21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Golem vs iExec RLC on: June 06, 2017, 03:43:19 PM

Maybe it's better to read each white paper (Golem and Iex.ec) yourself.

Every post you will read here can be motived by the writer interest.

For serious project, you'll find full team ID too, and you can google them.

Currently, it's difficult to resist from BTC and ETH uptrend for traders, all funds will go there for a moment.

But how much was the bounty?
Was it 0.5% of the crowdsale? How many Tokens is that ...300000?   Huh

there has been a lot more selling than that.

I think the volume can be made by daytraders, they buy at 0.4 and sell at 0.5 (signature bounty dump help to keep price under pressure)

They can make lots of money this way, RLC was in the same range last few weeks.

If big investors, or developers drop their coins, the fall would be more deeper.

It's just an opinion, I'm not at all a trader.

It looks like the RLC token gets a bearish trend. But i can say if the hodlers are trying to take more btc and invest on another promising project with a lot of hype. Just like NEM RIPPLE and ethereum still being the main actors.
This dump just a usual thing for me. I believe the price will recover again as soon as possible. The dev still not update his development result.
I bet if that can be a good chance to make another hype for RLC token. So, just the matter of time for me.

I agree. I don't know if developers will update developments results often like the "hype projects", but roadmap is very clear. Whales deal earlier than the crowd, wait v1 in november maybe too late to buy at good price.

there is a new development project? I guess sales will continue for a while. will rise with new news.

Everything is on the roadmap. Next step will be iEx.ec v1 on november, presentation in devcon3.

Signature bounty sells their RLC, whales pressures the price down to buy it cheaper.

When weak hands will gone, with project progression, price will be very interesting for serious investors.

Anyone know why they decided not to use an Escrow?
Did the team sell all their cryptos for fiat or are they keeping the cryptos and spending it monthly?

All details are on iEx.ec blog.

iExec publicize code on GitHub only when they think that it’s ready for being used by developers. Schedule for the v1 is 6 months after the end of the crowdsale.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Differences between Golem (GNT) and iEx.ec (RLC) on: May 19, 2017, 11:43:34 PM
The 2 projects first goal (6 months after the end of the crowdsale):

"Brass Golem" proof-of-concept, in alpha testing now, is focused on rendering in Blender and LuxRender, it will be useful to CGI artists.

"iEx.ec v1" will allow DApps to launch off-chain computations and retrieve the results. Part of the solution to ETH's gas price problem (http://www.coindesk.com/ethereums-double-edged-sword-will-rising-price-hurt-users/)
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Differences between Golem (GNT) and iEx.ec (RLC) on: May 19, 2017, 05:58:44 PM

I think the difference is that iEx.ec is buying their own servers, while Golem is using users' computers.

Both for primarily doing computational work, I'm guessing from a quick gloss of their sites.

Is that right?

iEx.ec don't buy their own servers. As I said, iExec's goal is to build a distributed network where anyone can monetize their computing resources and servers.

Hi,

Basically, Golem's goal is to build an accessible-to-everyone, distributed, supercomputer.

iExec's goal is to build a distributed network where anyone can monetize their computing resources and servers.
