1981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally, i find way into crypto trading on: January 30, 2020, 08:31:45 AM
Been using USDT/BTC pair, too. And yeah I am gaining enough profits from that pair that usually emphasize the value of btc. Your strategy seems working fine, the market goes on your side because btc pumped feom $8k-$9k. Newbies can really understand the essense of being a trader if they take a risk and do actual tradings. And yeah, that's the basic rule everyone here knew: Buy low and Sell it high.
1982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN YOU ARE CONFUSED REFER TO BITCOIN on: January 30, 2020, 07:08:35 AM
Bitcoin is kinda expensive-yes. But everyone can afford to buy some part of it. It is not required for us to buy the whole bitcoin if we can't afford it. We certainly still invest bitcoin and go for a long term hold just like what I am doing right now. Yeah, we can't also deny the fact that some investors wanna try cheap coins. For me, it is not about how cheap or how expensive a coin is. As long as we bought a worth to invest coins that gives us some profits.
1983  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Posible ba ang Zero-Fee Leveraged trading? ***Oo Posible!*** on: January 30, 2020, 05:40:14 AM
I would be very honest, I never heard about BBOD but the zero fee leverage trading is quite appealing. I am a Bitmex leveraged trader  and yeah in every execute entry of leverage trading may  fees yun. But what I considered the most is the trading platform of a particular exchange, the security followed by the fees of course. Anyhow, let me try BBOD to test the site.

1986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: January 30, 2020, 12:28:18 AM
Wow that was a great win! Never experienced to win that big in sports betting but this 2020. Anyway, my biggest win was around .01 btc and 1000 xrp in one gambling site. It's not huge for some but for me it's more than enough.  Cheesy after losing so much in gambling. There is still our so called, "lucky day".

You must be lucky predicting which team will you bet.
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are exchanges still listing shitcoins? on: January 29, 2020, 10:13:43 AM
Here's a simple logic;
New coin listing=more money for exchanges.

That is how they are gaining from those coins even if the coin is a shitcoin or not. As long as there are still trading or as long as there are investors that are buying those coins in their exchange, they are benefiting from it. And yeah that's some kind of an advantage to them. Anyway, exchanges also delisting some coins that aren't been useful to them and to the community.
1988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Silence on: January 29, 2020, 08:21:14 AM
That's quite inspiring. The criticisms you have received made you a strong person now. See, you have been motivated and determined by your own goals and that is to proved that you are right about Bitcoin. I can't blame you for thinking that Bitcoin is an easy quick money, well at least you have realized that it is not. Since it is volatile and there is no particular sure time when will it boom.

The moment we entered here, we should be ready with all the risks. Now you have learned your lesson and guess its's not only you but we (bitcoin holders) had learned too from our previous believes and mistakes. Let's just continue to grow inside. Bitcoin is a good investment, just know "when" to buy and sell.
1989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [AMA] The Life of a Professional Gambler on: January 29, 2020, 07:00:42 AM
Aww, you made me realized one thing when I read your answer to my question.
Discipline
You have that and not every gamble has that attitude. I feels like there is something that is lacking ingredient as a gambler and that is what I do see now with myself. I still managed to stop when I do think I am depositing my own money already and then lose. Now the only one who can help me is myself. Thanks for the answers being my reflections. Highly appreciated, bro.
1990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [Libra scammers] fake ICO on Twitter on: January 29, 2020, 06:14:19 AM
There has been so many issues about Libra (Facebook coin) since Facebook confirmed about the project. But this is what surprised me. This latest issue-- LIBRA COIN that was already created by scammers! And yeah, they have managed to  already fund raised about 200 ethereum. (as they falsely claimed)

It is so sad that scammers already impersonated Libra project, created fake ICO to scam people and promoting it directly on Twitter.

Here's the few insight:

Quote
A Libra scam has appeared on Twitter to conduct a fake initial coin offering (ICO) of its coin LIBT. The account has existed on Twitter since 2018, but data from Etherscan has shown that the ERC20 token was created on Jan. 26. While the scammers claim more than 200 ETH has been raised privately, the address the investments were sent to shows that most of the incoming transactions were empty.

