1981  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which would be better ? on: April 10, 2022, 06:32:17 AM
You don't need to know anything,if you want to play the "low IQ gambling" games like slots, dice and all the luck-based variations of slots and dice.Playing poker or blackjack requires some skills and practice.
Sports betting is more about knowing on what teams and players to bet on,so you will have to gather some information about their performance and analyze it.
If you are approaching gambling while thinking about profits you have a wrong mindset.
I've said this many times.Comparing sports betting with casinos is like comparing apples and bananas.
You can play in both for fun if you want to.Just don't expect to make any profits.

1982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Ether Prices Capped Upside Ahead, Says JPMorgan on: April 10, 2022, 06:17:27 AM
This looks like the same old "Tether pumped the Bitcoin price. If Tether gets destroyed,Bitcoin goes back to 1K USD." type of FUD.Just replace Tether with "stablecoins",because multiple stablecoins were created in the recent years.
Just because the crypto traders are buying stablecoins, that doesn't necessarily mean that they will buy Bitcoin with those stablecoins. The correlation between the BTC price and the stablecoins market cap is questionable.Actually, the stablecoins market cap goes up in times of bearish markets, when the crypto traders are getting rid of BTC and altcoins, exchanging for stablecoins.
The stablecoin market cap going down might actually mean that a lot traders have bought BTC/altcoins.
1983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 08, 2022, 05:48:39 AM
Why is this thread in the Gambling discussion forum?
The thread is about marketing and advertising, rather than gambling.Crypto.com is not a crypto casino/sports betting platform and there isn't any discussion about sports betting here.
I admire the fact that the Crypto.com team are doing everything they can to promote their company and cryptocurrencies in general, but I would never become their customer.
Companies like Crypto.com and Coinbase are nothing different than the fiat banks. They are centralized custodial platforms, that can scam you anytime they want.
1984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transitioning to Bitcoin Maxi on: April 08, 2022, 05:22:36 AM
I'm not an expert, but AFAIK,paying capital gains tax is required only when you sell your asset in exchange for fiat money. Why don't you just exchange your ETH for BTC?That way you won't owl capital gains tax and you will get more BTC.
Getting involved into Bitcoin mining is way different than crypto trading and there are risks involved. What if crypto mining suddenly gets banned in your country? What if the electricity prices suddenly increase? What if your mining equipment breaks?
Investing in BTC mining with borrowed money multiplies the risk by two.
At the end of the day,you decide what to do with your coins,OP.Do not take my advise too seriously.

1985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will "hyperbitcoinization" become a reality? on: April 07, 2022, 11:35:18 AM
Nope.Hyperbitcoinization won't become a reality.The governments won't allow such process to happen.
I'm thinking about another global currency, created by an agreement between the great powers, that will replace the US dollar and Euro and will be used as a global currency and store of value.
This new global currency will be backed by physical assets and it will be governed by a global central bank, which will unite all the major central banks in the world.Blockchain technology might or might not be adopted, but Bitcoin/crypto would never be adopted as legal tender.
However, this might happen after several decades. The current fiat system will keep dying slowly.
1986  Economy / Economics / Re: Bryan Solstin, US Senate Candidate: I Will Make Bitcoin Legal Tender on: April 07, 2022, 11:09:57 AM
One senator cannot achieve anything by himself. There has to be a majority in both the US congress and the senate,in order for this to happen. This is simply impossible.
I remember that one US presidential candidate was promising mass Bitcoin adoption,if he gets elected(I don't remember his name,I only remember that he was Asian-American).
I assume that this Bryan Solstin won't even receive enough support from the Democratic party.
The democratic party supports only puppets of the Clinton family.
This means that he would never get elected.
1987  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you want to be an admin of an online casino? on: April 07, 2022, 06:09:24 AM
This is hilarious. Grin
If I understand this "offer" correctly, basically OP is offering someone to "invest" in his shit casino in order to get hired as an admin. What's the point? Who would want to be an admin of a crypto casino for free?Is the "admin" going to get paid a salary for his work(other than the "dividend" from his "investment")?
OP can fire the "admin" after a day or two and just run away with the coins.
This is either a scam method or just a really weird business idea(that simply won't work).
This is not how you do business and build trust in the cryptocurrency gambling industry.
1988  Other / Off-topic / Re: An Unforgettable Day In my Crypto world on: April 07, 2022, 05:49:30 AM
When I'm new to this crypto sea,I wondered about many things that my boy shared who is a crypto marketer since 2013.He told about rise in value of all coins, trading, how altcoins played a role .I mesmirized seeing more than 1 crore he has in his pocket. His hardwork, his holdings finally went worthless because we lost everything in a single day owing to market crash the day we forced to cash out the holded money for a very emergency need. I lost my hope. My love towards crypto made me cry at last.we forced to pay debts. But Currently his hardwork again made me to get focused towards crypto ,also myself into it.I think a day comes I will share here again with an statement Crypto Saved My Life.

