19821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: February 17, 2017, 06:00:49 AM
i am use multiple wallet and i don't like to store all of my bitcoin in one or more exchanges because if the exchanges get hacked or have maintenance, we can not use our bitcoin to another purpose. i prefer to store my bitcoin in more than two wallet and spread my bitcoin with each of wallet, never use only one wallet to avoid bad thing that will happen.
19822  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining Viable in 2017? on: February 17, 2017, 05:55:36 AM
Genesis Mining is legit AFAIK, but the ROI is.... ?

If you start mining it looks like there is a ROI in about a year, but due to difficulty changes it slowly going down. When the BTC/USD rate is dropping it vanishes even faster, but even with a BTC/USD rate slowly growing it has a very long time for ROI - if you reach ROI at all.

On the other hand, if you reach ROI after that all earning is profit. (Yes, a big if)

i think genesis mining is still legit, but the ROI need almost a year before you can get your investment back. the only problem with cloud mining is the long time for ROI and the chance to get scam. but if you can find the legit site, i think it still profitable.

its good idea to invest in every month to buy GHS but how long you want to do this? i agree with you that you said you want to split your btc because if somehow the bad thing is happen, you still have your btc in your wallet.

before you make decision, i hope you can thinking about the longest ROI you can get with genesis mining, but that site is still legit.
19823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Earn upto 0.001 BTC per day on: February 16, 2017, 02:51:27 AM
i don't think that we can get up to 10 H with our pc without having video card inside, because for mining monero, i think its better we use video card than we only use our computer. but what i will do, i am downloading the software from minergate sites, place it into my vps, and let the software is runs for me and i only login into the sites and see the balance is always increase. there is many coins that available with the software and we select which coins is suit for our computer.

but all in all, this opportunity is really interesting and i think i should buy video card first so i can mining cryptonote or another algorithm and see the process in my computer.
19824  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: February 16, 2017, 02:46:41 AM
emotion control may need some physiological approach which may be possible with gambling.
Managing emotions must need many practices maybe gambling will bring such opportunities to drill our emotions to get practices of dealing with it. Only practice will make us perfect but those practices may come from any resources. I agree with this idea of getting drills from gambling so that we can control our emotions while trading.

Yes, even you are going to do some physiological approach, you really need to practice that on a daily basis. And that's what I did for the past months of my trading.

When I came to the point of wants to loose my emotion because I see that I've losing profit, I'm just making my mind calm.

Through it I'm able to manage my emotion.

its difficult to practice on a daily basis because not all people can have courage to do this and when they see that they have opportunity to win, i don't think that they can control their emotions. but i am agree that we should practice in everyday so we can control and manage our emotions in gambling games and i hope i can do it too like other gamblers.
19825  Economy / Gambling / Re: virtual horse raceing interest ? on: February 16, 2017, 02:43:56 AM
i think horse race is more complex than the other sports betting because we need to know all about the horse, the team, how good the horse in a match and many more. but i think it sounds interesting to see there is any gambling site that have horse race that available to place a bets and i think maybe many people will be interested too and this could be a way to attracted more customer to make a bets.
19826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is buying ICO always return the same amount of altcoin the investor invested? on: February 16, 2017, 02:40:22 AM
I have invested into many ICOs after doing some research.

It is a bit risky, but overall i am up.

The bounty hunters are everywhere ( not just Crypto) i have found that they don't really cause issues with the market once ICO is closed.

Do some research, buy some ICO coins, keep an eye on them and make sure you sell when you planned. hoping they go up more may cost you more than what you might of made.

i am agree that investing in many ICO is risky because we don't know what will happen after the ICO is finished and we only hope that the ICO is success and we can make decent of profit. i think, if i want to investing in ICO, i need to read all information about the ICO and doing research like what you do, trying to investing with small amount while i can continue to follow the journey and see if there is any good news from the ICO and the dev, maybe i can make other investing.
19827  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: February 16, 2017, 02:37:07 AM
i think the impact is not for short term but its always in long term, drinking alcohol is not good for our health because soon or later, our health will be drop and if we continue to drinking alcohol too much in a day, then our health will be get sick. drinking alcohol is like consume drugs. we are fine for one or two years, but imagine if we still consume for more than five years or more, then i think we can get a ticket to meet the angel of death.
19828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did you started to gamble? What was your beginning like? on: February 16, 2017, 02:32:04 AM
The earliest time I can remember gambling was in grade 6 or 7. I must have been around fourteen or fifteen years old. In school we would pitch coins - nickels, dimes, quarters - at a wall. Whoever's coin was closest to the wall won all the coins on that round. I remember we would mostly play in the school library because it had flat carpet, the best surface for pitching coins. Ahhh... the good old days.

its too young to started gamble and i think now you are the master of gambling. its been fun to remember when we are started our first gamble and i think all of us have different way to start gamble.

my first gamble is when i am in high school, me and my friends have sit in cafe, playing some words and trying to guess what letter that will be out and of course we use money but its only small amount. sometimes we make a bet about who can get the most beautiful girls in our class to go to cafe or watching movie in theater and the winner will get some drinks or food.

