1981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Run and Bear Market on: August 30, 2022, 02:47:54 PM
This is a simple question, When this bearish market end and Bull run start.
Thanks

I guess the "this is a simple question" part is sarcastic! Every period can be bullish or bearish for specific coins and tokens, and we have periods when the majority in the crypto space go up/down in price and that is bullish and bearish crypto times! Nobody can't accurately predict when something is starting and ending, it's why we have trading!
1982  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can One Actually Do Crypto Trading As A Living? on: August 30, 2022, 11:59:11 AM
I've heard of many people talk about cryptocurrency and its potentials all the time and at a point I begin to wonder if one can just depend fully on cryptocurrency as a means of livelihood.

Well, have in mind that some people accumulated a lot of coins in the early days and now they can trade with huge capital! I guess for those people it's more profitable to spend time analyzing the market and making trades than sitting in some office for a regular salary every month!

It's hard for small players, with small bankrolls we often choose higher-risk trades in order to make some meaningful profit, but because of that we often face losses... so without some nice capital it's impossible to fully depend on crypto trading as the only source of income!
1983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots and Crash Game version Football. on: August 30, 2022, 07:46:35 AM
I think casinos just want it to be more lively and engaging as well as being catchy considering the trend in the space. It's still a crash game after all but kudos to those talented dev artists that made these amazing UIs, they make gambling really more fun. Maybe next time we see some anime characters in a crash game. Who knows?

I guess we all like to see new designs, it can be better fun with a new UI. These ones are about football, they are focusing on football lovers. I am sure we will see different themes in the future, as you said that depends on devs and their skills and plans!

I played "Penalty Manager" at Betnomi I think, they have a nice choice of similar games, some of them are very interesting! When it comes to slots with a football theme I tried a few of them before, now my choice leans towards megaways slots and the ones with more lines. When I am watching these football slots non of the images attracts me enough to try some of them.
1984  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kings Club Poker, semi-private games, mainly for serious poker players on: August 29, 2022, 07:09:41 PM
You don't get it. What attracts serious players to a poker room is weak players. The more weak players the better. A poker site intended primarily for regulars is destined to fail.
That makes sense. There needs to be an optimal mix of players based on experience for the games to become more entertaining.

That makes sense if someone is in only for money! We can see that personality type in everything, people who do things only for money and profit, but some of us really enjoy playing... and when you like the game it's boring to play against weaker people, there's no fun and motivation in that! Don't get me wrong, I also like to win and take some cash with me, but it's much better when you play with serious people and you win! That's why bitcointalk poker games were unique, for many it was more about the poker and winning against others than the payout in the end! It's hard to find something similar around.

1985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good one for invest on: August 28, 2022, 07:13:32 PM
No!

When something starts with "how much can I earn" you need to stop reading, close the tab and move on! Simple as that! Don't invest in promises, check the project and what they plan to do! If it's just "earning, making money" most likely it's a scam! Ask yourself how they plan to make a profit if they don't offer anything except "how much I can earn"?! Where is the product? What do they actually do to make some profit so shareholders can get their cut?

Invest in projects that offer something real... not just big promises!
1986  Economy / Gambling / Re: Some Crazy Fun Facts About Casinos And Gambling You Might Not Know. on: August 28, 2022, 05:44:01 PM
10. The World's Smallest Casino Is in the Back of a London Cab.

The alleged "World's Smallest Casino" doesn't even have an address. The Grosvenor Casino in London has a mobile casino in the back of a cab, complete with a gaming table, dealer, bar, and a TV showing sports. The promotional stunt lets riders go anywhere in the city as long as they make a charitable donation... or they can go straight to the casino, free of charge.

Out of all of them, this one is the most interesting and funniest in my opinion! I'm trying to imagine this taxi, it even seems interesting if it's a long trip, you can gamble until you arrive so that any trip in this taxi goes by very quickly! I wonder what kind of games are offered in this taxi... it would be extra interesting if it was a "live game" with some very hot female dealer! Imagine that!? I would have them on my speed dial! Smiley
1987  Economy / Economics / Re: Taliban Leadershipeadership Impose Ban on Cryptocurrency in Afghanistan on: August 28, 2022, 02:04:51 PM
Just watch all the prohibitions that the Taliban have imposed. Are there reasonable restrictions? Should this be surprising? Anything related to freedom is not allowed. The government thinks that it can only govern Afghanistan by force. Sometimes it works. In addition, many residents of Afghanistan have a very low level of education. And it is for them that owning a bitcoin can be a difficult science. Therefore, it is hoped that the government will be able to improve the standard of living and literacy of its people. And after that, they will think about revising the ban on cryptocurrencies.

