1981  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop the panic, I doubt we will see 14k or less Bitcoin on: November 12, 2022, 09:05:58 PM
But I think we are going to wait for a couple of years before we see a real recovery. All these jumps to $20-22k means nothing.
That's likely, but actually we're still very likely to jump in and hit more resistance above $20K next year. I've never had any doubts about the great potential of bitcoin, over time the price will come back strong and the demand for it will only increase. Even if I'm actually a bit panicked, but the positive side is that there are new opportunities to increase the current portfolio.

Remember, Bitcoin price was almost $70k, and when I see people calling few thousand gains and start talking about recovery, makes me feel sad. Trust me, there will be more price drops in future, soon weekly $500 gains people will consider as trend change and be more than happy about it. I believe we would see more or less significant changes only when there will be more stability in economy and understanding in tomorrows day.
A drop is always possible, but I'm not thinking about a severe dump. So even if today bitcoin has discounted its price by almost 80%, but the cycle will very likely repeat itself especially as the halving draws near. Yes now it may be a tough time, but next year anything is possible and the market will come back strong.

Even though Arsenal dominated this match with a high percentage of ball possession, apparently they still had trouble scoring goals. Until the first half ended, the score was still 0-0 for both teams. I haven't seen Arsenal really threaten Wolves when they have the chance, but there is great hope Arsenal can increase the intensity of their attack to score goals.

The probability of Arsenal's victory is very high, so I don't think I can change my belief about Arsenal's chances of winning in this match. But Wolves will likely focus more on their defense in the second half so they don't concede, if that works then Manchester City has the right to be a little happy. Lol
1983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My First Purchases of Bitcoin on: November 12, 2022, 08:07:34 PM
A very brave step where beginners can buy bitcoins in a bear market while on the other hand there are those who say this is the right time to buy but beginners are certainly hard to do but you are brave with this step even though the value of your purchase is $ 5 but it will continue to grow in the future along with your courage to have long-term investment goals.
Obviously a bear market is one great opportunity for long term investors to take advantage of buying lots of bitcoins instead of buying them when the market recovers. A lot of people who bought for $50K will probably regret that during November 2022 the bitcoin price has dropped to its lowest point, they will really want to buy it again and I think they will if finances allow it.

$5 may not mean much, but it's a good first step to gaining some knowledge of how the market works. OP can increase his investment in the future for whatever he can afford to lose, main point is he did what we should be doing now.
1984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 12, 2022, 07:58:56 PM
Newcastle won 1-0 against Chelesa the match just ended and Chelsea are looking really bad. Potter is doing a really bad job so far and things need to change fast if they want to save this season. While Newcastle is really doing good the best result for them in last 20 years
I didn't expect Newcastle to play well and beat Chelsea, this is a great proof of the performance of a team that has good cooperation even if not the favourites. If Newcastle can maintain this good form throughout the season then I think they will make it through to the Champions League next season.

I'm still very doubtful about that, but there are many possibilities for a team whose players are very confident and motivated to give their best for their team. It can be said, Eddie Howe has really succeeded in making Newcastle's appearance better this season, especially in the last 15 matches.

And now, Wolves vs Arsenal is live. The away team come with high motivation to take home the full points in this match considering their rivals lost 2-1 to Brentford today. A win would see Arsenal create a 5 point gap with Manchester City and chances are it will work today.
1985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 12, 2022, 07:46:02 PM
I don't think other teams will be able to catch up and participate in the rivalry between Barcelona and real Madrid this season, their point gap has started to drift away and it will be difficult to stop these 2 teams, even I think the chasing team will lose points and make them further away from Barcelona and Real Madrid. There's no doubt that they are the best in La Liga at the moment, although Real Madrid are first to have that title as Barcelona have just returned from the bad situation they have been in in recent years.
Of course it will be difficult for other teams to close the big difference in points at this time, but all possibilities are still there if Madrid and Barcelona lose in the next few matches. I think it's safe for now, but anything is still possible because the competition is still going on.

I agree Barcelona performed better as a team in Laliga but one thing, Barcelona is a team that failed in the Champions League. Their performances are too weak against strong teams, so in this situation Real Madrid can really benefit when the second El Clasico match takes place next year.
1986  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Reminder: Treat Exchanges as Marketplaces on: November 11, 2022, 07:08:43 PM
Dear newbies, please treat exchanges, such as Binance, KuCoin, Kraken, Huobi, OKX, and Coinbase, as marketplaces. What do I mean? Just as you do not leave your goods on the market after you have paid for them, you take them home with you. Consider your coins as the goods you bought at the marketplace. Your bitcoins should only be stored in cold storage wallets after purchase, and transferred out when you want to sell them. It takes less than 10 minutes. Remember, if you don't have the keys, it's not your coins.
This advice has literally been said hundreds of times to beginners or anyone who has deposited their assets on the exchange. I don't think things will change especially many active traders will not care about this advice because they believe that as long as they are still trading then having assets on the exchange will allow them to take advantage of opportunities much quicker.

