1981  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: July 24, 2022, 01:10:33 PM
i am currently thinking if we all boycott all gambling sites or other sites from russia but it turns out that the owners of these sites are not citizens who fully agree with the war being carried out and the owners of these sites have to provide for their families, will we also be that bad? i think boycotting gambling sites is not the right decision because gambling owners don't necessarily support the war to happen. as far as i know, many russians don't agree with the war, but they can't go against putin's decision.
and for gambling sites 1xBET and 1xBit, whether it's russian or not, but i wasn't there. it's not that i support the russian boycott but i'm just afraid that the allegations of the gambling scam have not been resolved
Casino owners are citizens, so they also oppose government decisions but they don't have the power to oppose government policies. I also agree, blocking sites from Russia is not the right solution because it has nothing to do with the conditions of the Russia vs Ukraine war, I'm not talking about 1xBet or 1xBit because they have received bad trust from scam activities.

They don't like what's happening on their country to so its not fair for them to be included on this collective boycotting. Maybe some people think that this could hurt the government but if we think about humanity we can say that joining to boycott their businesses will not do anything good to us or to anyone. For 1xbit? people should boycott that casino because the numbers of accusation is enough for them to tell that they are not good casino.
1982  Economy / Economics / Re: Surprisingly, Elon's Tesla is not so keen on hodling BTC anymore on: July 24, 2022, 11:22:27 AM
Elon Musk is easily one of the most fickle characters that I have observed over time. If he could plan on purchasing Twitter and back out later on, supporting BTC and withdrawing his support later on isn't a big deal at all in comparison.

He isn't a good person with a black heart based on everything that I have heard about him, but he is a genius when it comes to business which is why I don't think he took these decisions on a whim.

Fact is that he simply manipulates the cryptocurrency market for his own gains now and then.
We must simply accept this for what it is, Elon is only interested in making money with his investments and there is nothing wrong with that, he is not someone like Saylor which seems to genuinely believe in bitcoin and its future, so the fact that Elon is now selling his bitcoin should not surprise us at all, if anything this is something a lot of us saw coming as he never gave the same aura of confidence Saylor gave, and now we are finally realizing we were right all along.

The pressure to remain at the top richest man on planet is so high so he need to find multiple sources of income to retain this and he find an opportunity to gain millions of dollars in crypto so for sure he will continue his stint on bitcoin to gain more money with it. And we cannot expect him to give his 100% support on bitcoin because he surely here to gain not for the new technology offered by cryptocurrency industry.
1983  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: July 23, 2022, 12:46:40 PM
This is the result if the president as a leader cannot make wise decisions for the welfare of the people and only cares about himself.
I believe Sri Lanka will be much better after this very sad event, hopefully a strong leader will emerge and be able to advance the country.

This is huge lesson needed to learn by their citizens and for their remaining officials since if they didn't get learning experience from this and continue to elec corrupt officials for sure this will happen to then again. But since the world is watching at their situation for sure there acting president will do all what they can do to revive back the economy of Sri Lanka.
1984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can applications/games that promise coins and tokens as rewards be trusted? on: July 23, 2022, 11:43:27 AM
What you need to know is the early adopter will always win and it only survive during the hype happen, when the hype ended, you will expect the token price will suddenly drop and become worthless. The reason is on the beginning, there's less people play, so the tokens are limited. When it's hyped, the price will increase and attract new people to play, due to limited token, not many people can afford or have it. Then, they will ask the developer to mint more token or increase the max supply, this will make the price drop due to no limited token. In the end, it will become worthless.

Those are for short term hype only and if we base at current happening on them we can see that play to earn tokens are in bad situation, even the top NFT games arw suffering from huge dumps. So we need to think twice if we gonna invest on this and if we really like the idea or the game we better sell if we are in profit since securing profit is best than being a bag holder.
1985  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you look down on Bushy or undeveloped areas? on: July 22, 2022, 11:05:20 PM
Yes, many people are fully ready to use any amount of money to buy properties in the bushy areas than undeveloped areas, because many people prefer to live in the town where you can get what you want at the moment than undeveloped areas were you will find it difficult to get what you want at the moment. Many properties in the bushy areas are more easy to sell to make a good income, because many rich men are very ready to use any amount of money to buy any properties in the bushy areas than undeveloped areas that will take many years before it will start developing in the community.
Considerations you should need to mind off when buying a land(bushy area)

1. Access to main road
2. Location
3. Nearby community or view spots
etc....

These would be the main things you would be checking on before you would consider on buying a lot or property.
You cant just shell out some funds without even thinking about those things because land purchase wont come cheap
even if you do say its per/sqm is bit cheap than others since area is wide or depend but still a significant amount to shell out.

those factors are important because if you will develop your land, do you think it is okay for you to have a long walk in case of emergency, if you happen to have no car or your car is broken? you'll never know the situation you will be in. so yeah, there are a lot of considerations you need to think about it. it is not because the property is cheap but if all the factors you think you can live with, then, go for it.