I guess that your son made a few mistakes, but that's alright.Mistakes are necessary,in order to learn valuable lessons in life.
1.Being too optimistic and kinda delusional about the future of altcoins.
2.Panic selling when the market prices crash.
3.Trading with funds you can't afford to lose.
Life is all about ups and downs, sometimes it gets really hard and after a month or a year,it gets way better.
I don't think that crypto "saved" your life.Crypto is just a tool. You and your son saved your lives by hard work and not giving up.
1989  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Financial crimes against traders on: April 06, 2022, 11:58:44 AM
OP hasn't been active on the forum since April 1.Maybe he's too busy with his investigations and groundbreaking discoveries. Grin
Demanding information from BAKKT,CMEgroup and the Security and Exchange Commission?
Who are you?FBI or maybe Interpol? Grin
There are various pump&dump groups on Telegram and Discord, which might be scamming their users. Why don't you just report theses groups to Telegram and Discord?Posting on this forum won't change anything.
You have a newbie account.Nobody would trust you enough to send you valuable information about financial crimes and fraud.
1990  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold-backed ruble could be a game-changer on: April 06, 2022, 11:35:07 AM
I don't mind Russia and China trying to backup their national currencies with gold reserves.
A return back to the gold standard might be refreshing for the global financial system.
This might force the USA/EU to stop with the fiat money printing madness.
However,I don't believe that Russia will achieve anything other than just stabilizing it's own national currency.
This move simply isn't enough to replace the US dollar as the global currency.
The real thread for the US dollar would be all Asian countries and the EU dumping US dollar transactions.
So far the EU will remain under US influence and this isn't going to change anytime soon.
1991  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bit555 - Crypto Casino! Find More Unique Games! on: April 06, 2022, 06:05:26 AM
Why is this "Stay Tuned" type of forum thread?
Why OP doesn't publish an announcement when the casino is fully functional?
Such announcement threads simply cannot make me curious or interested in the project.
It actually makes me doubt the quality of the finished website.
So you have a bunch of dead social media pages a Discord server and a Github page.
That's great,but so what?
It's been a few days since your announcement thread, but your Github page is dead and your Instagram account is still standing at 0 posts and 0 followers.
That's some "great" social proof right there. It definitely shows OP's dedication for this project.
I really hope that OP will become more active in this thread and on the Bit555 social media accounts.

1992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Curbing Blockchain evolution? on: April 06, 2022, 05:34:45 AM
The concept of blockchain technology with rise of Bitcoin in 2009 which has created a decentralized ecosystem where the transactions are peer to peer while bypassing third parties & their heavy commissions. The transactions are executed with fast speed and low cost also there is full transparency with a comfort that the user is not required to reveal his/ her identity. The moral is that you are having full control of your assets and can do transactions as per your will.
Further as more and more people are interested and using blockchain technology so what is the meaning of banning bitcoin/crypto? Can anyone ban bitcoin in reality or its a part of fud which is created repeatedly every 2/3 months to keep out weak hands and took advantage?

