1961  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Prediction for 2024 on: June 27, 2021, 12:00:40 AM
It's okay.
Other analysts are predicting it higher than your numbers but your's looks a bit real or you are just shy to put higher figures.  Cheesy
As long as it goes $100k in 2024, I may be already happy with it. That will mean a lot and maybe that's also the point when people will recognize that Bitcoin is real and not just some money-making thing of the billionaires out there.
1962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 26, 2021, 02:15:17 PM

Stephen A. said yesterday that Brook Lopez is a liability inside the court because of his slowness and he can't defend the paint when he is into a pick and roll. Now the Bucks proved that it is false and they capitalize on their height plus their defense putting a one sided Game 2 win against the Hawks.
How about we start admitting Stephen A. Smith had always been wrong with his predictions and the ability to choose what team he is rooting for. Maybe we could also start realizing that we should not follow him anymore.  Grin
Just kidding, he is a good way to receive news but that doesn't mean we should also follow his opinions.
He is a good news anchor but not an analyst.

Here is a good fact. Bucks lose game 1 with a 3 point lead from the Hawks while Bucks win with a 30+ point blowout game.
They just need information about them but in the end, it will be Bucks until the end, "Sorry for the Hawks fans."
1963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 26, 2021, 07:26:28 AM
The suns chemistry is ruin by Chris paul return, in the last two games their style of play is very different, they were attacking and moving without the ball when Chris return they need to wait for Chris to set up a play, they should have tried what is working, certainly, the Clippers can't keep up with the level of plays in those two games, but I think game 4 will be alright for the suns.
Oh, c'mon, that I disagree with. We cannot blame it all with Chris Paul, it could be just their chemistry or we can call it an off night for the Suns while good night for the Clippers.
Fastbreak points may be low but that's because Cameron Payne is hurting his ankle. He is even listed probable for Game 4.
We all saw how he turned the game around at game 2 and it will affect the Suns in terms of help for offensive options.
Booker needs to play at his best next game.

Lol, just woke up to see the Bucks by 40 points lead? So I cash out to cut my losses.

I still have the over 221.5, I don't know if they can cover it, they need to cover 46 points in the fourth quarter if my month is correct to have a chance to at least win. Maybe someone can refresh me as to what happen in the first two quarters that I missed.
I was overwhelmed at how the Hawks win Game 1 and I thought they could steal another. I lose and never had the chance to pull it out.
Defense is what happened in the first half. The Bucks stayed in front of every shooter and even Lopez and Giannis are stepping up instead of just waiting in the paint.
1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the older Meme coins a good investment? on: June 25, 2021, 03:23:43 PM
Investing in meme coins carries a lot of risk because you should invest with a capital you can control because your money can be lost at any time or the value of those projects may go to zero whenever so or be cautious with such projects.
Yes, that's correct.
Most of the time small investors are the target of these memecoins. It's cheap and a lot of times we also submit to our greediness with a promise of hype by known players of this market.
But all of that is their scheme for they know we will bite their trap for a big profit short-term.
It's an old school strategy and if you are a veteran in the crypto industry it will be easy to tell what you should avoid.
1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 25, 2021, 11:00:37 AM
Suns are in foul trouble throughout the game, game 3 was really for the Clippers and they made it successfully. Pane was also injured and did not come back in the game, so all the advantage was really on the Clippers. I'm not sure if they can even the series, but hopefully they'll play the same intensity in game 4 and Beverly has to still do his work on Booker.

The Clippers really loved to be behind 0-2 in this playoffs. They tend to become stronger during game 3 and up. I'll be more impressed with Paul George If he can bring his team in the Finals this year. I mean PG has been slandered as much as LeBron in this league.
Though I'd love to see the Phoenix Suns in the Finals, but I also like Paul George to be in the biggest stage. He had an amazing career back in the Pacers but Miami was too much for him. This might be his only chance to win the championship.
Yes, and when they are in momentum it gets scary.
They might even finish it off in just one sweep but that's just me being too excited.  Grin

