Anyone noticed around 30% less coins mined in the last 1-2 days?
Im on Suprnova pool and I noticed the network hasrate vent down a lot but I did start making a lot less.
I usually mined 5-10% less then calculated but now more then 30%.

Suprnova rvn coins per hour over a 24 hour period are low for me too.  I’m looking for another pool.  Any suggestions?

http://www.ravenminer.com - rocksolid and pretty big one.

I wonder how to know that ANYCOIN at the right moment Sad

Who stops you from mining or buying  some coin that people never heard about and its ranked around 1500-2000 on CoinmarketCAP?

It's very simple you must gamble, with your money and your time, also keep in mind that gamblers will always praise their winnings but will always hide their loses.

What stops me is that all my recent gambling failed Smiley)

I pulled my 1080ti off RVN once the difficulty went up to 25K.  Just way too uphill for me at least with one card anyway.  Wish I had started mining that one four months ago.  Now everybody jumped on it and its ruined.
Yeah, if you just know to mine ETH in 2016 or RVN four month ago or *ANYCOIN* *ANYTIMEBEFORE*...

WTM currently has problem with RVN calculation, when they fix it will line up with other coins. Positive thing that hashrates will be lower on other coins.

I wonder how to know that ANYCOIN at the right moment Sad

Are you sure it was your GPU that got fried? From experience it is always either the PSU or PCIE riser that will burn first. PSUs will pop because of overload and risers will burn because of poor SATA/molex connections.

Given that your GPU is only 1 month old i also doubt it would just spontaneously give out. Unless its  a lemon. Could you provide more details to help us learn more?

Hi, pretty sure it is GPU, i will investigate it deeper later but riser/cables has no sign of damage, and GPU itself has strong strong smell... And yes it is only 1 month old.

Thanks everyone for advices, i will clear thing a bit:

1. All my rigs are NVIDIA based 1060,1070/ti,1080,1080ti
2. All set up to 73C max and ~65-75 PowerLimit (and actually running 55-70C)
3. Cards has a lot of space between 10-15 cm at least (6-7GPU rig is 90cm long)
4. Almost all risers are the same manufacturer and looks like pretty quality one. Thats why they are all the same.
5. GPU OC is +50 on GPU max and 300-500 on memory depending on stock clocks, but no extremes
6. PSUs takes up to 85% of their max from the wall, so if it is 1000W it takes about 850 from the wall (and thats gives + -10-15% beacuse of effeciency so it is about 750 actual load on PSU).
7. Maybe PSU load could be a problem, but they are all EVGA/Seasonic/Corsair and has some spare power.
8. All rigs are pretty stable, some may reboots each once 7-10 days, but if it happens often i look at them closer until they are stable.

So far that much from me.

Thanks everyone involved!

Hi everyone,

Today I was lucky enough to be at home when heard loud noise from miner and strong smell. Luckily I was able to turn it off quickly, seems like one of Inno3d GTX 1070 went down, and it is one of newest card, ~1 month old.

I also have some remote miners, now I really wandering what could happen if I won't be near to turn miner off?? What security mechanism to avoid hard overheat is implemented in GPUs?

How are you guys monitor your remote rigs to avoid any big damage?

Thanks!
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] dstm's ZCash / Equihash Nvidia Miner v0.6 (Linux / Windows) on: February 23, 2018, 08:00:38 PM
@dstm

Hi, i moved to 0.6 and miners telemetry are going offline, miner works but telemetry does not work so monitoring software alerts me..

On 0.5.8 it was rock solid for months, moved to 0.6, not using config, only thing changed is i added --color to bat. And problems started. OS - Win 10

BR

It looks like your monitoring software isn't parsing the json-response properly. 0.6 added some GPU information to the response.

@dstm it is not software problem, same with simple http request, after about ~24-48 hrs telemetry service stops working, then i simply close and restart cmd (not miner OS) and it works instantly. It is repeating poblem and came with 0.6, was rock solid for month on previous version.

BR.

I keep getting :  invalid username used for login
No matter what i am using, be it ETN address, email, login for the website nothing works.
What is the problem with that?

It says :   Username:   weblogin.workername (replace weblogin to your actual login id)
What is the actual login id anyway. And do we have to put a DOT(.) adding workername also?

All that in XMR-Stak btw

Thank you.

Finally... finally there is some entry into the mining treshhold!

Those are not stock clocks for reference design super hot FE.

I can get 2900 easily with power limiting at - 13 and a bit of OC.

So what, its same 1080ti's on different miners... You stated that EWBF is faster, its not at least on my hardware.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] dstm's ZCash / Equihash Nvidia Miner v0.5.8 (Linux / Windows) on: January 30, 2018, 12:43:40 PM
The fastest miner for 1080tis is still EWBF.

On stock FE, it gets < 700.

It depends on the cards.

superclocked card can do 720 stock and run at 60 degrees.  FE runs at > 71 degrees no matter what.

I have 4 of them on a cold cement floor spaced out with long adapters.

For me DSTM is faster, here is some quick test on stock settings:

What I would love to know.... is how to disable a GPU... For whatever reason, this miner just never starts. It keeps saying that "GPU 1" is unresponsive... I'd love to at least TRY this miner on my 1070ti but can't do so if it won't even let me disable a GPU that isn't working with it... and no, I'm not just removing the card... the computer the cards are in is the computer i'm using to type this message.... as in, i use the computer and it just mines when its idle..... or at least would if this worked....

Use --dev switch check help on how to use it.
