so it wouldn't be surprising if they crashed or disappeared one day. With the SEC hitting BUSD as a sign that they can do more, most likely, USDT or USDC will be their next target. Stable coins are not as safe as you think, so don't trust any coin too much. It is advisable to hold fiat instead of the stablecoin if you are unable to hold bitcoin under any circumstances.
1977  Economy / Speculation / Re: does the increasing number of altcoins have a negative impact on the price btc on: February 16, 2023, 08:50:26 AM
The increasing number of altcoins will of course reduce the bitcoin marketcap, 5 years ago the bitcoin marketcap was more than 60%, but now there is only about 32% left, especially after the presence of several stable coins which have now beaten bitcoin's daily transaction volume, but the other side is that bitcoin is still be king and I'm sure it will last for a long time.

This seems to be true, in 2017, bitcoin's market capitalization accounted for 80% of the total market cap, but so far bitcoin's dominant market cap is 41%. Bitcoin dominance is up and down year by year, but in the long run, it is being influenced by altcoins. If altcoins continue to explode further and bitcoin dominance continues to fall, it is not yet sure if this is a good or bad thing. Once bitcoin dominance is gone, market movement will no longer depend on bitcoin.
1978  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Heading Back To $23,000? on: February 16, 2023, 08:32:41 AM
it's been answered as it is after a week? now bitcoin back to 24k and staying strong showing a possibilities performing to 25k in the soonest.

I believe that Bitcoin will now be ready to increase up to 30k , but be aware that it may be the sign of bitcoin fall as the year is still far from Halving.

It is also normal for bitcoin to drop in price because bitcoin cannot go up forever without a correction, but I am pretty confident that a steep decline in bitcoin will be improbable, maybe a drop to $19k-20k will be the bottom of this year.

a slow drop happens in the mid of February but now it is increasing and showing good reaction(what i was looking is the reason for this Pump)

Although Fuds related to SEC and Binance are spreading in the market, bitcoin has risen and is continuing to rise for no reason. It shows that bitcoin is still the same, still very unpredictable, and sometimes bullish without good news. I also tried to find a reason for this rally, but like the January rally, there is no exact reason.
1979  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I made my first $2000 through stock marketing on: February 16, 2023, 08:16:19 AM

Trading in forex or stock means you don't own any bitcoin. Not your keys, not your coins and I'm sure that with forex or stock, you don't own any key.

Trading is more risky than investment and with Bitcoin, you will have best ROI by investment, not by trading.
For stock or forex trading, I have never seen anyone complain about scams or crashes from the exchange, it's not like in crypto. Stock exchanges or forex are strictly regulated by legal authorities and can be said to be quite safe when we invest. I have been trading forex for 5 years with an FBS broker and have never had a problem with it.

You may not like trading, but just because you don't make a profit from trading doesn't mean others can't either. Trading is a major method of making money across all financial markets.

I admit you are completely right about that, trading Forex or stocks is fully regulated by local authorities so there is very little fraud.
Trading with a trusted and recommended broker will be very good to do. Your 5 years of experience in forex trading certainly cannot be doubted.

But have you never traded in crypto, with the high volatility of course and quite risky? Forex trading may be safer without high volatility, every Saturday and Sunday trading is closed. But crypto never closes and continues to operate 24 hours.

Just need to choose which trade is good and can be profitable. Forex or crypto both have advantages and disadvantages.
But if you want to be free from the supervision of legal authorities, then crypto trading will be highly recommended because it is also decentralized.

About the OP's statement that he made a profit of $2000 overnight, of course, it is an extraordinary achievement.
But will it be able to last? Of course it won't last forever, OP just hasn't mentioned how much he lost during trading.
Trading looks simple, buying cheap and selling at high prices. But on the market, it will not be that easy.

Honestly, I rarely trade crypto, as it is volatile and still a manipulated market it becomes a lot more difficult to analyze cryptocurrencies than forex. I trade daily with forex and invest long term with crypto, doing so I feel better with everything, crypto is too volatile in a short time, so I limit trading with them. And I don't think crypto trading will escape regulatory scrutiny because if you want to trade, you have to do it on centralized exchanges.

I still believe OP can make that profit overnight, but you are right, no one can maintain winning forever, trading will have win days and lose days. He didn't mention the days he lost.
1980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 16, 2023, 03:56:29 AM
Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) final match today.  Today's game Sylhet Strikers vs Comilla Victorians will be the final match between these two teams.  Both teams have 18 points so they are evenly matched in all aspects.  If we consider then we never find any difference between them but the question arises in us which team will win?.  There is not much difference in the mind of the cricket watcher and the bet on which team will win the game.

In this year's BPL, Sylhet and Comilla teams have met a total of 3 times. Although Sylhet Strikers managed to win the first match, Comilla Victorians won the next two matches. And the interesting thing is that in these three matches the teams won by batting on target. So I would say a lot of the match will depend on the toss in today's match. The team that wins the toss will get some extra facilities. But the Comilla team is in better form than Sylhet. After losing the first three matches, this team did not lose any more matches. John qualified for the final by winning each match. A team like that is very difficult to beat.
