1981  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My First Investments on: May 15, 2023, 12:40:46 AM
I am a newbie and would like to invest $1000 to start. I have read that I should put 40 percent into bitcoin and diversify the other 60 percent.

OP $1000 is one hell of a cash, if I were you I'd split the money into two equal parts, 50/50. Invest $500 on Bitcoin and the other half I'll send to the bank.
It is important to know that you should never invest money you can't afford to lose, the money you can afford to invest depends on how comfortable you are with risk taken, that's another one you need to consider. Since is your first investment never make it your last out of desperation, let patience do the work.

Just one game and it is all over but I feel so much anger to know that all that the Gunners have been fighting for since the beginning of the campaign has been for nothing. Imagine when everyone was tipping Arsenal to fail before entering the second half of the season but they [Arsenal]  proved them wrong, not until when we have like 6 games to go before they started falling apart. This is so shameful to me, with all those dreams of lifting the EPL title after so many years, all gone like that. Hmm.
Well like they said it is not over until it's over, can the Blues shine one more time for the Gunners to have a little hope? How possible can that be for Chelsea to beat City when they meet on the 21th of this month. Anything can happen though, I have this hope that City will lose to Chelsea after getting into the UCL finals and draw one or two games on the EPL then who knows, Arsenal might come back and win the remaining matches  to be Champions, I'm just saying but I just wish Arsenal get to be Champions this season.

Why would a normal Being delete about 748 post without any reason, is that normal?
I don't think if that is possible to delete almost all your post, but that not withstanding your activity and post will increased whenever you completes the 14 posts per say or it will start counting afresh which might take longer time to get to ur previous position. What determines your ranking up is your activity and you can only get activity when you consistently keep posting.

We have so many funny and good posters in this forum, but I still don't get it why someone would wake up one peaceful morning and decide to clear his/her post that took him/her hours to create all in the name of what? Well it's some how but your decision.
From all have read here I would like to ask, what if you delete all your post, would there be any post to be updated in the next 14days? I want to know because I just started thinking about it, since the activities are responsible for ranking up and I know it can't be deleted, is it possible for that to also happen?
1984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 14, 2023, 04:52:09 AM
Today in the Spanish League, Real Madrid vs Getafe, two teams came to the field to play. Real Madrid won this match by scoring 1 goal. Both teams tried hard to score at the beginning of the game, but there was no goal before halftime. Real Madrid is in the 2nd position in the points table.  After staying, he did not play well. In this match, if Real Madrid could have performed well from the beginning of the game, then they could have scored more goals. Getafe played many fouls in the entire game. Getafe team players received 4 yellow cards.

I would still easy it over and over again about this Real Madrid side, they're not serious when it comes to the la liga and it's making the league less competitive as of before.
Madrid went head to head with Getafe who are seated at 18th position on the log and all Madrid could come out with is just a goal 3 shots on target, is so unlike them [Real Madrid] I know they have the UCL ahead of them but come on, they can't eliminate City despite the 1-1 draw, well from all I have seen Madrid has given up on the league title. I just hope this won't make Barcelona more stronger than they are now till next season.
1985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: May 14, 2023, 04:38:03 AM
OP from your question I've say it is best to have your personal trading strategy but never rely of it 100% because it can fail you at anytime and affect you badly (it might even discourage you to move on). Set a rule that would let you make more profit when you enter the market, analysis the price movement after entry, see where your chart stop should be placed. After analysing just look for an exit point to pull out to avoid regret, no matter how best your think your strategy is always know when to pull out it helps that way too.
1986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 14, 2023, 03:13:35 AM
With this victory, Manchester United are safer in top four and they broke their bad streak which can help them to bounce back in a last three matches. The task for Manchester United now is only win two matches amongst three remaining matches will be enough for them to beat Liverpool.

I must confess, UTD did very well against Wolves but that doesn't mean they're going to come out top notch in their remaining games, Liverpool will be playing today and am certain that it will be a victory for Liverpool. Manchester United had the chance of extending their lead to avoid being caught up by Liverpool and here we are counting points or asking if Liverpool will lose for the red Devil to win and sit comfortably at the table, as it is I don't think UTD will make it to the UCL next season.
1987  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Investment: Good Debts vs Bad Debts on: May 14, 2023, 02:24:15 AM
Good debts - loaning money to purchase something that would appreciate in value over time. Real estate, precious metals, commodities etc.

You have a point, OP because good debts can also contribute to one achieving wealth and happiness, helping to obtain something useful. But it can become bad when you take on too much that you can't handle or even pay back. Before you know it, it has become something you wish never happened, a big loss for you.

Quote
They say poor people have bad debts and rich  people have good debts.

Is not really true, as a matter of fact it all depends on the individual, poor people can have a good debt that can produce a positive result at the end and a rich man can have the opposition, is just a vise versa. We can't just say poor people have bad loan because they're poor and rich have good loan because they're rich and they have it all to make things right, no, I disagree.