Even if you didn't develop the area and if all of those criteria meet by the bushy land you own for sure the value or it will skyrocket since businessman will buy it if they see a potential of the land you own. But also eventhough the mentioned has not been yet develop still the bushy land is good investment because for sure in future all of place will get develop by government and price of lot keep rising so the one who own something will surely get benefits in future.
1986  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: buying low and selling high on: July 22, 2022, 12:23:10 PM
is using spot trading to buy low and sell high for few dollars a good practice? a close relative said he was able to grow his crypto portfolio this way, is this a good practice?

If you are in profit on your spot trades then you are doing good already and remember that profit is profit so get settle with it. Since for wanting more you might experience a heavy lose due to unforseen circumstances like bag holding some coins because you believe that it will pump. So if you are new be settle with little because from their you can practice more your skills and for sure in future you can earn more with it.
1987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in Moderation, Pros can out weigh its Cons in Financial and Health? on: July 21, 2022, 11:42:40 PM
Potential for Big Wins Well gambling is a game of chance where if you got lucky and hit a huge multiplier, you can bring home a huge amount of money.
This is where i do see where most people do really focus on on which the pros would be seeing on this spot where someone could potentially earn huge amount of money specially on hitting
big multipliers or jackpots which you could actually say that majority of us gamblers do see this as a pro but we know that having that intent on a severe manner could really be ending up
on someone on ending up on being addicted thats why it would really act out as a double blade if you dont really make yourself in good control then you would really fall into the pit of addiction.
Majority of those things above are indeed the pro sides but if things turns out to be excessive then it would be eventually goes to the negative side of things.
So lets just be wary and careful on our actions is the key on making yourself safe.

This is why most experts advise doing things in moderation.  Anything that is excessive is harmful both to our health and finance.  Gamblers often ignore this kind of advice since they are too hooked on getting huge multipliers.  We all know being greedy do not give a good result.  We will end up either losing more or worst than that.  That is why we should strictly implement gambling moderation.  Let the big win take its course while we are playing in our perfectly planned responsible gambling engagement.

Anything excess is harmful so players should really gamble in moderation to avoid any huge damage taken from what decisions they do and gambling is made for entertainment, so people should not defeat the purpose on why this type of games created since if they exceed on their expectation and want for more especially on earning a huge money for sure they will never go anywhere and will just put on risky situation.
1988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can applications/games that promise coins and tokens as rewards be trusted? on: July 21, 2022, 01:28:38 PM
I have come across a couple of applications and games promising various redeemable tokens as rewards for completing simple task like walking or just playing simple games etc. some examples of these applications are STEPN, Sweatcoin, Crypto PopCoin, bitcoin blast etc. How well can I trust these apps? Has anyone here made anything of value from either playing the games or using such applications?

Don't give any overwhelming trust to any of them even if they provide promising profit to their investors since we don't know how they will end up or how long they will last. If you want to invest on the platforms you mention you better check the background as well the price history of their token so that you will not invest late or get a problem when those platform starting to give a head ache to their investors. Make sure always to sell once you are starting to accumulate their tokens to secure your capital and after that its up to you to decide what's next action you want to do.
1989  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Boom City tournament 🏆 75 mBTC prize pool on: July 21, 2022, 10:47:04 AM
The prices are going up so prediction contest speculation will take a turn according to it as we have already crossed the $23k levels now and it's pump for the ants turning big into bull run so hope this continues and make your prediction after analysing the market and see if they manage to stay high until the end of month.

So what are you thoughts about it?
In the July 28 prediction contest there is a possibility of a bullrun at the end of the month which makes speculation more difficult but this momentum will indeed occur, but there is a possibility that it could go down again considering the market is still not stable.

My analysis is there is a possibility of $ 25k some predictions of the possibility they choose to be on top for now, slowly bitcoin will crawl a little.
There is a possibility of €24,900

My closest prediction to this for the end of the month is at €24000 as this is the closest value what bitcoin could possibly reach on this current season. And I think even if the recover slightly good still we might not see any huge pump since no big news coming this month of july which can help bitcoin to get a good rally. But let see there are still lot of days remaining for this month and hopefully we are wrong with our prediction then see bitcoin rise up for even more.
1990  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: FBI warns about Fraudulent Cryptocurrency Investments on: July 20, 2022, 10:03:16 PM
So do you think after the warning these scams are going to stop until and unless people become aware about it and stop investing their funds in these scam projects?

