Thank you for this. Im starting a GPU mining farm, just because i got really cheap power. I have nearly 50kw available for only 0.037 cents a kw/h. First 10kw are in with 70x RX5700 gpus
Some pointers if you're just starting out. . For the cheapest CPU like G4400, 8 GPUs per system is fine and anything above it will start to cause issues. . Go with a Linux distro & try to automate most of the stuff. Windows will definitely take a lot of time to maintain it. . Make sure to clean your rigs from time to time. Dust is the major enemy for card damages compared to anything out there. . Use Ethernet cables for the internet rather than WiFi as the latency will be less. . If you're BIOS modding and the card does not have dual bios switch. Backup BIOS for each and every card before modding it.

It'll be easier for me to stop when I'm winning compared to when I'm losing. It's true that the human tendency will make me keep playing more if there are frequent wins but controlling myself and stopping after making good gains is going to a positive for me. Losing, on the other hand, will make it a bit difficult to control as I would be constantly trying to just get my losses back by winning a bit until I am at a point where I don't want to lose anymore or take any chances.

how to mine solo etc on this miner??? what to register in a batch file?
Build your own private pool and use your private pool stratum URL. That is one way to solo mine or use a pool which supports solo mining. I don't know if you know this or not, solo mining ETC may not yield any block rewards for a very long time if you are working with just a handful of rigs.

The process & outcome both are important. The proportion of it depends on the scenario of the play. Honestly, If I am betting large & I'm expecting to make some huge wins, then the outcome will be particularly important to me at the time but for enjoying with friends in a card game with very low stakes is where the process of it is important.

No, it wouldn't be sufficient for 2x RTX 2070. Can you post the details of the PSU that you have received with the set here? I wouldn't recommend 600W & lower than Gold rated for 24 7 mining. Get a Corsair RM series PSU - 1000W to be on the safe side.
Also, disable SLI when mining because it will not be beneficial for mining and create issues per se.

Are you gambling everyday? twice a week? once in a never again?
if you gamble everyday, can you stop whenever you want or are you fully addicted?
would love to hear more on your habits here on the forum.
In Physical casinos, rarely. Twice or thrice in a year. In online casinos like crypto websites, quite frequently but limited to small amounts that I can afford to lose. I only do at times for the fun of it and never to make some serious money out of it.

Hello, I'm new to mining and wanted to start mining ethereum . Does anyone have advice? I' am using one rx 570 AMD graphic card to start off. The platform I'm using is phoenix mining/ethermining.org
Can anyone help me in why this card is putting out 10.543 MH/s but it's capable of reaching 20.000 MH/s. In order to reach that amount of MH/s what is one suppose to do?
Any information would be great!
Thanks for reading!
I hope you're using latest version of the AMD Graphics driver. In that, Go to Radeon Settings and change the workload to Compute mode. ( https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh-024) This will improve the hash rate significantly. Then, find out the memory vendor of the card using GPU-z software. According to that, find a mining bios and flash it to improve the hash rate further. Don't forget to backup your original bios before performing this step.

There are plenty of miners available for mining Ethash based coins such as Claymore, Phoneix Miner and so on. I have personally used Claymore most of my time and it is my preferable miner for mining Ethereum but at the end, it boils down to your requirement and choice.

I can see in whattomine.com, there showing 110% profit in 7 days. what machine will be better for EthereumClassic(ETC) ?
There are already ASICs manufactured for Ethash algorithms. So, setting up a GPU rig even if it costs very less in second-hand price might not be beneficial at all because of electricity prices. So, If you feel like mining. Don't. Purchase the coins instead. Not to mention that you'll have to troubleshoot it whenever you face an issue.

Definitely count me in if there is availability. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I have two VEGA-64 cards that can 't work on such high settings. Settings of these cards: GPU 1032 Mhz 905 mV. Memory: 1020 Mhz, 905 mV. Consumes 170W GPU power. 0,97 g/s
Use AMD Mem Tweaker to apply weak settings on Vega Cards. That should provide a bit boost to the hash rate. Also, undervolt the core more as undervolting memory doesn't do anything.

I don't think its wise to talk about big gains as it will definitely bring complications. I think it's better to keep it with yourself and share it only with the people you can trust. If everyone knows then people will have expectations from you which may not be a good thing.

Even though money has very much importance in life as it gets us things. I'll surely choose family over anything. Gambling may be uncertain and full of risks but family is for certain and worth the risk. So, I'll surely go with a simple life with my family.

There are many timelines circulating about ETH 2.0 and we can't be certain when it's going to make a transition completely. I'm sure that it's going to be in phases and it's not going to happen until and unless they have tested the phase entirely but a release of 2022 should be feasible as they working on it for years.

I have to receive a payment from client and he has Litecoin thats y i am looking for it. There are few good altcoins also and I dont think Litecoin is a bad option
Yes, then Exodus wallet will suffice. I'll recommend using a virtual machine if you want to go with a software wallet. Also Exodus support various top altcoins so you will have to install just one wallet. ETH is also a really good alternative then LTC .

~snip~
Use power play table to modify registry file, overdriveNtool to increase memory clock, followed by underclock and undervolt of core clock, then use AMDMemTweaker to apply weak settings for Vega 64 and run the miner. That should give you the best possible hash rate for it.