Zubac proved something now, he can do it against Ayton. I guess his confidence is back now that PG13 needs a lot of help from everybody.
The last time they were against Jazz he was benched most of the time because they are using the small line-up to abuse Gobert being slow to react.
Now, they definitely need someone to guard Ayton and more.
1966  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's a good time for bitcoin on: June 25, 2021, 07:11:02 AM
I will be more glad if these whales start to sell and will have a hard time buying afterward.
That means Bitcoin could be scattered to anyone. i.e. small investors or merchants.
Somehow it could also balance the market and not allowing to have sudden dumps and pumps in larger numbers.
Manipulation will be minimized and volatility may not be that high anymore. It can happen but it needs patience for individual waiting for the right entry point. $29k was a good choice.
1967  Other / Off-topic / Re: John McAfee Found Dead in Spanish Cell After Extradition Announcement on: June 24, 2021, 05:30:21 PM
He said before he was politically attacked, who knows. It may be true but no one will tell about that story now or even prove it.
Where could his Bitcoin stash be? He may have passed it to anyone years ago or it may be at his last will. I am a little curious how much could that be.
I said a lot of bad things about him in this forum but dying is different.
I wish he could rest in peace although taking your own life is not a good way.
1968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 24, 2021, 11:51:11 AM
Kawhai needs to clear his way too. A very tough game with Clippers even playing at home if CP3 will help the Suns, though all those 2 past games are close for sure adding CP3 to the lineup will make it tougher for the Clippers.

They need to have Kawhai to balance the game, for sure it will be more interesting if both stars are playing.

Clippers is in need of a winning combo else Suns might take a game from their home and finished this series in a much quicker way.
Yes, I do hope he will also be back before this series ends in a sweep. (assuming there will be)
The stakes are too high, this could be his 3rd team to win a championship and tie with Lebron James.
It would be lovely if he will not miss that awesome feat.

Just to calm a bit about the Finals, here is a piece of news just recently popped out my notification.

1969  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is point of Tehnical analysis? on: June 24, 2021, 09:37:22 AM
I disagree.
If there is no TA where would you get information on how the market "might" move.
It's a way of reading the movement basing on every possible history that Bitcoin passed through.
Yes, you could say it's speculating only but I'd take that rather than a bad "guess".
Traders used all their efforts to make it, and I consider it art even with how volatile Bitcoin will move. If they can hit a 70% chance then it becomes way cooler.
1970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 24, 2021, 04:40:57 AM
Clippers better resurrect Kawhi's injured knee otherwise this is over in 4 or 5, i give them zero chance without him, despite being very close to steal one last night.

Now you get CP3 back in your starting lineup, extra motivated and hungry to play, Cam Payne off the bench running wild with the second unit (you saw how he torched them for 29/9), and most importantly there's no Rudy Gobert on the Suns' roster who you can exploit going small. #SunsIn4🧹   Grin

BREAKING: Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul intends to make his return for Game 3 of WCF against the Los Angeles Clippers barring unforeseen setback, league sources tell @YahooSports

Good news for Suns fans, bad for Clippers.
If Suns can win during CP3 is out, this can become a blowout game with him back.
I bet they are now losing their confidence but if they could force Terance Mann to run their offense there might be a bit of a change. He is too damn shy with PG13 and even when he is near the rim he hesitates and try to pass the ball.
MVP award should not be the case here, a championship is better than it.
1971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so heavily undervalued? on: June 23, 2021, 04:18:44 PM
ICO, DeFi, NFT's, and now memecoins made investors forget about these old coins.
It's not just them, many names are buried because of these new platforms that are being created. They are hyped by celebrities and billionaires while Monero doesn't have that before.
Thankfully, Bitcoin was not affected and Ethereum also dodged that bullet.
We are now in the phase where they just want profit every time they hear about cryptocurrencies.
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 23, 2021, 02:26:07 PM
1st game of the ECF.

I trusted the Hawks against the Sixers and they might still do well against the Bucks, however, since this is game 1, I will favor the home to win here. Not only that they'll win, but I also believe that they will cover the spread before the Hawks will still start to figure out how to beat the Bucks.