Well, I'm not surprised! They have some crazy laws in my opinion, but I am open-minded! Education opens up one's mind, and that's not working for the Taliban government, so I don't think they will try to improve their educational system in the right way, they will probably work on spreading their "way of seeing the world" among Afghanistan people! Those who think differently from the government can only run away from there, otherwise, they can only have problems if they are open about it! It's not like Afghanistan is not the only example, sadly there are similar countries...

In your "Top 5 Poker Sites," the first is "CoinPoker", they are still working? And you listed Stake as well, but I don't think they poker!
Lol, I just spent 10 minutes going through stake to see if I missed the poker somehow. Maybe he is thinking of 3 card poker which is not really poker in the traditional manner.

@OP what is your definition of POKER.

I only see now that I have a typo! When I was active Stake didn't have poker, but I haven't turned on Stake in a while, I thought maybe they added poker in the meantime... apparently, they didn't!

...
More and more updates will follow everyday  Cool

You already have some good suggestions that can help you improve the site! Good luck!
1989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are your favorite dealers ? on: August 27, 2022, 07:05:06 PM
Sometimes online live casino games are boring even when you win because the dealer is not good at all while other times you spend a real good time despite losing because the dealer is very entertaining and funny.
So do you have one (or more) favorite dealer at an online casino? What's his/her name? Which casino provider does he work for? What games does he manage? Why do you like him?

Actually a very nice question! I mostly play slots and fast in-house games, but sometimes I play live games as well! When I decide to play some live game I choose some nice-looking girl, but as I don't play often I never had the chance to "connect" with some of those girls! People who have a love for live games for sure has some favorite girls, to have a favorite dealer you have to be a regular player!
1990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How should i diversify my crypto portfolio? on: August 27, 2022, 04:35:42 PM
To diversify your crypto portfolio, you should buy coins that have a chance to go up but you have to research which coins have that chance. If you don't research or analyze the coin, you probably won't have that chance because every coin on the market has an equal chance of increasing. You must be aware of this to choose the right coin for your investment.

But which coins have a chance to rise in price? Nobody knows! That's why it's important to do at least some research, to check for yourself what's behind some project... It would be so easy and simple if we would know which coin will go up in the future, I guess we would stack that one until insanity, selling everything we have and waiting for the bullish periods!

Diversifying means choosing multiple investments instead of going all in one! I guess many coins and tokens have potentially great futures, but nobody knows anything for sure! It's why people need to be ready to take some risks and get into what they believe, not what they heard from others, we should make our own choices and simply trust them!

Well, you got my attention, I use martingale calculators, I like auto betting! I was interested in the strategies, but the page is empty! Mostly there are a couple of them like Martingale, d'Alembert, Labouchere, etc. I thought I will see something new that will be interesting for me.

In your "Top 5 Poker Sites," the first is "CoinPoker", they are still working? And you listed Stake as well, but I don't think they poker!

1993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: August 26, 2022, 03:18:19 PM
I think that in some regards, gambling on sports events bears some similarities to day trading. Which is to say if you make a decision and back out early, then not only do you miss out on profit, (or in the case of gambling, winnings) but you miss out on your own funds because you make losses while "flip flopping" because of your own uncertainty.

It's a really bad decision, in the long term.

I agree with you, it's exactly as you explained. I also think that cashing out is a bad decision, especially if someone does it often, in the long run, that person will have big losses! Changing minds too much happens when people have doubts about their decisions, I like the term "flip-flopping", I think it explains this situation pretty nicely!

I never cash out earlier, if I am uncertain about some games I will just skip them, when I choose games and I make a bet that's it, it will be or not...
1994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common Types of Bonuses Offered by Online Casinos on: August 26, 2022, 02:09:00 PM
And promo codes, what kind of bonus it is?
The promo codes could vary from the casino, I remember seeing one casino share their promo codes that are similar to a welcome bonus, or sometimes it's a combo of welcome bonus and freespins.

There are also promo codes that are in the form of cashable bonuses where you can claim the codes if you've been wagering in the past few days or weeks.

I think most crypto casinos have promo codes... on BC.game they are called shitcodes, they share it on their forum and telegram/discord as well, also you can't claim it if you are not some higher level, for example, there are shitcodes just for +70 levels. You can find "Shitcode" icon on the left side, where you can redeem the codes you have! Wolf has the same thing, you can find it on the VIP tab "Bonus codes", I got one in the mail... and many others are doing the same thing, usually you need some higher level to be able to claim those promo codes!
1995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think metaverse have a place in the world on: August 26, 2022, 07:58:46 AM
Do you think that Metaverse will actually work out in the future? I am one of the very few that believes that Metaverse won't be successful...
The concept of a virtual environment have been introduced a couple of times in some movies that you have seen even long before it was formerly called the Metaverse. It is a concept that is bound to hold more relevance as time goes on especially as more technology creeps in.