FBI issued these cyber warning now but there has been many scam alerts which people completely ignore and continue to invest with brain wash in these projects and then get rugged by them as you can see this one also worth million dollars.

How could they raise $40+ million so easily? The answer is people are fool enough to send their funds over to scammers in hope of earning more or greed and carelessness. This is only one example and you would find many more such scams in this crypto market but you need to be extra careful with your funds and don't invest blindly in any of those projects you see over the net.

This scam will not stop because even if FBI warns people about possible scam to happen their are still greedy people who will got victimize on this type of scams because they always thought that government will just take away their opportunity to earn with them without thinking that government is saving them from huge harm.

They raise money easily because there are still people believes that they can earn huge money while sleeping if this chain will not be break and people will not learn about past scams happen for sure we will never see this type of scamming ends.
1991  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: July 20, 2022, 11:57:23 AM
with their almost 2 years in this forum , they have lured many players but there is  only few update the thread about their winning experience , maybe because many of players only uses their Ooms token in which the Play money of the site.
It's not a problem, Ooms or BTC. so it's all about traffic, if they are good in SEO, all people come with real money. You definitely know how apps on the play store earn money?, Of course, from many who downloaded. we already know the main goal of futuur is gambling, but they can earn money other than that, like ads or something like content sponsored on the website.

What the site lacks is traffic and nothing else, because they do not have any accusations of fraud or anything, if you have so much time in the forum what is missing is that it has a boost, promotions, contests, something that is striking in social networks , I am a fan of twitter, and there I get many opportunities to compete for some casinos, maybe that is what you need.

For so many competitors already running successfully here they really need to have proper promotion so that people will not pass when they see this thread and its good to have some contest running because it can create more discussion to this thread and might they can accumulate real time players who want to seek fun with them. This is already discuss I guess they don't have enough funds to execute this options.
And in general, this project is unique and here in the topic more than once they wrote about it. Of course, there are difficulties with the payback of the project precisely because of the long periods of time for devs to receive profit from completed disputes. Here you have your own business plan and it is clear that you will not receive super profits from the project. But it is good precisely because of its uniqueness and is designed for individual, leisurely and thorough people who are ready to wait long and hard. For such people, the project is very interesting.

Uniqueness will not guarantee anything since many gamblers want to have fun and see interesting things happening on a casino. If they can't provide something fun that can convince people to play at them for sure all of what they built for years will turn to waste. So marketing and series of contest is needed so that people will be more curious about what other more they can offer to us here.
1992  Economy / Speculation / Re: Short Term Bitcoin Targets on: July 20, 2022, 09:49:32 AM
The thing is that the price seems to be going down in the last week or so because of the bitcoin future contracts, and if I'm not mistaken, this is every last Friday of the month.

So I'm expecting that the  price is somewhat going down on or before that Friday as the call buyers are obviously bearish on the market. Not sure though how many open call and open put positions are there, perhaps I need to look at deribit. But I would rather say it's better to not anticipated that $29k surge, just saying.

After several occasion of little pumps for sure next to that is dump so I guess this current good trend happening is temporary.

But who knows maybe next month if demand will go up we can say the $25k-$30k reached up again.

If that price mark reach then maybe we can say that this will be the little indicator that we will have a healthy last quarter of the year and we will might never experience to see bitcoin go down at $15k level.
1993  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎥 YouTube Overview event for $10 000|🚀 BFG Listing Anniversary on: July 19, 2022, 11:11:48 PM
It's never a smart idea to come to a casinos topic and write here, first of all it's not following the rules of the forum. If you have any scam accusations on some place, then you start a topic on the scam accusations page. There isn't a situation where you could just come to their topic and start bashing them, it won't work that way and people will defend them.

I will defend them as well, if you keep writing here, I will keep on saying that you are the real scammer and betfury is the good place and they did nothing wrong. But you want my support too?

Go open a scam accusations topic, and show the proof, and I will get there and tell you that with these proofs you are right and they are wrong. See, it's still you, it's still me, it's still about betfury, but because where it is changed, I started to listen to you. That's how you should do.

While it would indeed be better to open a topic in scam accusations and submit all details there, I wouldn't call the OP a scammer just right now. There are always two sides on one story. There is representative of Betfury active on this forum so hopefully he can also provide some details from their side.

