22  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth so much ? on: June 23, 2020, 07:38:41 AM
Bitcoin has a lot of both price and demand due to the increase in the price of Bitcoin in general Bitcoin is more in demand than many lucrative currency diamonds Bitcoin investments are more profitable than investing in Bitcoin from other currencies. If Bitcoin were not a profitable currency its value would not be so high.
Other coin depends on the bitcoin price on the market. Bitcoin is the expensive one because it is the first coin known when it comes to cryptocurrency. It gains trust to lot of investors which gets high demand. Like gold, bitcoin is valuable and worth. Limited supply make the price increase and many strongly hold it to gain high profit.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or has the entry bar become a lot higher? on: June 22, 2020, 10:42:26 AM
Of course not only you. Many users still refuse to reveal their personal info just to use an online exchange. The case is different with you because you were absent during the last years as many changements has been happened so far.
There are still some good options that can help you buy and sell bitcoin without the need to expose your identity through KYC process. I guess you didn't search for decentralised exchanges or peer to peer exchanges where you can just make direct trades or a fast swap, but it still depends on the pairs your are using/looking for.
Take a look at localcrypto (old localethereum), it's maybe the suitable option for you after you being inactive for a long period.
Knowing your customer requires personal information which is necessary to avoid fraud activities. There is no anonymity when you are doing transactions even in decentralize way. It is better because that way you can trust the platform that you are using and safe to make different transactions on it.

26  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth so much ? on: June 18, 2020, 11:47:29 PM
It's just simple really. BTC is the first cryptocurrency out there. It's the foundation that built the market. So there's no doubt that it will be the most expensive coin out there. And come to think of it, When people hear "Cryptocurrency" they're first thought is BTC not ETH, BNB etc. And the price of BTC really depends on the market. People know that BTC has the most potential to all coins/tokens out there. So that's what they initially hold.
That is right. Bitcoin is the first thing to think when it comes to crypto. Everything in the market depends on the movement and value of bitcoin. Bitcoin is the leading coin in crypto market and the strongest, it is the investment that you cannot be afraid of losing unless you cannot handle your emotions on every situation occur.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion on stable coins? on: June 18, 2020, 10:06:42 AM
Stable coins are good for all the company and institutions who pays their employees and clients by stablecoins. Why? Because from the name itself it says " stable".
I agree. Stable coins are for investment on the stock market from the company but not too good for investing on altcoins which sudden lost the value when investors just look on making profit and not for the future of the coin. Stable coins are better for the trader.
28  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: June 18, 2020, 08:17:00 AM
Ico is good to invest in if you can actually make money if those projects will be listed in those big exchange and not on etherdelta and hitbtc were most thing that happened is dump and sell out of panic.
I don't think Ico itself is bad but what is bad is our attitude towards how this market work , no one want to invest in a project because he believes in the future of those project but just to sell for profits.
Some of ICOs good at the beginning but keeps losing its value later on when it is early listed on the exchange. Some are not looking on the product of the project to invest with, but with the price when they are going to gain profit which become immediate that cause a panic selling on the market and exceed the circulating value.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I like to learn and use bitcoin on: June 18, 2020, 05:16:45 AM
I  found bitcoin easy to understand when I first heard of it. It isn't very difficult to understand. Banking is much more complicated. Thankfully my bank changed the way it works and it now looks like a crypto wallet xO
Crypto you need just an address. Banking you need all these details and you need to make sure you actually get the money it doesn't get reversed or something. Bitcoin just made all that much easier.

