19781  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS Leader is dead on: July 14, 2017, 03:27:45 AM
Assad was elected after he rigged the presidential polls. He has used barrel bombs and artillery against the civilian targets, and has rejected all the offers for compromise. He is actually responsible for the rise of the ISIS in Syria.

The most barbaric of the atrocities in Syria against the civilians were committed by the same rebels which you are supporting. Have you seen the video of the beheading of the 12-year old Palestinian boy by the rebels? Or have you read the story of a 1-year old infant blown to pieces using an explosive device, just because his father refused to join the rebels?
19782  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: July 14, 2017, 03:25:31 AM
russia and china.
they got soldiers, proper weapon, resource and history in war so their chance of winning is high but the result would still be in tactics and if the people fully support them.

If Russia and China unite, then that will be the perfect alliance. Russia has the best defense technology in the world, and China has the largest army in the world. And on top of that, these countries are neighbors, which makes troop movement a lot easier.
19783  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: July 14, 2017, 02:05:37 AM
In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.

According to you, what can be the best punishment for these rapists so that no one else should think of raping a women. I like the punishment which is given in most of the Muslim countries - hanged to death in public. Do you think that this is fair or they should marry the victim???

Muslim's way of punishing rapists is quite good but let us not also forget that in Islam the victim of rape does not easily recieve justice by hanging the rapists. Most of the victims if they can't present enough evidence like thorn clothes for example or injuries as signs they struggled with the rapists, the victim herself or himself must be killed. No one will marry her and she will be considered defiled and unclean. I still think rapists deserve death penalty but not the muslim way. The victims must be saved.

You are having a wrong impression about the punishment of rape under the Islamic law. In Islamic nations, less than 1% of the actual rapes are reported. This is due to the fact that if they are reported, then the victim is more likely to face the punishment than the perpetrator.
19784  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Qatar is still the richest country in the world on: July 14, 2017, 02:03:02 AM
It is actually crazy to me how much money the average person makes in Qatar. I could live like a king in my country (a very highly developed, first world country) for three years from that amount. As a matter of fact, I could live like a king here for FIVE years with just the amount that a single person in Qatar makes annually.

It is insane!

Qatar is the largest exporter of LNG i the world, and they have a population of only around 300,000 nationals (plus another 3 million expats). So all the revenues from the LNG sales is divided up by just around 40,000 families.
19785  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2017, Ukraine, do not miss the chance! on: July 14, 2017, 01:49:55 AM
In 2017, Ukraine is given a chance to clear its territory of Russian invaders.  The fact is that in 2018, Russia will host the World Cup in football..

There are no Russian soldiers in Donbass. So a battle between the DPR/LPR and Ukraine does not essentially mean a battle between Ukraine and Russia. But if the Ukies want to invade Crimea, then it is going to be another story.
19786  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: July 14, 2017, 01:47:29 AM
Russia is modernising it's equipment, and by 2020 they will have 99% of modern weapons. And if the war start, there won't be winner. You can't destroy such big countries. Russia have good rockets, USA have good rockets, planes and so on.. So it will just be stupid war.  If they use nuclear weapons, than, I think we won't find out who is winner because we can't survive that.

Fair enough. It will be next to impossible for the Americans to invade all of Russia. This is something which even Napoleon and Hitler couldn't achieve. If the Americans attempt this, then there will be tens of millions of American casualties, without any good results to speak of.

I agree, that world peace is at best guaranteed not by words, but by power balance. And with the level of technology at mankind disposal, that means mutually assured destruction (MAD).

To continue to deter in an era of strategic nuclear equivalence, it is necessary to have nuclear (as well as conventional) forces such that in considering aggression against our interests any adversary would recognize that no plausible outcome would represent a victory or any plausible definition of victory. To this end and so as to preserve the possibility of bargaining effectively to terminate the war on acceptable terms that are as favorable as practical, if deterrence fails initially, we must be capable of fighting successfully so that the adversary would not achieve his war aims and would suffer costs that are unacceptable, or in any event greater than his gains, from having initiated an attack.
    — President Jimmy Carter in 1980, Presidential Directive 59, Nuclear Weapons Employment Policy

The doctrine of MAD was officially at odds with that of the USSR, which had, contrary to MAD, insisted survival was possible. The Soviets believed they could win not only a strategic nuclear war, which they planned to absorb with their extensive civil defense planning, but also the conventional war that they predicted would follow after their strategic nuclear arsenal had been depleted. Official Soviet policy, though, may have had internal critics towards the end of the Cold War, including some in the USSR's own leadership.

    "Nuclear use would be catastrophic."
    — 1981, the Soviet General Staff

Russia is at an advantage in having spread over a larger surface area when compared to the United States. The total surface area of Russia is almost 2.5 times that of the mainland United States.
19787  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your opinion on recreational drug use on: July 14, 2017, 01:43:18 AM

This law was introduced not to help the drug users, but to prevent the immigration authorities deporting illegal immigrants to Mexico, if they are convicted of minor drug offenses. Also, decriminalization is not equal to legalization.
19788  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sodomite Propaganda Targeting Children on: July 14, 2017, 01:40:31 AM
I do not know who's worse, whether it's gay or religious fanatics.
one does not need to follow any particular religion to recognise the damage sodomy does to society. of the 7 billion human beings on this planet the great majority do not want homosexualist propaganda infecting their children and they aren't all american right wing christian evangelicals.