but in gambling online, i think i started with gamble sites after few months i know bitcoin and i think i don't remember what is the sites that i am played.
19829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New casino vs old and trusted one on: February 16, 2017, 02:21:44 AM
We know many quite old and trusted casinos like Primedice, Safedice, Crypto-games etc. And yet I see there are many new casinos appearing like Bonanza or BtcDragon. Do new ones have a chance of becoming popular nowadays? And what can bring populatiry to a new casino? I think new casinos attract investors, because there is a low bankroll there which strengthens such casinos. What else can help? Do you think a signature campaign makes big difference, for example?
The gamblers do not matter if the casino is new or old, what is important for me is to be comfortable with the casino, I think there are some factors which make difference like fast deposit/withdraw, nice and attractive look, easy to use dashboard, fast server, and fast support.

i think for new casino, they have a chance to become popular since there is many new gambler that searching a good place to playing gambling and they can trying with the ones. if the new casino can attracting people to come and play in their sites, then new casino will be increase the popularity but its also need time to see the increasing of the member and i think new casino need to give the best service for the member.
19830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 16, 2017, 02:18:12 AM
I am rich from gambling - only I am on the bookmakers side (via affiliating), seems easier that way, unfortunately. Betting yourself is very fun, but money is even more fun.

i think you are make much of money from gambling because its only few people that can be rich from gambling and they must have a good luck in gambling games. i am not yet trying to use affiliating to collect the money from their deposit but i think its a good idea to spread our affiliate links so other people can join with our referral and we can see how much they are willing to deposit. if they make big deposit then we can get payed with much of money too.
19831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: February 16, 2017, 02:15:42 AM
I'm usually stop betting if I reach 10% profit from initial deposit so my answer is not !
I'm ever experience if I keep betting , I'm loss more than I can afford

It's good that you are stopping when you got 10% already. But with what I do is I keep on gambling with my profit and instead of using my initial deposit. I prefer to use the winning I got instead because it seems to make me more comfortable to use my profit rather than using my deposit and when I lose, its okay.
If you have a large balance, that is enough for you. 10. Pretty much be safe than sorry right? It's not safe to gamble large amounts but the rewards are enormous. Go for the double the bankroll and you can probably lose when you reached that. When I double my bankroll, i withdraw my initial deposit then play with what I earned and be happy.

everything is fine if we have big balance in gambling and we can place our bets in any amount that we want. but i think if we are win the games, we don't have to use the profit to continue playing gambling, we can use the same bet like before and we can keep the profit in our wallet or transferred it into other wallet. i think its more safe to play with the same bet before, because we can see the balance is growing but we should ready if in next games, we are getting loss.
19832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: has any casino ever been hacked losing a lot of money? on: February 16, 2017, 02:08:39 AM
maybe there is casino that have been hacked but we don't know about the truth because so far i am playing gambling in several of gambling sites, i don't hear any casino gets hacked. but i don't know if hacking is the other reason for casino to get closed and shutdown their business and take the members money. i only know that exchanges is being hacked but they still continue their business and they upgrade their security to keep the sites still online.
19833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: February 16, 2017, 02:02:31 AM
Of course i'm not, if i would be then probably i wouldn't gamble. Many people feel shame not for gambling, but for losing, and probably for being addicted to gambling. I don't think it is very bad to gamble, it is all right unless you have to steal or lie just to get money to gamble, or of course if you gamble loads of money, then gamblers should feel shame

That's true. Losing is what's really shameful part of gambling, specially if you already boasted that you are a sure winner and that you keep on winning, and that gambling is your milking cow already, and it turns out that it is not.

Being a gambler is not that shameful, it is only shameful when you are already out of bounds, when all that you've mention is already been done, that's shameful to be like that.

Why would i have to be shameful for being a gambler .I do not have a problem gambling so i do not have any problem with it.I would feel guilty after having every masturbation  Cheesy but i do not give a damn nor do i feel ashamed if i am gambling.
[/quot

Certainly. When you are getting into problems already, that's shameful.

I don't think that losing is the shameful part in gambling. What's shameful is that you failing to control on your emotions and being addicted to gambling. If you also are affecting your relationships with others and asking them for money, then that's the time to feel ashamed. It's not healthy for you and your family.

maybe if we are losing is not like shameful but its like regret for our losing. being shameful in our self is good because we still have our emotions to not getting addicting person and if we trying to control ourself, then i am sure that soon or later, we are feeling shameful when we are playing gambling in future. but its not guarantee to us to getting shameful if we don't limit ourself when we are playing gambling.
19834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: February 16, 2017, 01:51:42 AM
We associate gambling as something that you're playing cards, dice, roulette, and you'll have to bet your money to do so. But by definition, yes, gambling means taking a risk. When you're trading, you're basically gambling your money.

