1981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another person losses $20k to Fake Uniswap on Google Play on: November 21, 2020, 03:14:57 AM
I mean the UNISWAP was popular for a lot of users and I guess for beginners the application was really convincing.

When you just search the application in the play store and this application pop up you would just download it anyway plus the positive reviews would make it convincing as well.

It's better to just report the application so that there will be victims of this scam, people just need to be careful when it comes to downloading applications especially on Google play store.
1982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not Sure On Whether To Buy Crypto Or Not? on: November 20, 2020, 04:48:17 PM
On the fence about buying crypto? Or about buying MORE crypto? Here’s everything you need to know about why you should buy more. https://www.tap.global/why-you-should-buy-bitcoin

It depends on you if your gonna invest or buy cryptocurrency or not, but surely cryptocurrency is a good way to go when it comes to investment.

You not gonna realize the importance of it, so better have a lot of research and then experience cryptocurrency is the thing that would make you believed that cryptocurrency is worth investing in.'

No ones really trust bitcoin when it just getting started and probably most of the people think that bitcoin has no potential at all.
1983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world? on: November 19, 2020, 09:16:11 PM
I came to investigate the richest man in Africa, he is not a bitcoin users, but a business man who don't depend on bitcoin investment.
The richest man in the world, he is not a bitcoin users but a business man who use fiat Money to invest and make a good profit.
Is there any way someone can use bitcoin to invest and become the richest in the world?
Your opinion is needed.

I guess with high volume investment, investing in the right time, and at the same time selling your investment at the right timing or Bullrun I guess you could be pretty close.

With the amount of money that you could make it could easily make you rich, for example investing up to hundreds of bitcoin when the market price of bitcoin is around 20$-1000$ the profit that you are gonna make is high.

But still investing in bitcoin is not a constant profit you could probably make a profit after years of waiting compared to a company like apple or google so I don't think so.
1984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using crypto to help the homeless - (for real - with pics!) on: November 19, 2020, 07:38:56 PM
This seems really a great idea for helping the homeless, you helping the homeless and at the same time exposing them to cryptocurrency or bitcoin.

For sure some people will be interested in crypto, and it's a really big help when it comes to bitcoin adaptation, just continue what you are doing mate!. You are Amazing!
1985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPals Bitcoin is a scam on: November 18, 2020, 04:43:20 PM
I guess the system is really worst and the transactions are hidden, but I maybe it's just too early to assume this thing as they are just getting started into crypto for sure there will be changes.

- You dont own the keys

This is probably their disadvantage since this is more like a custodial bitcoin wallet.

To recap :
- You cannot withdraw your Bitcoin
- You cannot Pay anyone ( ironic ) , so it can't even go to another PayPal account

These two are something that I highly doubt for sure you able to withdraw your bitcoin and at the same time you could pay anyone with bitcoin at that account otherwise no people or investor is gonna use this system at all.

Without these features, it's just useless and it will be a huge failure, so for sure, there will be changes and updates about it.

1986  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about crypto profit on: November 18, 2020, 03:44:51 PM
Hi there!

I don't get it, why would people would invest in BTC now? current price is $16K but people still invest in it.

even if it reaches imaginary price of $32K people would get just +100% of what they've risked while you can invest in altcoins and MAYBE get easily 10x-100x on your risked amount...

I mean what's your thoughts about it?
What coin do you think will 100x within a year? <3

I guess it's not really that bad to invest at that market price even though there might be less profit and it really risky because the market price could go dump at any moment.

But for sure people thinks that bitcoin could still make it more than 16k$ that is why people keep on investing and also especially when the market is on hype people would always be interested to invest.

No doubt that bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency that has the potential to reach 100x and completely surpass other cryptocurrencies in the market.

1988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just poked that GUY on: November 17, 2020, 07:15:47 PM
A few months back, when BTC dumped to nearly $3200 (or it is $3800) at the beginning of the corona outbreak, a guy from my local who is now living in UK had posted in his facebook that "This is the end of bitcoin. I knew it has to be someday, there it is." I had nothing to say other than asking him to do his homework before doing such speculation. Well, I just have remembered that post and spent a few minutes to find that post and poked him the screenshot of 1 BTC equals to $16602. Guess his feeling now  Grin

The revenge  Grin I guess a lot of people just lost it when the market price just continues to go dump in the market and immediately thinks that the bitcoin is dead at that moment. When the market price is dumped around 3000$ ,the investors have a really good opportunity to invest in bitcoin so we could already expect for the market price of bitcoin to pump in the coming months or years.

