Concerning the signature set-up there is a great video on youtube, explaining very nicely, how to select the right signature and how to find the Bitcointalk ID and how it needs to be added in the signature. I just also followed it, to make sure I have updated the signature correctly as my Bitcointalk level just changed. So do not forget to keep your signature updated when you change your Bitcointalk Level!
A Youtube video is excellent. Many people won't watch it, however. It should not be required to watch an external video to understand how to sign-up - the process should be 100% clear from the sign-up process itself. Otherwise, we are guaranteed to lose a large number of sign-ups.

What do you suggest to increase the clarity and quality of the process?
Adding a little "Help" hover button next to each field would be nice. A lot of people seem to confuse what "Bitcointalk ID" means. There should be a help button that explains exactly what the ID is and where to find it. Also, the user's Bitcoin Talk ID number should be automatically injected into the footer code for them, so that they don't have to manually replace the XXXX, which also seems to be a problem for many to understand. Sorry if any of this was already added, I haven't checked the registration process in a while.

Hi, what exactly is your problem to sign up?
Sorry if I was unclear. I do not have a problem. I was referring to the many people who come here experiencing a problem understanding the participation requirements and instructions.

Hello,
Is there work being done to simplify and streamline the Airdrop sign-up procedure? Tons of people seem to be having problems with it, and probably countless more have tried and gave up without asking for help here.

I think the Tweet should emphasize the use of TOR. Many people have heard of TOR, but most of them won't associate it with "Onion". I think it's important for the TOR integration to be made very clear, it's an important selling point.

Just a couple of thougths, ONION should be in coinmarketcap's top 20 at the airdrop's end, it has a stronger comunity than several of the coins in the top places and a great dev team, the top 20 coins have at least 300 millions in marketcap, at, lets say 20 millions supply it means 15$ each ONION.
Do you think we can hit it before the 40th drop?
Total Market Cap is not calculated based on total coin supply. It is calculated based on circulating coin supply.

It can be about anything as long as its not in the "off topic" section of the forum, last airdrop I got 330 onions, I would anticipate with the extra users the number will drop though, would get around 200ish or so, but at the current price thats still around $500 a week
Just remember that if you transfer more than 10% out of your wallet, you are not elligible for future Airdrops. (I'm sure you know this, just leaving this comment out there for other members.) So in fact it's more like $50 / week if you want to remain eligible, which is still very good!

Don't worry about it man, we actually want people to slowly dump one at a time instead of holding until week 40 and then dumping all at once, it keeps the supply from being centralized in the hands of a few who start panic selling once the price drops a few cents
Exactly. This is a natural and healthy cycle.

I have to say I am pretty surprised (in a good way 😁) that the price is rising so well. I think the dev has done us a favour by limiting the dumping of this coin. I have been selling my 10% of the airdropped coins but beginning to wonder if I should be holding everything with the way things are going!
If I may ask: how many coins did you receive so far as a Sr. Member? I was a full member for a while and only received last airdrop as a senior member. Last drop I received 363 onions. I am not comfortable with revealing my total amount. No worries, thank you for the information you shared.

The price is going up so fast, it's ridiculous.

Does anyone know around how many people currently participate in the Airdrop?

Hi guys, glad to see such an active project; I've published a new pool at http://sumo.chipscart.comand runs on a dedicated VPS; feel free to point your miners here too! I will give your pool a try as soon as the Easy Miner is out.

I thought I will post this here: it's a screenshot (shared in Telegram by a dev) of the Sumo Easy Miner that should be released this month. I personally can't wait.

Do I understand correctly that, once the mainnet goes live, I'll be able to exchange 10 NET for 1 Nimiq? And since one Net is currently around $1.4, does this mean the price of one Nimiq would be around $14 right now?
|
|
|
Devs, may I ask how work on the Easy Miner is coming along? Can't wait for that one.
|

the price didn't go down, the BTC price skyrocketed.
Before the skyrocket the Sumo price was ~$0.30 but just because BTC went to the moon doesn't mean SUMO is more valuable so it's price against BTC adjusted (lowered) to keep it at about the same rate of ~$0.30
Very important observation.