One of the popular pieces of advice you'd hear in the Bitcoin space is to never borrow to invest in it.

Despite the volatility, our hope is that Bitcoin will appreciate in value.

Would you classify borrowing money to invest in Bitcoin as good debt or bad debt?

It has never been proper to borrow money because you want to invest even if it's Bitcoin, never forget that in business you just have to put it at the back of your mind that is a 50/50 thing, you don't have to win or gain always so that how it is.

As for classifying borrowed money to invest in Bitcoin as a good or bad debt, I'd say no to that. Borrowing to invest on Bitcoin can backfire, anything can happen so I don't support such.
1988  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should use spare money to invest on: May 13, 2023, 10:43:50 PM
And unlike other business bitcoin also makes sales and losses if you do not investment wisely....is nice when you put in what can not put you sickbed or gives you hypertension, don't invest out of what you cannot withstand the loss.

Is better to use small money or learn risk management first before investing especially newbies.

Having so much money without knowing what to do with it is really disturbing for someone who wants more of it. After all your struggling from day one to the end as someone who's working, and you know it's time to rest I feel it's time to use half of your money to do something that you know would bring in more profit.
It is never best to use all you have labored for because if you do and it happened that what you expecting didn't go as planned then you have your self to blame.
Investment for starters is like gambling never start with a bigger amount unless you have something that much bigger than what you want to spend.

The battle for the Champions League spots is heating up. Newcastle missed their chance to widen the gap with Man United, leaving both teams vulnerable to Liverpool, who could potentially steal a spot in the league.

Newcastle's remaining fixtures are against Brighton, Leicester, and Chelsea, while Man United will face Bournemouth, Chelsea, and Fulham. Meanwhile, Liverpool's last games are against Leicester, Aston Villa, and Southampton.

All three teams have a great chance of winning all their remaining matches. If predictions hold true, they will each secure nine points, which would leave Liverpool out of the Champions League race.

The Newcastle that played against Leeds wasn't the Newcastle we saw trashing teams 5-1 4-1 is surprising that they could not extend the gap between them and Man UTD, knowing quite well what's a stake, they [Newcastle]  should have won the game without looking back, with Bamford missing the penalty was suppose to make the Newcastle squad go crazy for goals but they let Leeds to share pts with them. It would be very bad not to see Newcastle go to the UCL after their hard work.
1990  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: May 13, 2023, 06:23:21 PM
Let us be realistic to ourselves, is good to extreme to wait for government to make provision of every in a country, sometimes when we graduate from higher colleges we expected government to create employment opportunities but in some points government keep adamant of making employment be visible and available to the mass,  on my instinct I said without government employment man can survive, I started a popcorn 🍿 business which I managed alone but right now have workers under me which I'm paying and now planning to establish another business.

OP relying on the government is just something we like doing but if we remove our mind from getting things to be done by them [government] we would even provide things that we need without thinking of how good or bad they [government] are.
Let's take for instance, Bitcointalk has done so much for so many people in this Forum and is like an empowerment, some may not know how this has helped users in this Forum to equip them self in different businesses with out saying "the government are not doing there job or not providing employment".
I feel so happy when I see or hear that this is what I did with the help of this Forum [Bitcointalk]. With all these we can do better than waiting for the government to something for the public to survive. Let's continue preaching Bitcointalk to as many as possible to be independent.
1991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 13, 2023, 06:03:50 PM
Nottingham Forest is not a strong team and they lost many points this season that's why we were even expecting to see this team in the worst place of the table and near the danger zone but because of the lousy performance Chelsea had, Nottingham got one point the from and they they have better situation while normally Nottingham is not a team to make a problem for a team like Chelsea.

Chelsea wasn't doing well from the start, despite the fact that they had a comfortable win against Bournemouth last week and they came  in today's game with that confidence of winning Nottingham Forest that are struggling too with form and trying to escape the relegation zone. It was suppose to be an easy game for Chelsea but they were seriously poor in front of goal even in the defensive department, I still can't figure out why Frank Lampard can't make use of these players every week, how on Earth can they [Chelsea] beat City or get a draw with all these crazy errors? To me I feel you have to be at your best to beat/match the Manchester City side.
I just have to congratulate the Nottingham Forest players for standing up against the blues by securing a point, is not really easy and I just hope Chelsea would come out in their best form in their next fixture.
1992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 12, 2023, 10:59:43 PM
I just wish I could know what's going on in the heads of the UTD players after a disappointing display last week against West Ham. With Wolves visiting the Red devil at Old Trafford it will be another difficult game for UTD because I can't see them [Man UTD] getting it soft from the opposition. Manchester United need to make the top 4 and sit there till the end of the season but the way they're going is like every game they play is just too difficult to at least get a point.

