1981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not experience blood bath on: January 23, 2022, 10:32:21 PM
It's really sad how we are trying to promote the negativities of the crypto market forgetting so soon how volatile the market is, I think all we are creating right now is unnecessary panic, fud, and fomo I can only imagine how newbies are feeling now after coming to see all this, it's time we straighten things up we can't keep acting like this when ever there is a dip, after multiple of times crypto went into the dip and recover, let's set good examples for those new guys out there.
1982  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: January 23, 2022, 10:16:04 PM
Na mumu dey pick video call, bubu call super Eagle and dem lost their game. Y baba go slow? 1:0 Kai.
E be like say any tin this man touch dey go backward oooo my people how una see the matter?
The whole mata dey funny, the super eagles been dey have a great tournament winning three matches out of three ontil that call from bubu, now we lost to a team that came third in their group, it's really painful, thinking of how good Nigeria has been since the starting of the tournament, I really feel for the boys them think say Dem go carry the cup or atleast reach the finals but this is one of those things.
1983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crash is also a chance to change allocations of your coins on: January 23, 2022, 10:09:20 PM
The body of your post is too long although I don't see any reason for that, so I would be specific about your title, I think In my own opinion is that the dip or a crash is the best time to know the strength and ability of the coin you are really holding, not many coins would come out if the dip even if they were great before the dip, this dip and the volatile nature of crypto-currency has made me appreciate Bitcoin even more, because it doesn't find it hard to rise back after a fall.
1984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON Round of 16. on: January 23, 2022, 08:44:26 PM

Little time? Alex Iwobi at 64th minutes had red card already, Nigeria is using 10 men to play against 11 Tunisian team. I think Nigeria has already lost this match. Nigeria is almost already out of AFCON this year.

Let it be known that the African nation's cup should work on it's officiating, I think this year's officiating has been poor, and even with video assistant referees, we still see low standard officiating, that said it think the Nigerian players can always keep their head up regardless of what happens in this match, they have had a good competition and now can go home and prepare very well for the world cup.
1985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON Round of 16. on: January 23, 2022, 08:30:13 PM
Very sad to see that almost everyone favorite Nigeria is on the Verge of dropping out, when I saw the fixture of Nigeria facing Tunisia I knew they was going to be a problem for them, although the super eagles may have won Egypt in the first match, North African teams are always a problem when facing them, there is still little time in the game and I hope Nigeria can come up with something before the match ends.

Considering the original poster hasn't been active in the forum since he asked this question, I am unsure whether it is helpful to reply to this topic at all.
If any of the moderators happen to read this, I think it would be best to lock this topic as the topic has lost its usefulness and is not contributing to constructive discussion.

Although I am strongly against spamming and misuse of thread I would say op put this thread in such a way as to not only benefit him but also to benefit others just like him so even if he isn't active or so, many newbies may want to find out more here on this post, so I would suggest we let the post die a natural death for now.
1987  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: January 22, 2022, 09:48:55 PM
Abeg newbies make una dey careful at this time, we all fit see say the crypto-currency market get as e be now, and many of una go fit dey panic or excited it all depends on the orientation, but I go advice say if you dey hold Bitcoin you fit hold am, I no be Alt-coins person so except Ethereum I no trust any other Alt-coins, make low market cap project go fit come out now trying to deceive newbies make una shine your eyes, crypto-currency no be easy something e fit make rich and also e fit get you broke.
1988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IMPORTANT VISION: new alt coin on: January 22, 2022, 09:33:54 PM
Having an experience with coding or going to engineering schools does give you all the criteria you need to develop your own project, what team do you have to work with? I think your vision is shallow, honestly do you want my opinion, I think you should take time on this, firstly the crypto-currency market is bad and even popular crypto-currency, are having it difficult at this time, except you have other motives in starting your own project.
1989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are all the bitcoin's Moon boys ? on: January 22, 2022, 08:59:46 PM
Speaking of Moon, who noticed that the Moon Carl, a top crypto-currency influencer has changed his Twitter handle to The floor, I guess the dip has supprised everyone, well I never counted on their prediction, I only saw them as hustlers working for their pockets so nothing surprises. I would just advice newbies to avoid FUD and FOMO this period because we would have alot of it, especially coming from low market cap project, always do your research.
1990  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When Will Amazon (AMZN) Accept Bitcoin? on: January 22, 2022, 07:55:58 PM
Why Biggest E-Commerce’s platforms (Amazon,e-bay,walmart,etc)are still not accepting the biggest digital acids BTC,why they are not giving us the payments methods for crypto currency?why shoppers can not enjoy online shopping with paying cryptocurrency?
I find some Answer its may be due to rapid change in the price of btc or may be something else
It's a gradual process, and I don't think because we are Crypto-currency enthusiast we should force business owners into adding crypto-currency into their medium of payment it should be by choice, let's say those companies hasn't yet fully accepted they need Bitcoin and crypto-currency added, but with time and as the world continuously changes, I strongly believe they would come around.
1991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 22, 2022, 07:30:12 PM
Again Southampton is a thorn in the flesh of a big team, an early goal gave them the lead but a second half equalizer gave Manchester city the draw, it wasn't an electric performance from pep guardiola's Manchester city but still the came up with a reply to Southampton opener, I would like to see how Chelsea and Liverpool would take advantage of this, in the other Manchester game, I think united should not be relying on their present style of play. To me it's not going to work.
1992  Economy / Speculation / Re: Under $39k, what's next? on: January 21, 2022, 08:18:57 PM
Bitcoin is now under $39k as the reliable support level of $40k has failed so what's next?
You rest from asking the question should be next and those predicting what the price maybe should also take a rest, the market enters a bull run and the question is can Bitcoin reach x or y during the dip it is what next, support and so much more, alot is going on in Bitcoin that we can talk about. I believe that Bitcoin isn't going anywhere and we are going to be seeing the good and bad market as well
1993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 21, 2022, 08:09:18 PM
Manchester United recent problems is beyond a single players help, yes David degea is an outstanding goal keeper but where has that gotten Manchester United in recent years, and then the added an expensive defender nothing changed, they also now have one of the greatest player of all time cristiano Ronaldo but still the same thing, I think Manchester United has a real team problem that one player can't solve.
1994  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you find out to invest or not in a coin? on: January 21, 2022, 06:39:51 PM
Me like many chooses only Bitcoin and other top Alt-coins and rarely buy coins with low Market cap, not that I am ridge in exploring other up and coming alt-coins but the rate of scams, fake influencers, shillings and even scam motivated white paper, you hardly see a new project with low Market cap doing well and those that does will still end up dropping because it was all built on fake foundation, for now I am not investing in any new,low Market cap project.
1995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: January 21, 2022, 06:16:37 PM
The entire crypto market is falling again today, but is this the first time? Didn't it fall the same way in 2021 before the new ATH? And remember what was the level of greed and fear at $40,000 a year ago and now? I see this drop as an opportunity to buy fundamental tokens at a good price. I bought NEAR, Sol, Aurora, Harmony, Link, ADA.

