1981  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: June 15, 2016, 09:25:22 AM
Yeah, I guess most people probably treat bitcoin as a part time job instead of a full on job. Some people just prefer that peace of mind with some sort of  job security instead of all risk.

That said, many people work for bitcoin companies such as Coinbase, Localbitcoins etc.
1982  Other / Archival / Re: . on: June 15, 2016, 09:24:10 AM
Investment for me is the best and the easiest way to earn bitcoin, but there are other ways like trading ,blogging , or even the gambling but I dont recommend gambling si tes of you are easily distracted by it.. Just be sure that your choosing the right way to earn
Signature campaign is the most stable in earning bitcoin, Investment is quite risky cause many investment sites are now closing cause bitcoin halving is near and they know the price of bitcoin is growing high

It really depends on which signature campaign you are in. Signature campaigns can turn scam after a while as well, it's not really that rock solid. They can change their rates to lower ones or just stop paying you altogether.

But yeah, investing is quite risky so I wouldn't recommend anyone to invest.
1983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steam accept Bitcoin soon? on: June 15, 2016, 09:22:22 AM
Well, yeah, it has already started accepting bitcoin a few weeks back. And it is great to see any new merchant to start accepting bitcoin, whether it is a large merchant or a small merchant.

And steam is definitely the biggest gaming platform for computers right now : D
1984  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: June 15, 2016, 09:21:29 AM
unfortunately there are not enough places that i can use bitcoin as a payment so there has always been a lot of restrictions for me to spend my coins.

so far i have purchases games from steam and have only used bitcoin for gambling and nothing special so far.

i hope this changes in the future. and other places like steam start accepting bitcoin so i can spend them.

I definitely feel you man, I feel like there is simply a shortage of merchants that are willing to accept bitcoin in return for their services/goods. But in reality they should be using bitcoin instead of fiat IMO.

Steam has already made a good start with BTC. Cheesy
1985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what to do with my coinbase account? on: June 15, 2016, 09:20:08 AM
Well, you can always transfer your bitcoins to localbitcoins from your coinbase wallet and exchange your bitcoins for fiat there. Although the prices may not be the best it still works.

Good luck with your bitcoin investment!
1986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GSW vs CAVS on: June 15, 2016, 09:17:10 AM
Well, I'm not a big fan of basketball but I really just had to follow this game. I initially thought that golden state was bound to win by now but I was wrong... Draymond was out of the game so that was a big factor.

Stellar performance from both James and Irving.
1987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on game but not right result what do you think? on: June 15, 2016, 07:47:41 AM
Yeah, you would have to post a screenshot of the bet and tell us exactly how you bet that bet. Otherwise with the current given info I doubt anyone can help you right now on this forum.

The first thing to do is obviously to contact support. Have you done that yet?
1988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: June 15, 2016, 07:45:58 AM
Hi guys i just want to share my experience in gambling which is i am still playing since january but never made any profit with this game.. any other tricks settings and methods are already tried but still now never made any profits..
What you can suggest to me i will still continue to gamble in dice game with other methods or just stop gamble..Huh

There aren't really any profitable tricks or strategies to follow that will just guarantee you somehow an instant profit on your bitcoin. Gambling is gambling and you just gotta accept the risks that comes with it.

The house edge prevents you from winning in the long term, so it's understandable that you've never profited Tongue
1989  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn Bitcoins fast and free?? on: June 15, 2016, 07:44:52 AM
Do u have a link for doing a task for btc ?

I would personally recommend to you bitcoinget.com. I haven't had any other experience with survey or task sites, and bitcoin get is the one and only site that I still actively use.

You actually get paid also if you get rejected on a survey, which is great. 48h payouts has never gone over 24 hours for me.
1990  Economy / Gambling / Re: i win 1btc today!!! on: June 15, 2016, 07:43:50 AM
i win 1 btc today with Crypto-Games.net!
really cool!

