21  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-02] Police Confirm North Korean Connection in Bitcoin Exchange Phishing on: October 02, 2017, 10:53:22 AM
I am not surprised that Kim is a thief too, even though he owns a country. I read somewhere, someone using this case as a good example for why bitcoin should be regulated. Stupid article, like north korea and isis does not use fiat?

22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: October 02, 2017, 09:56:13 AM
I think that for ethereum price to remain stable it needs to maintain a very high amount of buyers daily. Unlike bitcoins, as a trader this for me makes BTC better. Eth has a long way before being the future of cryptocurrencies, It will not compete with BCC in the near future.
23  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there nowhere to play NL Holdem tournaments anymore regularly? on: October 01, 2017, 06:56:30 PM
I am just getting back to playing and I cannot find a site that has regular tournaments. I used to use Seals With Clubs back when they had Apple and web browser support. Betcoin was my alternative and that seems dead. What is the most popular place to play these days?

You should ask TwitchySeal, what happened to him? He used to keep this section very lively. I've never used them, but you can try SWC poker if you don't like Betcoin, buy in is 100mbtc.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH target 1000$ in ending of this year on: October 01, 2017, 03:55:26 PM
ETH is very good coin after BTC in history of cryptocurrency .i guess it will touch 1000$ in coming few months

There is no way ethereum will touch $1000 this year. The banning and regulation being enforced on ICOs by various governments will only weaken it. We will be lucky to see $500.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Stop New Trader from Panic Selling? on: October 01, 2017, 03:29:41 PM
Panic in markets is normal, you cannot stop traders from doing what comes naturally to them. The best you can do is take advantage of the situation by filling your boots when coins become cheaper.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rumours saying Neo is now legal in China on: October 01, 2017, 01:26:49 PM
Neo has a bright future, rumor or not. it gets pumped a lot for a good reason. If you want a coin that will rise in value in rapidly in the next couple of years, it is neo.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: October 01, 2017, 12:12:04 PM
the thing about ethereum is that it is not just a digital currency. It has many aspects. ... And the benefits of these contracts is that the blockchain provides a decentralized way to verify and enforce them. I support these principles and they will make eth survive for a long time.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of Ethereum (ETH) on: September 27, 2017, 12:46:54 PM
A lot of people recommend building a portfolio of coins. 30% Eth, 30% BTC, 30% LTC, 10% BCC for example. Only a few years ago ethereum  was a very speculative coin.  Now it is very dominant. To be more aggressive, research small coins and take 10–20% of your portfolio and allocate it to the most risky ones.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good investments on: September 26, 2017, 07:51:35 PM
Which ico do you think can rival bitcoin?

The enigma project is the long-term vision of a team mostly comprising of MIT graduates to build an open data marketplace for all types of data. Currently, it is well backed by floodgate, flyBridge capital partners, converge, heroic ventures and digital currency group.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: September 25, 2017, 05:56:34 PM
gambling has a fixed odds system for all major games, while trading in the markets is truly unpredictable.  The “house” or market does not have any unfair advantage as with casino style games.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: September 25, 2017, 04:20:12 PM
there is an interesting thing the cause why Real Madrid suffered bad results in the beginning of league that the owner has been accuse Barcelona and Atletico because they said these team has influence the referee why Ronaldo get the red card and have to suspended for 5 matches but in my view bad results is pure the effect from the player and the manager itself but not from outside factor

The only way they'll turn it around is with the refs help. Robbed Aletico Madrid in 2016 Champions league final with an offside goal and than robbed Bayern with offside goals and red cards Madrid at there peak beat Barcelona 2-0. Barcelona at there peak beat Real Madrid 2-6, 0-4 and 5-0. Thats the difference

32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: September 25, 2017, 03:08:11 PM
Bitcoin is completely free to transfer and hold. The US Dollar is predominantly controlled by financial institutions that often charge fees to transfer it.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc drop near 2k? on: September 24, 2017, 09:59:46 AM
Anything is possible, it could even drop below $1000. But it is proving to be resilient. After the Chinese debacle it is still trading around $3500. I doubt if we will see $2000, unless something drastic happens.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: September 24, 2017, 06:36:42 AM
Mine your own bitcoins. The very first way to get your own bitcoins was through mining. Working for bitcoins.Offer something for bitcoins.Gambling and casino games.Using various bitcoin faucets.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China playing a game :D on: September 23, 2017, 10:19:26 AM
Chinese users are only a fraction of bitcoin users, are they important? Yes, but the community can survive without China. Last time I checked they control less than twelve percent of bitcoins traded.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does BTC control a lot of the other altcoins on: September 23, 2017, 09:01:35 AM
No and yes, almost all the actions are traded against bitcoins. It happens that whenever the bitcoin price tanks, that of altcoins follow. This is as far bitcoin influences other altcoins.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What was the first Altcoin? on: September 23, 2017, 01:39:02 AM
Was anyone around back then?  What was the general opinion of it?

In april 2011, namecoin was created as an attempt at forming a decentralized dns, which would make internet censorship very difficult. Soon after, in october 2011, litecoin was released.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell? on: September 22, 2017, 11:53:58 AM
Buy now that it is sub $4k. anything under $3500 should be hoovered up. Come december january, the price will be comfortably over $5000.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Dark is on the MOVE! on: September 22, 2017, 10:06:53 AM

The name discourages me from taking it seriously, looking forward to reading the whitepaper, It might change my mind. There are over 900 coins circulating and it is very difficult deciding on which to invest in.