I agree with that. There is no hard thing when you want to learn. Crypto is easy to use than registering on the bank which need a lot of information and details to understand. When you know about crypto, it is an advantage to know understand how it works where you cannot only use strategy but develop your own way how you can gain from it. Learning bitcoin also gives you freedom to make money for the living and storage where you can hold and trade.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Timing to Hodl tokens is very important. on: June 17, 2020, 11:45:19 PM
Tokens are very difficult to hold for long periods of time.  my experience is the longer tokens are stored the value decreases and can be lost, to make long term investments it's better to choose altcoins which is already popular it can reduce the risk
There are times that altcoin only have good value now but later it lost even it has good paper. You can put your trust on investing with the popular one than taking the risk on the new one. If you have coins and have value now, do not think too much and wait that much, make profit when it still have a value. And hold on coin that take a long term value on the market.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 effect on your country's economy!!! on: June 17, 2020, 08:37:13 AM
Corruption, widespread unemployment and lack of solid plans to jumpstart the economy. The government's debt rose to $175 billion dollars and not much of that money ever came into good use aside from the inconsistent and rather shady financial assistance. Online sellers of the smallest scale are also being considered to be taxed just to get some funds going on, but many people surely hate that idea. The government is also trying funky ways to get some.money, but the citizens are having none of it.

Greetings from the Philippines. A country of fucked-up politicians and clowns.
Seems like there is no solid plans and the economy are going down that even small online seller has to be taxed for the government to have funds. This pandemic gave negative impact on the economic status, we are now all suffering from the late actions to avoid the spread of virus. Hope that real vaccine for the virus come up and stop mass killing.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: June 16, 2020, 10:35:01 PM
Holding shitcoins on my purse. When the bull run arrives i have some few tokens that have good value but of course I become so greedy expecting more until I cant sell some of my tokens and become useless. Thats what my greatest regret on altcoins, so if ever I held some valuable coins or tokens once again I would not let it slide this time.

Will exchange that for top coins such as bitcoin and ethereum.
I am holding shitcoins also but the difference is that it does not have any value on the market. I have been joined some airdrops and there where it came from which also a reason why my valued coins disappear on my wallet. It is ungrateful experience because of greediness, instead of having more, you turn into nothing. When there is an opportunity, grab it because that might not happen again.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: June 16, 2020, 01:33:07 PM
The fees are high because we converted it in USD and the value of bitcoin is too expensive so the fee look very expensive too even though bitcoin fee is still the same as before. If you realy want a lower fees you always find a way in some good and trusted altcoins like, XRP, DOGE, ETH and more out there just convert it to altcoins and withdraw it.
yes I agree, and one of the other alternative ways to avoid expensive fees by making transactions or withdrawals, we can use by choosing to use altcoin which of course the cost is not as expensive as using bitcoin, the expensive cost on bitcoin does make sense because the estimated price of bitcoin is very high However, for withdrawing large amounts I still choose to use bitcoin even though the cost is very high.
Even it is high, you do not have any choice if you are really want to get bitcoin. It is all the same expensive fees whichever exchange you are using but withdrawing higher amount is the way to lessen to use of fees. Or convert coins on altcoin that has lesser fee like eth and xrp as stated.
34  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Whoever did this will go to hell - Bitcoin scam on: June 15, 2020, 10:23:50 PM
There are many youtube scam giveaways right now, I don't really understand why those channels have so many subscribers even though they are giving scam giveaways, we should not encourage those people by subscribing them if we already know that the channel is doing the wrong thing we should report and unsubscribe it.

There are no such things that will double your money in just a few days, its really impossible, most of the scammers are using that line to persuade other people because if you heard that things, that would be sounds so good, so you will try it because of thinking that it can double your money. Do not believe those lines you will get scammed if you give your trust to those people.
There have lots of bitcoin doubler even in telegram. It attracts those who ant to invest but only have a little amount. It is the strategy of those scammer, to gain by joining on them which fools everyone and left with nothing. Ensure that the sites are legit before giving in because many are just a bait.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: June 14, 2020, 12:05:19 PM
I think cryptocurrencies are hard to replace fiat money or it will take a lot of time. Because cryptocurrencies are decentralized, decentralized, unchecked - something governments don't like. Money is the power and power of each nation. Therefore, cryptocurrencies are always constrained and banned in many countries
Crypto and fiat working differently  while some country ban the use of it because of illegal transactions but still it cannot replace the money that the government created. Both can be used to purchase and invest but only one is more convenient. It is important that you have know how crypto works so that you can survive even when the downfall comes.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I like to learn and use bitcoin on: June 14, 2020, 08:42:50 AM
Actually, I think this is the best time to spread the gospel.

