21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: November 01, 2017, 08:58:56 AM
Please dump more! Cheesy I see that people do not have brain to do basic calculations about that asset contract shit. I thought that it's worthless before they said to remove it. But my motivation was exactly that people will freeze their mcos. So I see only positive thing here!!!

Here is some math guys!

Total: 31,587,682 tokens

For example, in 1 year time they will reach 500,000 customers. Every customer on average spends like 20'000 usd per year or less. Merchants pay 3% for all parties involved in transaction. So it's $600 usd paid by merchants from $20k spent by 1 customer.

Monaco gets 1.5% from these $600 = $9 !!!

So in BEST case scenario, they will have $4,500,000 in fees in 1 year. Asset contract promised 1% from this sum to be held.

In result we have only $45,000, fucking $45k per 1 year split by 31,587,682 tokens. How this fucking can drive price of mco up?Huh?  You are dumb people or what, or just want manipulate market and use this as excuse!!!!?Huh

Total price of mco by earnings per year held in asset contract: 0.00142460596 USD

How the fuck this can drive price?HuhHuhHuh Monaco team knows what they are doing. HOLD! For those who do not get what I wrote, then leave, this is not for you kids.

P.S. I didn't counted consumers who stop using services. This would bring asset contract 1% even lower.

Hey Trumpc2016, thanks for the insight. Having doubts on the significance of the asset contract conferring real value to the project is absolutely legitimate. I myself was sometimes quite skeptical about the asset contract and its serious mechanism, so I have never conferred a lot of importance to it. However, math may sometimes not be that easy to grasp because it may have a subjective character, even though at first sight math is always taken to be something indisputable. It is not indisputable. It may well be subject to personal evaluations.
Please try just not to be too arrogant. You should only improve the grammar so that your message is more understandable.

PLEASE EVERYBODY HOLD MCO, OR I WILL BUY THEM!
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: October 23, 2017, 06:01:52 AM
How long one needs to wait for the card?

Certainly, Tenx is one of the greatest disappointments in the crypto world this year, along with Bancor and some others.

This depends on whether you want/hold the token or seek to use the card. If the former, you need math classes. If the latter, you need to apply realistic expectations.

If you get around in 'crypto world', you could think of worse disappointments.

Yeah I don't mind waiting, still have some fiat to buy milk...

I don't mind either. But stop buying milk. It's a cancer promoter.

Too everyone selling right now to this FUD ,  you're selling potentially one of the most ambitious projects, and one with the most upside . There's hardly any other project with this kind of potential UPSIDE

Think deep about that, and the implications of XEL as the leading super computer network.  Guess what will happen , the applications and the marketcap.

Come on!
Check this out.

Elastic has no chance.
I did not search sufficiently when I invested. I exit the market though at a loss. I firmly believe Elastic will keep going down.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: October 19, 2017, 08:09:24 AM
Somehow I appreciate the firm's conduct so they can get rid of the pump and dumpers, ready to make a quick bitcoin without any actual interest in the asset they hold. Lots of people here think that Monaco is just a game consisting in waiting for announcements to be made. They want to play. So the MCO people let them play.
Hopefully, most pump and dumpers will give ground so only serious investors will be involved.

There will always be pump and dump , in every crypto's market, not only MCO! All people want to make profit, in any kind of bussiness, not only crypto, so, if the pump and dump dissapears, how do you earn from your investment? Every crypto is a game, every investment is a risk, you may win or you may not! As for serious investors, let's be honest, everyone wants profit, they dont invest just because they are in love with the project itself!

Hi lonesomestranger, I see what you're saying. Of course, every investor wants to profit. The problem is that recently, regarding Monaco, there has been increasing focus on pumping in order to dump. People seem to be obsessed with that. This obsession does not belong to someone who believes in a project.
I think that preannouncements, or annoucements that an announcement will be made, indicate a strategy: getting rid of those who are not "true believers".
Please remember that every company would like to have only "true believers" for the project they are accomplishing.
If you are a true believer, then you know that Monaco can do much more than a small profit.

Well, I'm boned!
Got all my UNO's in Bittrex at present, and just noticed they are deleting the market on Friday.
I figured I'd withdraw all my UNO's back to my client wallet.. but as my account is apparantly unverified they won't let me.
I tried to verify my account and nothing I do will work.. scamming b*stards!

My concern here is that if they delete the market then I will no longer be able to access my UNO wallet in Bittrex.. anyone kow if that might happen? I have had no email from Bittrex to inform me that this is happening, just stumbled accross it by luck.

