So once you fall victim by inputting your forum password your details will be stolen and your account gone.

Nothing new with this as their are still users want to hack some account for their own personal interest and luckily you check the url before going. Also you can report this up to the moderator so that the accounts used for sending you a message about that phising link will get banned so that they or he cannot used that for another phising link spreading again.
1962  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: July 17, 2022, 11:06:37 AM
with their almost 2 years in this forum , they have lured many players but there is  only few update the thread about their winning experience , maybe because many of players only uses their Ooms token in which the Play money of the site.
It's not a problem, Ooms or BTC. so it's all about traffic, if they are good in SEO, all people come with real money. You definitely know how apps on the play store earn money?, Of course, from many who downloaded. we already know the main goal of futuur is gambling, but they can earn money other than that, like ads or something like content sponsored on the website.

What the site lacks is traffic and nothing else, because they do not have any accusations of fraud or anything, if you have so much time in the forum what is missing is that it has a boost, promotions, contests, something that is striking in social networks , I am a fan of twitter, and there I get many opportunities to compete for some casinos, maybe that is what you need.

For so many competitors already running successfully here they really need to have proper promotion so that people will not pass when they see this thread and its good to have some contest running because it can create more discussion to this thread and might they can accumulate real time players who want to seek fun with them. This is already discuss I guess they don't have enough funds to execute this options.
1963  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Mt. Gox coins affect Bitcoin’s price in August? on: July 16, 2022, 11:24:11 PM
If they really release it to its old users provably those will give some effect because for sure those old guys would provably sell their stuck coins for long years and this could create fud which can make the price of bitcoin move. But this is for short term only since for sure bitcoin will bounce and many investors will catch the knife at possible bottom price of it.
1964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 16, 2022, 12:45:49 PM
The passage of mandatory KYC in the event of a conditionally large win by a player, here, it seems to me, on the one hand, the occurrence of circumstances of difficulties for withdrawing funds for the player himself, but on the other hand, it is also the responsibility of the casino for AML. But whatever it was, in fact, all these restrictions raise doubts for making a decision to make a deposit or not.
I don't think it's the reason why many people don't want to make a deposit because honestly speaking, most of users didn't even read the whole TOS and just register new account. If there's no such thing aside username, email and password to create new accounts, they will make a deposit after completing that.

Mandatory KYC and withdrawal problem mostly occur when they already make a deposit, not before deposit.

Most of the gamblers and I can say including me rarely read the TOS since I consider it the same with others also I don't have any intention to play intensively or even deposit a large amount of money on casino because I'm also aware about this issue as well scamming. If KYC immediately ask upon signing up for sure players will lose their interest since it creates bad impression not unless if the casino already establish a good reputation.
1965  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: July 16, 2022, 11:27:05 AM
The thing is this.....

Political instability are even worst than corrupt governments, because this triggers a power struggle in government and possibly civil war. Yes, they can over throw their government, but they will have to rid their previous government from all rotten apples.... and then replace them with good politicians and civil servants.  Roll Eyes

Let's hope Sri Lanka will not follow the same path as other 3rd world countries like Zimbabwe, where they removed the Robert Mugabe government and replaced them with more corrupt politicians and civil servants.  Roll Eyes

They must have an election and elect the right people they have a fresh start by ousting a corrupt government hopefully they will follow Philippine's people power instead of country like Zimbabwe, they should negotiate to World Bank and to all their debtors to get a new start in their debt, they need all the support they need, this is a bad experience for a country where the world is in
crisis, because of the pandemic and the war between Russia and Ukraine.

It will take a long time for Sri Lanka to get up on the mess they are currently on because for sure the upcoming officials will doubt to handle this country because they don't have enough money to rebuild their country. Also the expectation of people will became more higher so for sure all eyes are watching on them so simple mistake could trigger the same scenario what they are currently in. Lets just hope everything will be in good shape on that country in future because its really hard to be on that situation especially for their citizens.
1966  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: July 15, 2022, 11:23:16 PM
Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022?

Or a new All-Time High (ATH) in 2022?