But I guess it's normal for people without enough experience and it's really hard to hold your investment if you don't have your own funds or it's an emergency. What I do is always investing when the market price is a dump and sell a small percentage when the market price keeps on pumping. I do not really lose a profit since I buy at a low price and sell it at a higher price.

1989  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I trust cryptocurrencies? on: November 17, 2020, 04:53:35 PM
Honestly, it seems to me that are some big players that control this industry. I think they mine whenever they want to manipulate the prices. Can you please explain how can I trust crypto more? Thank you

Just like what most of the users here say the cryptocurrency like bitcoin is decentralized so the market price of the bitcoin and most of the crypto are depending on what is the supply and demand of it in the market.

Honestly, cryptocurrency is a great tech and can be trusted in my experience, but it's your own decision if your gonna trust it, something like price manipulation is possible but it's difficult to be done because it needs a group of people and with a high supply its serious funds needed to totally control the market, it only happened in a centralized system.

I suggest just make your own research on how cryptocurrency or bitcoin works and then try to experience it.
1990  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: CHRISTIAN ALBERT GAZA a.k.a "Xian Gaza" Introduce his own coin on: November 15, 2020, 06:48:06 PM

source fb page with 24k followers  : https://www.facebook.com/XianCoinBank

1991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My view on Bitcoin on: November 15, 2020, 06:30:03 PM
Since the introduction of cryprocurrencies such as bitcoin in our present world, a whole lot who took advantage of it has made tremendous profits from investing and acquiring it. Bitcoin with its global value currently has become an investment tool for many across the globe. It is also a means of storing wealth with the strong hope of heavy returns in the future. I keep wondering what bitcoin would rise to  in the nearest future. In past decades when it was newly introduced it all sounded like a joke, many made mockery of it in which I was one of such persons. But today we all fold our hands in regrets wishing we took hold of the opportunity when it wasn't make much impact as its doing in our present society today. If you haven't considered owning a bitcoin give it a thought today

Most people are gonna be afraid to try bitcoin at first since it was digital and most of the things on digital are scams. When bitcoin was just getting started people are just used to fiat money and online transactions are vulnerable to scams etc.

But I guess a lot of people realize the potential of investing in bitcoin, still, most of the people are gonna avoid it because we're just not used to it, and also it is not introduced by the government and not regulated so we can't really blame them if they are not trusting bitcoin. Hopefully, cryptocurrency will be the future of currency around the world since new technology could always be made.
1992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The last time we saw 16K on Bitcoin price on: November 15, 2020, 05:48:09 PM
It's hard to believe that bitcoin reach 16k$ once again but I guess this could only mean one thing for most of the investors, surely the potential for profit is high, Bitcoin market price could easily skyrocket up to 20k$ hopefully in the coming months.

Still, when it comes to altcoin there is still a lot of potential for investment in altcoin, trading altcoins in the market is really profitable even in altcoins or investing in a project. But I'm surprised that there was no major movement into these altcoins.
1993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: November 15, 2020, 02:27:14 PM
Investing in bitcoin at 3800$ and potentially selling it at 16500$ or even more is exactly how we want to play it and earn a big amount of profit investing in bitcoin.

But I guess most of the investors would hesitate to even invest in bitcoin is the market is just going down at a certain point, you would always have doubts that the market price of bitcoin is just gonna continue to fall apart plus tons of bad news and articles online that would discourage you. Only believers and experienced traders would be confident enough to invest and hold at that point. And then vice versa when the market price is pumping. For me, you just need to believe in bitcoin and ignore predictions.

Also, it's difficult to invest when you have so many wants, this is also my problem when I'm just getting started, we just want to spend our investment, sell it already not being patient, and then end up not getting a profit.
1994  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: ABS CBN Youtube account Hacked (Ripple scam giveaway) on: November 14, 2020, 05:51:39 PM
Meron kayang nabiktima ung hacker diyan?