Coinomi is a multi-coin, multi-asset, hierarchical deterministic wallet. Very user-friendly and secure.
If you install the Android emulator BlueStacks, you can also access Coinomi via desktop or laptop.
Another valid option is Electrum.
Finally, if you're comfortable with paperwallet, generate one at https://walletgenerator.net/?currency=Unobtanium

But do you know if I'll lose my UNO if I can't withdraw it from Bittrex in the next few days? That was what I was asking and is all I give a sh*t about right now!   Roll Eyes Grin

Hi Loafman,
it's highly unlikely that you will not be able to withdraw your coins even if the market is deleted.
Anyways, ckeck this out with the Bittrex support. Plus, downloading and installing Coinomi is a matter of seconds on your mobile or tablet.
In case you can't, then generate a paperwallet.

Sorry guys but for me this crypto is soo way overvaluated. I can see much anonymous cryptocurrencies arround so the competition is hard and cant see Verge edge..
Monero, Zcash, Pivx, DeepOnion, hard to keep up IMO

Why come to this thread just to say that? If you don't want to invest in something that is fine, your choice, but to bash something just for the sake of it is ridiculous. It is not overvalued in the slightest, it is way undervalued when you compare XVG to the other privacy coins. You mention DeepOnion but that is new, XVG has been around for far longer. Most of those crytocurrencies you mention should be keeping up with XVG, not the other way around. Your comment suggests other projects are better or have been around longer, which is far from the truth. It has not taken off as well as people hoped just yet, but anything can happen and big things are yet to come. The dev is very active and XVG has a huge community. It has already been successful in its own right.

lol half the coins he just named have nothing in terms of privacy

Which half?

Sorry I'm confused. Is there a link to help?

What is the significance of Ohad leaving the project? Does Agoras link to the old tau or new tau?

How does this article gel with everything?: https://cointelegraph.com/news/tau-chain-a-decentralized-app-store-with-greater-flexibility-than-ethereum
It suggests genesis being ready this year but what now with the split?

TBH, Not even sure what to ask lol. Ive read the network doesn't need fuel so no sure what Agoras does.

The CT article was published on Aug 13, 2015.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tau-Chain and Agoras Official Thread: Generalized P2P Network on: October 06, 2017, 08:21:54 AM
Hello everybody,
is there anybody in the know that can tell me seriously, and honestly, about the progress of this project.
I would like to average down my investment by buying more tokens, but I need to have some schedule to make sense of any further investment.
What happened to the atmosphere created by this CoinTelegraph article
https://cointelegraph.com/news/tau-chain-a-decentralized-app-store-with-greater-flexibility-than-ethereum
This was in Aug 2015, over two years ago.
Apart from the length of this Bitcointalk thread, it would be proper to be informed on how the initiative is unfolding.
The price of AGRS has been going consistently down since the date of the publication of the CT article mentioned above, as if nothing significant has been done in the course of time.

Please provide a list of the people and the skills involved, full and part time, in the realisation of the project.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Filing a lawsuit against Genesis Mining on: September 17, 2017, 05:13:44 PM
You are saying that you didn't get payments from Genesis, but in fact you did. You posted screenshots that they are paying.

If you look carefully wizzkid, you can see that the payments aren't paid properly. I waited 6 WHOLE days to get paid and the day after that, they started with excuses again and that they would start a payment process the same day.

I also didn't say that I didn't get paid. They just don't pay you properly and come with many excuses every freaking time.
You arent paid off by them? How? knowing that payouts are automatically sent from those people who did invest on their cloud mining. Dont tell me that they are doing manual payments as of now. Honestly speaking this is my first time to encounter people who didnt get paid by genesis mining for how many days. 6 days is really a long wait and another day the problem arises again. better to contact them asking whats really the matter.

I do get paid by them, but not properly! See here my Ethereum deposit details:
https://etherchain.org/account/0x950f3d6cb73ed38f3549ef31664ff993eeb533f8#txreceived

This is the address from Genesis Mining: 0xFE92a3cf1843B5eC7CCf27b2AE753faC1289Fa9D
Then the best thing you can do for now is to contact them and telling them about your concern or issue since they are the only ones can resolve such thing because i didnt experience such thing because i do recieve payout anytime and automatically. There might something wrong with them in your case because its somehow manual as far as i can see.

I did that and they won't do much. If you complain, they respond very late on purpose. I found a contract lawyer in Munich who will be contacting them soon. We are in the process of preparing for a lawsuit if nothing comes back from them, because I want to get out and I have the rights just like anybody else.

Hi Aerial, I replied to one of your post in this thread earlier today. Did you really manage to get in touch with a contract lawyer to deal with the matter legally? If so, please tell me if it's possible to arrange a class action. It would be great if a number of people were gathered. This way would be good to bring legal assistance costs down. Even if a class action is not possible, please keep me posted. Let's catch up via email. Is there a way to PM on Bitcointalk? If you can, please give me your email contact.

