1981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 18, 2021, 03:34:47 PM
spiritual power or consulting to God before placing bet can't do anything related to winning in gambling.
Because I think people have a ritual to do something and it is considered to have a positive effect. Maybe you won't believe it. But most people do prayer and effort. They don't just use strategy but expect help from those they believe in.
There are those who believe it is luck if they win, but luck will not keep coming, so they need a strategy and pray, so that it will be eased. IMO

Or, it became a habit. Gamblers do that. They blow their cards, they wish something with lady luck, or they have some kind of habitual movement before putting the bet. i.e. cross fingers.  Grin
If it gives them fun to do it or they think it makes the chances higher then why not.
But everything will go down to how the roll will come out. It's luck-based mostly using an algorithm like how the raffles are being done.
There are games where it could be cheated like lotto, dice, and other computer-based games today.
God won't help with such a game. If He will talk to you, He might just say to use that to fill your tummy. Just like how your mom taught you.  Grin
1982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Axie Infinity on: June 18, 2021, 12:32:41 PM
For me, it's too late already. You may still gain ROI in this NFT game but it may take longer.
That's why there are people who apply for scholarships. They don't want to invest money anymore but they are the kind who are willing to play the game for profits.
No risk, yes for profits even with just a little amount.

It's up to you. It's a good game and it was built a year ago and still gaining popularity but just slower than last year.
Alright, I am now contradicting myself.  Grin Good luck.
1983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 18, 2021, 07:43:10 AM
What an exciting series between Bucks vs Nets.
Khris Middleton was on fire. I believe, in game 7 it will be even more exciting.

I was looking the game stats and I realized, the Bucks had 51 rebounds, 15 of which were offensive and they also had 6 blocks.

I believe the Bucks played with a lot of desire and determination to not lose the game.
Yes, they are in the zone defensively.
I never thought Tucker could defend Durant that way. They even discuss how they move while the game is on, which is funny. Sportsmanship is intact and I hope they can continue this kind of game without the need to fight with their fists or headbutts.
You could not see the effect of what Tucker did on the stat sheet but yet if he wasn't there Bucks might have already fallen in Game 4.
What did the Nets lack to lose the game? Joe Harris. MIA with outside shots.
1984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Story of Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto on: June 18, 2021, 04:59:32 AM
Dude, that's a good story. Perhaps we could make a film out of it.
"The Real Faketoshi" How about that? You like the title?

With just how you input words in your sentences, I would not believe you are Satoshi. I kept on reading back all his posts and his English writing skills are good.
Not like yours or even mine.
If you need money just ask honestly and not making such claims.
How could you miss your own account passwords, private keys, or whatever you forgot? You are freaking Satoshi Nakamoto and you could find ways to open it.
Try brute-forcing it.  Grin
1985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 17, 2021, 02:38:26 PM
Those odds will modify after next games because 76ers will beat Hawks in 7 games.

For me , this season of NBA play-offs is barely watchable because of the injuries of the players and remember when LeBron said to NBA that this type of schedule will affect a lot of great players and will create lots of injuries. Here we are now, with most important players in NBA this season have been injured and what is even more sadly is that some of the players will miss the chance to bring their team to a final or even help them win it...

So yea , for me the favorite cannot be pronounce yet as all of them have their chance. What is next ? Trae young to get injured ? KD ? Who we gonna watch then ?
He actually said it again.

They all didn’t wanna listen to me about the start of the season. I knew exactly what would happen. I only wanted to protect the well being of the players which ultimately is the PRODUCT & BENEFIT of OUR GAME! These injuries isn’t just “PART OF THE GAME”. It’s the lack of PURE
It's true and I don't think NBA didn't expect that.
They might know it would happen but they just ignored it. IIRC, they even went to the extent of posting facts that injuries this year and last year were lower during the bubble. The hell are they talking about.
They want to finish the game with speed so they can start early this year. It became greed or the investors and owners are pushing the commissioner to rush things out so they could recover from all the losses last season.
1986  Economy / Economics / Re: Own a house or rent one? Quick survey! on: June 17, 2021, 01:56:05 PM
$400 a month, $100 on the mortgage then bills, food, etc.
I once experienced renting and the problem is, it's not yours. There will always be a scary part where the owner may have some reasons to take you out.
A family member wants it, a friend or just someone more important than you. I don't like that to happen especially when you have kids and got a lot of stuff to carry to a new house.