BTC transactions weren't always "fast speed and low cost".
I remember several time periods, when BTC transactions were "slow speed and high cost".
Yeah, you could bypass third parties by using Bitcoin, but in reality most BTC users ARE USING third parties-custodial exchanges.
Yes,Bitcoin can be banned by any government in the world, but that doesn't mean that all the Bitcoiners would stop using it.
Blockchain technology can be used without Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies.Many banks and financial services have stated that they want to adopt blockchain technology, but that doesn't mean that they would adopt Bitcoin/altcoins.
1993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all cryptocurrencies merged together? on: April 05, 2022, 11:32:40 AM
This sounds like the most stupid idea I've ever seen. Grin
How could the PoW and PoS blockchains get united into one big blockchain?Any idea about this,OP?
What's the point of Bitcoin merging with a thousand shitcoins and useless tokens?
What't the point of Bitcoin merging with centralized shitcoins like Ripple or even stablecoins like Tether?
Is this even possible?
The cryptocurrency industry needs competition, not cooperation, event though all the altcoins aren't real competitors to Bitcoin.
Many altcoin/shitcoin developers clearly hate Bitcoin Core.Do you think that they will join forces with the Bitcoin Core developers?I don't think so.
1994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free Gambling Course provided by OnlineGambling on: April 05, 2022, 11:10:40 AM
I have never played BlackJack and I don't plan to play BlackJack anytime soon.I've always been more interested into poker and I wish that more crypto casinos could publish their own online poker courses for free.
Having online poker/blackjack courses available for free is a great marketing approach that will attract many newbie players. At the end of the day, attracting newbie players might be a better strategy for a casino, rather than trying to attract all the hardcore gamblers.
1995  Economy / Economics / Re: How did we all get here? on: April 05, 2022, 06:45:20 AM
How did the USA get there?
1.Expensive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan(during the Bush and Obama administrations)
2.Paying off for the "too big to fail" banks and corporations during the 2008-2011 financial crisis.(the Obama administration spent around 5 trillion dollars).
3.Owning the "global money printing machine",since the US dollar is the global currency.
4.Lowering the taxes during the Trump administration.
5.Keeping the interest rates really low(or negative).
6.Allowing the rich and the big corporations to avoid taxation by using offshore companies.
7.Refusing to cut federal costs, because the voters are going to vote for the other party.

There's no point of having a balanced federal budget, since you could print all the money you want. Grin
1996  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRIMEDICE weak self-exclusion system on: April 05, 2022, 06:23:07 AM
Asking a casino to improve it's self-exclusion system is the same as asking an alcohol/tobacco store to stop selling alcohol and tobacco to people, who are addicted to drinking and smoking. It simply doesn't work.
Even if the Primedice self-exclusion system is way better, what can stop you from betting on another crypto casino? There are hundreds of crypto casinos out there. Can you self-exclude yourself from all of them?
Have you ever tried to seek professional help about your gambling problem?
The forum members here can you give you advise about your problem, but it's up to you to find a way to control yourself and your behavior.
1997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: April 05, 2022, 05:57:41 AM
There aren't any Bitcoin ATMs in the town where I live.
Even if there were Bitcoin ATMs,I can't find any reason to use one. There's no point for me to use an BTC ATM.
Bitcoin ATMs are a dead business model,if you ask me.We have computers and smartphones, what's the point of ATMs?Using a BTC wallet on your computer or smartphone is way more convenient and probably cheaper.
ATMs are good for fiat money, not for crypto.I've been using ATMs for fiat money and I won't stop doing so.
1998  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Using BTC on Amazon Store on: April 04, 2022, 11:30:32 AM
AFAIK,new members on purse.io can only purchase physical gift cards on Amazon in exchange for BTC.
You will have to get thru several trades,in order to increase your account rank and unlock purchases of physical goods from Amazon.I'm not sure if this is currently the case with purse.io.
I was playing around with purse.io 2 years ago,but I decided to stop using this website, since I don't find any benefit from using it.
Purse.io is more or less dead, since most of the traders moved to alternatives like Paxful.
I have the feeling that websites like Purse and Paxful are mostly used by gift card scammers(people, who steal gift cards and redeem them for BTC).
1999  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-03-30] Apple is rumored to announce support for Bitcoin payments on: April 04, 2022, 11:08:47 AM
This seems like fake news to me.There isn't any valid evidence about those rumors.
Apple always had a more self-sustained business model.
They usually don't want to rely on other companies(except when they are outsourcing production in Asian countries) and they don't want to use technologies over which they don't have control.
Apple is the kind of company that would create their own "applecoin",rather than adopting Bitcoin or some altcoin.
I don't mind them adopting BTC payments, but there's no reason for them to do so.Who is going to use Bitcoin to buy an iPhone or Mac?Everyone is expecting the BTC price to hit another ATH sooner or later.
2000  Economy / Economics / Re: WTF? Food prices expected to raise up to 50% in German supermarket. on: April 04, 2022, 06:36:23 AM
20 to 50% seems pretty exaggerated. The food price growth will be more like 10-25%.
The European central bank must stop with the quantitative easing, but this might create big problems with the government debt of southern European counties like Greece and Italy.
Germany will have to re-launch it's nuclear power plants,in order to reduce the energy production by gas power plants. This will take some time.
I really hope that the war in Ukraine ends before June,so that Russia and Ukraine will be able to export grain and foods to Europe(if the western sanctions get removed).
The high levels of inflation in Europe and North America will continue in the next few years.