Hi Aerial, I have been looking for productive threads where a serious action against Genesis Mining can be organised.
I am glad I have found some helpful reflection on Bitcointalk also.
I know that payouts are automatically executed. That's what's really surprising actually. What I can tell you for sure is that sometimes payments are simply not made, so that missing payouts accumulate till a nice sum is created. Apparently, a large number of customers are experiencing this kind of fraud. Please understand that this is not a mattere of discussing the ROI opportunity. This topic has been discussed a lot across dedicated Internet quarters. The principal point here is that they may not pay. That's it. A support ticket is opened, and they don't respond. They simply don't care. I systematically update a document illustrating all the payments issues I have, and open a ticket. Nothing. Since the support staff is inexistent, I also wrote to S. Schindler, Genesis Mining CTO. I wrote to the sales department. I also wrote to the PR manager, in the hopes that someone might care. In the meantime, payouts remain missing in multiple algos.
Importantly, this is not a matter of subjectively expressing points of view on cloud mining investment. Everybody can says what thinks about it, at any time. Different perspectives on whether it is a viable investment or not. What I am saying here is that they decide not to pay. And because they do discard the assistance requests, they are not paying intentionally.
I know people that only received a small portion of coins after paying the contract. Genesis Mining seem to be using the hack and infrastructure reconstruction arguments to generate confusion. Time goes on and on, and coins remain unpaid. After weeks and months, nothins happens.
Check this out:
https://www.reddit.com/r/GenesisMining/comments/6uave4/lets_organize_a_class_action_against_genesis/
If someone here knows about someone legally organising to act against this dishonest company, please get back to me in this thread.

Yesterday I received this from Cindicator:

"Tonight we are announcing the Tier-3 list. All those who are selected for Tier-3 will receive an email. Our sincere apologies for the delay - we carefully inspected each and every application so that only honest people will join our sale. We believe that it is necessary measure to protect our ecosystem and community."

It should be noticed that they are picking only honest people. All those that are not picked for the ICO are dishonest. How ludicrous this ICO and project are!

I would like to know the criteria they have used for the selection. At the same time, I don't wanna know them because I know that they are banally predictable.

Same here, I'm a bit disappointed too, not honest enough for this project?  Angry

Hey guys

its not about being honest or hishonest, the criteria was to judge how suitable you as an investor to this project

if your write up matched our expectation u got in

if it didnt write what we wanted to see, you couldnt get in. as simple as that

I read and re read the email sent last night but it was clearly stated that same above posted "HONEST PEOPLE WILL JOIN OUR SALE" simple interpretation to anyone that you are judging the writeups , flowery words where the investors wrote/ will write and profiles ask to be able to be selected and considered as honest investor.Do you know that some people hire people to write their articles just for a fivver or less to make their article appealing?

Semantics is important. Hopefully, next time they will care about choosing the correct words.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] BANKERA - the Bank for the Blockchain Era on: September 09, 2017, 09:03:40 AM
Bankera is a spin-off of SpectroCoin, which is a wallet and exchange.

Problems:

1. SpectroCoin has an opaque fee structure. Particularly, they are not transparent of their exchange fee. After using their exchange service, I calculated over 4%. Which matches the statements in this 2014 CoinDesk article
https://www.coindesk.com/spectrocoin-launches-bitcoin-cash-service-25-countries/
Such a fee is terribly exhilarating.
The card mechanism and charges are not clear either. You need to get in touch with their incompetent support to get some information.

2. Banking is science, notably nowadays when compliance and regulation adherence are filled with intricacies, and fees are numerous and sophisticated. Their support is simply unable to assist. Their agents are oftentimes off-topic, they are slow, their contents are poor. As soon as the matter gets complicated, they just don't know how to help. They are bored and unmotivated.

Since Bankera is directly related to or identifies with SpectroCoin, then these problems should raise some serious perplexities.

app is flawwed

still cant log in or do anything. I get the email, thats as far as it goes..

Doesn't surprise me. MCO keeps telling people their almost there, almost there, and keeps delaying the VISA support proof and rolling out the cards for people to actually use. They are behind other Crypto debit cards and its becoming more apparent each day.

I think MCO is great on paper but needs to actually create something like the TenX PAY card. Tenx will do something like TETHER cryptos so they will have a stabilized element to their cards.
Here is the proof from the TenX founder himself.

https://youtu.be/wCA6zGBNS4g?t=20m50s

What's the purpose of using the blue color? Just say what you need to without shouting, and if you don't like the Monaco project, sell the tokens.

He is scared that Monaco will beat Tenx, that's all. He invested in Tenx, but didn't expected MCO to grow and he knows it is just matter of time till MCO will be higher than Tenx.

If everyone will focus on MCO, there will be none who support Tenx and he will loose money or will not get get new money. Seems like he has a lot of Tenx if he has time to flood MCO thread with competitor information. Would be great to have moderated thread so such issues doesn't happen.

Thanks for your point of view. I tend to agree. All this FUD is unbearable.