Your advice is more suitable for investors or for those who have not traded anything on the exchange for a long period of time. So don't equalize traders and investors even though it is true exchange is not a completely safe place for our assets.
1987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 11, 2022, 06:24:07 PM
I think Real Madrid will definitely sign a new striker in the next transfer window. Not only as a backup for Benzema, but they actually already have a plan and budget for it. In the previous transfer window, they weren't thought if Mbappe will toy with them, while Haaland has already been signed by Man City. Looking at their current situation which Benzema's injury has clearly affected them, it will further strengthen the possibility that Real Madrid will be hunting for a new striker in the next transfer window.
I'm really curious about which player they will be eyeing in the transfer market, it has to be the best player for the long term although I think Rodrygo and Vinicius are very good future assets for Madrid. I hope this year's world cup will be the best place to monitor some players. I would say no to Mbappe, whatever it is because I think Real Madrid are really disappointed with him.
1988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 11, 2022, 05:45:44 PM
Brentford is a team that draws by weight.  The number of wins in the league is very few, they have 3 wins and they have 7 draws.  Manchester City will play with all their motivation to beat Arsenal and become the leader.  If Arsenal lose points away from Wolves, they will have a chance to lead.  So I expect them to win easily against Brentford.
Yes Manchester City are superior to Brentford so it would make sense why I would think about a good chance of a win. But maybe you need to consider the last City game when Fulham really frustrated them throughout the game, even if it won't be the same but Manchester City have to be aware of that possibility. But Manchester City odds are not really profitable, it will be very small for a single bet.
1989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 11, 2022, 05:02:19 PM
-snip-
Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City, PSG, Bayern Munich are the 5 favorite teams in this season's Champions League. But unfortunately 4 of these 5 teams really have to compete with each other to qualify for the next round.

I think Real Madrid, Manchester City and PSG will qualify for the next round even though it's never certain now. Liverpool are a strong team for Real Madrid, but we have proven we can be like the previous season. Bayern and PSG are the toughest matches, it must be difficult to get one of them in the next round. But I really hope Real Madrid can prove whatever I expect this season, they have to win and qualify.
1990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius, Terra, FTX Crash All Are Prove That Bitcoin Is The Only Trusted Crypto on: November 11, 2022, 04:36:23 PM
There are many reasons why investors should have bitcoin as their primary crypto investment asset instead of altcoins. Many of us know the reason, but on the other hand, asset diversification is also worth considering but once they know what the risks are.

We all believe bitcoin is better, but we can't prevent people from choosing which one is the best and most profitable for themselves in terms of investment, in fact not all of those investors care about the usefulness of bitcoin but most only care about the profit. Your thread and some of your points can really give some insight into why bitcoin is better, but I don't think this will encourage more people to leave altcoin for bitcoin.
1991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 10, 2022, 10:54:44 AM
There is no need asking if Eric will be the one to bring back the lost glory of Manchester United, it is obvious that he is already in the right track to bring back the glory of Manchester United. And I know too well that it will not take as long as people anticipate for him to bring back the glory of Manchester United. By January if Manchester United could get him two defenders, one midfielder and one striker this season he cannot go without a trophy. The man is so determined to succeed and he is the glory of Manchester United restored
I hope your beliefs about Ten Hag and his possible success at Manchester United come true. I'm not going to be that sure about him anytime soon, that's because other teams like Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal or even Chelsea are still strong teams to put Manchester United behind.

I hope you understand that Ten Hag needs time and the full support of the Manchester United management, but things won't be as easy as turning the palm of the hand. The Premier League is a good and tight competition, that will be my consideration for Ten Hag's success.
1992  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: November 10, 2022, 10:49:39 AM
How long do you think it will take for paper money to be phased out for good? Will CBDCs be able to replace not only paper money but also credit/debit cards? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
I'm not sure, CBDC will not be able to completely replace paper money even if its development accelerates rapidly. The demand for paper money among the public to meet the needs of daily transactions in traditional markets cannot be eliminated easily, even if the government has prepared all means to increase knowledge of digital usage through various programs, in the end I believe it will not be easy.

However, the next generation may have more potential to no longer use paper money. Obviously it will take a long time, but this will probably continue to change over time.
1993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 10, 2022, 10:31:03 AM
Judging from the time Ten Hag has spent so far with Manchester United and the quality of the players and their performance, do you think Ten Hag will bring back the lost glory of Manchester United?
I'm not entirely sure about that, because actually Ten Hag should be given a lot of seasons to get Manchester United back to glory. Even if Ten Hag made a good impact for Manchester United at the moment, but he has not succeeded in proving anything other than improving the team's performance.

The squad improvement is expected to make the team more stable than it is now, so they should get some good players in the January transfer market. Ten Hag must improve the quality of his defense and attackers, especially if Ronaldo ends his contract.
1994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 10, 2022, 10:05:05 AM
Atletico madrid can't end their bad run. Atletico madrid are not doing much better after losing 1-0 away to mallorca. They haven't won for 3 weeks. And their opponents are not strong teams. They need to recover as soon as possible or they will be out of the race.
Seviila lost without conceding many goals in a match with 9 men. Sevilla, who had 2 players red carded in the first half, couldn't do much to win the match anyway.
Atletico Madrid seems to have been eliminated as a team that has always provided good competition in La Liga so far. Lately they have been very inconsistent and have lost a lot of points in a number of matches. They lose and draw far more often than they win games, and they even missed out on the Champions League and didn't make the Europa League this season.

