Massively undervalued. That’s the only conclusion right now  Grin

A Gold plated toilet, just to reinforce where Gold’s current place in the cycle is.

Side note: I do not consider high BTC fees a shame but simply the result of market forces. Although the high fees situation does have an impact on Bitcoin, I commend the Devs for taking a cautious approach to the way scaling should be achieved. Decentralisation is the only thing that upholds Bitcoin - bottom line - so obvious but non-scaling solutions like increase of the block size to an unknowable detriment of the core concept of ‘decentralisation’ should be very carefully thought out. If we just want a high speed electronic coin, there is Ripple  Kiss

Gold is just another Altcoin with a bizarre POW

Quoted as possible 'quote of the year'  Cool
1985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: January 02, 2018, 10:19:02 PM
My predictions, $50-$60 by the end of next week.
Strap in, it's gonna pump hard.

Good for traders but frankly I am only interested in receiving the actual card for now.
1986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: January 02, 2018, 10:16:11 PM

Anywhere where the card is accepted 😉

Could you tell where you spend some? It will be good for the community to hear some actual real world experiences.
When did you order your TenX card? and when did it come?
So I have an indication when mine will come Grin

The card does not work at a few local merchant shops (grocery store, toy store), probably because these merchants do not have acceptance of prepaid cards in their payment package. The large grocery stores and chains do accept prepaid cards (they also accept credit cards). I had no troubles with ATM withdrawals.

Paying with the card is as simple as sliding it in (no NFC for now), entering PIN and done. Small note: the payment machine switches to English language automatically.

I really hope that the ETH wallet comes available for me soon. The BTC fees kinda spoil the fun because I do not consider the TenX wallet a place to store large amounts of money (no more than $100-200).

For now, I did not get any remarks on showing the card, although I think the guy at Coolblue understood what I took out of my wallet  Cool

just bought some NET through etherdelta -- what a headache -- is there an easier, less error prone, way of buying it?

HitBTC and Liqui.

I need to be honest folks.

I'm seeing all this money being poured into all these unmineable, centralized cryptocurrencies, and I fear it's going to unravel in a horrible fucking way for a lot of people.

Yep it sure will. [...]

Yep, but first the Bubble. As it was said: you got to own this Bubble. The Bubble will pave the way for broader development and acceptance long term. Those who will be burned are (capitalist) collateral damage in the process of price discovery and sorting out what works and what does not work long term.
1989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: January 02, 2018, 04:21:40 PM
Meanwhile, the COSS/BTC trading pair is working again as it should and 24hr volume is up to a cool $1M again. Things are looking good with the release of the new UI imminent.

1991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITLATTICE] A Revolutionary Step - Bitlattice.org on: January 01, 2018, 09:39:43 PM
Hi.  Your project sounds interesting.  How does it compare to RaiBlocks?  Are you able to overcome the security issues and lack of decentralization found there?

Bitlattice is not comparable to RaiBlocks or any other block chain solution. As to the structure of Bitlattice, it will not be based on block chain at all, rather on its own platform, the Bitlattice. It will be a lattice structure of nodes with a metric distance between each node. The use of metrics enable shortest vector problem. In the Bitlattice there will be fully encrypted entities that will decide over the state of the bitlattice nodes.

With all due respect, this does not sound like something the average investor will understand. Do you have an ELI5?
1992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the hell are Crypto kitties? on: January 01, 2018, 02:14:11 PM
I seem to have sold a Crypto Kitty last week (email went in my spam folder). Apparently, there are still kitties being bought.

The COSS/BTC pair is indeed down considerably (see: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/coss/). I'm sure they are working on this.

The fun part is: we will still be discussing the 3rd 4rd and xt Airdrop on 31 December 2018. And the token will still have not hit $0  Roll Eyes

No worries about the delay.

FIAT-Gateway is the key word.

If you paid with BTC, the amount of tokens will be shown on your member page on the website.
If you pay with Ether, you will receive NEXT tokens in your MEW wallet. So there is a difference here. Did you check your member page for the number of NEXT tokens assigned to you?
