21  Other / Politics & Society / Re: mind on: August 04, 2017, 01:08:24 PM
Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.

Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.

Mind is a beautiful servant, and a dangerous master.

22  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you support or acknowledge the gender neutral society on: August 04, 2017, 12:59:03 PM
It might sounds good the idea of the gender neutral society, and we have to admit that comparatively with the past some prejudices like the fact that the woman haw the right to work.Although somethings are characteristics of the gened either is that the male or neither the female. For example the women are commonly more sensitive, talkative ,and powerless than the men.I am not racist and I don't say that this happens with all the women, but I think that this is happening and this is the reason why we are different...
23  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think believe and faith is same ? on: August 04, 2017, 12:48:34 PM
In my opinion belief and faith is not the same.If you believe something it means that you have proof and thare is some reason to act like that.In adition believe it means that you are trying to understand and not just waiting the fate. From the other side maybe you think that the faith has the shame meaning but it hasn't .We could say that is a similar word, but I believe that faith is a more pathetic and monotonous word.
24  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money 💰💰💰 on: July 31, 2017, 10:51:03 AM
It's sad this fact and unfortunately this is not the only one. Here in my country (Greece) many students, and graduates leave the country and migrate to find work and a better kind of life.I think that this is the proof that we are dependent  with money even if we don't want to admit it.
25  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: July 31, 2017, 10:42:33 AM
Well the truth is that money can't buy somethings like friends, respect, love, etc. However it would be a lie to tell that we don't need money or even that money is a secondary thing. We all want, like, and need money and this happens for a quite a simple reason.Without money we can not survive. We need money to buy food, clothes even health(doctors, medicines) or education (college, universities, books). So the standard of your living it depends on the amount of the money you have..!!
26  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fingerstyle guitarists on: July 30, 2017, 11:15:34 AM
I play classical guitar so it's impossible to play some rifs without to use fingerstyle.
I playing for the fun so I've never study with a teacher. You could try to see some videos on youtube for your first steps but if you like to overcome the indermediate level and play difficult songs then you have to study again and again with a teacher.
27  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is your favorite poem? on: July 30, 2017, 11:10:47 AM
“The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost (1874-1963)

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

29  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why I want a time machine ... on: July 29, 2017, 07:33:28 PM
If I had a time machine I would visit old eras like the season of the dinosaurs, the moment when universe was created, the neolithic era etc.I am not sure if I would like to visit the future, because I think that will be bad...
30  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bully Problem on: July 29, 2017, 07:20:21 PM
How that may happen? If someone is bullying you is not your friend, and a friend of you is not to bully in you.Inform your parents, your teacher,or someone you can trust and try not to be afraid. These kind of people exploit people that are be afraid and in the reality they may be afraid and shaked down from other people.
31  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How society works on: July 29, 2017, 07:13:43 PM
This is really happens.Do 10 good things and no one will congratulates you.Do 1 bad thing and everyone will judge you.I am not sure why people act in this way.Maybe they feel inferior and have complex with other people. Some people are not satisfy with their selves, so they are selfish and individualist. So they react in this kind of way...
32  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to be contented on what you have? on: July 29, 2017, 07:06:39 PM
As I observed myself it looks like I never stop on planning to buy new things that I dont have yet.

Dear friend, calm down because this is not just your personal problem but a world problem and it is be called consumerism. The factories and the sellers do whatever they can to sell their products, even if some of that things are immoral and happens without to realise it (subconsciously). The fact that we are try to satisfy our selves with buying things that we don't need it's tragic.Happiness won't be found in a new expensive phone, clothes or a car.Yes that may help you feel better, but you will be happy just for a moment. We need to be more sociable and honestly to our self and give him what he really wants!!
33  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anxiety and Depression on: July 29, 2017, 06:56:28 PM
First of all let's clear that I am 19 years old so I don't know how is to be older. However from my experience I believe that the most vulnerable age for someone to be depressed and anxious is the adolescence (about 13-18 years old).In this age someone may have not complete a character and discover some things that may fell complicated, like what should I do with my life,I don't know what job to do etc.
34  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you had 3 wishes, what would they be? on: July 22, 2017, 01:59:07 PM
I'll be realistic so I wouldn't ask for infinite wishes.
Firstly I would ask a specific amount of money so I could study, help my family and  generally have a better standard of living (about 300.000 euro). Then I would like to be a child again because I believe that I didn't managed well my childhood. The thrid wish hhmm I would like a better world to live but this is not going to happen so I would like me and my familly to be healthy for the rest of our lives.
35  Other / Off-topic / Re: Learning a new language on: July 22, 2017, 01:50:59 PM
The more practical and easy way to learn a foreign language is to live in that place for a period of time or communicate with persons that are from this country. If this is not possible then may be more difficult to truly understand this language so you can understand and speak  fluently. If you are begginer you have to buy some books and study till you are in an indemediate level. Then it would be also helpfull to hear thsi language (songs, movies, podcast) and keep a contact otherwise possibly you will forget the language..
36  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about philosophy? on: July 21, 2017, 01:05:33 PM
Philosophy is the prove that people is superior from the other mammals animals.
I think that philosophy will always be topical and at the same time timeless.People are incomplete and with disgusion, questions and generally  discussion people become more open-minded and less xenophobic.