There are no american right wing christian evangelicals in Russia, and even then it was the first European country to create a law which makes the spreading of homosexual propaganda to minors a criminal offence.
19789  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: July 14, 2017, 01:37:48 AM
I think that every person can be brought to this action. Some hunger, some other factors and promises of immortality or power. Everything depends on the price of the issue.

Does cannibalism give you immortality? A few months back, I saw a documentary on the ongoing cannibalism in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The militiamen believe that they will get the powers of their enemies, if they eat their liver and heart.
19790  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Did the Philippine government lied? on: July 14, 2017, 01:35:24 AM

To know the news is true what not, we have to look from different sources, that's my opinion

Sometimes every news that we listen and watch is not accurate on the true story. Other might add and edit something on the news to become more interesting to everyone.

If the information remains classified, then the media can do little about it. Either they don't know what happened, or they are too afraid to publish the truth. I just hope that the truth will come out in the future.
19791  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who is Putin? on: July 14, 2017, 01:33:39 AM
Putin is a great and intelligent leader in my opinion and I'm not even Russian

Putin is only partial ethnic-Russian, I think. He is something like 50% Russian, 25% Karelian, and 25% Vepsian. I read somewhere that his great grandmother knew only the Karelian language.
19792  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Liu Xiaobo RIP on: July 14, 2017, 01:32:02 AM
The world failed him. Other nations could have done more to help Liu. Ever since the end of WW2, the world has turned a blind eye to the human rights atrocities happening inside China. Look at what is happening in Tibet and the other minority regions.
19793  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Video evidence of Japan's sexual slavery. on: July 14, 2017, 01:30:06 AM
If I am not wrong, Japan has refused to apologize for raping the Korean and Chinese women during the WW2. Hundreds of thousands of women were victimized, and the Japanese can't just escape from the responsibility.
19794  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is there going to be WAR in China and India ? on: July 14, 2017, 01:27:50 AM
No nation will engage to any war just like that. War is a billion dollar expense, in other words its very expensive. Imagine how can a very rich country with good economy then engage to war, war tends to crush not just properties but also tends to collapse economy. War nowadays is more carry-on cyberspace.

Cyber-war doesn't resolve territorial disputes, which is the root cause of any conflict involving China. For that a physical war is necessary, such as the one which was fought in 1962 between India and China. (China gained around 40,000 sq.km of territory in that war).
19795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people fear 1st Aug hardfork? on: July 13, 2017, 03:46:18 AM
Because the hard fork might cause a chain split which could put users at risk losing their bitcoin and that's why some users feared the upcoming chain split on August 1. The reason is if segwit2x didn't get enough support from the miners before August 1, UASF will activate in august 1 and will cause a chain split.

In my understanding, if we are in the possession of the private key to the BTC, then there is no chance that we will lose our coins. But if the BTC is stored in exchange wallets, then there is a serious risk that you will get only one of the coins out of the two (or three, if you add in Jihancoin / Bitmaincoin as well).
19796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Elitists Ignoring the 3rd world on: July 13, 2017, 03:35:24 AM
In my understanding, the largest number of Bitcoin users are from the United States, followed by the European Union. Japan may be at the third place, followed by Russia and China. So it will be wrong to say that a majority of the users are from the developing world.
19797  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Handling splits: UASFs, BIP148, etc. on: July 13, 2017, 03:32:47 AM
I am terribly confused about all this. If Bitcoin splits in to three different currencies by August, and if I am keeping my coins in my Blockchain.info wallet, then can anyone tell me what I need to do in order to claim all three coins? How can I get the private key from the (old) Blockchain.info wallet?

19799  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ethnic Azeri girls from Azerbaijan were subjected to sex trafficking. on: July 13, 2017, 02:07:46 AM
It is not interesting for many to forbid it until the daughter does not expose her to sexual trafficking. This is a disgusting business that needs to be stopped.

Most of the time it is the orphan girls and those from the broken families who are driven in to sex trafficking rings. I know many cases from Nepal, where the traffickers deliberately preyed on girls from broken families.

Yes, in most cases they rape those girls whom no one can protect. Therefore, girls should be given weapons, a gas can or an electric shock with which to protect themselves. Only in those countries is not very affordable things.

Self-protection techniques must be taught. But there will be little impact unless the system changes. It is the corrupt policemen and the border guards who are forming the backbone of this cartel. They must be destroyed.
19800  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is there going to be WAR in China and India ? on: July 13, 2017, 02:05:51 AM
The last time when there was a Sino-Indian war (in 1962), a section of the Indian communists (especially those in the states of West Bengal, Kerala and Tripura) were supporting the Chinese against their own people. This can repeat in the future as well.