Topping Liverpool with 1pt who are not ready to losing [Liverpool] is like running and watching your back at the same time, so with any loose and Liverpool win it will be a disaster for UTD, they [Manchester United] only need to be winning every other fixture till the end of the season to secure a spot in the UCL next season.
1993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 12, 2023, 05:26:28 AM
Chelsea VS Nottingham forest  on Saturday will be a easy match for Chelsea to win with many goals to improve their points, because they displayed some new tactics that made them to achieved victory from their opponent in their last match.

The Blues has a brilliant performance last time with a 1-3 win over  Bournemouth but that's not going to make Frank Lampard too comfortable, he still needs to do more in substituting, players to start even both in tactics. They [Chelsea] played very well by making use of the wingers, the midfield was outstanding with the likes of Enzo Fernandez and N'Golo Kanté, those two was astonishingly wonderful.
The Chelsea side was lacking Enzo and N'Golo but now Lampard has gotten the best in that midfield but the next is the defensive department, is a bit unbalanced but with the strong hold of the midfielders it won't be easy to break.
So Nottingham won't be a problem for the Blues, for the first time the Chelsea fans would walk in the stadium and feel relaxed while the players secure all 3pt.
1994  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase profit in business on: May 12, 2023, 12:04:05 AM
I do agree with you and I've always been on the opinion  that customer ls are always right and in myocardial community  and country at large,  it is a common phrase that customers are always right.

Honestly speaking, that phrase (customers are always right) sometimes has been used to abuse business owners, I don't think because customers are always right and you have to make sales or should I say profits it gives customers the infantry to speak ill to someone who's trying to make a living.
Sometimes in other to make profit I just feel both customers and business owners should try as much as possible to understand each other because without the customers the business won't grow and without the business owners there won't be any goods to sell so by understanding these "Customers are always right" won't get into the heads of the customers especially the rude ones. I just feel there should be another phrase that favors the business owner(s) too.

Everybody is talking about Arsenal losing a game or two but what about City who have so much in their plate, Champions league game, FA cup finals and the EPL title to secure, is really going to be hard for the Citizens if they fail to win the UCL cause that's their number 1 priority.
Going on season to season without getting hold of that trophy is something Pep is worried about and with the way things are going they [Manchester City] are going to win the UCL and fatigue might come to play in the City team and who knows, that would make Arsenal go back up to the table if City start losing games. The major game I feel City might lose is against Chelsea so Arsenal fans have nothing to worry about.
1997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 11, 2023, 02:48:33 AM
Such a poor night for Milan really. I didn't see as big effort as I expected from them. Because there were big problems with the shots. This 2-0 loss already in the first game can be a serious issue for Milan in the second leg. I was expecting Inter to play good but this was more than I expected. After capturing this psychological advantage Inter can most probably eliminate them.

I wonder why Inzaghi didn't prefer Lukaku in the starting lineup this time. He has been in a good shape recently actually.

Wasn't expecting the game to be that hard for both sides and they have to settle it when next they meet in the return leg.  Inter didn't play a good football for me to say they're good to go. With Inzaghi always keeping the big man on the bench talking about Lukaku, is so worrisome, if he's not that good at least let him come in and cause problems to the defense of the opposition, he has the pace the energy to run through defenders but why keep him on the bench?
If not for the luck on his [Inzaghi] side he would be calling on Lukaku to start instead of keeping him on the bench.
I was expecting a tough game between these sides. It only took Inter Milan 11minutes to cancel Ac Milan. Ac Milan didn't react at all, the defense was a sieve, the midfield disastrous and not to mention the striker, not scoring a goal in 79 minutes, they had a poor outing. Also I think Ac Milan playing without Rafael Leao caused them this game. They have lost all three games this season when Rafael Leao didn't play. Leao is such vital player for Milan, they needed him tonight to break the lines and create transition. Now they’ll have to put their all in the second leg.

Having such a great player on the sideline is just worrisome and he just signed a contract with the AC Milan side  for the next 5yrs. With him [Rafael Leao] out of the picture I don't see any possible replacement unless a miracle happens that he recovers quickly.
AC Milan have to come all out because they have nothing to lose, 0-2 down is something the coach of the AC Milan Stefano Pioli needs to get worried about. He just needs some body to break through the defense of the Inter Milan and he might get something in the return leg.

Honestly am new here and with my little time that i have spent in this forum i have observed, and i wanna ask the forum mate if that is posible because i saw it happening amonge the forum mate and the person that invade this platform for me,people in this forum who are connected in one way or the other are trading on their sendable merit not only the their sndable merit but orher way of trading on merit is going on in this forum,so my question is,is it good and permitted to do such on the forum,

No. It's not permitted. Nothing good comes easy else there'd be no need to make research in order to make quality posts. This question looks like you are buying the tweaks to a difficult game and before you know it, you have lost interest. Same goes here. Making constructive posts would give you the desired results (merits).