Only difference is the fact that when you're doing the typical gambling game, you're risking your whole money and when you lose, all of them will be lost. In trading, you can prevent having more losses by selling your coins when the price is starting to decrease. You can't lose 100% of your money in trading unless it goes from a really high price to 1 satoshi per coin.
In a way  you are correct since everything is a gamble but the difference is that in gambling you know your  EV is negative, you are going to lose money, but in trading, your EV can be either positive or negative, if you are any good then your EV will most likely be positive, and you could make your living out of it.

so i think we should maintain our effort to be positive in gambling and trading because if we only doing trading or gambling without having a
good effort then its the same like we are going to risk our money and we can not make profit as we want.

i think its difficult to keep our effort to stay normal and we can control our emotion so we dont get stuck in gambling or trading so there is a different between gambling and trading for us and we can easily separate it when we do each of activity.
19835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: February 16, 2017, 01:47:22 AM
If it's done right, and the person is lucky -most important- and with decent skills for sport betting it can be profitable, not on long term but at least there is a possibility of making positive return from it rather than just fun.

Don't know about Dice though, even though the house edge is lower than say Texas H rake and sportbetting, the fact that no skills is involved at all takes away that part completely and it's just about getting lucky IMO.

All of it are gambling. There is no real profit in it in the long term. Winning few times is good enough to think about quitting or trying new one. If we focus too much on one game, obsession comes next and losing starts too.

With that said, betting only few times could be profitable, depending on luck. But continuously betting for hours could make you great loss in money and time.  Smiley

its true and we should knew it after we played many times, there is no chances for us to make profit in everytime we playing gambling. making profitable activity in gambling maybe can work if we are pro gambler and we mastered the games but we need to increase our skills in the games so we can have much of profit in gambling games too.

i think for doing sports betting can make us to get profitable activity because we don't just win the money but our knowledge in each team will be increase and its useful for us to know what we should do in other match.
19836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose casino to play? on: February 16, 2017, 01:43:15 AM
Hi guys!
Everyone in Oshi including myself is very curious how do you choose the casino to play in?
What's the most important to you? Bonuses? Or something else?
For me personally it's the website's design and the number of games offered.

i am choosing the casino is by reading the most recommended on here but sometimes i am choose the new casino because i want to know what its look like to playing in the new one. i think maybe bonuses is a good for me and with the bonus for new member, i think we can start to playing the games. beside bonuses, i think faucet is an option to get free money in gambling sites and i think all of gambling sites that i played have faucet games. the design is another option, if the site got heavy loading to open homepage, i think i don't like it because it needs more time to load the homepage.
19837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: February 15, 2017, 01:08:22 PM
i am still playing with dice games since dice games is easy games for me to play and i don't have to thinking too much or too serious. the other games that i can play is slots and i think slots is easy too like dice. as i only want to spend my free time, i don't have any problem if in one games i only get loss and can not continue to play because the money is emptied.
19838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of the money on: February 15, 2017, 01:04:11 PM
Most of my earnings are from dice. The bad thing is that most of my losses are from dice as well. It's just so easy to play but the odds are on the side of the house of course.

mostly we get the money from the dice game, but most also lose money on the dice game. Dice games are games of chance, games tempt fate. Place a bet many times in a long time. We did a couple of wins when lucky, but the number of the defeat was too much, and sometimes even more than the number of victories.

its good if we have earning from dice games but we can not always get the money from the games, sometimes we can get loss and we don't know how much we have loss. we can have the most of the money from many different games, but we need to calculate how much we can get from one games. i think the most of the money that i can get is from dice too but i think what i am get is not big like other gamblers so until now i am not yet withdraw the money.
19839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: February 15, 2017, 01:01:29 PM
All of the interest in gambling is the fun and entertainment involve in gambling that is why people do not leave to gamble even in the time when they continue to lose their money. They mostly put smaller amount of money in gambling in order to continue their gambling for getting the fun.
Hey, trust me no one ever gambles for fun !
It is just a hype created by owners or some investors that gambling is a fun activity, basically offline or casinos gambling is a fun activity but really tell me whats the fun in clicking roll 100 times and tiring your eyes ?

The truth is that we all (even me yeah) gamble for money and we chase money.

Of course all people who gamble are expecting to get money, but what I know about "gamble for fun" here means that gamblers does noy really care about the result whether win or lose. When you gamble but you cant afford to lose then it doesn't count to "gamble for fun".

yes its true and its happen with me, i don't care if i can win much of money or not, as long as i can enjoy with the games, i am fine with the results. maybe this is my reason why i am still gambling until now. i know its a bad habit for me and maybe in someday, i will really stop and quit from gambling online and never playing gambling again.
19840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SURVEY on the popularity of these ways to gamble. on: February 15, 2017, 12:57:33 PM
i give my vote in dice games and slots games since i am play that games in many times and i am agree that gambling is one of many reason that makes bitcoin getting popular for many people. and i think that dice games is the most popular games that many people is played and maybe its because the games is simple and easy to play so they only just play, push the button and get reward or loss the money.