When you have your own house, you get old you still have a roof to settle and the kids can buy their own once they are old enough.
Security. You can do anything with your own house while with rent, you will need the permission of the owner.
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What features should a good altcoin project have? on: June 17, 2021, 08:38:43 AM
I don't know why but what always comes to my mind when asked by these questions are old school coins.
I guess it was tattooed in my mind and I can never erase it anymore.

I would always suggest Bitcoin first, then Ethereum. Top coins always tend to be profitable even in just a short time.
Look at Bitcoin, if you bought 1 BTC weeks ago then you are already at $4000 profit.
New altcoins, new projects, and new risks have no telling how it will end up even with DYOR. I prefer looking at people behind it and be sure they are what they say they are.
1988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 17, 2021, 06:34:14 AM
Now that's what you call unexpected especially for the Clippers team stepping up with Kawhi out of the game.
A big win for them and so does the Hawks coming back from an enormous deficit.

Bogdanovic and Clarkson were hot for the Jazz but damn, PG13 can melt all that heat they are producing.
What's their next step? Royce Oneal cannot handle him. Gobert is also a problem being attached to the rim and doesn't want to go up and defend.
I wish Coach Snyder reacted better on that small lineup input of the Clippers. Take Gobert out and trust the bench.
1989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is gambling taxed? on: June 16, 2021, 03:49:05 PM
It's kind of a deep discussion when it comes to taxation.
Of course, every government will put a tax on everything even with just 50 grams of salt in the grocery. They won't let a big business like a casino to get away from it. That's a large amount of money they will be missing.

When it comes to an online gambling site, I believe they are taxed on what country their site is based at.
Like for example, Sportsbet.io.
Quote
Sportsbet.io is owned and operated by mBet Solutions NV (Schout Bij Nacht Doormanweg 40, P.O. Box 4745, Curaçao). It is licensed and regulated by the Government of Curaçao under the gaming license 1668/JAZ. Some payment methods are handled by its wholly owned subsidiary, mProcessing Solutions Ltd, Cyprus (Menandrou 4, 1066, Nicosia, Cyprus).
https://sportsbet.io/sports
I won't worry about how the gamblers are taxed. Maybe with every bet, the tax is included in it or at withdrawal fees.
1990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 16, 2021, 01:11:44 PM
Bucks blew away their only golden opportunity in the series to beat the Nets, now they have to win 2 games in order to beat the Nets in the series and that would be tough because once Irving is fully recovered, they will have to face the big 3 of the Nets.

Their defense on Durant was not carefully planned, they should double him and put somebody on him as he was the only one who is consistently helping the team to win, yes Green was there but if they can stop Durant, Bucks would have won that game.
They forgot what they did in the first half. They had the best chemistry at that time but not until the 2nd half.
I guess the showers made them cold with each other.  Grin

Golden opportunity. Yes, you could put it that way. Harden was still looking for his rhythm and Kyrie was out.
If they didn't mess around and made every possession as important as possible then it could've been a win for them.
I was waiting for Middleton to answer at every field goal Durant makes, but there's no answer. KD made sure his rhythm won't be stopped with the eye for W.
1991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some long term projects for holding? on: June 16, 2021, 08:14:52 AM
You would always want BTC as your main investment even if for just 6 months.
There's always a possibility that it would end up being pumped at that span of time.
Ethereum is always next to my list then, BNB or binance coin.