Unfair for them to be called as scam for this early because we don't know yet if the accusation is true or not so what most ideal thing to do here is to open up a scam accusation then post all necessary details for people to see and place a judgement towards this claim, but for now for sure we cannot expect people to believe people claiming the same like this knowing that there are some people spreading lies towards casino so that they can stain their reputation.
1994  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about kickex exchanger? on: July 19, 2022, 01:00:56 PM
I  want to trade this site so any expert trader here who already trades this site. thanks

What convincing factor that make you decide to trade on that exchange? You should ask this question on yourself because if you can't find any relevance on them since they don't have good reputation yet then start to doubt with them. We already have numerous good exchangers to trust on so I guess you need to focus on reputable and try the new once they already prove their legitimacy.
1995  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcoin still remains the leading cryptocurrency in the world. on: July 19, 2022, 11:37:52 AM
It is known over years and now that Bitcoin is a mysterious and some kind of digital currency that is not well known how come about and only the creators of it knows and control it and is a supernatural creature and it like is an idea or vision of the creators to control the planet after God.

"Trust" that's what makes bitcoin at the top and if you compare with other cryptocurrency the level of confidence is not much high if we compare it with bitcoin that's why we see it still dominating the market. We didn't have any coin yet that we can call a Bitcoin killer and I believe it will forever stay on position where he is currently on.

Forum account hacking attempt, I received a personal massage with a fake forum link from user tuannguyentn1 that he made a reply to my comment, on clicking the link I was taken to fake forum log in page requesting my password on checking the URL I discovered it is a hacking attempt aimed at stealing my password, both old and new members should be careful because the rate of Bitcointalk account hacking is on the increase. I will share all the link including screenshots, I hope user tuannguyentn1 get red trust Dt2 member to save other from falling victim to this hacker.

Screenshot of message including the fake link:
Snip
Screenshot of redirected page
Snip
If you look at the second screenshot closely you will discover the address in the address bar is not Bitcointalk

So once you fall victim by inputting your forum password your details will be stolen and your account gone.

Nothing new with this as their are still users want to hack some account for their own personal interest and luckily you check the url before going. Also you can report this up to the moderator so that the accounts used for sending you a message about that phising link will get banned so that they or he cannot used that for another phising link spreading again.

1998  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Mt. Gox coins affect Bitcoin’s price in August? on: July 16, 2022, 11:24:11 PM
If they really release it to its old users provably those will give some effect because for sure those old guys would provably sell their stuck coins for long years and this could create fud which can make the price of bitcoin move. But this is for short term only since for sure bitcoin will bounce and many investors will catch the knife at possible bottom price of it.
1999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 16, 2022, 12:45:49 PM
The passage of mandatory KYC in the event of a conditionally large win by a player, here, it seems to me, on the one hand, the occurrence of circumstances of difficulties for withdrawing funds for the player himself, but on the other hand, it is also the responsibility of the casino for AML. But whatever it was, in fact, all these restrictions raise doubts for making a decision to make a deposit or not.
I don't think it's the reason why many people don't want to make a deposit because honestly speaking, most of users didn't even read the whole TOS and just register new account. If there's no such thing aside username, email and password to create new accounts, they will make a deposit after completing that.

Mandatory KYC and withdrawal problem mostly occur when they already make a deposit, not before deposit.

Most of the gamblers and I can say including me rarely read the TOS since I consider it the same with others also I don't have any intention to play intensively or even deposit a large amount of money on casino because I'm also aware about this issue as well scamming. If KYC immediately ask upon signing up for sure players will lose their interest since it creates bad impression not unless if the casino already establish a good reputation.
2000  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: July 16, 2022, 11:27:05 AM
The thing is this.....

Political instability are even worst than corrupt governments, because this triggers a power struggle in government and possibly civil war. Yes, they can over throw their government, but they will have to rid their previous government from all rotten apples.... and then replace them with good politicians and civil servants.  Roll Eyes

Let's hope Sri Lanka will not follow the same path as other 3rd world countries like Zimbabwe, where they removed the Robert Mugabe government and replaced them with more corrupt politicians and civil servants.  Roll Eyes

They must have an election and elect the right people they have a fresh start by ousting a corrupt government hopefully they will follow Philippine's people power instead of country like Zimbabwe, they should negotiate to World Bank and to all their debtors to get a new start in their debt, they need all the support they need, this is a bad experience for a country where the world is in
crisis, because of the pandemic and the war between Russia and Ukraine.

It will take a long time for Sri Lanka to get up on the mess they are currently on because for sure the upcoming officials will doubt to handle this country because they don't have enough money to rebuild their country. Also the expectation of people will became more higher so for sure all eyes are watching on them so simple mistake could trigger the same scenario what they are currently in. Lets just hope everything will be in good shape on that country in future because its really hard to be on that situation especially for their citizens.
