Whenever you need to switch to USD, you can use BTC-e. They do paypal and wire transfers. I'd recommend wire transfer, but I've had success with paypal from them.

I like how a sr member is fronting this coin, but there's a TON of missing information so close to the release... not really set up for success.

I've only ever had ~2.5BTC max at any given time due to my financial constraints as a student. In addition I had to quit trading because of how time consuming it was AND quit trying to be an early adopter for new coins to make money so I completely gave up. Now QRK is my exclusive altcoin and I'm just gonna hold. I managed to get above 10k with the recent drop so that's nice... My main aspiration with cryptos is to buy property with it in a couple of years, so here's to hoping QRK seriously takes off in the year of the cryptos!

I usually like to hold some BTC when trading alts, but after the drop today, I spent all my BTC picking up more QRK, SBC and even a little bit of DOGE for the luls. Don't worry too much about this drop. China forbade their banks from performing services for cyrptos (I think, maybe someone else can be more specific) so speculators gonna speculate and are dumping everything.

I only have 275kh to offer, but ya know what? screw it, this made me laugh so I'll mine this tonight.

This coin will be worthless once the meme dies down and is forgotten, as memes always fade. Because of the massive popularity of the coin due to its meme status, only a week later it's no longer a good idea to mine/invest. If you're holding DOGE, i'd say keep holding them until you notice the meme itself dying down. Personally, I'm going to sell what little I have a bit after the new year.

I'm still making about 0.08/day on my 6 favorite markets so no worries here. I think Cryptsy will be much faster once they implement their new servers.

I bought a number of QRK because I liked the name, just like BTE and BBQ. I love reading the trollbox, so if these two come together I'll be very happy.

I think Cryptsy should have waited to roll out their new site until after they got their new servers. That's when I noticed the slowdown. Other than that I've been satisfied with their site.

I usually do about 15-25% of the coin I'm trading on ping-pong creation. It's worked quite well for me. I don't know what's going on with cryptos this week, but gains are all over the place. Last week I was getting about 0.05 gain a day, but in just the last 12 hours I've had 0.065. Cryptos must be going crazy!

Hi all. I'm back with some pretty sexy results  .

I've been using CAT for 11 days and have already made back around a third of the cost! I've noticed not many users are posting helpful hints about what settings to use, which is a bit of unnecessary secrecy considering they'd have to be on your exact buy/sell thread to actually be competing with you (I think).

Anyway, Here's some tips for fellow CAT users from my more successful days. As a note, I trade exclusively on XXX/BTC markets. Most of this is probably elementary/common sense so I hope you veterans will forgive me.

• Trade in as many markets as you possibly can
• Trade in as large of volumes as you can (I trade around 15-20% at a time)
• Choose which markets you trade in by looking at the "Buy Trade 24H" tab in the Markets Lookup
• Reset your algorithms at least every day or two
• XPM/BTC has seen the most stable high volume of any market I've observed, it is responsible for ~17% of my total gain. Trade in XPM/BTC!
• Unless you're 100% sure about what you're doing, use Aggressive mode (mine is set to 1.25%). I've never had a market with 0 gain and restricting when it can create orders seems counter-productive to me, most likely because of my ignorance.

Just to reiterate: I have no idea what I'm doing, but it seems to be working pretty well, even though I'm sure it's suboptimal. In the 11 days straight I've used CAT on aggressive mode, I haven't seen any of the negative gain glitch some users are reporting (knock on wood).

Quick question for Sampey: Is CAT fully portable? As long as I have my keys (or xml file) I should be able to use CAT on any machine, right? I'm going on vacation and want to monitor my gains
