Almost every day I read a topic of someone been scammed out of money. Well, this is a course of life and scams will exist as long as exists human race. What makes me laugh though is methods scammers use lately. Nothing inventive, not even an attempt to make it look legit. "Successful trader will make you 50% in an hour". "BTC refund department". "BTC doubler". And dozens of others so obvious one has to be a newborn baby to fall for. I wouldn't be surprised if soon there will be messages from "BTC Support Department" or anything along these lines. How can anyone sane fall for this?
I received a call from my "bank support line" a while ago. Now these people were real con artists, they had all my data, used correct chat scripts etc. It all sounded so legit I almost missed the moment they asked me for SMS confirmation code, at which point I realized it's a scam. Not being sympathetic to these guys but at least they were highly professional and inventive scammers, unlike those I mentioned above.
Well, they just look dumb to you because probably, you're more knowledgable now. Their targets are not those that has lots of experience and knowledge about crypto. Remember that most of their targets are those newbies that has less and, some that doesn't have enough background for it. That is why they look dumb. |

Looks like the 1xbit is now clearing their name but some users don't want the answer of the 1xbit but now I think some users are testing again their website due to their honest review campaign. I'm not really sure if some of the open cases were legitimate or not but let's hope that the 1xbit will resolve most of their active cases to clear their name.
I believe, those users that joined to their review campaigns are neutral on what thoughts they have about 1xbit. Reviewing the site doesn't necesarrily mean that you should make some false claim about the site just to say that they have a good service. For sure Roobet has some some sort of back up if that happened. I agree. Almost no system is immune to data leaks or system hacks. I believe now hackers are more sophisticated and smarter, how they have to infiltrate and and hack data from the main companies, there are many leaks, including large companies, so a system that is immune, of course there must be a gap where it can be damaged by the hacking system, so from the internet there is nothing that is not maybe no matter how thick the security is, it will definitely hit if it happens. I believe roobet certainly has a special system if they store KYC data from customers and that backup must be there at another time when something is undesirable, such as a hacker who removes all of it. Even so, there are still some sort of security that can help protect a system. And there are also hackers that do not cause any damage to a system. There could be white-hat hackers that could help a system enhanced it security. Unfortunately, as time passes by, hackers also improves and find ways to break those securities. That is why security maintenance shouldn't be disregarded. |

Nobody cares as long as 1xbit get their sigs spammed all over the forum. Since no clean accounts want their money, these are the only accounts 1xbit can employ. I don't expect the campaign to run for a long time. In the end they'll have to end it because they'll realize that they are just wasting money.
Sorry but I have not noticed their signature campaign. Yobit could not run their signature campaign on the forum and many account got banned for participating on the signature campaign of yobit. I think same will happen for the participant of its signature campaign. I am quite sure that those users that participated on Yobit signature campaign recently got banned. Maybe, some of them has been tagged by some DTs, but I do not think that there were banning of accounts that happened for that. Am I right? It's not really shocking. We know that Curacao licenses are preferred because they do not have strong regulation. Some people seem to thing that being licensed makes a casino more trustworthy but there is really no evidence that licensed casino are any better than unlicensed ones. The license is nice for marketing but it means very little with regards to integrity of the casino.
Still I would prefer to play in a licensed casino when compared to an unlicensed one. For the purpose of license, they at least need to reveal the identity of the promoters, right? So in case if some of the promoters vanish with our hard earned money, then we will be able to track him, and recover the amount. In case of unlicensed businesses, none of this information will be available and by the time we trace the identities of the promoters, the money will be gone. But then, there is always a possibility of using fake documents to get the license. Yep. However your funds on that casino is still not guaranteed to be safe and away from being scammed even though they have their licensed. But IMO, it is still better to play on those casino that has liscense. There are casinos though, that do not have liscense but are doing better than those that has them. They are those that will thrive and get trust from the community. They will soon get their liscense as they are just starting. |