Also a good reason to believe that this is just a correction is the fact that the largest venture capital funds continue to invest money into the market. For example, a month ago Three Arrows Capital bought 156K ETH, or just recently A16z, Alameda, Three Arrows Capital held another round of investment and invested $150M in NEAR Protocol, which indicates that serious guys like a16z and Alameda still believe in growth.
But a disclaimer, or else it would look like you are shilling, everyone should be directed to do their research, if it's about Bitcoin I really don't have any fear Even in the dip I am confident about what it's going to do, buying more Bitcoin right now is wise but buying other Coins just because of its dropping, may lead to serious loses, for now do your research before any step.
1996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It won't hurt on: January 20, 2022, 10:18:25 PM
It won't hurt to have 100,000 shiba inu coin in your wallet you know, I'm saying this because I used to have 1,000,000 doge coin in my wallet but got tired of holding it and sold, we both know how much that it today so we can't say if shiba can make its way to where doge coin is right now, it won't hurt to have some in holding
Is Elon musk endorsing Shiba Inu? I don't think so, what happened to the success so far from Shiba Inu is still the same thing you promoting which is fomo (fear of missing out) on Shiba Inu, but playing the Dogecoin card, I don't think Shiba Inu would achieve the Great success Dogecoin had, and infact I don't think Dogecoin would repeat the success, meme coin to me a temporary and I don't see them as surviving for long.
1997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growth of Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2022, 10:01:33 PM
El Salvador has legalised bitcoin and just for a thought I was evaluating that the country purchased btc in 30k range and after a few weeks purchased in 50k range and now it's dumping and again seems to touch 30/40 k range. Such a huge volatility means big players are manipulating bitcoin. So is that good for motivating other countries to make it legal tender as currency? The whales have deep roots in btc and it will always be a drawback for the organic growth of Bitcoin. And donot forget blockchain technology is known by bitcoin! Am I right?
Some country economical strength can be in various form, I know mine is highly sponsored by crude oil, so I don't think countries would be looking into Bitcoin just because of a country gained or failed from it, infact any country that truly adopts Bitcoin should look beyond the investment purposes and how crypto-currency can help out it's citizens form problematic traditional means, both now and in the future.

1999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 19, 2022, 09:40:51 PM
Tottenham Hotspur has really changed since Antonio Conte joined in the are fifth with a point less than Westham in fifth but have like 3 matches less as well, I strongly believe they would definitely be I'm Fourth and even better it's just a matter of time, defeating Leicester city isn't as easy as it looks. Also Manchester United are doing the job in the second half and I think it's great for them because they actually need the victory.

+4 pay attention to details, especially when checking an app, individuals, companies or so on.
+5 ask questions when necessary.
+6 greed is another self inflicted rip-off.
+7 very importantly seek knowledge and read up.