Community quarantine is still happening in different parts of the world.
They cannot make their transactions outside and they will rely on the internet.
It would be best to first target the services.
Once they have the option to pay in bitcoin then maybe, even just for a little chance the people will use that option.

But think about it, if there is no option to pay thru bitcoin then what use can it be?
You say just an investment. But it was not made for that.
If they lose money they will just withdraw it which makes it look like a bank. Why not just pick bank instead? It will be easier.

You have to give them a better reason for bitcoin to be kept.
Cryptocurrency becomes popular where it comes to bitcoin. It is additional knowledge to learn about it and how it works along the market where you trade and invest with it. Others are having financial freedom on working on it and even used this currency to purchase on online stores. There are lot of reason why keep liking bitcoin but only few can understand.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: June 14, 2020, 05:56:01 AM
It’s easier for people to cheat than to work honestly. My conscience would never allow me to deceive a person, which is probably why I am still poor ....
And there's nothing wrong about it, you should stand proud despite of having such status Smiley! Remember that MONEY isn't everything in this world. Yeah it was essential for living but life is more than that. If I have to choose, I would still go with clear conscience despite of being poor because the fulfillment of having pure heart is the real happiness you can get Smiley.
Continue playing fair and square.
I agree. Being square and fair might happen and do not drive having lot of money on doing fraud. You cannot find satisfaction in life when you do bad and against the humanity. There are lot of scams in social media that offer a business or job which being abandoned after gaining. Hope that scheme stop and many learned from their mistakes. Do not fall easily. It is an evil deed.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Bitcoin as inheritance on: June 14, 2020, 04:06:42 AM
As far as I understand, a person initially does not want to trust his money to anyone, friend or family. He wants them to be able, even theoretically, to receive money only after his death, and not earlier. And here big problems are possible, because let's say that a person does not trust anyone, although, I would probably suggest then, a bank cell.

It is still possible, can leave an inheritance by just putting small information that only our friend knows and the half information for our family in which when combined together, could potentially unlock the funds that we secured. It is not necessary to provide the password, maybe just give some hints, we'll not give out anything while we live, the idea is to preserve it till we die so our family will benefit from it, might as well provide a small credit to our friends.

But as the cryptocurrency era is currently expanding and develops I think pretty soon, there will be services that will offer this bitcoin inheritance system.
Maybe it is good idea having handbook where your account is listed with the password or private keys and leave it on your locker where your family have access when you live this world. While you are alive,.your family knows about your transactions and crypto even they do not involve on it which give them hint that their inheritance has something to do with it.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Spend Bitcoin? on: June 14, 2020, 03:02:06 AM
Well, in my opinion, spending bitcoin in an online shop is not profitable and can be wasted your money. As you can see, most of the item which can be purchased by bitcoin usually has a higher price than those originals store or even Amazon. If I were you, I would exchange my crypto to Fiat to have a better rate and cheap prices. However, I will never do that. I always consider bitcoin as a term of investment and therefore, spending bitcoin is not a good idea to me. Instead, saving bitcoin is my number one target. The more bitcoin I have, the more chance I will double my capital in the future. Therefore, be wise and think straight before trying to use any of your bitcoin for nonsense stuff Wink
I agree with that. Spending bitcoin in unnecessary things is not good idea especially that now where bitcoin has low value in the market which can gain higher in the future. For me it is better to invest or trade it for the mean time and for the time like this pandemic we should spend wisely. Spend on everything you need but make sure that it is on fiat because it is more expensive to use bitcoin to purchase on some stores.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: June 13, 2020, 09:58:54 AM
Yeah banks might not be needed if crypto survives because the demand for crypto increases people will lean towards crypto and can find crypto exchanges and wallets safe when using cryptocurrencies. Also many will complete virtual transactions through credit cards If people everywhere the planet accept cryptocurrency as a virtual currency through blockchain technology the demand for banks will decrease tons Then banks and cryptocurrencies will start circulating.
I do not think that government will allow that even how high technology runs on our lives. Cryptocurrencies is not controllable and the values fluctuates from time to time which is not dependable. It is possible but takes long time to happen when crypto is powerful than the government.
