What makes your pool the best pool?
|
|
|
It would be VERY helpful, if you would tell us, which currency you want to mine. Not every pool supports every coin. Without more infos we canīt help you.

Bitcoin is really far better than any alt coins including Ethereum and now that solutions are clear in the sight then it is time to go back to Bitcoin as it is much better at any aspects. Bitcoins future is far brighter and it is the one that countries prefer.
"better" ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Of course Bitcoin is not better! It has been the first cryptocurrency, thus it has a very high acceptance. XMR ist better, ETH is better and a few more are also better

I am holding a lot xrp and they are just 50% of what I paid for them. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) So, of course, I will hold them until xrp is up again.

As far as I know arenīt there any solo pools - that wouldnīt make sense since pools are always for several workers. You need to install the ethereum daemon on your own computer and mine to your own "pool". Sorry I donīt know exactly how to do it, but if you search google for "ethereum solo mining" you should find plenty guides!

wow Can you still make money from solo mining LTC? I assume you are using asics for mining, right? How many are needed to make some profit? Sorry for hijacking our thread ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) you can't even solo mine LTC if you don't own a private pool because asic are not designed to solo mine unfortunately, so it's useless, i would join a pool with the current difficulty, you can earn more in a pool an fee is very low anyway, i'm guessing he is talking about the enw L3 which is very good in profit with 500MH of hashrate Ah, ok. Thank you. Now I understand!

Donīt forget that GPUs are most powerful for mining! I doubt that VPS have graphiccards at at all. CPU mining (if it works) would not bring in much ....

I mine for "now" , because if I mine a "shitcoin" for the future, it could happen that it never goes up in price. I have to pay the electricity for my mining rig, so I am somewhat in need of the money! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

you can't mine etheruem anymore with 2gb card not even with 3gb you need 4gb gpu to mine etheruem now, it's better if you tryHUS or musiccoin, they have a lower nethash
My 3GB cards are still working well for ETH mining 2GB are too small to load the DAG, they wonīt work for ETH

Damn! Thatīs hard! I am sorry for you.

The leading coins are already far up, that I donīt expect huge % more. The satoshi range coins might not exist in 2018 anymore. Thus I would chose 3 mid price , mid volume coins, since they are probably making more than 50% + ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Same here. "confirmed but not on balance" Also it seems they are "shaving the hashrate" sometimes. Especially if the Eth price is high. Not sure I can trust them anymore.

Exactly ^^
If you're running into issues running more than 4, you need to ensure Windows is installed in UEFI mode. After Windows is installed in EUFI mode find a setting in your bios called 'Above 4G Encoding' and change it to enabled. If you try that without UEFI Windows, Windows will not boot.
Thanks for clearing this up. Itīs very helpful to me!

There are here some programs for mining ETC or EXP o UBQ?
Thanks
ETC or EXP mining is exactly the same like ETH mining (Algo: Dagger-Hashimoto). Just switch to a pool which supports the currency you want to mine!