Will it hit ATH at 2022? If we say yes, what are you going to do? Invest as much as you can and get rich real quick and change your life?
Perhaps he has already invested and is asking this question to make him feel better "Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? "  Grin

But if OP wants to get rich quickly as you said. Then he needs to buy a lottery ticket and try his luck, it could be beneficial for him. as bitcoin isn't a quick rich scheme. You have to be a long-term holder. And hodling isn't as easy as people think you have to fight your emotions.
Regarding when Bitcoin will reach the price of $100k, no one can say for sure, because we are not fortune tellers who can know the future.
So we have to be sure that the target of $100k will definitely be achieved by Bitcoin, although we don't know when it will happen.
Our task now is to collect as many Bitcoins as possible, because when our target is reached at least we already have a lot of Bitcoins.

Some people predict that it will happen this year but I guess this is not going to happen knowing bear market season is strong these days so I guess we will be at shaky market condition maybe until the end of this year. For sure many people also lost hope to see this to come so I guess many investors are now preparing for next halving because from there we will get more better chances to see great price than speculating it to come this year.
1967  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: July 15, 2022, 12:03:38 PM
I think after this global epidemic, a lot of problems have occurred in sports because spectators can't watch every match live. And finally, we are entering a transitional period, namely normalization where one by one sports can be watched live even though they still have to follow strict health protocols.

I think it's only temporary because once everything can go back to normal, we can all watch all the games we want live. So we better enjoy every game and we choose which one we want.

Well at the moment since the vaccine has been created the restriction has been lower down that's why we can see a live audience cheering up for their teams, if many people would decide to get vaccinated for sure we can see all of this almost back to normal. And for sure at this moment many people are not thinking about covid since looking at streets people seems moving on and back on their feet.
1968  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You have not lost a dime if your Bitcoin is in your wallet on: July 15, 2022, 10:21:52 AM
Right, definitely it makes total sense to hold coins rather than selling them at a loss, just because what? Didn't receive desired profit within an expected period of time? That doesn't make sense, when it comes to investments in which we already should be aware and accept that the market is volatile and we have to tolerate every volatility with dedication and patience to make a profit out of it!
This only happens when the trader doesn't have more money to spend on trading and instead holding it the only option they can do is to sell back then buy on what they think the cheapest price to recover. And provably there are many experience traders earn more profit from doing this so I guess this decision will always matter depends on the traders capabilities.
1969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware wallet demand increases in 2022 bear market as exchange scramble on: July 14, 2022, 10:56:27 PM
As the 2022 bear market persists, crypto exchanges announce losses in revenue such as coinbase and binance.
A Hardware crypto wallet firm LEDGER has announced the highest shipment of its hardware wallet in 2022, amid the present bear market the CEO Pascal Gauthier went further during an interview with coin telegraph that the 2022 bear market has a heavy impact on centralized exchanges since users of those exchanges are moving funds off the exchange because of the fear losing they funds and optioning to store them on a hardware wallet where they have control of the private keys this results into the increase in the demands of the ledger hardware wallet presently.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/hardware-crypto-wallet-sales-increase-as-centralized-exchanges-scramble

It create huge demand because many people got afraid on what will happen to their coins stored their since there are scenarios that exchange scam or hold the balances of their users for long years. And people cannot afford that it will happen to them that's why this series of events is not surprising because many people want to secure their funds and wait until the bull run came safely.
1970  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret buying before the dip on: July 14, 2022, 12:23:23 PM
It must be very uncomfortable to have a 50% deposit reduction now. So I am more than sure that almost all those who bought bitcoin before the collapse are regretting their purchases. It's elementary mentally pressure, because you could buy a lot more coins now. And now you have to wait for who knows how long to make a profit.

