Stop mining on Altminer. The pool is broken. Switch to BSOD.
|
|
|
If you're on altminer, I recommend switching pools. Blocks there take 10 - 15 minutes to get scored, which means people can jump in with NiceHash and steal your rewards. Anyone can hop in and get credit for the "new" blocks that have already been mined. You do the work, but they get the coins. This is the other reasonably big Qbic pool: http://pool.mineproject.ru/site/mining They don't have this problem.

Do you allow auto-trading of goa to btc?
I am working on auto-exchange for GOA and some more. And anyway if I will not manage get it tested, will convert it manually for you. Other way would be to mine directly to GOA wallet I tried mining Neoscrypt coins with NiceHash and I got 100% rejected shares. Have you been able to use NiceHash on your pool?

What is going on with the reported earnings for DSR?
I've been mining it for 2 hrs and my earnings originally said around .54 DSR, then all of a sudden it dropped to .05? My earnings page doesn't show any payouts. Is there a reporting bug? I've definitely earned more than .05 because I can see in the individual blocks that i'm earning on average .01 or more every few minutes.
Will this be fixed and will I be paid correctly?
Thanks!
I have the exact same problem for DSR and SPK. Hi, Some miner has already reported this issue. After analysis, we conclude that's only a display issue (due to cache system) during reward calculation. That's happends sometime but value are updated a few minutes later. We have analysed some wallet and all reward are paid correctly in all case. Can you also confirm that ? If you want us to perform a deeper analysis, just send us your wallet (can be in pm if you prefer). We apologize for this inconvenient, but we garantie that your real balance is paid. Have a nice mining Yes, it was just a display issue. I got all of the coins I mined. Thanks.

NiceHash is now the least risky mining pool because you can cash out instantly with no fees to Coinbase. The most you'd ever lose right now is 15 bucks.

Something odd is happening with the mining. I rented over a TH of hashing power and didn't manage to find a single block! I should have found at least 20 blocks during the time I spent mining.

How good is this pool for BTG?
Thanks
It's the best. Coinotron is the only pool with RBPPS and PPS options, has 10x faster reward confirmation than other pools, and has easy profit-switching between ZEC and BTG. What do you suggest for BTG with 880H/s RBPPS or PPS or PPLNS? Thanks If you are going to mine non-stop for several weeks, then PPLNS is the way to go. Otherwise, I suggest RBPPS or PPS. Coinotron's fees are very low for both of them.

Hi! what's going on with BTG???
We are solving less blocks. Our pool hashrate dropped significantly after Nicehash hack. It looks like we had a lot of big miners from Nicehash. Does that mean that mining BTG is not profitable for us right now? can u tell us when it'll stabilize? also my uncofirmed rewards are taking too long to turn into confirmed rewards Not at all. You can check out current BTG profitability on whattomine.com Okay, i have another question. On whattomine according to my hashrate i should be making 2.4 vertcoin a day, here's the link: http://whattomine.com/coins/5-vtc-lyra2rev2?utf8=✓&hr=126000&p=&fee=0.0&cost=&hcost=0.0&commit=CalculateOn my coinotron account in the settings it says my estimated coins/day is 1.3 with the same hashrate How is this possible? The difficulty has gone up. WTM uses the average difficulty for the last 24 hours. The current difficulty is at least 40% higher.

I find that NiceHash pays more in the end, and it's much easier to use.
Like most miners I started with NiceHash but switched to pool mining after a while. But after doing some comparisons, I found that NiceHash paid at least as much, if not more, and it paid in the currency I wanted -- Bitcoin.
I am on nicehash this week since the bitcoin outpaced anything else. I have found that mining other pools can be far more unreliable and confusing. I did not make as much money mining XMR last week as I am making on nicehash this week. For example it sucks when you are stuck trying to find a block after 2 days and getting capped at max effort and then...blaaa blaaah... convert to bitcoin in the end anyway. I found that some pools scam you and don't actually pay you what you mined so there are other risks as well in dealing with someone who is not as established. I run all AMD so cryptonight works best for me. I will take any recommendations for good XMR or cryptonight based currencies that pay well. A lot of PPLNS-only pools can scam miners by claiming to have bad luck. NiceHash is pay per share, which means it's easy to verify that they are paying you properly. I always use pay per share pools if I can, even if the fees are slightly higher.

NiceHash.
You'll probably earn more due to profit-switching, and BTC is usually a better investment than altcoins in the long term. Use the NiceHash wallet to save on fees.

I am looking forward to RBPPS and PPS for BTG. That would help with the variance from the long block times. What payout method do most of your miners use for Zcash?

NiceHash pays more. It's simply a more efficient way to mine.

Why has EWBF miner doubled its DevFee on Flypool? This occurred when Flypool cut earned shares in half on Sept 28th, DevFee shares did NOT halve like earned shares (DevFee is twice what it was on Flypool). I expect this is a bug due to how you implement the following: Why does EWBF miner strongly scale DevFee with difficulty? Statistically this is not a 2% DevFee and is realistically very much higher. See: https://forum.z.cash/t/ewbf-dev-fee-almost-doubled-1-9-to-3-6-average/22460/4I am all for DevFee's, you should be paid for your work. However, I have an issue with misrepresenting the real DevFee. That is dishonest, makes me not trust you, and want to switch to other miner software. Just tell everyone what DevFee is, and let them decide. The dev fee shares are probably of a lower difficulty than the shares for your account. You can also disable the fee without any penalties.

Nanopool tends to underpay. I get much better results with the pools run by Bitfly (Ethermine and Flypool).