With the condition of the team like this, I believe they will be very difficult to break into the top 4. Diego Simeone should be able to increase the motivation of his players and make the team's dressing room better, but if this continues then Diego Simeone's partnership with Atletico Madrid will end soon.
1995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 09, 2022, 09:52:12 PM
Real Madrid still has plenty of time and preparation for facing Liverpool is of course ideal for Real Madrid players to optimize stamina. Despite losing in the last few games, the time against Liverpool will still be put to good use. I believe Real Madrid will continue to win because the history of the two meetings is dominated by the Madrid squad.
I understand your belief about Real Madrid and its ability in the Champions League, but please never ignore and underestimate Liverpool who actually deserve the title of a big team with the same quality in the same competition. I doubt Real Madrid will make it this season in the last 16 even though I am their fan, Liverpool have learned a lot even though last season they also had to lose to Real Madrid.

I'm sure this match will be super difficult and won't be easy to predict which is the same as PSG vs Bayern Munich. Both teams have the ability and opportunity to win in both legs, but there is still a long way to go to get things ready.
1996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Falls To Sub-$17,000 After the FTX Exchange Demise on: November 09, 2022, 09:35:33 PM
Another low is $15.8K at the moment, and it turns out that history is completely different this time around and some mindsets about beliefs can change quickly due to such a rough market reaction.

I have a buy order at $15.5K at the moment, I would love it if it would be filled completely by panic traders. Then another dip could appear as soon as $15.5K hit. If November 2021 is said to be November rain, then November 2022 is November fire. Lol
1997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 09, 2022, 09:27:07 PM
Oh no, I just saw the temporary results of inter milan vs bologna where inter milan has won with a big score in this match even I immediately checked the standings table where inter milan has again shifted Atalanta ranking in the standings where Atalanta must be out of the from rankings 4 and chances are they will continue to swap places if juventus wins again. a tough week for atalanta as they were previously quite safe sitting in second place in the standings but two straight defeats changed their ranking immediately. Yes, Napoli is quite consistent this season, even the difference in points with AC Milan is already 8 points.
Inter really took advantage of this match to improve their goal stats. This victory puts them in the top 4 position despite having the same points as Atalanta. Following Roma's draw, Inter managed to maximize their chances of getting into the top 4 today.

But not just 5-1, Inter scored again and now the temporary score is 6-1. But not just 5-1, Inter scored again and now the temporary score is 6-1. It's a big party to mark Inter's return to the top 4.
1998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 08, 2022, 08:52:11 PM
Last season Manchester city and Liverpool were in competition for the title, maybe this season Arsenal and Manchester city will be fighting for points.
Each team will fight for points, but not all teams will fight for the title. Some of the top Premier League teams including Arsenal and Manchester City this season are likely to be fighting for the title given both of them are performing well, but I can't always believe in Arsenal even though at the moment they are very impressive.

Against Wolves, Arsenal will clearly benefit greatly because so far Wolves are still very difficult to get out of the relegation zone. Wolves only managed to get 10 points from 14 matches with only 2 wins, 4 draws and 8 losses. It's impossible to expect Arsenal to lose or draw, so it will be their win this week.
1999  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN][In Merit] Post Count Down To Your Next Rank Here. on: November 08, 2022, 07:36:21 PM
At this point, I hope that all your efforts will never be in vain because there are basically a lot of forum users who want to help you rank up. I just think you guys don't have to whine and complain about how to get the merit because most of you already know how it works. Just do what you've been doing all this time, and enjoy the journey until you actually get there.

The fact is that 1000 merit is not something that is impossible for anyone of you who has a good quality post. So try to always improve and keep what you already have. Anything is possible, so be patient and enjoy it so you don't have to keep announcing your countdown every time when few merit add up.
2000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Birth of a Cycle (Current Bitcoin 4 year cycle is about to end) on: November 08, 2022, 07:27:02 PM
Definitely cannot watch the full video at one go, but with the first 5 to 10 minutes, it looks promising to be an educative video, and not one which is simply made to be sensational and attract lots of attention. A YouTuber who I can revisit for the contents.

Every speculation on what stage we are in, with the transition from bull to bear, and back to bull could potentially be correct and has it's own merit. I cannot determine if we have seen the bottom and now only have one way to go, or if there would be future drops, or if we would have a dead cat bounce and then a prolonged dip.

Using halving as a metric is one way to look at Bitcoin as a whole, and this involves trader sentiment, but is not limited to it.
It is difficult to determine where a cycle ends and is replaced by a new one, especially regarding bearish and bullish. I didn't think this would be the end of a bearish cycle and ready to turn into a bullish cycle, it turns out that until now we are still in a bearish cycle.

The transition from bearish to bullish requires support marked by the break of some tough resistance like $25K in recent months. I think this bearishness will last until 2023, but supply and demand will very likely make some moves.