Regret on taking early decision is normal since no one want to lose their money on bad trades but if they are experience trader for sure they can easily move on and learn from those mistake. Although we cannot predict the future but if we didn't sell what we bought on supposed to be dip for sure this will not a total loss to us because we can still recover the value once bitcoin price will recover again.
1971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 14, 2022, 10:46:42 AM
There are too many rumors circulating but they were really vague as both camps and Showtime will try not to offend each other with the ongoing negotiations. So it's like we can only say that news is only reliable when it comes directly from Espinoza head of Showtime, Al Haymon of PBC, Ellerbe the manager of Spence, Spence himself, and Crawford himself. Stephen Espinoza of Showtime said this week that he is confident of a deal this month.
And if I'm not mistaken though, the news can only come out from the mouth of the reliable sources like you mentioned and they could include this in the contract itself. And if anyone break that, for sure the fight might got cancelled or if not, some monetary incentive of the parties that broke the agreement. And maybe this is the reason why it is so quiet that we don't hear anything from either of them because the negotiations are very secret that only a few people only knows what's going on behind. And all we hear are just noises and rumors.

Don't know if that is the really case but actually if they remain silent towards that rumored fight then maybe they cannot hype up that huge match knowing that boxing still a business and sold millions of dollars ticket sales, so maybe there's no deal has been discuss yet toward thus fight and those news is just purely a rumor.
1972  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Spanish exchange 2gether shutdown over market crash on: July 13, 2022, 09:55:08 PM
This is the problem with this type of exchanges, why they can't just allow the users to withdraw their own money. It's not the exchanges money and it's the users, why they're giving them hard time of taking back their money.
Changing policies and withdrawal fees will just result for them to lose more customers and if they're about to end it, they should keep it professional and how their customers deposited easily, they should reciprocate for withdrawals.

Those exchange is just looking only for fast profit and didn't want to wait for good developments to happen that's why they suffer from this consequences. And its not good to see this happening since for sure many people lose their money for their shutdown. If they could just sustain their operation and remain what they currently have to make their costumer stays as well as they run a series of promotions to survive for sure they will not be in trouble.
1973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: July 13, 2022, 12:22:10 PM
I think it is somekinda hard to spot match fixing in football as players can make many mistakes. But if I observe referee making weird decision and changing flow of match I become doubtful. Some referees I am sure get paid through stopping a specific team's good harmony. And also they sometimes give absurd chances to weaker times. These are examples I can observe in football matches in general.

But if the mistake is obviously done with there are many errors they do then we can conclude that the match is fix especially when we see that opponent is supposed to be a good team. Also referee might be involve since as you said they can manipulate the game thru their calls and sometimes it is noticeable since this can really affect the game. For sure there are many red flags on this but we surely didn't notice yet the other more.
1974  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoinpenguin.com on: July 13, 2022, 10:59:58 AM
am sure this casino has never had a signature campaign on this forum before, which is a clear sign it is a danger zone which I will advise no one to use this casino.
A signature campaign in this forum is not a benchmark for determining if a casino is a scam or not. I mean, 1xbit has made almost 10 signature campaigns here, and yet they are currently the leading scammers in casino business.

I've just got acquainted with this casino and this was my mistake! I've made a deposit got welcome bonus and wagered it. I requested withdrawal for around $500 (don't remember for sure, there were 7000+ DOGE ) but they just disabled my account without any reason. When I contacted support team, they refused to share the reason for my account being blocked, just "it's administration decision, we are sorry for this situation". Nice response:) This casino is a SCAM. They just take your money and then block you!
Learn the habit of looking up and reading reviews before you use a casino, or else you will end up looking for threads in different forums to report how you were scammed by different casinos.

i do agree that sig campaign is not a determining factor whether a casino is a scam or not. it is on how they treat their players and if they are honouring the players' winnings or not. just like what GerodG stated about his experience. if they are not giving clear explanation why they are not releasing the winnings, then, something is wrong with the situation. better play on reputable ones where you have at least peace of mind with your funds.

Campaign is just accessories for a casino to have since by this they can hype up their project and increase their traffic but this is not really an indicator that they are reputable because how they handle their gamblers is the most ideal thing we need to look, especially in times their gambler win a huge amount of money since if they payout then we can say that they are good and have good fundings to operate their casino.
1975  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 12, 2022, 10:35:13 PM
My predictions are that the drop will continue in July, we may go below $14,000, the decline may continue most of the summer and then bitcoin will start bouncing upwards, I'm not here analyzing but just guessing, I hope bitcoin will disappoint me and keep going up in July though I rule it out that.
the fact is that nobody knows when cryptocurrency price is going to be normalise because looking at this year market plans. It is quite obvious that the market kept showing negativity which it is open to everyone that this July that is no hope of little experience of bullish increase in the cryptocurrency. Secondly, I don't base prediction of cryptocurrency to analyse what market will determine in the next step. Because i see cryptocurrency like unpredictable currency which nobody knows it's regulations and validation