I would not recommend meme coins for long-term holding. You will just end up losing the value of it or just ROI which would suck since you wasted time waiting and checking every once in a while. You could try NFT coins that promise a good project but I don't know much of them yet.
1992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does on-line compete with the VIP experience on: June 16, 2021, 06:28:43 AM
All they could do now is give bonuses.
It's not the same experience as physical casinos but it's still perks. One wish that I want is the availability of other spreads to VIPs only.
One example is they put +5 +6 +7 to spreads of sports gambling, that's the limit. What if there will be more options for VIPs?
In that way, it may also look appealing to gamblers to grab the VIP program giving them a wide selection of bets.
No one is forcing them, it's a good promotion only.
1993  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money the root of all evil as the poor to thinks? on: June 16, 2021, 04:07:29 AM
I prefer the question of, what is the root of happiness.
You're rich, you have a large sum of money and big businesses but they all need to be maintained for you to avoid getting broke and eat canned goods again.
Doing all that, can you still make yourself happy while you are too busy making more money? I don't think so.
But it doesn't mean the poor don't have problems but they can be happy with little things unlike the rich.
I always thought there should be a balance for everything but it can't be done. Greed will always be above all. Next to that is selfishness.

Money ain't really the root of evil, it's the usage that makes it look wrong. It was made for our life to be easier when trading goods and I think we should remember that definition.
1994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 World’s Strongest Man on: June 15, 2021, 02:29:04 PM
I wish they could add it with online betting.
I am not a huge fan but I watched some of the events.

Eddie Hall was one of the famous personalities from 2012 until he reached success in 2017. Sadly, he didn't defend his title in 2018 but he did participate in BSM and won it. There must be some way to gain fans and viewers for this competition, especially in this pandemic.
The PR trashtalk didn't work either.
Eddie Hall to Thor 2018:
Quote
He won because there was no one else there to take it. His title is not as well earned as my title, that’s how I feel.
Using social media could be helpful.
1995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 15, 2021, 01:29:16 PM
It's about the defense, that's something the Jazz has to improve, on the 2 losses of the Clippers on the road, that was because they have limited the production of PG, but PG has also adjusted now and has been providing some good points for the team, that's something they need to figure out back home, if they can't then Clippers might win the next 2 games.
It's true. If Royce will be defending Kawhi, who can match PG13?
Bojan and Joe Ingles seem to have a hard time doing that but they don't have many options either than those two.
Whenever a switch happens, this is where their defense breaks down.

Now regarding their offensive attack. Pick and roll is gone. I don't even see Gobert making any points anymore. He is the key for the Jazz to be back on top of their series. I even bet for him to at least make 20 total points and rebounds but I am disappointed.
He made 11 points and 8 rebounds for 32 minutes. Perhaps the Jazz should just go small and rely on transition plays.

And don't forget why you are there for. Profits.
Falling in love with coins that keeps on rising that looks like it has no end could also be a risk.
I have made that kind of error because of sweet words from following their telegram group.
I didn't realize I was already holding the coin for a long time and forgot that I should be selling and buying it.
Most of the errors come from that case, and I think staying away from it could also help to keep the plan in a straight path.
1998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a bad time for altcoins? on: June 14, 2021, 10:46:52 AM
Sad to say it's because they want a faster way to profit with high-risk meme coins. It's the truth that is difficult to accept.
But don't worry, it's also the faster way to be rekt. After that, they will be choosing the better one.

There are so many developers out there that had put their time and effort working on a special project but yet they are not getting much attention.
I just hope it's not the end of the line for them yet before they will be seen.
Most of the time they will just give it up because they cannot obtain the right amount of funds to continue.
1999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 14, 2021, 07:39:14 AM
That hurt me a lot as a Nuggets fan. Flagrant 2 is just too much for a game 4 in the semis.
Inside NBA Shaq said: "All that flopping, stop it." I agree that there's a flop to sell the flagrant foul and the referees took the bait.
I think the Suns could win the championship this year thanks to their acting skills brought to them by no other than CP3.
They almost caught up with the lead at the last remaining minutes and that's without Jokic.

Anyway, congratulations to the Suns fans here.
2000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What your 2021 price prediction for shib token? on: June 13, 2021, 09:36:44 AM
From 0.000006 to $0.01? Hmm, I think this could be an impossible height to reach.
It ain't like Dogecoin and I don't mean about the project behind it. Something about being the first one to arrive.
"If" I am an investor with this kind of memecoins I would rather stay with the roots.
Making a big pump is not that easy to happen, it needs a large number of investors buying billions of this coin. I would not count for that to happen anytime soon.
