Proof, a Korean financial technology company run by American and European expats, has launched property investment opportunities whereby users can buy small stakes of ownership for less than $3.

While $3 won’t buy much of a property, Proof registers ownership records on thousands of computers via blockchain technology, giving buyers “proof” of ownership backed by legal agreements and property liens to protect investments.

Blockchain technology is revolutionizing the banking industry, from decentralised, digital currencies like Bitcoin to new, cryptographically secure investment platforms like Proof.

Most market players believe these new rules will cause a significant boost to the Japanese economy as new regulations will make it easier for their customers to know what is legal, and what is not.

From the Biggest Collapse to the Biggest Triumph

Everybody knows Japan entered the cryptocurrency market with the biggest fail in the History of Bitcoin. There was hardly a news outlet that didn’t cover the high-profile collapse of Mt. Gox in 2014, which caused many governments to treat Bitcoin as highly suspicious. Such an epic fail would scare anyone off.

Bitcoin exchanges, miners, and cryptocurrency-payment processors, operating in the United States are required to comply with federal Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws.

That means a cryptocurrency user can be prosecuted for violating a number of federal laws. Anybody who converts BTC to USD and sends the money to or from the United States must comply with all AML laws and regulations.
Such laws and regulations are imposed by the U.S. Treasury Department affiliate, FinCEN. The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network is in charge of enforcing the policies and regulations, which serve as a security measure for conducting any financial activity within the U.S. borders.

Roger Ver accepts a challenge. A Reddit user suggested to exchange 100,000 Bitcoin Unlimited tokens for bitcoins at one-to-one rate. The community attention was attracted with the suggested price, which differs from the market price more than twice. Roger Ver, one of the most successful bitcoin investors, in one of his recent posts at BitcoinTalk expressed his interest in this deal and noted again that Bitcoin Unlimited tokens are underestimated and soon to be equal in price to bitcoin.

Crypto community to chose which charity Coinidol.com sends $1,000 of scammers’ money.

Coinidol is asking the crypto community to suggest which charity organization should get the donation of $1,000 in Bitcoin. Yesterday, March 20th, the public trial of Jawad Yaqub was closed and community has decided to send the scammers’ money to charity. Now, we need to define the recipient organization of this transaction.

CoinIdol will search for the right non-profit organisation to send these funds to. That's not an easy task, because there are a lot of non-transparent organisations, that claim they are doing charity. That's why we ask community activists and members of the jury, who have voted before to vote for the right organisation to get the money.