If there's nothing events to await which can hype the investors this year then maybe we cannot see any bullish season to happen this year, the bullish season I mean is the same what happen on halving season effect so most provably its either we go stable or drop. But for sure many are aware of possible dump so for this we must prepare for something bad to happen so that we can get the best position as possible to gain profits for future pumps.
1976  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can a non technical newbie can learn about bitcoin? on: July 12, 2022, 12:08:02 PM
Learning about bitcoin is not tough. There are many Youtube channels and free resources that you can explore to get started with. You can also try various courses from platforms like Udemy and coursera.

Its tough to learn bitcoin if you have zero knowledge about it and you don't have any knowledgeable guys around you to teach about the basic things you need to learn about it. And its just the most interested guy about it will survive because for sure not everyone can afford to see those scams happening in crypto space. But if newbies really want to learn some good information about bitcoin they should go on this forum since we are jam packed of information and anything they need to know is already here.
1977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 12, 2022, 10:50:16 AM
Reports today that Ayton is close to finalizing a deal to go to the Indians Pacers. If they let Ayton go in a trade that doesn’t also involve Kevin Durant going to the Suns it is going to end up being one of the worst moves Phoenix has made in a long time. It’s crazy to see an NBA franchise acting so emotionally. I imagine that whatever happened between Ayton and management was enough that they were unwilling to even offer him a contract extension.
This ain't a good move from them Suns. So much was produced by Ayton that made them reach the Finals and then the West semis last year.
I don't know what they are planning but I have an idea they are going for small ball copying strategies from the likes of the Warriors and Celtics.
CP3 is getting older, chemistry will be a better ally for them than looking for the star players and force a championship roster. What the Nets did was enough proof that it fails.

Ayton has a lot of potential and he's so young with huge potential, if Suns just maximize and develop him very well for sure we can see more dominant Ayton in hard wood. But guess they are in rush of things and want to see fast result and this will totally put them in questionable state this season. For sure they can't copy the small ball line up of Warriors because GSW roosters are built and not been traded from other teams so for sure they cannot copy the team chemistry and might struggle on this area.
1978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get your coins out of Coinify ASAP on: July 10, 2022, 10:56:15 AM
It is like a domino effect.
True.
And everyone should really be aware of where they're keeping their coins. It's much better if it's on a cold wallet or in a hardware wallet or anywhere where you're holding the key.
As much as we trust the exchanges where we trade, it is still a must that we should be wary of events like this and we know how and where to keep our funds safely.

Aside from being aware on where we store our coins we should also need to know the updates of financial status of the owner and the company because for being  updated we will know on where their platform heading the same like this. And good to see a warning same like this because it could raise awareness from people who's sleeping and let their money hold on Coinify and other platforms.
1979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 09, 2022, 12:28:33 PM

And he has been criticized as well by many basketball analyst, leaving Nets and then the Warriors winning the championship? That could really hurt Durant inside that's why he wanted to leave and find a new team to win again. But time is running out, it will be hard to find a championship caliber team in exchange of him.

Actually Durant should not be surprise that the Warriors won a championship because the Warriors are already a championship team before he joined the team. He only made the Warriors better but they are still good even without him, as Draymond said, "we don't need you", he was right.

https://nba.nbcsports.com/2018/11/16/draymond-green-reportedly-told-kevin-durant-we-dont-need-you-we-won-without-you-leave/

This is the reason why Durant join the Warriors because he know that this is already a championship caliber team and he will get more higher chances to get a ring with them compare if he stays in OKC. Now its proven that he cannot lift up his team when he's on Brooklyn and this one indicate that they don't need Durant to win another championship.

Better not categorize each user to avoid getting bad impression towards what you do and maybe there are users will not like what they are reading base on the meaning you put on this thread. Anyways its cool to see how you put some efforts to write this since for sure it takes time before to write up this long statement towards each users classification here.