Therefore my pick is Bucks -7.5.
Thanks for the analysis.
I will be tailing this as I see Hawks will have nothing to offer defending Giannis. Nets have Griffin to guard him and he did it quite well but who will it be with the Hawks roster?
Then, they have Tucker to challenge Trae Young and I bet he will have a hard time escaping him.
So yes, Bucks all the way for the game 1. I think Giannis will have a monster game later so props on him.
1973  Economy / Economics / Re: How Bitcoin Improves Financial Access And Inclusion on: June 23, 2021, 12:45:27 AM
You hit it right. I can say I am one of those unbanked human beings that is now using Bitcoin as my means of keeping the money.
I don't care what other people will try to tell me about how safer it is when it's just in fiat kept in a bank.
I know how to deal with my own security. I could just keep my cash in my drawer and try not to burn my house and it's still the same thing as keeping it in a bank.
But, it's way different when it's Bitcoin. I feel more secured and I know why. I am the manager of it and I don't need the bank clerk to tell me I can only take out this amount for this month. That's BS, that's my money.
1974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 22, 2021, 09:10:30 AM
No NBA today in what seems like the first time in a while. Tomorrow brings the Suns vs the Clippers for a game two matchup that will still not be featuring Chris Paul or Kawhi Leonard. Devon Booker stole the show in game 1, but Playoff P wasn’t too bad either. I’m looking for Beverly to be a pesky nightmare tomorrow and Paul George to be putting up lots of shots. I think DeAndre Ayton is the difference maker though. If he continues to dominate in the paint the Suns are hard to stop.
We got some good rest too from an every night session of watching.  Cheesy
Zubac will also be a game-changer for the Clippers. We will witness here if he can do something about the massive offensive attack of Ayton.
Clippers cannot do the same play as what they did with Jazz using Gobert as their attack point because of his slow reaction.
Ayton is faster than Gobert and help defense will always come because of the Suns' chemistry on both ends.
Small ball should be set aside now to have a chance to steal 1 game.
1975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stable coins take control of Bitcoin as crypto adoption in the future? on: June 22, 2021, 02:37:26 AM
Bitcoin was made too early for us people.
We don't even have the guts to take the risk of volatility and apply it to our daily system.
Because of that, I agree that it will be stablecoins that are near the truth of being the near future of financial development.

20 years. That may be the time that we will be ready for Bitcoin to be included in everything. I hope I am still alive to see that day.
1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 21, 2021, 07:41:57 AM
Absolutely, in my opinion, that's the one of the most unpredictable seasons in the NBA.
I would have never imagined that the Nets and Lakers would be eliminated in the playoffs quickly and they were favorites to win this season
Another detail was the numerous injuries during this season, which made the NBA even more unpredictable.

If every player will be safe until the end of this season, maybe it will be the Suns who will take the throne.
Booker is in his prime and he gained a lot of confidence thanks to Chris Paul who has been a great effective veteran to teach the young Suns.
With Ayton also gaining experience he is becoming a big threat under the rim. The Clippers can't just leave him there because I'm sure he will get more offensive rebounds or others will if he can position a good box.
I think that is why Booker had a triple-double thanks to Ayton's success in boxing out.
1977  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: June 21, 2021, 02:55:18 AM
Fourth, pride. It's like admitting defeat.
If ever this happens it will be a whole new world. Yes, just like the song.
Kidding aside, it's really the volatility but there are already stable coins that were created, and yet they won't use it still.
Transparency will also be an issue. They don't want anyone to just peek at every movement they will make. It's not about privacy but secrecy.
1978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 19, 2021, 11:06:44 AM
But overall, both teams will miss their respective key players. Although the odds are widely gap with the Suns as favorites on Game 1, I don't look at it that way.
I have the same view.
And the only player I have been thinking of is Patrick Beverley. This dude will be the key player of the Clippers.
Be the pest for Booker or CP3 (when he is able to play). In terms of speed, Beverley could match both guards of Suns. Height is not a problem if he could stop them before they can even take off or force them to pass the ball.
While Suns' key player will be Ayton. Zubac will probably end up in foul trouble most of their game.
1979  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Practical Advice For A Beginner Trader? on: June 19, 2021, 07:51:25 AM
My practical advice is to be practical.
Don't force yourself if you are not good at it. But if you are decided to go that way then try trading what you can only afford to lose.
This means you won't regret it even if it goes to zero.
Using that kind of mentality you are avoiding the bad reactions to swings. i.e. Panic selling or greed.
Create a plan. How many dollars are you aiming for, just for starters? $100 profit? If you hit that what's next? If necessary you should create a record for it.
1980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 18, 2021, 03:34:47 PM
spiritual power or consulting to God before placing bet can't do anything related to winning in gambling.
Because I think people have a ritual to do something and it is considered to have a positive effect. Maybe you won't believe it. But most people do prayer and effort. They don't just use strategy but expect help from those they believe in.
There are those who believe it is luck if they win, but luck will not keep coming, so they need a strategy and pray, so that it will be eased. IMO

Or, it became a habit. Gamblers do that. They blow their cards, they wish something with lady luck, or they have some kind of habitual movement before putting the bet. i.e. cross fingers.  Grin
If it gives them fun to do it or they think it makes the chances higher then why not.
But everything will go down to how the roll will come out. It's luck-based mostly using an algorithm like how the raffles are being done.
There are games where it could be cheated like lotto, dice, and other computer-based games today.
God won't help with such a game. If He will talk to you, He might just say to use that to fill your tummy. Just like how your mom taught you.  Grin