1995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can people rebel against bitcoin? on: November 14, 2020, 05:23:57 PM
Last few months I saw an article, that make me shocked, how some killer open their mouth in the court to tell the judge how the woman paid them with bitcoin to her husband that is making court to start investigating how the transaction was made to carry out such act. Assume it's fiat money she use to pay the killer, do you think the court will still like to investigate the  type of currency used for the operation?
India is trying to Re-ban bitcoin in the country just because some people said is a scam currency.
What is your opinion?

I just the payment method should not really matter at all since the point here is the crime committed, and I think it just the fact that it was used illegally even if it was fiat money or bitcoin as long as it is used illegally.

Digital transactions on bitcoin maybe could be used as evidence since transactions could be recorded at some point, also bitcoin cannot really be fully banned in a country because it is a decentralized currency.

People are just getting the wrong idea because bitcoin is used illegally and mostly something like deep web transaction where bitcoin is the common currency.
1996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happened to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: November 14, 2020, 04:18:25 PM
I always think if a big country like America or China makes their own digital currency and has the same system as Bitcoin (develops its own blockchain system), then the digital currency of that country is recognized as a legal digital currency and is used for digital transactions by all countries, then I thought what would happen to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, would Bitcoin and cryptocurrency survive? or even Bitcoin and cryptocurrency will become legal too?

I think it would not really affect the bitcoin market, China, and America creating their own cryptocurrency than they could only be used in their own country in my opinion since it's kinda impossible to use when it comes to different countries.

Just like what happened to all of the bitcoin alternatives or altcoins that tried to copy the success of bitcoin, it just doesn't work getting the market price of it and the solid demand from its investor. Making digital currency is just gonna end up like a fiat currency since it might be centralized so it is just fiat money but digital just like Paypal.
1997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know the difference between Bitcoin and bitcoin? on: November 13, 2020, 03:34:55 PM
Honestly, for me, it doesn't matter anyway whatever you use, and personally, i don't even pay so much attention to it when typing bitcoin or Bitcoin.

I guess the B is better or maybe BTC at some point since this is available in the forum.

When we talk about Bitcoin as a blockchain, payment method, or a service, we are supposed to spell the word with an uppercase B.

When we talk about the currency or mention numbers and quantitates of the asset, the word should be spelt with a lowercase b.

Maybe the difference between the two is not really that important so anyone could just use Bitcoin or bitcoin in general. So in the end it is still understandable when explained here in the forum.
1998  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Nico David "bitaccelerate" SCAM review on: November 12, 2020, 11:25:34 PM

1999  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's discuss: How big will the next correction be? And when will it occur? on: November 11, 2020, 01:19:22 PM
In my opinion, at the end of 2020 the market price could either go pump up and reach its ATH in the market or at some point maybe could even surpass it.

Or in the coming months, the market price of bitcoin is just gonna sustain in its current market price around 10,000$-15,000$, breaking the 15,000$ resistance is I think gonna be difficult and 16,000$-20,000$ is I think where the movement in the market become kinda sketchy and will not sustain for long as long as it didn't break the ATH.
2000  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are using the name of Airdrop to take the wallet's private key. on: November 10, 2020, 09:52:11 PM

When you see this on your computer, it's already obvious or at least sus that this is a scam website.

I think no one in the right mind would be going to put their wallet private key just for a sketchy giveaway like this, I mean you can't risk it especially when you have a high amount of investment in your wallet.

Remember that there is no website that is gonna required you to put your private key especially in a giveaway, I mean there are some legit websites but don't do it for a giveaway.
Having the same thought. Fortunately, it never happened to me, and for sure I won't fall for it but I am afraid for the newbies who are only getting started because some of them might not have an idea or clue that they shouldn't share their keys with anyone especially on a sketchy website. That is why I will recommend for newbies that if happens they encounter this kind of Airdrop they should be wary and get away from it because there's no doubt that this is definitely a scam. Upon joining Airdrop, you can provide your wallet address but don't ever give your private keys.

I remember there is an exchange that required you to put your private key in order to trade in that exchange, I don't remember the name of the exchange but I need to sell the token that I got from the bounty.

The token can only be sell in that exchange so I have no choice but to put the private key from the MEW wallet but it turns out to be a legit exchange. So I guess there is some website that would require you a private key but there are only a few that are legitimate.
