21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pegascoin [PGC] | Ethash | 100% Pow on: April 16, 2018, 05:28:00 PM
Dev: If you want your coin to be mined, you need to add it to a decent exchange:

Abucoins, Bitfinex, Bittrex, Binance, Cryptopia, HitBTC, Poloniex or YoBit will get you listed on most mining sites, including whattomine.com which is where most professional miners get their info from
Price for listing on most exchanges is very expensive (now).

So how are you going to generate interest in the project? What is the point of this coin other than to store in DOB and get more coins? I'm not being rude, if I'm going to give you my hashpower I need to understand what the point of this coin is and how I can sustain/profit from it. I've read about DOB and it's interesting, but what will be this coins main application? what is project orbitary? and what are your roadmap goals over the next 1-3 years

If you could answer this question please Dev

Anyone know of a decent EU Pool I can mine to? I currently make up about 20% of the coin hashrate and would be good to help with de-centralization

This one http://pgc.minerpool.net/  or this one (solo-pool): http://pgc.ehashcoins.ru/

Russia is a bit far unfortunately, and I was mining on minerpool.net before I realized they had majority hashpower, which is not good. I've set up shop on pgc.coin-miners.info and hashing there, but a few of the spare miners i was using to dip my toes into this project are down so I'm running at about 2/3 hashpower atm

seems to be having issues. My mining rewards have not been listed at all and blocks aren't maturing. Anyone know how to contact them? I'll give them a chance to explain before I switch

How many of you have panic sold in the recent selloff? Gotta hodl boys this coin will moon soon.

yea a lot of people dumped, but didn't realize the major coins took a massive dip for cash outs. which affected all other coins. Hold people HOLD THE LINE!

I think this is a lot of inexperienced people doing this, I'm taking the opportunity to snap up a bit more. l I've seen where it's gone and im pretty sure it's still just testing the water. Time will tell but I'm bullish

i'm hoping someone can help me out with some knowledge. from what i understand the BTC split scared a lot of people from the markets, people pulled their coins out and stored them away in their wallets to avoid a possible loss. the fork with music is that similiar? when it splits do u get music cash if your coins are on the exchange and not in your wallets off the exchange.

If it is a hard fork you will need coins in your wallet, as keeping them on an exchange will not guarantee that you will get your coins. Exchanges most likely will give you 1:1 but the only 100% way is to keep them in your wallet during the fork.

Whats the payout structure?

Are you on my pool right now? I just realized the amount of coins credited is not correct. maybe there is a setting i was not aware off. i will pay you out of course as soon as i figured it out and then the pool should pay every hour. please PM me with your address to verify.

I am, I sent you a PM last night bud

Still not sure that the calculation is correct, what payout type are you using?

You'll donate $US 5 worth of $MUSIC to switch rigs over to your pool?

Its a new pool and I just wanna test it, so yes. I am trying to get some permanent miners to decrease Variance in solo mining. I dont wanna pay fees so also my pool is free. If you dont wanna mine music - fine Smiley

Liquidmining will answer the call

Whats the payout structure?

It's far from unknown, and he'll get a better exchange rate. I would post the referral link publicly but it's got my surname in it which for obvious reasons I would like to avoid publicising. I was just trying to help someone out, no need to get so hostile.

I'm new to altcoins too, and being from the UK I also had this problem.

As luck would have it my friend actually works for a company with a solution to this issue. You open a bank account (free), Verify your details using your driving license and a utility bill and then you can create other accounts in this account for Euros, GBP and Dollars. Each account has its own sort code/iban etc. PM me an email address and I'll send you a signup link that will give you a free transfer up to the value of £500.

You can use it to deposit in euros and convert to GBP at a very decent exchange rate and deposit into your UK bank

Since this is a new account  that I've just signed up with just to help you out, I'll forego the standard rhetoric and say:
"Create a new gmail! Don't give him your real email!"
"Double check the link for any malware!"

Feel free to take any precautions you deem necessary. Everything is above board and I'm not after your money, but by emailing you a referral link I get something in return when you use the service.

Cheers

Edit: Forgot to mention they have loads of other currencies too, about 16-20 I think