  • It was created this January 26, 2020. And give an image to convince investors that this is the relaunch of LIBT (Libra Token) as an ERC20 token.

  • And this one is obviously a "bonus-scam scheme" in which a user will send out .1 eth in exchange of 300 Libra coin. What a lame, it was an obvious scam act.

  • Another, this one of the transactions that shows they only raised a total of 3 ethereum only with the same address and not because they gained that 3 eth because of the public sale.

Quote from: SparkToro
More than 40 percent of @CoinLibraToken’s 12,000 followers are fake.

Be informed, guys.

Be aware mga kababayan ko, wala po sana ni isa man sa atin dito maging sa ating pamilya at mga kaibigan ang maging biktima nito. May mga nag aangkin o hacker ng mga account sa youtube at gagamitin nila ang nasabing account na iyon upang maikalat ang mga ledger wallet phishing link o kaya naman ay lure you to the fake web.ledger site.

How do you manage to control gambling addiction?

You see, I started to feel that kind of attitude when I experienced to win huge at gambling and not contented with small profits. I have some reflections but it is hard for me to go back from being a small player which contented with small gains. How can you control yourself from greediness?

I am refraining from gambling slowly, which is not kinda effective.
1993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On most altcoins disappearing on: January 28, 2020, 12:01:35 PM
That's the bad side actually. Bitcoin were still highlighted not just because of those shitcoins that are popping around the market but because they can't really beat Bitcoin. Some investors claimed that their own altcoins will save them, let's face the reality.
"Altcoins weren't as the same as 2017".
They are starting to disappear now but Bitcoin remains the first spot. If not for the scammers, altcoins are still flying until now.

Be aware guys, there some kind of fake sites preferably phishing attacks again. Hackers will get youtube accounts and use that account to spread ledger wallet phishing links. Do not fall for this.

1995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No shill, just news. on: January 28, 2020, 09:31:26 AM
While newbies really are confused bout bitcoin gold, bitcoin cash and/or bitcoin classic, I believe they have that "awareness" already.
However, I quickly glimpse about bitcoin classic. And you were right, it is really misleading. I mean it can be confused as the origibal bitcoin. They should be smart knowing, and studying the difference between the original bitcoin vs the hard fork of bitcoin or etc.
1996  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over $9000! on: January 28, 2020, 07:30:58 AM
For us btc holders, this meme is very inspiring.  Grin and yeah it surpassed $9,000 but I am still hoping it will go beyond that. Very positive about that price bull run. We can still see small dumps yeah but this is gonna be the start of the slowly price increase of bitcoin. Let's keep our heads high and feel the presence of massive bull soon. Afterall, bitcoin halving is near approaching so  this is not yet the all time high.
1997  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Trading 101] Basic Trading Tutorial on: January 28, 2020, 06:21:14 AM
Yan talaga ang gusto kong matutunan and support at resistance level. Nahihirapan ako dyan dahil full cellphone user lang ako that is why sobrang hirap sa akin mag drawing din ng support at resistance lines. Marami pa akong gustong matutunan. Everyday is a learning proccess ika nga at sa trading, new learnings will help us to become a good trader.

Great thread, already bookmarked this threat for future use. Para sa akin madali mong naiparating at nai explain ang topic mo. Two thumbs up, OP.

Quote
“We have to come up with regulations so that we will be able to run after them,”

1999  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Recap on 2019 Philippine Development on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency on: January 27, 2020, 03:02:59 PM
Kung ikokompara nga sa mga nakaraang taon, madaming malaking development ang blockchain and cryptocurrency sa ating bansa. Madami ding mga new investors that are welcoming new technology and trying out bitcoin and this is indeed a good news. Our government are also not closing the door for bitcoin. Sana madami pang maging new progress this 2020 para sa bitcoin.
2000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Held a bitcoin seminar today on: January 27, 2020, 01:07:34 PM
I envy your honest goal and determination with the seminar. We conducted seminar too last December 2019, wasn't able to have pix but it is within the family. The leader is my own brother. We both want to explain the essense of bitcoin firstly with our family. And yeah, they are interested but seems not easy to understand. Too many questions were thrown at us. We wanna encourage this blockchain technology to them. This bitcoin can be our future.