At least post some pics so that we can all enjoy your wins haha... Otherwise we can't celebrate with you Tongue

Keep your bitcoins safe, and gamble responsibly. I don't want to observe another guy complaining how he lost all his bitcoins after winning 1 BTC in one day. Otherwise, good luck!
1991  Economy / Gambling discussion / 1.01x = 98% win chance? on: June 15, 2016, 07:42:55 AM
As far as I know on most gambling sites if you choose a 98% win chance then you'll get a payout of somewhere around 1.01x. I know that primedice rounds it off to 1.01x, but I think the number is actually around 1.0102x.

How is this following the 1% house edge rule? I don't get the maths behind it.
1992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High bet amounts or low bet amounts? What is your style? on: June 15, 2016, 07:41:48 AM
It depends on the odds that im bettng against. If the odds are 50/50 I may bet 1$ but if they are 10/90 then I might bet 10$

Yeah, it depends a lot on the odds as well, no doubt. For example if the odds were 1.01x instead of 100x, then obviously I wouldn't be betting the same amount on the same bet.

I change my style very often so there is no fixed strategy that I follow.
1993  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MOST COMMON MISTAKES OF A NEWBIE on: June 15, 2016, 07:40:49 AM
Well, I think the most common SINGLE mistake of a newbie is probably gambling what they cannot afford to lose. I remember in those days when I used to believe that martingale works.

Man, that was crazy as I think back now Tongue
1994  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Zero fee transaction on: June 15, 2016, 07:38:02 AM
Is there a way to create zero fee transaction anymore. The only way I knew was Blockchain.info and it seems they have removed it now.

PS: I need it for technical purpose.

If you really want to do it, and since I actually don't know any other way of doing this to be honest, you should try using Blockchain.info with the legacy version. AFAIK they still allow it.

But what's the point of a zero fee transaction anymore?
1995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: June 15, 2016, 07:37:03 AM
Well, I've lost around 0.3 BTC overall in gambling. Had some luck on some days, pure shit luck on other days. Sometimes I get way too greedy as well which takes me off focus and lose.

And yeah, you're right in saying that gamblers usually take out loans so that they can chase after their losses.
1996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: June 15, 2016, 07:35:11 AM
Well, yes, everyone does lose in the long run and this isn't really any new news to us. It can only be possible for people to lose in the long run, because there is a 1% house edge usually in place.

However, this doesn't mean that we can't win in the short run.
1997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling get you into Bitcoin or did Bitcoin get you into gambling? on: June 15, 2016, 07:34:04 AM
Yeah bitcoin get me into gambling because it is very easy to place bets online with bitcoin supported gambling sites, i like to play with bitcoin and enjoying to stay online on that kind of betting sites because it have a lot of fun.

Definitely the case. I think one of the best options that bitcoin offers you is to have instant deposits and withdrawals, not only on gambling sites but on other trading sites as well.

This is a huge advantage over traditional payment systems which may take days to clear.
1998  Economy / Gambling / Re: 100BTC bet on me and HaoBTC being dishonest on: June 15, 2016, 07:32:31 AM
Well, this is going to be interesting. I'd say that Eric @ HaoBTC would be one of the more trustworthy people that is active on this forum. However, I doubt that a troll like exploited will have the money to fund 100 BTC into his account.

The fact that HaoBTC has the guts to wager already proves that they are legit.
1999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what fun in GAMBLING? on: June 15, 2016, 07:31:17 AM
Well, gambling is all about the gameplay in my opinion. You are just absolutely thrilled to start gambling and wouldn't rest before you do start gambling. I think that is the beauty of gambling.

It brings you to a high that you have never experienced before. it's awesome.
2000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: June 15, 2016, 07:08:55 AM
Gambling will makes you cry when you are losing a lot of money with it and that is really bad of course but it should be bad if you are going to be poor of it.
And if you are crying because you are losing a lot of money with gambling you have to know that it is also your own fault.

Yeah, one of the things with gambling irresponsibly is that you actually regret your own actions afterwards. I think it hurts most when you take a retrospective stance and look back at how long you've come to achieve that kind of balance, then betting it all in one bet.

That's why it's so important not to be greedy.