But the metaverse, in reality, is something different, I think we are far away from the metaverse we saw in some movies! No doubt metaverse possibilities are huge, but at the moment I didn't see anything really interesting that will make me look deeper and maybe invest in it! So my opinion is that metaverse will have a place in the world, but there's a lot of work to be done to make the metaverse more desirable, the projects I see around needs to be improved a lot! As always some projects will fail along the way, new ones will come, all in all, what we see now is just a beginning.
1996  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡ Bitcarra | The Most Exciting iGaming Platform 🎮 Amazing Bonuses & Rewards 💰 on: August 24, 2022, 09:01:06 PM
...
I don't know about that CT you are talking about. Was it a kind of token or something? Maybe they remove that for a reason like it wasn't a success and maybe they gave an announcement before they remove it but  you are only not aware of it.

You took the time to read this topic and everything related... sarcasm, just to be clear! Smiley

I guess it's OK having in mind the rest of your comment! It's not about speed, it's about breaking the word! You can't claim one thing and then just change it just because you can! Maybe they are active on social medias, and maybe they can fool people there, but I don't see the reason why would we let them do the same here?

The bottom line is simple:
trust depends on your intentions , and I'm also a little confused why they didn't make an announcement here , if you are in doubt never do any transaction unless you have seen feedback from users, maybe believe it or not

I guess people who check feedback from users here will not play on this site! Bitcarra team could make more effort and make everything clear for all of us (old players), their plans and intentions... but instead of that, they decided to keep us in dark and to move on! I don't trust them, but I am open to see something from them, maybe they have a valid explanation that can make me change my mind!
1997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cronos (CRO) Price Prediction for 2022 and 2023 on: August 24, 2022, 06:42:32 PM
I am getting some Cronos on the BC.games wheel! The current price is $0.13.

To be honest I am not so familiar with this coin, except I am getting them on the wheel as some free coins and gamble with CRO from time to time I never tried to learn more about Cronos! I like the optimism and maybe Cronos can make some progress, after reading this I will try to make more CRO and I will not exchange it for other coins! If I manage to make more and the price really hits $0.9 next year it will be like hitting a double jackpot!
1998  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: August 24, 2022, 04:06:02 PM
Hi OwlGames, I was browsing around your casino, and I noticed that its users can only log into the site through using a MetaMask wallet? I'm not an Ethereum user, nor am I a Binance blockchain user. Is there a "regular" way to log into OwlGames casino and deposit Bitcoins? It's the only cryptocurrency I have, and I would really like to play Craps from Nucleus. Cool

There’s an option to signup using email when you click the connect button. They will require to provide user id and email address to create account. Your password will be sent to your email and you can change it on the in game option. I’m currently using email address on my account to make sure that I can recover it just in case my wallet got hack.

I signed up using email only, but if you plan to stake OWL tokens from wagering you will have to create some of the wallets for that... to be sure which one, go to https://owldao.io/pool, I still don't stake my OWL tokens, I postpone checking this more closely (I guess my amount is not big), I am just gambling with them from time to time a few throws on dice or crash (their in-house games).
Bottom line, if you plan to lock OWLs you get from wagering, for staking you will need to create some wallet and connect it with the casino! If you don't plan to do it right away, like me, you will be able to play and you will earn OWLs, but you will not be able to stake them.
1999  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: August 24, 2022, 07:43:22 AM
~snip~
I can't see any of reputable and trustworthy casino of this forum to your list . I will not goo for how many years they running. To be honest I have heard many of the casino names you have given for the first time.  Like many others I think they are not very reputable at least for this forum. And also have question about aren't you promote these sites ?

I don't see any intention from OP to update the site, to add new casinos, games, reviews... Looks like he just wants referrals and that's it, he added those casinos quickly and left it like that, so whoever registers through him, that's it! Like he doesn't wish to bother to make something more serious from his service!
So who register under this affiliate site (if we can call it like that) will just do the favor for the owner! With affiliate services on this forum, players also have some perks if decide to play under their affiliate... and support if some issues appear!
2000  Other / Archival / Re: Leading countries in the use of crypto on: August 23, 2022, 08:50:42 PM
What surprises and amuses me the most in this spreadsheet is the exact number of owners of cryptocurrencie in each country. Where are these numbers taken from? The US has 27,491,810 crypto owners and Colombia has 3,122,449. How can a Merchant Machine know the specific number of owners and where does this data come from?

I also doubt some of these stats... I am anonymous since the beginning, and I am still managing to stay anonymous! I wonder how many people think as I do and if I can guess many of us from here skip doing KYC whenever we can! It's interesting to see some numbers, but we can't trust in every statistic presented by "I don't know whom", in this case, some "merchant machine site"!

Anyway, there's no sign of my county, as I assumed! Some of us are behind the world, for a decade or two, minimum...
