And i dont wait for the moon.

You get a very long rod and pierce the earth from there you are, if you dont watch news that a mysterious probe was seen emerging from the opposite part of the earth, then the earth is flat.
24  Other / Chinese students / Re: joke about Chinese and English on: October 27, 2017, 09:39:08 PM
Cheesy,,joke is a good food, you can get much happy form it,
i think every people need it.do you think so?O(∩_∩)O~
i will give a example:he friend ask a mental sluggishness of man: brokenhearted?
Man: no, I fell in love.
Friend: that you should be happy?
Man: in love too deep I can't swim, she pushed me up down, oneself ran!
chinese---(朋友问一精神萎靡的男人:失恋了?
男人:没有,我坠入爱河了。
朋友:那你应该高兴啊?
男人:爱河太深我不会游泳,她把我推下来,自己跑了)
do you like it,i waiting for you.

A possible polished English version:

"Hearing a great joke is like being served a fine meal, at times, it can leave you feeling really satisfied. While dining out one night, a friend of mine told me that he had once encountered an unfortunate man of diminished mental capability, commonly referred to in the vernacular as a "bonehead," saying, "You, Sir, appear to be very sad. May I ask you what's the matter?" The man responded, "I'm not sad, just very much in love." My friend retorted, "Then shouldn't you be happy?" The man turned and said, "The problem I fear is that I'm in way too deep." My friend inquired, "So?" The man, appearing to be embarrassed, said, "I can't swim."

..and here's where the translation breaks down. I don't know what you mean by "she pushed me up down, oneself ran!" It doesn't make any sense in English. So I tried to spiff it up for you; even so, the joke is only slightly amusing in English without knowing the rest of the translation.

You actually made a decent attempt at interpreting it.
Thanks

30  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN misconceptions on: October 27, 2017, 09:08:34 PM
I came across several threads on the forums about bitcoin as their source of income, people leaving their day jobs just to focus on campaigns here in the forum.

Why most of the people in the forum sees bitcoin as currency that you need to spend everyday? On my opinion at this point of time for bitcoin it is better to consider it as an asset, an investment that if you keep it there is a big chance that your investment will grow. Think of its future potential, at this time each coin cost $5600+ when maybe about 100 million people who is using it. imagine what will the price be if 1 billion people uses it in the future how much will the price be? And this also applies to alt coins. As much as possible keep you coins and wait for the price to boom.

Some people use money to invest in bitcoin long term, while others short it and use the money to invest in other solid investments for the long term.
31  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: what do you do when your idea is taken ? on: October 27, 2017, 09:04:39 PM
Success of a project is not only related to uniqueness of the idea.
You can innovate much around the same idea. In fact the knowledge that someone is doing what you are doing should challenge you so much that you fine tune your project and get ready to be in the ring.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2X - (Gold Fork) Date on: October 27, 2017, 09:00:05 PM
Gold forked earlier today. 2x is just about to fork on November. Curious about how this will go and I hope that effort won't hurt bitcoin.

There's a few different perspectives on this. The doomsday scenarios of a permanent Bitcoin split because of 2X is becoming less likely. With Coinbase giving it a separate name and ticker symbol (and others likely to follow), the NYA is a lot less of a threat now.

Having said that, there is a new scenario to consider, and one which Bitcoin Cash has already affected: if these forks are seen as legitimate versions of Bitcoin in the public eye -- even if they don't share the ticker -- then we are effectively quadrupling the supply to laymen. In effect, this means that new investors are investing money into BCH or BTG or B2X when months ago, all that money would have gone into Bitcoin. I wonder how much lower the BTC price is as a result of all this dilution of investment.

I dont see the last point harming bitcoin, all we have seen is more money into bitcoin. Bitcoin has pumped much more thanks to these forks.

Check under services section, you might find something you can do.

Two rules,
1. If something promises you to be rich in a day without too much work, run for your life.
2. Refer to number 1.

Good luck
34  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Future Social Media ? on: October 27, 2017, 08:44:24 PM
The future social media is blockchain based. With the many hacks going on in Social media accounts, the future is in security of the media. Either the current ones shall adopt blockchain technology, Or the blockchain shall wipe them out.

I think we already have fairly a good number of projects working on this, e.g Steem
35  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to be positive on: October 27, 2017, 08:40:10 PM
When times are really tough, always ask yourself this one question, "In Five years, will this really matter?"
36  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: October 27, 2017, 08:34:57 PM
I believe in the existence of a super natural being(s). Personally i have been brought up in a liberal family and i have made my personal pursuits.

But there are many real things in my own life that cant be explained by mere science. I believe in the existence of supernatural beings who oversee some parts of our lives, but i dont think any religion is accurate in the allegations they make. I agree that many parts of the religious literature feel like personal feelings and imaginations.

Good post, thank you.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: October 27, 2017, 06:41:17 PM
This is a bit off, i need to know if there shall be a coin also formed after the Segwit 2x hard fork just as we have seen with BCH, and BTG. Thanks.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why most alt coins price is dropping down? on: October 27, 2017, 06:39:15 PM
There is alot of support for bitcoin right now,
I think altcoins will always pump and dump, because this is how this industry works.
One week in Crypto is like 6 months in company stocks.

One should invest in alts they believe in and set an amount of profit margin they need from the trade, say 10 percent. and take it when the opportunity arises.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy again? on: October 27, 2017, 06:33:33 PM
People speculate alot about altcoin death and rise of new ones, later dominance of the REAL projects and death of everything else. This could have come earlier than anticipated. There are coins now that may never regain their btc worth since ICO.
